Are Mystic Cartridges Limited Edition?

The 6 month expiration date was established to comply with new Department of Health regulations requiring stability testing for all products. This date is typically used for cartridges, such as HP original CB436A laserjet toner cartridges and Mystic Clear Myst and Bronz Myst cartridges. It is unlikely that a weed cart will have a shelf life longer than this, as the product has likely lost most of its potency.

The expiration date on the bottom of a SodaStream bottle serves as a guideline for optimal use and ensures a long shelf life. OEM inks typically have a shelf life of around two years, while compatible inks generally have a shelf life of around two years. HP promises that use is possible even six months after the expiration date, but a self-experiment may reveal that the manufacturer’s date code is likely a date code of when the cartridge was made.

Ink cartridges do not have expiration dates, so if you are having difficulty with the ink purchased for the printer, contact a Canon representative. Mystic has improved their formulation last year, and these cartridges have a Dec. 2012 expiration date. Most formulations and active ingredients have a shelf life of about two years from the manufacturing date.

When purchasing cannabis cartridges, it is important to check the expiration date, as they can only be good for two more months. While some products have issues, such as the price and effect, they are generally safe for use.

A heated argument turns into a huge roast. @ 0:40 – Why you look 50 and you’re 24.

Do ink cartridges have expiration dates?

Most cartridge manufacturers include an expiration date on their ink and toner cartridges, but they do not guarantee the quality of the ink or toner beyond the date. Stored cartridges can be exposed to air, heat, and dust, affecting print quality. The expiration date helps customers know if the cartridge is in good condition. The expiration date depends on the brand and manufacturer. Brother, for example, claims their toner cartridges have a shelf life of 2 years if the protective bag is unopened, and 6 months after opening the protective bag.

How do you know if ink has gone bad?

Inks that appear slimy, moldy, or have a bad smell should be thrown out immediately as they are contaminated and not usable. Inks with a bad smell, such as rotten eggs, are not worth saving and can ruin your pen. Factors determining shelf life include packaging material, storage methods, ink type, color, and ingredients used. It is essential to avoid inks that look slimy, moldy, or have a bad smell, as they are beyond saving and may ruin your pen.

Do vape cartridges have an expiration date?

Vaping an expired cartridge is generally safe, but it’s not recommended due to the potential degradation of golden-colored oils and visible mold growth. THC cartridges typically have a shelf life of six months to a year, but after this, they lose potency and flavor. The lifespan of a vape pen cartridge depends on factors like size and usage frequency. A 500mg cartridge typically lasts for 250-300 puffs, while a 1000mg cartridge can last around 500-600 puffs. It’s important to check labels for expiration dates and use them responsibly. The lifespan of a vape pen cartridge depends on the length and intensity of a user’s inhale.

What happens if you use an expired cartridge?

Using expired toner or ink cartridges can potentially damage your printer by thickening, separating, or drying out over time. This can cause clogs in the printhead or nozzles, causing damage to your printer’s function. To avoid these issues, it is recommended to perform basic maintenance such as nozzle cleaning or gently shaking the toner cartridge to spread the ink or toner evenly. While using expired toner and ink cartridges can save money, it is crucial to manage expectations and consider the potential long-term harm to your printer. The quality of your prints may not be at its best, and you should weigh the cost savings against the potential long-term damage caused by expired cartridges.

How long do carts stay good for?

Vape carts typically last around a year after manufacturing, but after that point, the oil in the cartridge degrades, making it best to not use it. Pre-filled THC vape carts are expensive, so it’s important to stock up when possible. THC carts tend to last longer than flower carts, which can grow mold when improperly stored or for a long period. Dab carts don’t last forever, and if stored long enough, they eventually get to a point where you won’t want to use it. Using an expired dab cart can pose dangers, with the primary risk being potential mold contamination in an anaerobic environment.

How can you tell if an ink cartridge is bad?

How can you tell if an ink cartridge is bad?

The first sign of a printer cartridge issue is missing colors, streaky prints, smudges, and ink blotches. Some printers, like HP, Samsung, and Canon, may warn users if a cartridge is damaged and refuse to print. These issues could also indicate an issue with the printer itself, such as a misaligned printhead, damaged drum unit, or dirty corona wire. Before replacing the cartridge, check the printer manual for guidelines on cleaning or aligning the printhead or, if using a laser printer, replacing the drum unit or cleaning the corona wire.

If the issue is not with the printhead, drum unit, or corona wire, the fault is likely with the printer cartridge. To diagnose the issue, inspect the cartridge by taking it out of the printer, checking for ink inside, and ensuring the built-in printhead is not damaged or dirty.

Do Canon ink cartridges have a shelf life?

The shelf life of Canon ink is two years when stored in its original packaging. It is important to note that the cartridge may still function even after two years, therefore it is advisable to test it after use. The intricacies of various ink cartridges can prove challenging to comprehend. This article, however, seeks to address the full range of concerns pertaining to Canon ink.

Can cartridges go out of date?

Ink cartridges come with an expiration date and are only covered by a warranty until this date. Over time, ink settles and can dry out, making it difficult to print properly. Exposure to air and heat can cause cartridges to dry up more quickly. Ink is a chemical substance, prone to changes over time that affect its quality and performance. These changes can result in printing issues like faded prints or clogs in the printhead. Additionally, ink cartridges are not entirely airtight, leading to oxidization and evaporation, which can decrease the volume of ink and affect the number of pages it can print.

What is the lifespan of ink cartridges?

What is the lifespan of ink cartridges?

The expiration date of a cartridge can be used even after two years if stored properly in the correct environment. Most ink cartridges are designed to last for at least two years after the purchase date. However, an expired cartridge may clog your printhead, which can be a costly fix.

Remanufactured cartridges are previously used original cartridges that have been refurbished, refilled with ink, and optimized for reuse in your printer. Expiration dates on remanufactured cartridges are usually older than recently purchased original cartridges, as they have already been through one cycle of use. This can confuse consumers when they see an old expiration date on the side of their cartridge.

The expiration date on the side of the cartridge refers to the expiration date of the original cartridge, not the remanufactured one. To be refurbished, an original cartridge must be used, recycled, refurbished, and sold to a new consumer, making the expiry date on the side obsolete. Any remanufactured cartridge should be good for up to two years from the date of purchase.

If you have an older cartridge and are experiencing poor print results, there are a couple of troubleshooting steps you can take to prolong the life of your cartridge.

Where is the expiration date on Canon ink cartridges?

Canon asserts that the ink in its cartridges is not subject to expiration and, as a result, no date is affixed to the cartridges. It is advised that the cartridges be left intact until they are required for use, in order to maintain the quality of the ink. In contrast to the aforementioned manufacturer, Brother sets the expiration date of its ink two years after the manufacturing date and recommends changing the cartridges every six months. Both companies assert that their ink does not expire following the removal of the cartridge.

How do you check ink expiry date?

How do you check ink expiry date?

The date of expiration for an ink cartridge can be readily ascertained by examining the cartridge itself, as it will have a clearly imprinted or embossed date indicating the recommended replacement date for the ink, should it not already be expired.

  • As a tattooed gentleman myself, I actually have respect for this guy for giving the client what he wanted and not just giving the judges and the other artists what they wanted. This show has a weird premise, if you’re not the one getting tattooed, your opinion on whether or not the person should like it is irrelevant. That’s up to the person getting it and the artist doing the tattoo. It’s literally an agreement among two people.

  • Holy cow… but seriously, the guy’s in the right: the one wearing (and if it wasn’t a competition, would be paying for) the tattoo is the client. The client was happy, and to insinuate that the judges’ opinion comes before the client themselves is absolutely bonkers. You don’t go to a restaurant and ask for a hamburger and get a goat soup because the restaurant owner decides that’s best for you. That’s terrible service.

  • In fairness they attacked him first, and he is correct is a customer wants an inappropriate tattoo than I don’t see why the tatooer can be blamed for it, he is simply giving the customer what they want, so yes I’m confused why they attacking him in the first place. He sits there totally mind blown being attacked over nothing OF COURSE he is going to lash out and defend himself, I say well done bro a FUNNY comeback mate 😂

  • I like that within 30 seconds she says it’s about the integrity of his work as a tattooist and then contradicts it with “it’s not about whether your customer likes their tattoo, it’s about what the judges think”…. Does this lady actually understand integrity? Because integrity doesn’t involve compromising the vision of yourself and your customer to score some points…

  • Honestly, him saying he gave the person what they wanted and they were happy with it is RIGHT. The competition is important for them on the show but the people they are tattooing are still people who will have these tattoos until they are covered or removed, so it should be something they want on themselves and something they will be happy with wether it’s fully what the challenge asks for or not. The fact that he pointed out shaky lines and bad execution on the girl’s tattoo and they didnt deny it but instead said “That can be fixed” is just wrong. It shouldn’t HAVE to be fixed, tattoos are permanent and so should be done correctly the first time, not “oh that’s shakey but we can fix it later” because depending on how wobbly it is, or how unclear it is, you could end up with a big blotch that looks even worse after trying to “fix” it…True the age comment had nothing to do with tattoos, but honestly neither did the girl’s argument which was basically that it didn’t matter what the person wanted to have tattooed on them and all that mattered was the competition. Props to him for giving the person he was tattooing something they wanted. He may not have won the competition, but he’s got his head and heart in the right place, tattoos should be what the person who’s getting them wants, not just a competition guideline for what the judges want to see.

  • To all the people saying that boneface was rude just know that Nikki deserved this completely. She targeted him from the very beginning and literally had no reason to do so. She remained so bitter from the very first elimination round and was mad about the jobs each member on his team got for the challenge (specifically his job). And was bitter and disrespectful towards him from the beginning. She 100% deserved what he gave her. I never liked her attitude throughout this season and was waiting for someone to burst her bubble. Watch this season before you make a judgement on two people from a 40 second clip.

  • So you mean to tell me, he tattooed his client and they were happy with the design and then 3 other competitive women start insulting the artist’s work. Not only did they try to bring this artist down, they probably made that client feel like crap for getting a “shit tattoo” when they thought it was pretty cool. Here’s some integrity about their overall personality. Even in a competition, it’s an ugly look to attack someone’s self esteem in order to make yourself look better. Like tell me how “yours will always be ugly” is considered constructive criticism. They attacked him and ironically they came off looking like bitches

  • Nationwide marijuana legalization must be enacted. If alcohol & tobacco (both 100% PROVEN to cause death) are legal, & there’s designated places for addicts to openly shoot up heroin, fentaNYL, or whatever other type of poison they like without fear of arrest, then marijuana(which has NEVER been found to cause death) should DEFINITELY be legal! I reckon that just makes too much sense though.

  • As an MD. he should know that none of the data from poison control centers should be taken seriously because they are self reported anecdotes by ppl who almost never have any medical training themselves. These reports arent evidence because the plural of anecdote is not “evidence.” If these reports came from actual medical records recorded by medical professionals, THEN it would be considered evidence.

  • If I could just go down the road to a legal dispensary and buy marijuana, I’d do that over hemp-derived THC any day. I am thankful because delta 8 and other hemp-derived cannabinoids have really helped me get through this past year with depression, anxiety, and a potential bi-polar disorder. Marijuana is completely illegal in my state, recreationally and medically, and it has not been decriminalized here. They need to stop playing around and just legalize marijuana already. 2023 needs to be the time. It will allow people to buy cannabis with a lot more confidence. People like me who haven’t seen a doctor/psychiatrist for mental issues, but know THC helps based on personal experience, will benefit greatly. Not to mention the revenue the states will get (just look at states that have it legalized recreationally). It’s a win win.

  • You made a good point and I appreciate it! I was gonna look into it but now you’ve changed my mind . I will continue taking my 6 Hydrocodone and 12 beers before bed. And for daytime I drink 4-6 red bulls every 6 hours to stay awake. This seems to help me and I see that there is no bad publicity towards Hydrocodone, alcohol and energy drinks 🙂 Thanks again for the article! Well, time to go and get my triple meat burger with extra bacon and a large sweet tea with extra sugar cause that too isnt bad for you.

  • You are absolutely correct, the older generations are almost afraid of cannabis in some cases. My grandfather told me he has to have a “night cap” to sleep at night. Which is a glass of rum. I told him I really want him to try full spectrum CBD instead. He can’t be drinking every night to fall asleep that is NOT okay. Especially for someone in their 70s. For all the years of wisdom he passed down to me, I finally was able to do the same for him, and he loves the CBD capsules and sleeps like a baby with no side effects ❤ it’s heartbreaking to think our own government demonized cannabis to the point where we actually think alcohol is somehow “less” of a drug. Alcohol, cigarettes, along with over-prescribed benzodiazepines and opiates are poisonous addictive drugs. The government isn’t always right. And they got this one WAY wrong.

  • With respect Dr., I doubt I’m the only here who finds the CDC’s credibility profoundly diminished over the past few years – especially what they report regarding alternative treatments for pain or anxiety. Paraphrasing Bob Dylan, “they have too much to lose by telling the truth.” I believe a lot of Americans feel this way lately not just about the CDC, but many times their doctors too.

  • Just an FYI: Delta 8 lasts way longer than Delta 9 in your system (the reverse of the actual psychoactive effects). If you are taking a drug test, this could be a problem. It took me 8 weeks to flush Delta 8 out of my system as a 3 day a week user. I went through this twice. After doing some looking around, I found some others online with the same experience. For me, Delta 9 takes no longer than 2 weeks to flush.

  • I know this. I was an opiate and iv heroin user for 2 decades. Today I am coming up on a year clean for the first time EVER. When I was on mood stabilizers I felt terrible. I had constant anxiety and paranoia. I also have a metal hip upon other numerous injuries. Delta 8 has helped me get off mood stabilizers and feel like I’m actually living. I did see an alarming number of people in rehab for weed so that is scary but I feel like as long as you read the labs and do your research you can see the benefits of d8.

  • I love my Delta 8. I just started using it a month ago for sleep and pain from arthritis as well as for anxiety. I adjust my dose and take a quarter of a gummy during the day for pain and I take a half at night for sleep. I wake up feeling great. Certain places that sell it, sell a concentrated form of the Delata 8. I don’t care either way, it works for me and i’m going to continue using it.

  • If the federal government would just freaking legalize cannabis altogether, this wouldn’t even be an issue. I actually lean right politically, but the war on drugs (and calling cannabis a “drug” in the first place) has caused so much more harm than the “drugs” themselves. #legalizecannabis #legalizedrugs

  • What I find alarming is what NSAIDS did to me as I used them to help me bear what Psoriatic, Rheumatoid and Septic arthritis do to me as they are slowly killing me. I could have very easily lived the rest of my remaining years without the effects of 8 ischemic strokes from long term use of NSAIDS. I’ll take my chances until my state wakes up.

  • I’ve been doing Delta 8 for four years without issues. I don’t vape it or smoke hemp sprayed with it. I use gummies which gives me 11 hydroxy-delta 8 tetrahydrocannabinol after metabolism. I take between 75 and 100mg three to four times a day. Sometimes I do HHC, HHCO, HHCp, THCp, THCO, and mix it with psilocybin and other psychedelics. No issues.

  • Delta 8 helped me with a real bad case of heart burn ive never experienced in my life. For 3 months I couldn’t enjoy a meal or sleep flat without it acting up. Got desperate and turned to alternative means, delta 8 came up. I treated the stuff like medicine and smoked small pinch doses. Two days later of this self medication and my pain and acid reflux is gone.

  • When I first bought Delta 8 at a brick and mortar shop, I was sketched out by the fact that the box had no website at all. barely anything except the same common legal stuff you see on the other boxes, and an instagram page. those carts were harsh sometimes and I felt really off about them (cake carts btw). so I did some research online, found online shops that sell really good products and now I have carts that are really smooth with really nice flavors.

  • FUN FACT: Delta 9 isnt actually stronger. The problem is that the liver adds a hydroxy ion to the Delta 9 structure to make it water soluble so it will get evacuated through the kidneys when the blood flows through them. When the liver makes that change the new chemical shape is called Delta 11 which is 7 times more potent at hitting on the same receptor sites. So technically Delta 9 is almost the same as Delta 8, except that Delta 9 gets converted by the liver to Delta 11 and is 7 times stronger until it finally leaves the body. A similar metabolic process happens when regular THC-A gets converted to THC by heat, then to Delta 11 by the liver. Vaping reduces how much active chemical gets changed by the liver so thats why vaping doesnt feel nearly as strong as edibles. Edibles hang out in your gut getting processed by the liver very slowly increasing the felt effect which also happens to cause you to build a tolerance faster. Vaping has many advantages over oral route.

  • first time users can easily overdose on certain strains of cannabis with just one large puff . I have seen it and also experienced it when I was on probation for years with drug testing .So for the first time in years I tried it again and I took a large inhale and wound up getting so high the room started spinning and my blood pressure was way up until I vomited for an hour until only bile came out . I then fell asleep or passed out and woke up or came to hours later . Now I always try it first with very small inhales just to make sure that never happens again if its been awhile since I has some .But amazing how fast it develops a tolerance and more is needed

  • One cannot hallucinate on THC (delta 8,9,10), period, so there’s that. Can’t patent organic plants = no profits for big Pharma= keep illegal/no studies/research, etc.), -think about that. Cannabis has not killed one person, as it does not attach to the brain stem/respiratory system, unlike the OTC medications, and of course, opiates, benzo, temazapam families. Total con game taken over once again by commerce ($$$$), (CBD/Delta 8), with many failing to realize the benefits and the homeostasis states that cannabis can provide. Everyone needs to do their research. 💫🕊️

  • I waited 7 years for the neuropathic pain, following a spinal cord injury, to stop on it’s own. In the 2 months I’ve been using D8 products I’ve only had a couple of very brief and mild episodes. And this pain I WOULD wish on my worst enemy. It’s bad to the point I really can’t function well at anything requiring a thought process or concentration. And I actually work for a small town hospital district. My employer said, in not quite these words: You’re on your own with that. Sure, I could get a pain management referral if I had stage 6 Romulan Herpes, but not for suffering with a very debilitating and agonizing pain. So I went the less than natural rout, because the natural rout is still a black market.

  • I love Delta 8 for my anxiety and sometimes for just a little extra relaxation and fun, but I do agree that it can be dangerous if people don’t know some of this stuff. Before buying a Delta-8 product, a person should always make sure that the product is third party tested and that the lab the manufacturer uses is legit. These third party labs should be testing for harmful chemicals, metals, bacteria, etc. Also, any added Delta 9 THC should be compliant with state laws on THC concentrations.

  • For those that dont know the difference is that people that smokes high quality medical weed will have to smoke twice the amount on cheap delta 8 to chase the high they’re looking for, in turn the exessive amount will give them adverse side effects from oversmoking the fibers, thats why id rather smoke quality over quantity 🏕

  • I have been using D8 for a couple of years now. I have had no such problems. Maybe others could have these problem with it. Different brands, different individuals could all have different problems. Its not something that you can shoot one bullet at and hit the target obviously. I like D8, compared to the anxiety i get from D9. D9 is totally illegal in my state which adds to the paranoia of using it. I would add that anything that you inhale into your lungs has a 99% chance of not being good for you.

  • I think one of the biggest dangers surrounding delta-8, as well as cannabis in general, is ignorance. If someone doesn’t know what they’re signing up for, there’s a much bigger risk of something going wrong (like accidentally taking too much, having a negative reaction, etc.). Helping people be well-informed is the best way to go imo

  • As a CDL local driver where the company tests us for urine and mouth swap every 3 months…( Keep in mind I might not get tested for a year straight… its a random 3 month thing on all employees) Our company does tell us a day before which can be 14-24 hours before…which is cool because our drivers usually leave at 5:30 am in the morning. So that’s when we get tested them leave. Most of our drivers drink after work. Maybe a beer or 2 or 12 idk. Ever since I started working for the trucking industry, its been a thing for me to drink after work… and it has also been a negative impact on my life because I havnt smoked in the past 6 years… but have replaced it with drinking instead 😔 I think it’s total bs that I can have a good amount of drinks the night before and the next morning have no alcohol in my system with giving the 1 hour drink time system… but yet feel a little disoriented because of being dehydrated and maybe slight hungover, but still pass a drug test. Alot of our drivers say the same thing too. I think the federal law on thc for CDL should have some kind of test that shows within a certain amount of hours just like alcohol… but that will never happen. 🙄🙄🙄 Us truck drivers dream of it. I rarely drank alcohol before I was a truck driver 6 years ago. Now I have to have something legal to unwind after a work day. Its sad and dumb at the same time.

  • I was injured during a combat repel-Spiral fracture in the lower back, 15 ruptured discs and they had to fuze my neck C6-C7. The Army gave me all the pain meds you can imagine and sent me back to war. When I got out I felt like a crippled junkie. Another vet suggested MJ (I’m in WA state and got a prescription)- I found if I went with a 1 to 1 ratio – CBD to THC- I got great pain relief. I keep it natural ONLY- CO2 extraction, all the cannabinoids included. This is the first I have heard of this Doctor!!!! Thank you.

  • Acetic acid is literally vinegar dude :0 I inhale that regularly, I used to eat entire jars of PICKLES. A trace amount of vinegar in a dab isn’t going to hurt me that much 😛 I’m sorry XP Huffing pure acetic anhydride might be bad sure, but this is gonna be so dilute that you would be inhaling less acetate than you would while eating your vinaigrette for lunch. A few simple distillations (maybe even 1) can remove the heavy metals. Plus regular, medical grade extracts are often made with solvents, you evacuate the solvents under vacuum and it’s cool beans green jeans ;3

  • I think that a part of the ordeal is the packaging,, but not in the way people may think. We have a LOT of young adults drawn to cartoon-esque and even childish packaging and marketing. Have we seen some of the commercials that are marketing towards young adults as of late? It’s hard to distinguish what commercial is aimed at who at times. If the market dictates that this type of advertising does work with young adults, it’s not even being looked at as to whether it is drawing children too, just so long as it’s making money. It seems like people have forgotten about a certain other synthetic weed. Anyone else remember ‘spice’? I’ll pass and stick with the real deal.

  • I like it because it helps me relax, but it’s also more effective at pain management. Epilepsy plus osteoporitic bones means it’s not uncommon to break things when I have seizures. Seven spinal compression fractures so far and I’m 38 years old. And not having to deal with the addictive affects of painkillers like oxy is pretty nice. Much cheaper, too.

  • I was getting sick off D8. I switched to it because even though I live in a medical state and have a card D8 was much cheaper. I tried it for a month and was feeling sick the whole time. Go back to the legal medical here in Ohio and within a week I was feeling better. I doubt it was the D8 itself making me sick. I assume it is whatever they are adding to it as a filler. This is why this stuff needs to be legal and regulated.

  • The only reason these workarounds products even exist is because there are some people and states out there that feel the need to tell others what they can and cannot put into their bodies through regulation. If you just legalized natural cannabis, there would be no need for highly processed cannabis products like this. I used to dab clean non solvent cannabis extracts in a legal state but now living in an illegal state I have no other choices but to take the risks.

  • I use CBD to sleep, It Works Wonders For Me! So I bought some CBD from the gas station the other day, thinking it was just normal CBD. I took my regular dose of 150 mg. not knowing what delta 8 was. Yeah… Bad Move Brotha! I was baked out of my mind perusal Frazier! Cotton Mouth, munchies, the whole 9!

  • I think that delta 8 is MORE dangerous than delta 9 because of how horribly unregulated but accessible it is. You never know whats in the drugs you are buying, but its more trustable to buy from a medicine man who cares about his customers, rather than buying carts with WHatever in them from a gas station.

  • Firstly, Delta-9 is legal in all states as long as it’s hemp derived. I take a full spectrum CBD gummy which has 1.5 mg THC/Gummy . Love it. Two of those will definitely get you high, but the benefits are outstanding in my experience. Certainly something to keep away from kids. I believe there should be some type of age verification process for these products. I use a product that third-party lab tested as well. The legalities are it has to be < 0.3% thc by dry weight. Lastly, people should understand the biology of consuming edibles with THC. The liver converts the THC molecule into a stronger metabolite so it does not take much THC to get you high. Definitely a legal loophole with these products. You can take several of these and get highly stoned.

  • Around 4 years ago, I went to a local vape store because they advertised as they jad Cbd and didn’t carry thc products which I do not consume. They sold me Delta 8. At the time I had a chronic back issue so I ate 1 gummy and then thinking that it was Cbd I then ate another one. Soon enough I was really out of sorts! In a haliucenegitc state and was in a high state of anxiety. Called the store, they did not even know what they were aellihg, as they had claimed they did not sell thc products! This article is such a great one – thank you Jack! I did get a refund yet I don’t think they took it off the shelf!

  • So I wanna get off antidepressants. I’ve been trying my best to micro dose on Delta 8 gummies, as little as I can. They help me not need to take antidepressants. Though my back and side have been hurting and the timing is interesting. When I take Delta 8, I’m more motivated to work and be productive. My body and mind are more stimulated on Delta 8. Antidepressants have not helped me work and feel motivated to do things historically. Took a Delta 9 gummy and that make me anxious and paranoid. Smoking and vaping have their issues. I wish there was a healthy way to take just enough to help.

  • Cannabis is a hallucinogenic and will expand and amplify your mind and feelings unlike alcohol. If you feel awful when taking cannabis it suggests you have a number of underlying issues that you need to address. Cannabis can help us address these feelings that have been subdued but it can be an unpleasant experience. If you are suicidal or have a diagnosed mental health issue strong doses of cannabis might not be for you at the moment. Best wishes everything will work out ❤

  • I do commercial HVAC and one day last week I was working at the Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill New Jersey, and there was a booth in the mall selling all kinds of cannabis products. I am not a user of cannabis. But I was extremely curious. So I bought a $18 package of 5 mg gummy bears. I’ve yet taken them because I am kind of leery. I told the gentleman that I did not want to get messed up I just want to feel a little good and be able to still function . So he gave me a sativa gummy bear called euphoria. I will not eat this until I find out if it’s safe.

  • You know I actually recently just had a terrible episode due to Delta 8 and actually had to go to the hospital and I didn’t know that it was That bad for you or that it was that untested It made my suicidal thoughts like all that my boyfriend swears up and down that I could have been hallucinating with some of it

  • I think it’s fine to warn people about certain things but it’s missing some context which is important. Yes D8 is extracted differently and one needs to research which companies purify the extraction from harmful by products and have independent lab tests. It’s going to cost more for those though but it’s worth it. There’s a reputable company in Utah which makes purified D8 products and one can find them and other companies out there. Not using the bad products aside, I think because D8 is milder than D9, there are people who will take more of it to get a level of effect and end up taking more than is intended which can result in negative side effects.

  • Well let me put it to you like this… I have got severe PTSD generalized anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder and ADHD with a touch of OCD. I watched my dad die when I was six and then I was handed off to a child rapist until I was about 12 years old… It’s kind of blurry after that but a lot of family death and then I enlisted in the military. I had a stellar military career. I was honored at the opportunity to become a ranger with the 75th ranger regiment 3rd battalion. I have under my belt six completed tours in Afghanistan and unfortunately I did get shot on my final tour and that’s what ended my military career unofficially and then it officially ended about a year and a half after that. I was a second lieutenant when it was over. I had a heinous drug addiction for about 4 years. I lost everything and I mean everything My children my wife absolutely every goddamn thing. I have been drug-free for approximately 4.5 years. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to deal with the emotional and psychological issues and it’s gotten pretty goddamn bad I mean to the point where removing the top of my head or the back of it or just a gigantic chunk of it with a firearm has sounded like a damn fine idea. And believe me there’s plenty of them around. I mean I grew up around them whatever anyway… All kinds of horrific shit seen over in Afghanistan. And I have been on literally 13 medications for the last year and a half. I have known terminally ill people that haven’t been prescribed half of what I am from all these fucking doctors pardon my language.

  • This is so sad and disturbing to me (and confusing, since Cannabis has been legal in Massachusetts for almost a decade). I’ve used it every day for over 20 years, and it helps me a lot with anxiety and hypersensitivity from PTSD and Autism. I thought that almost the whole world was legalizing Cannabis at this point, yet there are parts of the country that have to use a dangerous synthetic drug instead?? That is so horrible (especially when Cannabis has so many health benefits, including reducing your risk of cancer and promoting the healing process).

  • Was very happy that You weren’t just another anti Cannabis quack. As a long time medical Cannabis advocate with a fairly extensive knoledge of Cannabis and the endocannabinoid system (compared to your average citizen), I respect what You are saying and appreciate the scientific approach. Processing is a very dangerous aspect of the industry indeed, and to hear that a death has occured, dispite not being due to naturally derived Cannabinoids, is heartbreaking. I blame the same lawmakers who fail to recognize the studies already conducted on Delta 9THC and CBD induced Apoptosis of cancer cells. The cancer fighting properties of Cannabis alone should have kept us on a medicinal track years ago, but greed and buerocracy has sent us down an awful track compared to where I saw things going in the medical Cannabis days (My state had the first dispensary in the nation, I’ve been in this for a while). Anyways, thank You for sharing info for the sake of peoples health. I can tell You actually care❤❤❤❤❤🙏💜💙💚🧡💛🙏❤❤❤❤❤

  • #Doctor Jack Has Your Back is there a safe alternative to delta 8? I’ve struggled with sleep for close to 40 years, I started taking a half of a gummy and for the first time in years I’m getting normal sleep. Unfortunately it’s years too late as I can notice the effects of only getting a few hours sleep per night.

  • I remember when K2 first became popular in my area. I was 19, and all I knew about it was that it was legal and got you high. I quickly began to realize that what I was consuming was not good for me even in small amounts. I was aware of the “Do not consume or ingest” warning, although some of the brands didn’t have any warning whatsoever. Despite getting sick from it, I always wanted more. I was hooked on it for about a year. These days, I only use Delta 9. I’ve learned that if something new seems sketchy or too good to be true, then it very well might be. Thank you for this information. I’m subscribing.

  • I am one of those people that D8 helped a lot, but if I was being honest with myself… it’s not that good. I remember smoking real flower, and it’s never that harsh. I go into the worst coughing fits, I tried everything my hydration, to using cold water, etc. I think I’m stable enough to go without D8 now, because I do want to live. And smoking and doing the D8 shit just KILLS my lungs and voice. So thank you for making this article, helped me to come to this decision.

  • Is Delta 8 different from Delta 8 THC? Many times these names seem to be used differently from one sentence to another sentence. If a bottle is labeled as Delta 8, is it different than Delta 8 THC? I have found that 0.25ml in the evening helps take the edge off pain and improves sleep(?), but I feel tired/fog brain most of the next day.

  • Misleading title and info Jack! Delta 8 is most likely safe, if you get it from an established company! You never stressed that. There are so many hemp companies that have their products 3rd party tested. Many people get relief from D8. The ONLY problem is tainted products being sold by independent sellers. Trusted companies all have 3rd party lab tests. These are crucial points for an actual insightful article.

  • Ok, from Paramedic to Dr (with 100% respect to your medical rank) we both know how prevelant acetic acid is, and the intake of it would realistically be such a small amount it’s almost inconsequential, even through inhalation. The fact it’s not labeled properly by some evil off-brand companies just means adults need to do their own research before purchasing the product, as we do for almost everything we buy. Delta 8 does have undeniable medical benefits (albiet subjective) such as pain relief, anti-depressive, and improved sleep aids. Which are all pretty well documented none the less. Honestly, the most dangerous part about delta 8 is its poor packaging. Obviously boh you and I and you are bound by federal laws, so we cannot try delta 8 for a self experiment. But it’s hard to ignore the vast anecdotal research from patients who experience actual medical benefits, and don’t want to get hooked on opiates for pain or rely on ambien to sleep. Just my 2 cents

  • Ok, so… I’m aware that for gummies and tinctures, etc, that cannabis has to be processed somehow to form a concentrate. Simple enough. That’s where we run into additives like hexane (which my lungs didn’t agree with, just for the record). However, here’s my question: when it comes to delta-8 flower, isn’t it essentially the same as THC-A for the purposes of flower? As long as it’s under .03% of delta-9, then it’s good to go, right? So, unless manufacturers are taking worthless non-euphoric hemp that would probably be better served as rope or paper, spraying it with a delta-8 concentrate, and not labeling as such, where’s the concern? Like, I get it when comes to vapes, gummies, etc. But, isn’t a cannabis flower just a cannabis flower? How is someone going to make that synthetic? Or, are companies spraying their flower with concentrates? Personally, I live in what is basically a non-legal, criminalized state – prescriptions only come with very specific and debilitating health issues. And, I’m smart enough to know that if you can buy it from a gas station, it’s probably not very good for you. So, when delta-8 became available, I went from vaping, to flower, and now to THC-A because it seems to have less health risks. Just curious to know if I’m following a proper path and if my logic is correct about delta-8 flower in particular. Thanks.

  • I’ve personally never had any problems with the delta variants, but it is interesting information. I think a majority of the problems likely derive from products with artificial terpenes (the same thing occurs with flavored nictotine based vapes). There’s always a story, “tried a new vape flavor now I’m in the hospital”, or something like that. This has always been a concern of mine in regards to ‘proprietary ingredients’. If you are going to buy the products, look for a simple list. delta (or whatever blend you like, hhc/thc-p etc.) vg and pg with natural terpenes. That’s the best advice.

  • I’m in a state where real weed isn’t legal so I use D8 to help manage my PTSD. Until I started using it I was having multiple panic attacks today and I hadn’t slept a night without nightmares in about five years. All of that has been reduced greatly since I’ve started using D8. it’s sad that our country won’t let us have the medication we need in its original/natural form. It’s scary. I’ve been getting mine from a manufacture in California and having it shipped so hopefully that’s not quite as bad 🙈

  • wow, wish i watched this a year ago.. the biggest issue i have is with the mercury, and chemicals.. that said, i have used delta 8 a fair amount because i was getting very paranoid with regular weed a lot over the years.. quit a few times, but it has always helped me fall asleep so i tried the delta 8 thinking i would be just the good parts as cbd wasnt cutting it for me really. anyway, thank you for your info, much appreciated

  • 5:48 As a Minnesota Resident, I can confirm that these are in almost every has station and thousands use them (myself included) as a legal loophole to get high recreationally. YOU CAN HOWEVER still get a dui or lose a job via drug test because they make you fail. As long as you buy it in an actual store/gas station, they are 100% safe in MN

  • Thank you for this very informative article. I’m 52 years old and body aches is starting to creep onto my body so I’m searching for the safest way for relief. I’m grateful that I’ve stumbled upon this article (algorithm) while searching for answers, so I am a new subscriber to your website with the “ALL’ notification highlighted. Once again, thank you Dr. Jack for this vital informative announcement article.

  • If you get full spectrum gummies that contain more than say 0.5 or 1mg, it’s likely synthetic. If you must indulge in D-8, do your research of company reputation and ALWAYS make sure it’s safety tested with lab results for content (you’ll pay double but it’s worth some peace of mind. I would also add full spectrum CBD should contain no more than 5mg of D-9 per gummy (3mg per ml of oil), with at least x4 times the CBD to THC ratio…, so legit gummies for example might be 1/10, 2/25, 2.5/50, and occasionally 5/25. Edibles that are 1:1 ratio with say 10mgs of each are NOT full spectrum gummies and should not carry a misleading hemp CBD label, as they are intoxicating. While a FS gummy with say 2.5/50 might give you a mild buzz (speaking from experience hehe), they should not cause an intoxicating effect like you would with 10/10 gummies. With that being said, about 5% of people are hypersensitive, so even 1mg of THC could cause intoxication in that group. Ultimately, your best bet is sticking to full spectrum gummies with high amounts of CBD and low amounts of D-9, versus delta-8 products. If you want a Delta-8 like experience with lower anxiety risk and relaxation that gives some intoxication, but want the safety of FS CBD, then opt for an edible that includes at least a 1:2 ratio of THC to CBD, such as 10/20 gummies. That’s my advice. Thanks for listening.

  • As someone who used to smoke regular pot, I have enjoyed switching to Delta 8. I get my product from one source now, because I haven’t found any other that provides consistent product. I even went to a Dispensary to purchase “Medical Marijuana” and it was basically THC A and not THC 9. This was sold and marketed as the SAME thing! I wish I could just grow my own.

  • The onlydifference between delta 8 and delta 9 is that delta 8 has 1 less molecule, it’s just a molecule that was removed from delta 9 its not a synthetic cannabinoid that would be something like k2. Its still the same plant with a missing molecule. And the difference between the high is that delta 8 high feels like theres something missing and its more calming and causes less anxiety than traditional delta 9. But then there is also delta 10 and delta 11, extra molecules added to them now idk what those extra molecules are so maybe those could be a little different. Then there is THC-O-ACETATE which when you have it in edible form and the delta 9 variant of THC-O, it is considered to be psychedelic weed (I just noticed your study was accurate to my information)

  • I tried a delta 8 vape pen when I visited North Carolina because reg thc wasnt legal. it def mimics a regular high in a way, but it just feels wrong. it made me feel metallic with a cheap artificial buzz in my head. It’s not even close to the spiritual clarity delta 9 brings. maybe I should have tried an edible, but I wasn’t too impressed. probably won’t try again.

  • i smoked delta 8 carts for a little over a year and stopped recently because i started noticing my body is starting to produce a lot of phlegm, not sure if it’s related or not, but now i’ve been doing research and i’ve been really scared for weeks now that i’m gonna get cancer. i’m done with delta 8, this shit has really fucked with my head and it genuinely has led me to believe that i’m gonna get cancer. i’m losing sleep over it.

  • Delta 8 is less potent than thc and could be less dangerous if it wasn’t prepared so differently. It must be chemically converted from thc or cbd and it requires acids and solvents. These products are usually 3rd party tested, so you should always look at those before use and never vaporize thc oils in vape pens.

  • Your agenda feels questionable. You basically said “Boo! Delta 8! OOOooooOOOhhhh!” You didn’t even offer suggestion that anyone getting relief from D8 should maybe discuss current research into alternative treatments (with their physician(s)) to avoid the pitfalls of dealing with the pharmaceutical industry. You did point out that legalization and regulation seems to address “your” concerns….but you chose not to frame it like that. This feels like weak scare tactics. Kind of like you don’t have “our back” per se but the back of the billionaire old guard/opponents of the cannabis industry, and you use your title as “Doctor” to lend validity to your tactic… TL;DR = Your agenda feels questionable.

  • 3:53 Any material tested and found within any delta8 product is done so with lab testing, leaving out the lab results in this context (title, website content, etc.) is intentionally deceptive. This behavior coming from a doctor is extremely concerning as you should already know the implications of purposely mislabeled and misleading title text such as “Heavy metal, Lead, Mercury! Yikes!”

  • Marijuana is not addictive 50 years old I’ve stopped, & started it numerous times without any with drawls. This guy is pull in yawls leg. Why not tell the truth. These devils Don’t care about people. If they did care they tell you how addictive eating food is. Jesus went 40 days without eating. The 3 times a day is so you all die sooner. I eat once a day and sometimes skip the one time and you feel better. A lot better. The energy you have stored is better for you then new, or fast energy.

  • Holy shit thank you for making this article. I usually just smoke weed from a dispensary, but was short on money one day and heard about that delta 8 shit. I got some and was fine for a few days but today and yesterday I have felt extremely irritable, my thinking isn’t clear at all my chest has been palpitating like crazy. A bit of light headedness too. Threw the jar of it all away this morning and went to look up info if it’s not good and well…Thank you for informing us. <3

  • im craving delta 9 bad right now but all that i can get is delta 8. do you think i should get the real thing instead? here is what i dont get, 2300 cases of adverse effects is a extrmely low percentage of the humans consuming delta8 so if its dangerous should the number be instead hundreds of thousands?

  • Why would anyone want to buy Delta 8 when they’re so much delta-9 and full spectrum oils available in distillate form which are already decarboxylated I have gotten off of three different medications my blood pressure is perfect my sex life is increasing and my back pain is gone I’m a cancer survivor THC is a freaking miracle I take between 300 to 500 mg a day I’m the weight I was when I was 18 years old I work a young man’s job 38 hours a week after surviving that stinking cancer that almost got me I’m happier than I’ve ever been healthier and I owe it almost exclusively to cannabis and I wish I could go to the Mountaintop and scream to everybody and I still get eyes rolled at me by even family members who can’t believe that I wouldn’t want to be on those nasty medications that were rotting my liver

  • Calm down people, if you have smoked weed before the legalized states started up you have most likely smoked out of a can or smoked a old moldy roach or just simply had no clue where it came from All delta 8 products iv seen are lab tested and safe but the same people who bitch about delta 8 will have no problem getting falling down drunk evryday or pop a bunch of pills to treat their issues

  • I began smoking marijuana when I was 24 I’m 31 I quit because I’m in the process of joining the US Army, and I’m one of those that had CHS, cannabinoid hyper emesis syndrome after stopping, I can think more clear my vision is more sharp, my senses are stronger, i’ve never had anything against it until I quit and realize how it was affecting me and holding me back from doing what I know I could.

  • My background is pharmacy, and pharmacists actually have far more pharmacology classes as requirements than MDs do! Any expertise regarding actual pharmacology is a question for a pharmacist and NOT an MD. The title of this article is a lie. And at 2:20 he even contradicts himself, saying that delta 8 has an even better side effect profile than delta 9, which is TRUE and also how he reveals himself as a liar. Delta 9 is already one of the safest psychoactive compounds on the planet – not a dingle death ever. And if delta 8 is milder than THAT, which is true, then there’s ZERO danger in taking delta 8. I’ve been doing it myself for months. It’s also disingenuous to call it “synthetic.” It isn’t. The extraction process causes it to form, which means it isn’t naturally occurring in the plant, but this does NOT mean it’s synthetic in the same way the true synthetic marijuana was from several years ago that had such bad side effects.

  • The delta 8 market is absolutely flooded with trash products that have no real testing. Almost all delta 8 stores I have been in, the employees know nothing about the products or will outright lie about what is in the products. They will have flower on the shelves and when you ask if it has been sprayed they say “no, it is infused though”. The amount of irresponsibility is honestly kind of stunning as most of these stores do absolutely no research and sell products that have not been tested even for cannabinoids. I am all for legalization across the board because it would lead to regulation and studies on cannabis, as Canada is actively doing. I would be interested to see a study about the potential effects of cannabis on ectopic heartbeats which is why I quit smoking it in the first place.

  • Thank you. Everyone told me it is right from the plant and is safe. I’m not dumb enough to take their word for something like this. All other youtube websites are saying the same usually from a guy with blood shot eyes and a backwards hat and says dude alot.. you look professional at least and thank you this was very helpful I had my suspicions it was too good to be true.

  • So the water got a little muddy …maybe this is already been addressed in the over 2000 comments listed here. But at one point it sounds like he was saying that Delta eight and Delta nine are naturally occurring in cannabis, CBD plants and cannabis THC plants. But it’s the isomeric process of that makes it dangerous when they isolate it with delta eight and delta nine varieties. That being said, if they do not use the isomerization process then, I imagine there is a more natural way for delta eight and delta nine to be used correct?

  • A. Let’s compare the accidental deaths between ( gov approved) alcohol and smoking a dried cannabis flower. I’d guess a 1/100000000 ratio. B. Decades of being flat out lied to by our gov about cannabis itself. No cannabis deaths in JAMAICA??? C. The gov IS the AMA, always has been. Thus opiates prescriptions have k I’ll Ed millions. D. Some “by products” are dangerous in chronic & heavy doses but not dangerous in ” normal” uses.

  • I understand the concern about not knowing the lab method used, but as long as you’re buying from a reputable company (Exhale Wellness) there is no danger of the acids and lead (Pb). Also, if you have kids, lock that stuff up! I’m one of the old guys that Dr. Jack mentions. I can’t sleep through the night without “stimulation” and prior to Δ8 I was drinking a bottle of Belgian Ale every night before bed. Now, with Δ for sleep aid I feel MUCH better in the a.m.

  • 😂😂😂😂 💚No.💚 I spent my teens and early 20’s suffering and struggling and being over medicated by pompous shit heads that wouldn’t listen when I told them it was making things worse because they think their degree means they know everything about MY BODY. I’ve thrived since tossing out the pills and taking up the bong. I won’t go back. You guys almost killed me. I was nothing but a guinea pig and a paycheck. I’ve seen firsthand how dark and unethical the people in your field can be. And while I know you’re not all like that, let’s be real here, how am I supposed to know you’re not in some pharmaceutical company’s pocket? I don’t. But this feels like propaganda and that’s not a good look.

  • Don’t take the gummies…you’ll invite a demonic spirit into yourself…I tried a couple and I had hellish feeling/spirit..it’s not like regular pot…and had to start praying…and I thought how do I get rid of this awful feeling..and threw the rest of the package into the garbage ($65. down the drain!!!)

  • I’ve been saying it and I’ll keep saying it. Never buy bottom shelf if you’re buying any kind of drug/plant-drug that’s legal (probably true for illegal ones too) You get what you pay for and rn it’s the wild West days of derivatives. Spend the extra $5 and wait for it to ship to your house, don’t smoke the sketchy pre roll from the gas station a block down the road.

  • I can’t speak about the long-term side effects of Delta 8 but one warning I can give people is don’t do what I did if for some reason your vape pen stops working don’t take it apart and empty out the contents onto foil and light it because whatever else was in my vape once it got to boiling temp it exploded and burnt my face.

  • Fda also says this about vaping in which the whole deal was blackmarket thc catridges. Tennessee is one state thats fda apprved in a new bill so i strongly disagree. Iv been studdying thc/cbd for years..though i dont have a degree whoopy. I know multiple ppl taking delta 8 and none of those bs effects. It comes from cannibas. But whatever.

  • Thank you for sharing and spreading this information. We have all seen so many CBD companies, mostly the small shops as far back as late 2020 chasing the trend into Delta-8 THC, get high “medical license free” Vaping and smoking. It’s put such a bad name for CBD just by association alone. We just posted on our CBD Nature Wellness, X account 2 weeks ago about this matter concerning how we stuck to our core values and passion. To make a positive difference in health and wellness. So thank you again for sharing your knowledge and wisdom.

  • I’m not saying it’s good for you nothing that’s fun is. But it truly depends on what company you are buying from. Some unheard-of junk from a gas station by the register or a reputable company that provides lab results that you can even check to verify it’s not just some made-up make-believe lab. I’m a two-time cancer survivor that deals with permanent severe neuropathy so believe me when I say some of the pain medications I’m on are a lot worse then taking a reputable Delta 8 tincture.

  • “We won’t get into the weeds…” Nice! Thank you Dr. Jack! Great article about the negative side of Delta-8. While vape shops popping up on every corner want to sell us this “gentler sibling of Delta-9”, they leave out the part about Delta-8 being extracted with heptane or hydrochloric acid and other harmful chemicals, as opposed to the much cleaner/ healthier CO2 extraction method for other cannabis oils. Here’s another really informative article: youtube.com/watch?v=WJeRePj29aQ

  • This just confirms what I felt when I tried these different products I spent a couple of weeks trying to stop smoking marijuana and replace it with what I thought was weaker yet still natural versions of the plant but upon using these a couple of times I realized some thing was a mess. I felt weird confused just totally strange made me feel like I was getting the flu as well. Definitely felt like something was off about it and I Immediately discontinued it. Glad to know my instinct was correct. Thanks for the info!
