Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, an American far-right radio show host and prominent conspiracy theorist, has been ordered to pay millions of dollars for spreading lies about the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre. A Texas jury awarded the parents of a child killed in the 2012 mass shooting more than $4 million in compensatory damages from Jones. Jones has been accused of being involved in the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 and the shooting of Arizona congresswoman Gabby Giffords in 2011.

I’m curious to know why Alex Jones backtracked, and started saying it was real. Was it bc of the lawsuits, or did it happen before? I can’t imagine the horror of having people claiming the parents were actors, and threatening them full stop. But to experience that on top of the absolute grief. Unbearable.
Having been through a mass shooting myself (Virginia Tech) real-life grief looks very different from what people see on TV and film. Most people are quite stoic in public and aren’t the sobbing wrecks that we’d assume they’d be. At least for me, night time was the hardest, when you actually had time to let your guard down and process what you went through.
As I was preparing to “pull the plug” on my 36 yo only child the nurse asked if I would want clergy to join us. Knowing how my brilliant, beautiful son felt about religion, I burst into laughter and told her that was the one thing that would surely get him up off that deathbed and back on his feet. The dear friends who were with me were laughing, too. In the middle of such profound grief I cracked a joke. Everyone laughed. Except my son who would have laughed the loudest of all. Then I went home and screamed for days. Almost 7 years later not one day has gone by without tears. Sometimes the sorrow builds. Sometimes it hits like a ton of bricks. I had to leave the grocery store a few weeks ago–a stray thought of him had gone thru my mind and I was gonna start sobbing so I left my cart and went home. Alex Jones is a piece of human garbage. My son is dead. Life is not fair.
I was owed $7k after a car jacking 6 years ago. I didn’t get a penny from it. The guy was called back to prison for non payment fir 3 weeks but was out in 6 days for some reason. The debt was wiped so we’ll never see anything. My kids still say they get scared when in a car and always lock the doors. Justice system sucks.
Considering people here are interested in law, and I’m just a normal person. Do you not still find it strange that he, at the end of the day, did not threaten anyone in only used words? Sure, essentially he hurt the feelings of people who lost loved ones. But again, they are only words and feelings are only feelings. And I’m asking this honestly, to someone who understands law… I understand that it is defamation, but in reality it is only words that he said in feelings that he hurt? Is that now illegal?
I can not summon up any forgiveness for that monster. He prolonged their pain and suffering beyond anything the world can imagine, and he enjoyed every moment by profiting from their grief with lies. He obviously never had that talk with himself, the one where you recognize the enormity of the unimaginable harm you caused and you beg for forgiveness and eventually end up in a cheap hotel room with a “friend” of your choice. I just don’t see the remorse….
The justice done on this case was horrible because this guy surely isn’t going to pay up what the court has ordered meanwhile he has made his life comfortable by putting those greaveing parents through immense torture. The level of evil in this guy but the narcissism to think himself as a hero will not stop
If a person actually followed the evidence and had any idea about how the letter of the law operates, you can clearly see this is a hit piece. This show only under scores how corrupt our system at every level, is. This is just more propaganda this show and others like it, keep us all divided and completely side step what is really happening to our 1st amendment rights. Everything that occurred in this mock trial and was criminal in everyway. Judge-hand picked and fully funded by sorros. Look it up. The deck has been stacked. Lawyer corrupt as well. How sad it is to be that easily fooled out of laziness or who knows…he provided in the amount of time the court allowed, but they lied and said he didn’t. Everything they said was a lie or twisted to make it to fit their lie. Both judges broke laws, both courts.(TX And cn.) So he claimed bankruptcy so discovery would be allowed so people could actually see how much he and his Co. Was worth. Do due diligence, get both sides of the story….don’t operate off of emotions and propaganda.
6:45 – this dad’s guilt experience is the exact opposite to me, because I have lost so many family and friends counting from about age 7 up to now (early 30s) that enjoying my child comes with a fear of loss as well, but if something were to happen, I would be feeling guilty for having been too fearful. The point is, there is nothing you could have done, they were safe there until they weren’t. It’s only the killer’s fault. Sadly thats what false flaggers cannot accept (it’s the same with most conspiracy theories, people rather believe in a secretive cult of power than the small chance a gun nut decides to attack you for no reason).
AJ was straight railroaded, it’s frightening. Day of SH everyone on social media was saying something felt off, with many saying it was phony for whatever reason. There were also several highly viewed articles (by review manify, sofia smallstorm, etc) about the SH conspiracy that were out and viewed by millions way before AJ even started going that route.
Fact of the matter is this: Alex Jones has never been bigger than he is now. Millions listen to what he has to say. Yes he has a billion dollar judgement against him, and the plaintiffs will be lucky to get anything post bankruptcy. 5 years from now, Alex will still be on the air and millions will still be listening to his analysis. Im not for or against him, just speaking facts.
The most disgusting part imo, is when Jones was on the stand, and he was basically trying to sell his products…..on the stand……in court……in front of those parents. These parents have so much more patience and compassion than I do, because I would’ve handled it in a completely diff way, nobody is going to trash talk my dead child and threaten to kill me. Period.
Alex Jones 🙌🙌🙌 I still believe Alex Jones over these actors. I say this in light of the recent court case because freedom of speech just cost him billions of dollars. Why would they have to go after Alex Jones that bad; if this shooting was the truth! They’re trying to shut him up because he stumbled across the truth! At first I was like everybody else. This is a tragedy for all these children but I also started to see through it and the court case made it more apparent!
I don’t understand how 24 hours after uvalde we got 3 hours of surveillance footage. A month after columbine we got cctv footage of inside that school . It’s been 10 years since Sandy hook and they still haven’t released a single image of Adam Lanza in that school . Show him in the parking lot,show him anywhere

I’ll never forget when I was confronted by a South American overseas student in 2016 (who was a nice person) pointing her finger at me and getting right in my face when I mentioned the lies perpetrated about Sandy Hook. I was stunned to realise she was defending those lies. It was a frustrating moment but didn’t boil over. That’s how far reaching this message was

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances? A man should be allowed to believe, think, and say what he wants to as long as it isn’t “fighting words” or yelling fire in a crowded theater. “Freedom of speech” was established to protect unpopular speech. Popular speech doesn’t need protecting because the consensus agrees and accepts popular views and opinions.
It’s crazy how many famous people I respect like Joe Rogan (I still love Rogan by the way) and engaged with Alex Jones (I assume since he recanted in 2018) since to me it was a liability to associate with him. Jones is right on many conspiracy topics, but the Sandy Hook damage Jones did overrides anything he was correct on when it comes to associating with him publicly at least. Jones and the public could have asked other obvious questions that would have clewrly shown the obvious, that kids that were once alive, are no longer. All I heard was Jones and others talk about actor conspiracies and judging the parents emotional behavior. That’s as loose as it gets when it comes to coming to a conclusion about something.
Accepting or refuting AJs opinion is one thing but mob violence, threatening individuals and inciting violence is wrong and the inciter and those who take sustained action should be held to account. So sad that these people believe they have the right to bully because of the voice of one man who is financially rewarded for his voice.

So long as Alex is held accountable for all of his crimes and attacks on those who lost loved ones, then I do not mind seeing his name from time to time in my suggestion feed(s). With that said and like with all harmful people, I do look forward to where his name is sweeped back beneath the rocks from where it had first crawled out from. theres a really interesting article about the sandy hook event on the odysee article platform that everyone should watch it covers many of the articles containing questionable elements that were on youtube before youtube covered them up. things like. 1) was the school even open that day … 2) where are the hundreds of children … 3) why were there so many actors involved … 4) why was there a sign that said “everyone must sign in” etc … etc …. etc
No other country is suffering school shootings. This year alone were already 257 school shootings in the USA. As I see it, there are two issues why Americans can’t have nice stuff. Number one is liberal gun ownership. Number two is abortion rights. There is a massive block of voters who only vote on those two issues and they vote anyone into power who’s campaign rides on those issues. America could be a great nation.
