I just recently discovered this guy. Timeless messages. Can’t believe he left us in 2005. I remember very well what the world was like back when he was a preacher. I didn’t know Jesus back then. I didn’t think things were that bad. Society has been in a rapid downward spiral since then. Come Lord Jesus, come.
This is what I’m struggling with, as I continue to try to find a new job. I keep quoting the Bible in my interviews because when they ask what my greatest strength is, I say Jesus. When they ask what my 5-year plan is, I say Jesus. Salvation and discipleship are 2 different things. If they werent then salvation would be faith plus works. The thief on the cross never became a disciple. He was given salvation. Many will say that wasn’t in the new testament yet. Christ is not restricted by time, but we are. Many people get confused when they are told that salvation is free and then start piling works onto salvation. Beware of the big churches that are most concerned about money. They will tell you that tithing is a must. Paul stated you decide for yourself what you want to give because we are not under law. Be careful of the Baptist teaching. They will say that tithing is still relevant because tithing came before the law, and was not wiped out. Show me where it says that in the new testament. GIVING is a new testament principle. What those big churches will do is make up lies so they can get your money. That sure helped didn’t it. Majority of those have walked away from Christ, but they still preach you must tithe, or God will get it anyway. I have been in a Baptist church that said that. The pastor said tithing was not a new testament principle and that was the only time he said that. The leaders probably told him not to say that anymore. We all need to read Scripture everyday day and pray. Jesus Christ is way more important that money or who has the best clothes or the finest cars and homes. Man’s heart is desperately wicked Scripture says. I understand that. Many will act like they never sin. I cannot say that.

It,s always amazing to me how Pastors who have big salaries and don’t have to work a job and live in the real world with real responsibilities tell everyone stuff like this “How to be a committed discipline of Christ” and other topics like it If they had to live like the average Christian they couldn’t cut it for s day!
Imagine him giving this message 10-20yrs ago. If it was “close” then, what would Adrian be preaching today. And yet how many churches today are still giving general sermons and refuse to make any eschatological comment. My own pastor and even our PhD professor SS teacher, will not bridge the topic for fear of those who hold contrary views will either vocally disagree or leave. SMH. This blessed my spirit before I attend my own church Sunday school and worship service this morning. I cannot wait to see Pastor Rogers in Heaven one day. He was the ONLY preacher I watched when I first became saved in September 1996, and still today even though he is not physically amongst us, I still follow the Love Worth Finding Ministry. Sadly many Christians don’t live as if we are in the last days! Look all around the viloence, corruption sex trafficking and drug epidemic. There are reasons Jesus has not come yet. Many prophecies were not fulfilled when he preached this. Today, wickedness is abounding as the love of many has waxed cold, we are in the falling away as hatred and violence has increased, many are denying Christ and want his name not to be mentioned anymore, the Euphrates has dried up where the king of the north will cross into Syria on dry land, and the world is turning against Israel. Fresh as if he spoke it today. I sure wish churches would preach the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The Bible says you are to “study to show yourselves approved UNTO GOD, (a part many leave out for some reason, a much higher standard) a workman who needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” When you stand before God will you be ashamed because you held back some of the truth as to not offend man? New Covenant Whole Gospel: How many modern Christians cannot honestly answer the questions below? Who is the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Who is the “son” that is the “heir” to the land in Matthew 21:37-43? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God’s Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. God is not now a “racist”. He has extended His love to all races of people through the New Covenant fulfilled by His Son’s blood at Calvary. The Apostle Paul warned against using “genealogies” in our faith in 1 Tim. 1:4, and Titus 3:9. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, As Christians, we are united by our faith in Christ Jesus. It is crucial to revisit the origins of the term “Christian,” first announced to the disciples who gave up everything to follow Jesus. Scripture reminds us that Jesus said, “Whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:33). He spoke of drinking his blood and eating his body, emphasizing the radical commitment required (John 6:53-54). Jesus himself had no place to rest, while even animals found shelter (Luke 9:58). His disciples faced hardship, seen as scum and homeless. Yet today, many amass treasures on earth, despite Jesus’ warning not to do so: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal” (Matthew 6:19). The Spirit of God dwells not in buildings but in truth and spirit: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). We are called to pray in secret (Matthew 6:6), study the Word (2 Timothy 2:15), and seek treasures in heaven, not on earth (Matthew 6:20). Yet, churches often turn away the homeless and poor while embracing the wealthy, even allowing them control. Denominational divisions grow, prioritizing human traditions over Christ’s love. Jesus warned of suffering and rejection for his followers: “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you” (John 15:19).

God hear my prayers. The last three years I’ve been struggling. Through my struggles I found Jesus he has carried me this far. So even as I struggle to support my children and myself I trust in you Jesus. Being a single mom things can be hard raising them alone. My husband is with God I miss him dearly. Both of my children are autistic. I started homeschooling them last year and they are now thriving. I also suffered a heart attack two years ago so I’m getting healthier everyday. As I struggle to pay my rent each month and as I struggle to buy groceries. I know God will make a way. Where there seems to be no way. He works in ways we cannot see. I have faith! God has not forgotten me. Faith First!
The last days to me is the Tribulation period, the last 7 years…. The Bible says before anything begins to end a great falling away must come first and the man of sin be revealed.. This guy needs to go back and study a little more. Jesus couldn’t come back until certain conditions where completed. First Jesus couldn’t come back until Israel became a nation. That happened in 1948. The Bible teaches that when this happens, to look up for our redemption draws near. Then, different prophies had to be completed. These prophies have happened throughout history. But All the prophies have happened together within a short period. When these have happened, then the only thing remaining is the Resurrection. Which can happen anytime. The spirit of the antic-christ has always been in the world since Christ. The one and only Real Antic-christ is most likely in the world now. Hi, Just to let you know, man has been living in the last days (Christian Age) since the Church was established in Acts 2. Read Hebrews 1:2. Also, the word antichrist does not appear in the book of Revelation and when it does appear like in 1 John 2:18 and 2:22 we can see that there are many antichrists or anyone that denies that Jesus is the Christ. Study your Bible to prove if what is being taught is scriptural.
Interestingly the devil who is the father of lies would not have to fight against JESUS CHRIST if JESUS was a lie. Neither would he fight to imitate the life of JESUS through the antiChrist. Satan would not need to exert that he is more powerful than JESUS if he truly was. He would just laugh at us Christians and go on his merry way.
