Can Rituals Be Invoked By Ua Turnover Tactics?

This card is designed to prevent your opponent from Special Summoning monsters from their Deck, as their monsters were not shuffled into the Main Deck. It is useful when controlling monsters that require specific conditions or costs to be brought out, such as “Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning”, “Dark Armed Dragon”, and Ritual Monsters. The opponent can Special Summon monsters from their Deck up to the number of cards shuffled into their Main Deck.

Key monsters for special summoning with this card include “U.A. Rival Rebounder” during your opponent’s turn, and “U.A. Goalkeeper”. You can Special Summon this card by returning one “U.A”. monster you control to the hand, except “U.A. Goalkeeper”. If this card is Special Summoned during your opponent’s turn or Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 “U.A”. monster from your hand or Graveyard.

The “U.A. Turnover Tactics” do not force you to return your own U.A. creatures on activation, which can be a wise choice if you want to keep your monsters in the field. Shuffle as many monsters on the field as possible into the Deck, then Special Summon “UA” monsters from your Deck with different names from each other.

However, this can ruin your opponent’s set-up and cost them time and resources. You can Special Summon U.A as many times as you bounce. A ritual summon is considered a special summon, and you can ritual summon as many times as you want in a turn assuming you have the necessary monsters. Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. If you control no Ritual Monsters, you cannot Special Summon them.
