I’m playing this modpack on a server with my friends, seeing your approach to things and comparing them to the way we’re doing it is a fun way of finding alternatives/optimizing our own farms. For example, we’ve been using a harvester pylon from the pylons mod for our essence farms, but the scythe allows for a much bigger plot to be harvested at once. Definitely worth considering! Fun fact, LaserIO is the fastest way to transfer items in current MC allowing transfer speed of up to 9 x 64 items per tick, however u would need 8 node overclocker and 36 card overclocker cards to achieve that speed, that being said how the laserIO works is if u have multiple diffrent items in low quantity it will still pull out items only from one slot and count it as a stack of them, so if u run for example a very fast mob farm, you would probably had to invest quite a lot to make laserIO pull the item out, in my testing on ftb skies I needed 4 upgraded fully item cards to pull out the loot from my mob farm (after filtering out armor and other unstackables) however just one pipe from pipez with netherite upgrade did the same job as it looks solely on the quanity.
So the only things I can suggest that weren’t brought up in the article are this. 1. Now that you have your first completed farm every insainium you make can be used directly on the farmland to transform it into insainium farmland. It both increases the speed of MA crops but it also will increase the amount of inferium essence you get by 350%. 2. IIRC the most efficient way to use the lilypads is having them directly touching the farmland they are supposed to boost. So try and have them set up before you get your other farms so you dont have to tear up most of your farmland. 3. MA growth accelerators “should” work incombination with the lilypads, but they have been changed to where all the tiers have the same effectiveness just go further away from the farmland its boosting. So IIRC it should be Farmland ->Lilypad/water -> Infer GA -> ect.. down to 64 blocks with insainium farmland should be as close to instant growth as you can get in MA. Yes Bees are faster with the Omega upgrade per space allotted. But where you are in the pack now bees are not going to bee as viable.
you mentioned that the modular router wont use a watering can due to being disabled but on the playthrough i did i found it actually worked in the mining dimension, just be careful if trying it since my world did have crash issues a few hours after i got everything set up which i cant confirm it was from the watering can but may be due to how much was being produced and moved per tick its definitely a possibility
I tried to get this to work but it wouldn’t work for me. Even went and opened my game to Lan and clicked the Purple Gear and allowed fake players, didn’t work. Tried using Create mechanical harvesters, but they would break the mystical agri seeds. Ended up using a Harvester Pylon from Pylons, with a supremium hoe harvests a 9×9 area but is pretty cheap, and it auto collects to an inventory above, so no Advanced Item collector required. So this is a work around for those that can’t get the Modular Router to work.
in the article you never showed how to get certain items from the crafter to the individually sorted drawers. for some reason the insanium, when done crafting, doesn’t leave the crafter and doesn’t get auto sorted into the drawers. i tried setting up an extract filter for insanium but it didn’t work. are you able to explain? i cant find a article anywhere on this specific issue
Hopper botany pots with item pipes are the best way to start mystical agriculture. With a bit of clay, iron, wood, and redstone, you can start your farm, letting it run without any intervention while you buold up its size snd work on other mods is the easiest way to work it. Start off with a few hopper pots, while you work on your silent tools/armor, then when you are comfortable in tge caves and can find a lot of prosperity stone and collect it, then you can start building up the levels, and getting the seeds for the resources that you use often.
hey! you can use the harvester pylon with an echest on top, and then place a slab on top of the echest, with the modular router placed on top of the slab, set to interact with the slab below it. then put a filled supremium water bucket in the modular router buffer. also, im sure you already know, but you can also make insanium farmland. along with an unhealthy amount of lilypads. youll have 200k inferium in no time😂
