Do Satanic Rites Take Place On Halloween?

Halloween is a controversial holiday that has been associated with Satanists, but it is not historically considered Satanic. It is often associated with cults, witches, and satanic rituals where black cats are sacrificed. Halloween has also gained significance for Devil worshippers, who believe that October 31st is a day the Devil’s help could be invoked. Elementary schools in Ohio and New York are replacing traditional Halloween parties and parades with a “Harvest Festival” celebration.

However, Halloween has been rejected as demonic and pagan, subsumed into medieval Christian rituals, and accepted unthinkingly as harmless fun. Samhain, a pagan holiday focused on connecting with passed ancestors, is the source of Halloween’s spooky and gruesome association. For those who identify as Satanists or satanic occult members, Halloween is a great choice for those looking to honor the deceased and embrace the spirit of Halloween.
