I few years ago when I had reached an unbarable peak of pent up energy in my body, I started to use my palms to release that energy. It was a time of much supernatural insights and events for me. A very strange period of my life. I envisioned a green laser beam shooting out straight from my palm chakras that would cut through any stored energy in my body as I swept my hands slowly and with focus over the place where I felt the energy. I would hear crying in my head and sometimes laughter and other noises as the “laser beam” made contact with the point of the energy. I believe the enrgy were spirits that inhabited my body after I had formed them by supressing my emotions for so long. Because when I had released and energy from my body the “darkness” of that spirit seemed to want to attach itself to me again with even greater tenacity. So I kept “shooting lasers” not just on my body anymore but at the entities around me aswell. I see the “laser” as a sunbeam, or an instrument of the light that I have been blessed with. And I find it interesting that the Jedi from the movie star wars have green lasers since they are the guardians of peace and light and use “the force” with their hands. Another interesting note is when you take a picture towards the sun you can see a green dot on the screen, that is the lightbeam or sunray hitting the lens and its light is actually green. I realised these things after I had started using this gift myself and noted that the intuitively green beam I envisioned was probably light focused in a ray coming from my palm chakras.

I did three sessions already and it realy helped me. I had a trigger finger and the doctor told me that the only option is to do surgery. For some reason I choose not to do it. I was introduced to reiki healing in the form of a group sound session years ago but I didn’t think it was very healing for me at the time. It was more relaxing than anything. I tried reiki healing again recently in a personalized session. I was shocked that I could actually FEEL something during the session. Tingling sensations in areas, heaviness in my chest getting lighter, chills though out my body, then warmth. I closed my eyes for some parts of the session & was actually SEEING different colors during some parts of the session. I felt light immediately following the session. I’m not sure if it was because I was more open to the healing but I felt a noticeable change. I hope it can help me through this brain fog I’ve been feeling lately.

I noticed a cat at a session. I had a client that had 2 cats. As I was giving her a treatment the cats came out of hiding and jumped on the table. She said ” they never do that” Somehow they knew something was happening that they could identify with. I have also had my dogs lay under my table during a session. Very calm and peaceful. I’m a Reiki Practitioner and I remember my first time to try it on someone, a friend. I did everything right, following the steps. I did this on her bed because she was not well. When I was done, she slept for a good 24hrs. They woke her up to eat but then she would sleep right after. I was confused and wondered if I did anything wrong. Apparently, she hasn’t been sleeping well because of GERD. She is better now. I learned this as an act of service for others. I have not received any payment for my services. Some people would send over food or fruits if they want. Life is better when we share our gifts.
Reiki does not say that the practitioner will treat a physical disease. It’s more of working on your aura n your chakras. I have nothing but positive things to say about Reiki. I am new to it and after a 15 minute session, I left feeling relaxed and like I had slept for hours. The Reiki instructors are kind, gentle, and welcoming. It’s a human connection which is so deeply needed these days. You can also literally feel the energy from the instructor or master even when they are not physically touching you. It’s worth a try!
It seems a bit odd to me to jump straight to some religious argument from this beautiful article of people describing how much human touch and connection can heal a person. As for scientific evidence: it is a fact that a newborn child could have all its basic needs met and still die if it is deprived of skin contact. Is it so hard to believe that in today’s age of distance, where we are physically isolated from everyone but our closest friends and family, a little touch could have positive effects on people? Creating a safe space for people to rest in awareness, safety and comfort is a very noble thing to do. As humans, we could always use more connectedness, gentleness and love.
Lisa is not posessed. i, today, went trough a reiki session. She, believes, what she, does is right. i am not feeling so well, feeling like my stomach is gonna burst out and explode. Love from Ireland. I have recently learned Reiki, and received my Shoden attunement. It is so powerful and calming for me. I practice it on me and my family, and it’s fantastic. I feel as if I can now websiteize my energy for the good and healing. I am really grateful and feel blessed that I have unlocked this skill in me.
For those doubters, the human body is a vessel of energy. One atom being split destroyed a city! The human body contains countless atoms. All types of energy flow through the earth, through our feet up our legs into our heart n upward to our head. The blocking of this energy from emotional trauma cannot be unblocked by pills. But can only be unblocked by pure energy which removes the emotional blockage allowing the energy to flow once again. That’s why people experience memories of events as the energy moves again. That’s why they shock you when close to death the energy has stopped moving and the use electricity to start the human heart again. We are complex beings and unfortunately western science refuses to acknowledge our true nature but seeks to profit from our ignorence.
What’s the difference in natural healing vs modern medicine? If you see natural remedies as sinful, doesn’t that mean modern medicine is sinful? I’m a Christian and I believe in both. Have you ever heard of the placebo effect? Is that a sin too? I’m not trying to argue with anyone. I’m just looking at it from both sides.
I first had a Reiki session 2 years ago. I got a severe cough and I thought I’ll die. I took a lot of medication but it was not working. My Reiki Master healed me through distance Reiki. I uncovered some past issues. I was able to forgive my Papa and my ex-boyfriend. I was healed after the Reiki session. After that, I decided to study Reiki. I’m now a Reiki Second Degree and I incorporate it in my work as an HR. My co-workers are so happy. Thank you Lord for the gift of Reiki 🙏 Edit:. I saw over a dozen doctors, was put on numerous medications. My hormone levels were a mess, my health was in the shitter. I kept seeing demons during episodes of spring paralysis. After one Reiki session the transformation was miraculous. I’m not the type to get this kind of treatment but after years of pain and no solutions you’ll try anything. I felt like an Angel healed me. The story is so much deeper, want to share it all. I effin cried I finally felt so much better. Absolutely amazing.

Monday I was talking to a kid at work who I knew had leg pain. He never told me which leg it was. While talking to him my right leg went completely numb, then my knee started to hurt. As I’m swinging my right leg to get feeling back into it I asked him which leg of his hurts. He said his right leg he tore an ACL while wrestling. The pain lasted for an hour on my leg. Tuesday he tells me he didn’t feel any pain all day. Last night while I am standing next to 2 older women and I start feeling pain in my left ankle. They ask me what’s wrong and I tell them. The lady standing next to me said she broke her left ankle while riding a horse back in 7th grade but has never told anyone about it. She even showed me her ankle which was clearly swollen when compared to her right one. I went to tell my friend what happened and all of a sudden I start getting bad stomach cramps and feeling nauseous. She tells me she hasn’t been feeling good. From the stomach pain I asked if she was pregnant and her eyes got real wide and she did this 😳🤫. She apparently hasn’t told anyone about it but she told me she had a miscarriage on Tuesday. After I started to feel nauseous her nausea went away. So something tells me I’m an empath… How do I know all this about people who haven’t told anyone their issues?

For all of you guys saying this is not real: You can just look up any scientific peer-reviewed study from any medical journal and see there is a vast amount of scientific proof that reiki really works. You just refuse to accept that reiki works because it does not reflect your “scientific” worldview, but yes, there is a lot of real scientific proof that reiki works. That is why it is frequently used in hospitals around the world as well, as a complementary treatment to other healthcare. Do you really think doctors and other healthcare professionals would accept it as a treatment form in hospitals if there was no scientific evidence of its efficiency? Also, why do you feel the need to put down people like that? What do you gain from that?
Never use or give reiki this is not spiritual they don’t know what exactly spirituality is, all these things were done naturally in the past like SATYUG when they were naturally pure and had the ability naturally but these people nowadays use different mantras to open chakras, our body and mind are not pure enough to receive universe’s pure energy all this energy is way too pure for us to get. There are weird secrets in this reiki which are being misused by many all these dumb people spreading this knowledge and giving it to anyone and everyone First know spirituality completely They play with people’s karmic account. Half knowledge is really dangerous. In the name of helping many people are interfering with another person’s karmic account this physical body should be treated by physical means only nobody should try to be God and everyone should mind there own business. Dear people don’t just see everything on internet and by people and follow it blindly go into depths this is exactly opposite of spirituality and is almost like black magic which only heals. And this chord cutting, chakra opening everything is dangerous you don’t get any physical harm that doesn’t mean it’s not harming you it does interfere with your soul and it’s balance and it’s obviously messing up with your chakras. And we think we have found such a great gift.
I have someone who wants to know more about Reiki from a article! But there seemed no explanation about Universal Life Force Energy nor of the attunements. So…if I send him this, it will not make as much sense from what I have told him. Nice article. I did enjoy it. After reaching hours of meditation I came across a hard moment in my life due to drugs. I remembered I was crawling to move or even eat. But it started coming to my thoughts all the beautiful memories I had when I was meditating. I’m now only sober but I have reached a new skill. I feel I can heal anything and I would love to help people heal specially those who unfortunately have been try spiritual fights due to drugs. When I meditate I feel heavy when I finish as if my body is getting used to this healing energy.

It’s funny how we can heal each other through touch and energy sharing, but with Coronavirus we’re all social distancing so there’s not even hugs anymore. And wearing a mask takes away the ability to pass on a smile, which I think just a simple smile has the potential to brightens someone’s entire day. So I find it really funny (odd/peculiar/coincidental… Not lol funny) that with coronavirus, they’ve taken away our right to gather, our methods of worship/religion, closing gyms and places we would go to improve our physical health and body, touching/sharing a kind embrace, and smiles, etc. It might not seem like a big deal to some people, but I find it depressing and I think society in general has become more depressed through all this. I think there’s more to it than meets the eye. What do you think?
Any recommendations on how to introduce (in my case) my folks who think it’s all woo woo stuff? My dad is all science and trusts medical doctors ie big pharma while my mom depends on doctors and Jesus… I personally like to take in information from everywhere to find what works for me but I can’t even get my folks to eat more natural whole foods.
You know, I also heard of a form of healing where you put incredibly toxic substances on your skin to cure cancer. This article literally disproved the validity of reiki. Nobody gave facts, but instead talked about how they “feel.” The phrase “facts don’t care about your feelings” still applies to this. I get it, a lot of people are turned off to the field of science for one reason or another, but going to the other extreme to simply embrace the “I felt myself being healed” crap being endorsed in this article is absolutely insane. God gave you a mind for a reason and I can assure you it wasn’t to espouse this complete nonsense.
Edit: As of 12/12 I am now a Level II Reiki Practitioner. ✨ ✨ I am blown away, this is my calling. I feel it in my mind, body and soul. This puts my mind in a place of feeling at home. This is what I am supposed to be doing. I am a Real Estate Agent in the state of Kentucky. That is not my calling. Being an intuitive, empath and just having so much love for people, this is it. As a receptionist in a cork hotel, I met the lovely Mary Collins. She was a qualified physiotherapist but she worked as a reiki practitioner. I work with a colleague, I wont mention her name for confidentiality reasons. She performed reiki on me after an acute back injury. My understanding is that reiki is something that is opened up.

As a teacher I work to the principle that “Product knowledge” is a major procurement for the teaching of anything. When we come to the teaching of Reiki applying “Product Knowledge” is a big problem. With any of the many teachings of Reiki there appears to be no attempt to produce any evidence that is “major product knowledge” as a base within those Teachings.

So What Is Reiki? All this ‘short film’ says it feels good & you use your hands from energy. I already knew that. Okay so… it feels good and you use your hands w/energy but what is Reiki….? No history or where the energy comes from. Or why it works or what those bowls are for? I came in with an open mind but im more confused.
I love that articles are being posted about Reiki, but it’s also important to mention how one becomes a website for the Reiki ray. It only comes with attunements. This is how it first began in Japan. Dr. Usui is credited with the re-discovery and revival of this healing art. If one really wants to do Reiki, find a Master Teacher who is from the lineage of the founders of Reiki and requires attunements. Otherwise, it’s just a different form of energy work, not actual Reiki. I’ve found that there are those who claim to do Reiki but have never had an attunement and believe me, there is a significant difference. Of course, it’s not to say that they aren’t doing good energy work, because they are, it’s just not Reiki. 💚 I hope those that read this find the importance and know that I’m truly hoping for love and peace for all! 💛🌈 Walk in Beauty

PERSONNALLY but on here..i am looking at the benefits this practice has given people’s over everything.The negative comments actually speak volumes about the beings that put it out here…the vibe leaps off of the page as ones who are miserable&just mad!My advice to YOU all is to find something that works for YOUR peace(that is harmless to yourself&others)Reiki works for ME..sending peace&love out into the Universe..room for self improvement is one of the biggest rooms HONEYS❤
