Can Men Read Tarot Cards Well?

This article explores the possibility of males being good tarot readers and the gender stereotypes surrounding divination. It discusses how males can bring a unique perspective and energy to tarot readings, providing a fresh and insightful approach that can resonate with clients in unexpected ways. The article also discusses the popularity of male YouTube readers like Tyler’s Tarot or Rich Lopp.

The stereotype has been that men are more feminine, usually Gypsy, but this is not the case. People of any gender can be competent and successful tarot readers, as they can initiate them into their true selves and create more well-rounded men. Tarot readings do not make individuals less of a man, but rather they initiate them into their true selves and create more well-rounded men.

A balance of masculine and feminine energies is also discussed, with some people believing that women have a special gift or intuition than men can ever have. However, in places where playing Tarot is a continuous tradition, it is often a “man’s game” played for stakes in public. Masculine and feminine gender characters in Tarot cards ultimately help bring the masculine and feminine energies into play.

In conclusion, there is no one type of person who can be good tarot readers or come for readings, as people of all ages and genders can contribute to the field of divination.

Are tarot cards against Christianity?

The Bible warns against sorceries, divination, soothsaying, fortunetelling, mediums, and spiritists. Tarot cards can be used for divination and fortunetelling, but they can also be used for meditation or exploring archetypes. The modern Tarot began as tarocchi, sets of playing cards and learning devices, and fortunetelling was not involved. Early Biblical mentions against such practices include not eating pork, trimming beards, getting tattoos, cutting hair, eating oysters, going to church within 40 days of giving birth, working on the Sabbath, eating fat, touching a goat, or selling land permanently. Some scholars believe these rules were put in place to prevent women from having an active role in spiritual leadership.

In modern American churches, an attitude against astrology is common. Genesis 1:14 indicates that God’s people are meant to use heavenly bodies as signs, guides, and portents. The practice of astrology involves using stars as signs, as the three wise men used this practice to follow the Star in the East.

Is tarot card reading true?

Early French occultists claimed that tarot cards had esoteric links to ancient Egypt, the Kabbalah, Indic Tantra, or the I Ching. However, scholarly research reveals that tarot cards were invented in Italy in the early 15th century for playing games, and there is no evidence of significant use of them for divination until the late 18th century. The belief in the divinatory meaning of the cards is closely associated with a belief in their occult properties, which was propagated by prominent Protestant Christian clerics and Freemasons.

From its uptake as an instrument of divination in 18th-century France, the tarot went on to be used in hermeneutic, magical, mystical, semiotic, and psychological practices. It was used by Romani people when telling fortunes and as a Jungian psychological apparatus for tapping into “absolute knowledge in the unconscious”, a tool for archetypal analysis, and even a tool for facilitating the Jungian process of individuation.

  • I have absolute respect for what you said here words can’t explain the RESPECT I feel and I can say even trust you because of that honesty of being able to care for ppl or the universe so deep you can say I don’t want you coming to me over and over and over and over I want to help you understand your place to take reigns of your life even if it costs you a few dollars lost. I stopped perusal tarot shoot a year ago but I tune into your website just to show support for you bc your a real genuine person and I seen the times the feeling hits you when you’re telling a huge group they are repeating the same cycle every reading then a year goes by and that group some may have had steps forward but the whole of the collective message repeats the cycle the whole next year. Cycles fuckin suck ass . I’m an aquarius who loves and feels for all humanity animals the whole world I also drive off of planting seeds for people and perusal them have epiphany moments and grow while leaving cycles. I don’t know what to say again words can’t explain just thanks from the soul cause that’s where your message struck me.

  • I only watch 2 readers…its been 2yrs and it really helped me a lot…even at start I used to watch many readers where at point I realised I should only stick with some…and it really helped me….even I stopped seeing their mail…just take is as guidance and not as life control…now a days I find these kind of tarot mails where they say, “you are on need/ this will happen/ it’s urgent to take guidance” then I’m like just shut up man!

  • I stopped perusal them awhile ago, I was in a low place and was looking for answers, I would watch them too much, I got my own cards and they never lined up with the readers and readers say take what resonates and leave what doesn’t but I’d make the shit fit regardless 😂 I stopped and now I watch the odd one here and there and pull my own cards now and then I believe in law of attraction and I make my own destiny and I don’t want the cards to get into my subconscious and play out like that so I try not to do it a lot Neville Goddard is who I listen to now and use my imagination to help me and action

  • i’m not even 5 minutes into this article and you’re so spot on. i’ve been thinking this for a while now. when perusal tarot you’re basically manifesting your future based on what the tarot reader says, therefore giving away all your power. thanks for cementing my decision to give up this addiction 😅🤍

  • You can say you don’t want to “feel influenced by anyone else”, but you know as well as I do that everything being ENERGY, we are all connected and therefore influenced by one another, whether we are aware of it, or have the intention toward it or not. You are not the only tarot card reader who takes a mentoring approach… It’s quite a broad generalization to imply that all tarot readers merely tell you what your future will be, offering no advice or guidance as to how one can manifest their own desires or alter the course they are on in life. It’s an uninformed statement, to say the least – but in light of your self-proclaimed ignorance regarding the content of other tarot websites, I can only blame myself for feeling disappointed. Those points aside, I agree with the overall message you present here – as far as the powerful pull that seeking wisdom and guidance externally can have, and the way it can keep you stuck in a loop if you lack awareness. I suppose I have a generalization of my own, which is that people get what they are looking for….meaning, anyone who simply wants to “be told” their future will be content spinning in circles. Those who are searching for more – searching for knowledge or truth or what it FEELS like to stand in their own power – often began the journey from their most challenging circumstances (relatable??). And in my experience, sometimes you just need a little proof of magic in the Universe….sometimes you just need to hear those synchronicities and feel like someone has a message just for you, to have the strength to keep going.

  • I’ve cut way back in perusal readers. Some websites seem manipulative. Leading watchers intentionally down sensational paths that leave us hanging. I find that most advise never really go anywhere. But there’s always the “hope” that something might actually come true. It got depressive and took me way off path. I also was way too gullible, doubting people’s loyalty without verifying the truth with those people and giving them the benefit of doubt. I now only follow readers who stay on path and don’t take me on a fantasy ride that doesn’t ever lead anywhere. Especially if they are giving me advise about others. I say bull hockey.
