Does The Amulet Of Mighty Fists Work With The Bigger Magic Fang Stack?

The text explains that magical bonuses can only be obtained from one or the other, not both. If the gauntlets are considered a weapon, the amulet won’t apply to attacks made with them, and enchanting the fists won’t apply to unarmed attacks. However, using Greater Magic Fang to give up to a +5 enhancement bonus to unarmed strikes and the Amulet of Mighty Fists to give up to +5 in special bonuses (not enhancement bonuses) is possible.

The text also discusses the issue with the logic of using Magic Fang and Amulet of Mighty Fists. Magic Fang cannot bypass damage reduction aside from magic, while Amulet of Mighty Fists grants +1 enhancement bonuses on attack and damage rolls. The spell can affect a slam attack, fist, bite, or other attacks. An amulet of mighty fists does not need to have a +1 enhancement bonus to grant a melee weapon special ability.

The text also discusses the construction requirements for crafting a craft wondrous item, such as an amulet of mighty fists. The enhancement bonuses do not stack, and the highest bonus would apply. The text also discusses the possibility of adding properties like Flaming, Shocking, Corrosive, and Morphing Necklace of Natural Attacks to the Amulet of Mighty Fists +5 for 150.

In addition to the enhancement bonuses, the text suggests that the Amulet of Mighty Fists can also be obtained with Greater Magic Fang + Permanency. This allows for more enhancement bonuses to be granted to attacks and special abilities.

In conclusion, the text highlights the importance of understanding the rules and construction requirements when using magical bonuses.

  • Interesting build. But from practical view point, I think thath playing drovier druid and having 2 – 3 other animal companions will ultimately be stronger trip party. Sharing aspect of the wolf with entire party is quite hilarious. But I guess if you wanna shapeshift yourself you can do something like what is shown in the article :). There is one modification you want to do, if you don’t want to be lawful neautral, you can just be any other neutral and pick barbarian instinctual warrior instead of monk for WIS to AC, although I think monk will be a stronger choice, due to defensive feats P.S. You had trouble tripping the Derakni in the article, because it has 4 legs. Anything with more legs than two gets a lot of bonuses to CMD in this game 🙂

  • I guess I am a roleplayer by heart because these min/max dip builds are a complete turn off for me. I mean in what fictional reality would a Monk, just randomly decide he wanted to be a Witch but got tired of that I guess and found out he had a sorcerous bloodline and feed off of berserker rage but then decided tree hugging was they way to go? Honestly what I want to see is character builds that are a “Story” that makes sense in some way form or fashion consistent with the fiction setting Pathfinder is set in. Those are interesting builds and much more challenging because you can’t just dip willy-nilly into whatever you want to make you powerful or allows you to game the system to most. To each their own I guess but it seems like almost no one actually puts together “roleplaying” builds which is disappointing.

  • Personally I really like shape druid. A ton of fun to play. The only problem I have with the shapeshift druid is the super high AC enemies. I mean you have a ton of damage, but your attack rating is kinda lacking. Hitting reliably 80 AC as shapeshifter is close to impossible, unless you have fine tuned mercs to support you… I hope I am wrong on this one, but without brown fur transmter I just see no way in reaching the much needed +75 to hit…

  • Thanks for a great build mate. Since Im sick to death of doing lawful just to get that monk dip (especially when RPing as a druid, one with nature blabla), how do you fancy my idea of going instinctual warrior double dip instead? Even disregarding rage, some very strong bonuses tbh. Wis to initiative, wis to ac, stacking movement speed, cheeky uncanny dodge. And I feel like its very solid in terms of RP with both druid and mutation warrior

  • Few tips: * if you think that animal companion could not use scrolls, don’t think, just add points to use magic device and unlock best personal buffs in the game for your companion * it possible to trigger leading blades more than one time per round * the same with elemental barrage * riding you animal companion is a good choice, because monsters focus on animal companion and not the rider * if you not playing solo, it’s not worth to invest in team work feats… Just made one of the group as skald or inquisitor with ability to share team work feats * mythic charge, leading strikes, elemental barage counts in critical damage
