Saw it. Wasn’t bad – but you don’t really see Michael and Lucifer fight. As others have said I’d absolutely love to see a movie about the war in heaven. Besides using paradise lost for material, it could be based on the book series by Donovan M. Neal called the Third Heaven which goes through the build up to the rebellion, what happens after and eventually Satan getting tossed into the lake of the fire in the 4th book. The writing isn’t like, world class, but the books are enjoyable if you like this kind of stuff as I do. Also, I have always wondered why we never got a film about the war in heaven. I think it could be HUGE if done well. Too Christian for Hollywood probably. Or something.
Nice, but still the best ever of this type of film is THE PROPHECY with Viggo Mortensen and Christopher Walken. Great script/writing, all characters are fully fleshed out & interesting, fine direction, and good effects work–they are there to service the story, not just to pop in Action for fanboys who get bored easily. If you’ve never seen this film, by all means look for it and see a really good film.

Everytime there is a “Demon” in a movie, there is almost never an opposite that exists to defeat it. I like that there is a Good that fights back against Evil. An Angel that actually intervenes. Looks like a film that won’t get wide release in the U.S. but will definitely check it out when it comes out on DVD.
If only they would make a movie of good quality and amazing imagination such as this to explain the actual war that DID happen in Heaven explaining why Lucifer became cursed along with a third of the angels (demons), why he became Satan, and even leading up to the Crucifixion of Jesus! Showing the audience what happened where the eye can’t see in the spirit world between God’s awesome power and how sending His only Son, Jesus was the only way to defeat Satan. But when God threw Satan and a third of the angels who followed him out of Heaven, God did NOT throw them in Hell, He them on Earth (Revelation 12:9) Can you imagine the awesome special effects, as proven in this trailer!!!!!!
if we believe that the shroud of Turin do holds Jesus Christ’s DNA – Blood, than this film is a blashemy againts Christ …I think the director or story writer or even the idea of this film is not just entertainment only ….but also trying to mock Christian Faith …..I really hope those people will be wiser and considerate to put this kind of story to public…. . It would be amazing if Hollywood actually made a movie based on 💯 percent pure Bible Prophecy. Not a low budget film like left behind, bit a high budget, amazing special effects film of the events of the end times’ Prophecy and actually having a pastor in the film BIBLICALLY explaining all the events.. NO twisting the scriptures, but staying COMPLETELY true to the Prophets’ books and Revelation. That would be the most AMAZING movie EVER made and watched. Just imagine. The rapture, the rise of the Antichrist, how the tribulation starts with the false peace, leading up to it getting worse. The 144,000, the 2 witnesses, etc…. The 3rd temple, the abomination of desolation….. EVERYTHING The Lamb (Christ) opening the 7 seals of the scroll and each event happening. The 7 angels blowing the trumpets and what follows, then the vials/bowls of God’s wrath. THE RETURN OF CHRIST, and maybe the end showing how the millennium starts and explaining the end of the millennium, leading up to the burning up of this heaven and earth, followed by Great White throne judgement, then the Creation of the NEW Heavens and earth, The New Jerusalem, ETERNITY!!! MAAAAAAN!! I can only imagine. If only I were a film producer in Hollyweird. I doubt Hollyweird would expose what it would have to in order to make that movie though. On the other hand. Do you know how it would do in the box office if it was made right? It would make hundreds of millions, guaranteed!!

Considering that African-Americans as some of the most aggressive a criminally club races on Earth I highly doubt that Michael the archangel is a black man from Africa considering that Michael we are angels never human. The black skin colors do to the sun beaming down on the homo sapiens who lived near the equator. Thus darkening their skin whereas other Homo sapien tribes from Africa migrated to the north where there was more cold and their skin lighten. So why would Michael being African-American dude? Let alone representing the most aggressive and criminally crop race on planet Earth as I said before.
Now that we know how unimaginably large the universe is. God is able to win against his angel insurrection (Why would the angels think they could win, unless they know something we don’t) and where does God decide to place Satan and his minions? why, here on earth, right next to his supposedly most prized and loved possession. They should have used something other than the dhroud of turin as a MacGuffin since it’s actually from the 14th century and has nothing to do with that Jesus dude. The character Satan or the lightbringer, Lucifer, planet venus, son of the dawn, in greek, gets a lot of bad rep. Obviously he’s composite from older mythology characters in Zoroastrian religion plagiarised and embellished. In the bible he’s deliberately mistranslated in Isaiah as he was blaming Babylonian astrology mythos and the character Satan only did one bad thing under God’s orders. In the New Christian Testament, he seems to be the scapegoat for literally everything, even though it was God of the old testament that was doing all the nasty murdering stuff, but in the gospels, its Jesus who reigns in hell not the devil and it is Jesus crushing the unbelievers in the bloody wine press. Strange thing is early Christians called Jesus the Lightbringer too and one of the first Christian denominations were called the Luciferians. Maybe they’re related or maybe the same guy. But today Hollywood depicts Satan as either some weird guy in a suit, a dragon monster or a screaming child tied to a bed. I bet if you go back a few hundred years, Christians will say what the f*ck is this??? I wish they would make a real honest movie about the history of Satan and the character’s origins, not another of this child throwing up, possession crap, but I think if they did, they would realise the whole premise of the story of Satan is pretty dumb and man made fantasy.
The problem is the modern day church does not teach this stuff at all. You read the book of 1 enoch it explains so much. It talks about the half angel half human hybrids that the fallen angels made when they had sex with the women which genesis 6 talks about but enoch goes into more detail. 1 enoch was taken out of the bible but never should have been. The modern church presents the spiritual world in such a cartoonish way it is no wonder nobody takes the bible seriously. Movies like this I think help explain what was really going on back then.
Is it me or is this movie literally the plot of supernatural especially the first five seasons and the last 2 .I mean Lucifer fighting Michael then having a child with a human and also theses archangels possessing humans . I mean. Besides the DNA thing .this is literally supernatural without Sam or dean
hasn’t the whole angel demon bible Jezus lucifer thing been milked enough? always the same thing good vs evil, he likes him, there family is shocked they are gay, a little bit of drama and the boys get back together in the end something happily ever after, we got to look at new original ideas, new concepts like tentacle magical fruit or space toilets attacking the earth!!
I doubt this will be good story wise, so if they only have a budget like the current superhero movies right now, then the action scenes will be better and the story can be simple but the actions scenes can be spectacular and will worth the watch, Imagine if Angel Michael and Lucifer fought in a modern day setup with a big battle scenes like Superman vs. Zod in Man of Steel, man that would be Glorious to see in big screen BUT again I don’t think they have that kind of budget.
Definitely we’re checking out it’s a sleeper film that’s more of a sleeper horror film that most people don’t know about a stuff that we’re checking out very deeply into religion of good versus evil but definitely we’re checking out spoiler alert there might be a sequel coming out can’t wait a child by the way it ended it looks like there might be a sequel all on all I give it a 13 out of 13 skulls and saved definitely check it out Let me know what you think of that it’s a sleeper horror film that was 0 people but me and my friend CNN the theater said nobody wants to see this movie it’s a sleeper horror movie but it’s highly recommended that you check it out
