What is the downside of Straight Talk?
Straight Talk, an MVNO, faces data deprioritization, which affects its data speeds due to fluctuations in total bandwidth usage. When congestion occurs within T-Mobile’s network, high-speed data given to customers is slowed down to allocate more bandwidth to T-Mobile’s customers. This congestion is most common in big cities like New York City, Washington, D. C., Chicago, and Miami. Less populated cities and rural areas are harder to predict congestion, as festivals, concerts, and sporting events often cause congestion. This makes it difficult for customers to access their phones during these times, as they may experience difficulties accessing their data during these events.

Straight Talk offers a 30-day service period for all service plans and service cards, with the option of replenishing the account by purchasing a new card every 30 days.

Nevertheless, user reports indicate the potential for problematic experiences. To submit a report, users are required to select the option that best describes the issue they are experiencing and provide feedback.
What company took over Straight Talk?
Straight Talk, now part of Verizon, will continue to offer wireless service on VoLTE-ready phones until November 23, 2024. VoLTE is the current network standard, offering features like clearer-sounding calls, web search, GPS usage, and improved battery life. If your phone doesn’t support VoLTE, you may face connection issues like dropped calls and poor reception, leading to total loss of service and inability to make or receive calls, including emergency or 911 calls. Some features may only be available for smartphones.

This is a song that describes when i was in the third grade in Clovis NM in 1963. Pam Magee gave me a message that told me, she loved me. Sad thing my father was transfered to Nellis AFB in las vegas. I loved her then and I love her still. Sad thing is I never saw her again but I still love he still.
George Strait is living proof that real country music can still be saved and be made. Today’s “country” singers really need to step the Hell back and go back to country’s roots. People say, “It’s music. Music changes.” Yeah, well Bluegrass hasn’t really changed since it’s creation in the 1940s. But country…country is dying because it’s changed so much. And although the country genre will always be around, country music might not. George Strait won’t be around forever, and when he leaves, I hope to God country music doesn’t leave with him…
I just wrote Bubba on twitter. 😊 about 20 years ago there was a tack shop in Stephensville ( Royce and Karen I think). They were trying to get the kids to meet. ( Canadian girl in a red silk oriental gown) they showed you her picture. It didn’t happen because she got Hodgkins. You sent this song thru Karen, for her to have just before it was released. There was no way to properly thank you until now. ❤😊
I never saw the end in sight; fools are kind of blind. Thought everything was going alright, but I was running out of time. ‘Cause you had one foot out the door, I swear I didn’t see But if you’re really going away, here’s some final words from me. Baby, write this down, take a little note to remind you in case you didn’t know, Tell yourself I love you and I don’t want you to go, write this down. Take my words, read ’em every day, keep ’em close by, don’t you let ’em fade away, So you’ll remember what I forgot to say, write this down. I’ll sign it at the bottom of the page, I’ll swear under oath ‘Cause every single word is true, and I think you need to know, So use it as a bookmark, stick it on your ‘frigerator door, Hang it in a picture frame up above the mantel where you’ll see it for sure. You can find a chisel, I can find a stone. Folks will be reading these words, long after we’re gone. Oh I love you and I don’t want you to go, baby write this down.
This is true country. I’m only 12 and I listen to this instead of being like all the other 12-14 year olds and rotting my brain with suck nasty music. I wish country today was like this still but it’s not. A couple days ago my sister and I were listening to country and then out of no where a song comes on and they were talking about 2pac and 2chainz. We were like what the fudge cycles man!!
I used to listen to this on VH1 Country when it first came out. Every time the article would come on, we’d crank the TV way up and dance and sing, even laugh because it made us so happy. Ever since she passed away at age 46, every time I hear it, it brings tears to my eyes. Brings back good memories. Thanks George. RIP Carolyn Rasmussen.
My daughter’s favorite. Liss, I hope you are listening to this in Heaven. I miss you so much and listening to George, reminded me of you. Remembering how you sang along in the car. How you giggled if you goofed up some. You were always so much fun and thank you for inviting me to go with you on your trips. Love listening to George now… Love you forever!
Wow, this brings back good memories. This was shot in 1998 in Tampa as part of the George Strait Music Festival. I was part of the crew and actually did the final edit. It was cool because it was simulcast in HD over the web. We told the crowd that George would perform this song several times so we could get different shots and angles. It was funny because Kix Brooks would walk around the daytime festivities in desguise. Only the crew knew LOL.
This came out not long before my husband died of kidney disease. He drove 90 mph across town for me to hear it. He said it was me,us because I always wrote him notes and poems. 17 years later and it still pulls emotions out of me, now that’s what a true country classic does!! Long live George Strait!!
I am a Bolt driver in Thailand (similar to Uber). I picked up two elderly gentlemen from The US who were on vacation here in Bangkok. I was playing this song on my mp3 player. They were amazed that there is a George Strait fan all the way here in Bangkok, Thailand and left me a very generous tip. So, Thank you Mr. Strait.
I lived in kentucky when i was younger and went to school in a very small town i was 16 and asked my friend at the time if she wanted to go on a date to the movies. She lived down in the hollors and she always wore flannel shirts or overall to school. She was a simple farm girl ❤ always in the dirt like me working on the farms. That saturday comes and my mom drives me over to her house and out walks my date❤. She had on her best sunday dress with her hair done up looking absolutely gorgeous❤ the ride to the movies i just kept looking over at her in disbelief i fell in love and couldnt even talk to her😂. She smelled of strawberries and her hair was litterally flowing in the wind as if i was perusal her in a movie. I cant put it into words how beautiful she was. She was such an amazing girl with the kindest heart and a smile that you never forget. We had a amazing time. we dated for 6 months and Sadly she passed away in a car wreck on her way to school. It was the most painful thing i ever went through. She was the love of my life and still to this day i can still see glimpses of her dancing in the field with strawberry scent filling the air like she is next to me. Sorry got me emotional😢 this song was definitely her
This comment section sounds like one person with multiple accounts having the same issue with new country about how great country music used to be. Y’all sound repetitive as hell, country music isn’t declining in quality nor will it ever. It’s just your nostalgia getting the best of you. People will saying the same things about new country, that you say about old country, 10 years from now. It’s just the way it goes
The Challenge with OLD vs NEW music… even is the OLDER music is better, someone needs to be able to make MONEY while the music is being played. If you buy the music and then replay the old CDs or worse pirate the music, the musicians lose out, I mean new listeners are listening to it, but the musicians who created the music are not getting compensated right? I dont know the fix, I just know it is somehow broken… George is the man, love his music.. I wish these articles could be remade in HD…
