Does Mst Chain To Mystic Mine?

Chains can be used to activate a spell card, such as Mystic Mine, by forming a chain link. When chained to Field Barrier, MST resolves first and destroys Mystic Mine. After MST has resolved, Field Barrier applies its protection and prevents other Field Spells from being activated.

Manually activating a Spell card forms a chain link, and the Spell’s continuous effects don’t start applying until that chain link has resolved. You can negate continuos spells, traps, and field spells by chaining them to Mystical Space Typhoon or using hieratic seals of heavenly spheres. Setting Mystical Space Typhoon can make your opponent think you have a Trap Card when you don’t, and when they finally try to destroy it, you can chain yours to come out.

MST does not negate, but you can “negate” continuos spells, traps, and field spells since they need to be on the field to resolve. Mirror force would still destroy these cards. Cards like “Black Garden” and “Closed Forest” do not start a chain.

When using MST on your opponent’s turn, you must set it first, but if you had set it, you cannot activate it on the same turn. MST does not negate the effect of a spell or trap card when activated, but it is used to destroy normally continous trap and spell cards. If you chain MST to Heavy Storm, it will destroy Heavy Storm and then the HS effect resolves and destroys the rest of the spell.

How to stop Secret Village of the Spellcasters?

The “Secret Village of the Spellcasters” is not a neutral entity; however, it can be neutralized without the need to cast a spell by establishing a new Field Spell over it.

Can fusion summon be negated?

Fusion Summons are performed using card effects, and the process occurs when these effects resolve. Negative cards and effects cannot negate the Summon itself, but the effect of the Summon can be negated, meaning no material is used and no Fusion Summon occurs. Some Fusion Monsters state “You do not use Polymerization” and specify the method in which they could be Summoned, known as Contact Fusion. In anime, visual depictions of Fusion Summons vary, but most generally show Fusion Materials or their cards being warped into particles or energy forms in a spiral direction.

Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V adopted a standardized version of this method for all Fusion Summons, with the portal consisting of blue and orange swirls of energy, referencing Polymerization artwork. Fusion Summon practitioners usually clasp their hands together when the monsters combine, mirroring the materials becoming one.

How do you get around Mystic Mine?

A player may choose to banish the Mystic Mine by utilizing the Cosmic Cyclone in lieu of destroying it.

Can you chain MST to secret village of the spellcasters?

The Mystical Space Typhoon can be chained to the Secret Village of the Spellcasters to destroy it, similar to the Royal Decree with “Dust Tornado”. However, the opponent cannot activate Spell Cards without a Spellcaster, as the MST doesn’t negate the activation of Secret Village. MST can only destroy a Spell/Trap on the field, and if the opponent doesn’t control a Spellcaster, they cannot use Spells. Chains resolve in reverse, so the answer to the first question is yes.

Can mst stop monster reborn?

The Mystical Space Typhoon card has the effect of destroying, rather than negating, the card in question. When the MST is linked to the Monster Reborn, the card is destroyed and a monster is summoned. Nevertheless, the spell card is activated, and the effect is resolved. In order to negate the activation or effect of a spell or trap card, it is necessary to possess cards that are capable of negation. Mystical Space Typhoon and normal trap cards are of the same spell speed (spell speed 2).

Why doesn’t MST negate?

It is imperative that Continuous Trap Cards, Continuous Spell Cards, Field Spell Cards, and Equip Cards be positioned face-up on the field in order for their effects to be fully realized. The destruction of these cards, even in a chain, renders them unusable.

Can you negate the activation of Mystic Mine?

Monster effects chained to Mystic Mine’s activation resolve before its effect is applied. Tornado Dragon can destroy Mystic Mine if chained to its activation, while Borreload Savage Dragon can negate its activation, causing it to go to the GY. How does Mystic Mine win?

The Mystic Mine Burn is a classic deck designed by Jeff Leonard to inflict burn damage using cards like “Cauldron of the Old Man”, “Wave-Motion Cannon”, or “Final Countdown”. The deck’s history is influenced by game mechanics, changes from the “TCG” or “OCG” Forbidden/Limited List, or years of neglect. The deck relies on “Mystic Mine” to shut down opponent interaction and inflict damage. However, as of December 1, 2022, “Mystic Mine” is banned in both the TCG and the OCG, making it no longer playable. The deck’s history is a testament to its evolution and the importance of support and neglect in preserving classic decks.

Can mystical space typhoons be chained?

“Mystical Space Typhoon” does not need to target the card it is chained to when chained to another card, unlike Counter Trap Cards. Continuous Trap Cards only apply as long as they remain face-up on the field. If “Mystical Space Typhoon” is chained to “Dragon Capture Jar” so that “Dragon Capture Jar” is not on the field when its effect is resolving, do not apply its effect and do not shift all Dragon-Type monsters to Defense Position. Activating a card cannot be done if the card’s effect cannot be applied, and it cannot target itself when activated.

Why was Monster Reborn banned?

The card in question does not present any notable disadvantages or advantages.

  • I actually tried mystic mine and added a twist Not only did it have burn and tokens but it also had cards to attack directly with equip cards and armory call It actually wasn’t too bad and made the time in locals, I came in second only to thunder dragons and was actually quite surprised that I didn’t get the floor mopped with me

  • I will play the devil’s advocate and say that I LIKE spell minning cave, because is one of the very few cards that actually can counter overpowered archetypes, it goes pretty well with the spirit monster deck i run in duelingnexus, and the dudes who complain on it are nothing but posers that are angered when their decks aren’t running in automatic…i mean, i can imagine the face of the dude i’m fighting when hino-kagu-tsuchi force him to drop his/her entire hand without his/her archetype monsters being able of stop it…not all of us likes to play sky strikers, zoodiacs or all those other archetypes…

• I think that the only good thing to come out of Mystic Mine for me was that it convinced me to run Abyss Actors in Locals for the easily-recycled Rise of the Abyss King that can’t be negated if I control a high-level Actor. Every other experience I’ve had with the deck has probably given me some form of terminal cancer.

  • I don’t think Combo deck players or board set up players realize that control or ramp deck players prefer slower games and that super fast decks that have 20 minute turns are very unhealthy for the game. Not saying mystic mine is the most healthy either but being honest, I’d much be forced to scoop because of Mystic mine instead of waiting god knows how long before I realize a unbreakable board is before me. Both plays are very rude, one is more optimized, that being Mine.

  • I know 2+ monster that can out this. Not sure if monsters that are unaffected by card effects can attack however. Regardless, they aren’t generic enough. The other options are S/T cards that either burn/deck out opponent faster or prevent effect damage from being taken altogether. You don’t have to rely on backrow removal all the time. Siding cards that remove your own monsters from the field is another option. But seriously, no one sides these cards. You’d have to be a player that mains Torrential Tribute or Kaiju Slumber.

  • sure this deck is cancer, you guys are wayyy overhyping it though it got a few tops here and there in the ocg, but it’s not some tier 0 monstrosity that’s going to destroy the meta, it’s easy to side against and it just straight-up loses going second to salamangreats (yes, I know he won against them in the article, but he was playing against a guy who just clicked buttons randomly and had no idea what the deck does, missing his chance in both games to set up roar/rage even though he had the combo) even if it did get super popular, it’s easy to side against (spell/trap removal, denko, and if you want to target this deck super specifically, spell canceller/magic deflector), and you’re much more likely to draw your outs since this deck kills you pretty slowly it’s probably going to be a rogue contender that’s an absolute nightmare to play against though, so I’d ban it if it was up to me, but even if we have to live with it for a while it’s not the end of the game
