How Dr. Adrian Rogers Started His Daily Prayer Routine?

Adrian Rogers, a pastor and Bible teacher, believed that prayer is not a means to bend God’s will but rather finds and aligns with it. As Christians, prayer is our greatest privilege and service, yet it can also be our greatest failure. We often lack the desire to pray or know what to pray for. However, as sinful creatures, we have a natural inclination not to pray.

Adrian Rogers believes that our greatest need is to learn how to pray, as it unlocks heaven’s treasury. He believes that God delights in meeting every need and that by praying and supplication with thanksgiving, we can make our requests known to Him. In his sermons, he shared, illustrate, and enunciate the gospel of Jesus, inviting us to “come to Jesus”.

Love Worth Finding Ministries was founded in 1987 as a response to requests for tapes of messages by pastor and Bible teacher Adrian Rogers. Rogers was known for his evangelistic zeal and uncompromising commitment to the Word of God. He was one of the founders of Love Worth Finding Ministries, which began as a response to requests for tapes of messages from Rogers.

The great missionary movement of the early church began with fasting and prayer. Rogers preached one service each Sunday morning when he became pastor, and in 1977, the church added a second morning worship service and a worship service.

Dr. Rogers’ ministry became even more evident with the birth of Love Worth Finding Ministries in 1987. He was the founder and Bible teacher of Love Worth Finding Ministries. Today, we learned of the death of the great Bible teacher and Christian leader, Dr. Adrian Rogers.

With over 1. 5 million monthly listens, Daily Audio Bible has become one of the world’s biggest success stories. Hardin’s journey has led millions to a better understanding of God and the importance of faith in his life.

How did prayer begin?

The initial instance of prayer in the Old Testament is documented in Genesis 4:26, which describes the aftermath of the first murder on Earth. This event represents a pivotal moment in the development of prayer in the Old Testament.

  • “Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; 2 for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. 3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. 4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: 6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. 7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. 8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. 9 For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land”. Psalm 37

  • I just recently discovered this guy. Timeless messages. Can’t believe he left us in 2005. I remember very well what the world was like back when he was a preacher. I didn’t know Jesus back then. I didn’t think things were that bad. Society has been in a rapid downward spiral since then. Come Lord Jesus, come.

  • This is what I’m struggling with, as I continue to try to find a new job. I keep quoting the Bible in my interviews because when they ask what my greatest strength is, I say Jesus. When they ask what my 5-year plan is, I say Jesus. And it’s hard to accept the rejection but Jesus said “take up your cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24) and that means to raise up your cross high over your head, so that all can see it. If you’re a Christian and the people you know don’t know it, you’re doing something wrong and you might want to evaluate your salvation

  • Salvation and discipleship are 2 different things. If they werent then salvation would be faith plus works. The thief on the cross never became a disciple. He was given salvation. Many will say that wasn’t in the new testament yet. Christ is not restricted by time, but we are. Many people get confused when they are told that salvation is free and then start piling works onto salvation. Beware of the big churches that are most concerned about money. They will tell you that tithing is a must. Paul stated you decide for yourself what you want to give because we are not under law. Be careful of the Baptist teaching. They will say that tithing is still relevant because tithing came before the law, and was not wiped out. Show me where it says that in the new testament. GIVING is a new testament principle. What those big churches will do is make up lies so they can get your money. That sure helped didn’t it. Majority of those have walked away from Christ, but they still preach you must tithe, or God will get it anyway. I have been in a Baptist church that said that. The pastor said tithing was not a new testament principle and that was the only time he said that. The leaders probably told him not to say that anymore. We all need to read Scripture everyday day and pray. Jesus Christ is way more important that money or who has the best clothes or the finest cars and homes. Man’s heart is desperately wicked Scripture says. I understand that. Many will act like they never sin. I cannot say that.

  • ” make disciples of all nations ” a direct command of Christ Jesus! ( matheteusate ta ethme in the original Greek text. ) Luke 9:23 – ” If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must then deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me..” John 15:8 – ” By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and so Proove to be My disciples. ” Captain beloved, battle wounds were Thine// Let me not wonder if some hurts be mine// Rather O’ Lord, let my deep wonder be// That I may share a battle wound with Thee// Making disciples in the same manner as Christ Himself demonstrated, answers the prayer to the Lord of the harvest to raise up workers for the fields ripe unto harvest. Matthew 9:37-38. Putting feet into ministry not just butts in pews! Become a disciple in Christ, who witnesses of Christ as they make still more disciples through Christ! Acts 1:8, John 15:5, 2 Timothy 2:1-2.

  • It,s always amazing to me how Pastors who have big salaries and don’t have to work a job and live in the real world with real responsibilities tell everyone stuff like this “How to be a committed discipline of Christ” and other topics like it If they had to live like the average Christian they couldn’t cut it for s day!

  • Imagine him giving this message 10-20yrs ago. If it was “close” then, what would Adrian be preaching today. And yet how many churches today are still giving general sermons and refuse to make any eschatological comment. My own pastor and even our PhD professor SS teacher, will not bridge the topic for fear of those who hold contrary views will either vocally disagree or leave. SMH. The Greek reader notes how urgency and imminency are found in the epistles.

  • This blessed my spirit before I attend my own church Sunday school and worship service this morning. I cannot wait to see Pastor Rogers in Heaven one day. He was the ONLY preacher I watched when I first became saved in September 1996, and still today even though he is not physically amongst us, I still follow the Love Worth Finding Ministry. My late Pastor Benjamin Smith, Sr. (Philadelphia, PA – Deliverance Evangelistic Church) and Pastor Rogers were TRUE MEN OF GOD who preached and taught the Word of God, and their walks with the Lord and my fond memories of both are what keep me grounded and anticipating a joyous reunion in the New Kingdom!!!!! Maranatha!!!!

  • “They went out from us but they were not of us, for if they had been of us, They would no doubt have continued with us, But they went out that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” HAVE HEARD THIS VERY SCRIPTURE 3 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 DAYS – If you are wrong about Jesus, it doesn’t matter what you’re right about.

  • Amen on last comment!!!….when we’re looking for our Lord daily, with urgent anticipation we will share Jesus like never before!!!! We realize the time is at hand and don’t want anyone left behind. So we pray for boldness in sharing the gospel till He Comes!!! Praise God for messages by Adrian Rogers, so revenant for today. Can’t wait to see our Savior and meet men like Adrian who spoke truth without holding back!!! Use us Lord like you did Pastor Rogers!!!❤🙏🕊

  • Sadly many Christians don’t live as if we are in the last days! Look all around the viloence, corruption sex trafficking and drug epidemic. More people are lost and our youth is deceived into false teaching. Wake up church, preach The gospel and pray for our children and grandkids. Live for Jesus. Great message from Mr. Adrian Rogers.

  • 1But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. 2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good, 4traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!” 2 Timothy 3

  • There are reasons Jesus has not come yet. Many prophecies were not fulfilled when he preached this. Today, wickedness is abounding as the love of many has waxed cold, we are in the falling away as hatred and violence has increased, many are denying Christ and want his name not to be mentioned anymore, the Euphrates has dried up where the king of the north will cross into Syria on dry land, and the world is turning against Israel. We are closer than many believe. Come quickly Lord Jesus!!

  • Fresh as if he spoke it today. I sure wish churches would preach the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The Bible says you are to “study to show yourselves approved UNTO GOD, (a part many leave out for some reason, a much higher standard) a workman who needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” When you stand before God will you be ashamed because you held back some of the truth as to not offend man? Or will you boldly proclaim JESUS IS COMING SOON, BE READY!?

  • It’s looking like time is much shorter now. Just look at what satan is doing around the world. There is so much hatred, our government is going down the drain. Christians are being attacked, satan wants to wipe Isreal off the map along with the Jews. Please Jesus, be with us all, protect us, and come Lord. Call us home. God bless everyone. 🌿✝️🌿🕊

  • Ezekiel 24:14 I the Lord have said the word and I will do it; John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jeremiah 14:14 Then the LORD said, “These Preachers are telling lies in my name. I did not send them or tell them to speak. I did not give them any messages. They prophesy of visions and revelations they have never seen or heard. They speak foolishness made up in their own lying hearts. Jeremiah 27:15 For I have not sent them,’ declares the LORD, ‘and yet they are prophesying falsely in My name; therefore I will banish you and you will perish–you and the prophets who prophesy to you.'” And they will say; ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Not only will you need this information for yourself, but you want to share this with others. These are not fables, but Divine commands. Who to believe GOD or your Pastor ??? Perhaps the Devil’s greatest deception has been to fool mankind ( by using Religions ) into thinking that Bible Prophecies does not exist, and speak of the Divine law as uncertain or unreasonable. Jeremiah 6:13 “For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely. Ezekiel 25:17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon them.

  • New Covenant Whole Gospel: How many modern Christians cannot honestly answer the questions below? Who is the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Who is the “son” that is the “heir” to the land in Matthew 21:37-43? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God’s Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. God is not now a “racist”. He has extended His love to all races of people through the New Covenant fulfilled by His Son’s blood at Calvary. The Apostle Paul warned against using “genealogies” in our faith in 1 Tim. 1:4, and Titus 3:9. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world.

  • Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, As Christians, we are united by our faith in Christ Jesus. It is crucial to revisit the origins of the term “Christian,” first announced to the disciples who gave up everything to follow Jesus. Scripture reminds us that Jesus said, “Whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:33). He spoke of drinking his blood and eating his body, emphasizing the radical commitment required (John 6:53-54). Jesus himself had no place to rest, while even animals found shelter (Luke 9:58). His disciples faced hardship, seen as scum and homeless. Yet today, many amass treasures on earth, despite Jesus’ warning not to do so: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal” (Matthew 6:19). The Spirit of God dwells not in buildings but in truth and spirit: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). We are called to pray in secret (Matthew 6:6), study the Word (2 Timothy 2:15), and seek treasures in heaven, not on earth (Matthew 6:20). Yet, churches often turn away the homeless and poor while embracing the wealthy, even allowing them control. Denominational divisions grow, prioritizing human traditions over Christ’s love. Jesus warned of suffering and rejection for his followers: “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you” (John 15:19).

See Proverbs 28:9. James 2:10-12. Exodus 20:8-11. Ezekiel 22:26.. The bible say that Jesus is coming soon See Revelation 22 :20. Are you preparing your members for heaven or elsewhere?

  • Lord thank you for these messages I’ve read in my Bible about many antichrist are here today and it makes you think or wounder if some may be leaders of the countries prayer should still be allowed in school along with the pledge of aligence look what’s happening to our country since it’s removal just because a few rejected it Jesus take my hand and lead me down the narrow road for i can’t do it alone ❤ amen

  • Praise the Lord brother 🙏❤️. One of the activities of religious people came at the door to witness what they believed so I used this Scripture 1 John 2: I said, do you believe Jesus is coming in the flesh or the spirit? The religious man said, in the spirit so close the door because I know this is from Antichrist. Yes, test the Spirit

  • God hear my prayers. The last three years I’ve been struggling. Through my struggles I found Jesus he has carried me this far. So even as I struggle to support my children and myself I trust in you Jesus. Being a single mom things can be hard raising them alone. My husband is with God I miss him dearly. Both of my children are autistic. I started homeschooling them last year and they are now thriving. I also suffered a heart attack two years ago so I’m getting healthier everyday. As I struggle to pay my rent each month and as I struggle to buy groceries. I know God will make a way. Where there seems to be no way. He works in ways we cannot see. I have faith! God has not forgotten me. Faith First!

  • The last days to me is the Tribulation period, the last 7 years…. The Bible says before anything begins to end a great falling away must come first and the man of sin be revealed.. People… During the days of Lot and angel of God went into his house and the 2 men that seen him… Thought of nothing but having sex with him…. It’s not that bad yet… Sit back, follow Christ… Because you definitely shouldn’t push him… God bless.

  • This guy needs to go back and study a little more. Jesus couldn’t come back until certain conditions where completed. First Jesus couldn’t come back until Israel became a nation. That happened in 1948. The Bible teaches that when this happens, to look up for our redemption draws near. Then, different prophies had to be completed. These prophies have happened throughout history. But All the prophies have happened together within a short period. When these have happened, then the only thing remaining is the Resurrection. Which can happen anytime. The spirit of the antic-christ has always been in the world since Christ. The one and only Real Antic-christ is most likely in the world now. He will reveal when he makes a 7 year pack with Israel. Think about it.

  • Hi, Just to let you know, man has been living in the last days (Christian Age) since the Church was established in Acts 2. Read Hebrews 1:2. Also, the word antichrist does not appear in the book of Revelation and when it does appear like in 1 John 2:18 and 2:22 we can see that there are many antichrists or anyone that denies that Jesus is the Christ. Study your Bible to prove if what is being taught is scriptural.

  • Interestingly the devil who is the father of lies would not have to fight against JESUS CHRIST if JESUS was a lie. Neither would he fight to imitate the life of JESUS through the antiChrist. Satan would not need to exert that he is more powerful than JESUS if he truly was. He would just laugh at us Christians and go on his merry way. But because JESUS is The Way the Truth the Life, the Bread and the Water, the Door, the Light, the Vine, the Word of GOD, Elohim, El Shaddai, Adonai, Jehovah, Yahweh, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Mighty GOD, Wonderful Counselor, King of kings, GOD of gods 😂 need I go on? Satan does not stand a chance to ever be victorious if we cling to CHRIST JESUS!!!!!
