This volume examines English medium instruction (EMI) through a corpus-based approach, focusing on the use of different linguistic and pedagogical strategies in the classroom. The study focuses on the use of entertaining activities like Back-to-Back Drawing and The Human Knot to enhance communication skills. The constructivist learning model includes investigative activities for students and the development of social and educational communication channels. The study also discusses the role of verb valency in Croatian and Russian learning at B1 level, as well as the role of verbs with different complements on syntactic and morphological levels. Stefan Drljača, a goalkeeper from Germany, is featured in the study, which has a market value of €325k. The study highlights the importance of investigating students’ activities and developing social and educational communication channels in the EMI classroom.
