How To Create A Vedic Astrological Birth Chart?

Vedic astrology is a unique approach to understanding one’s personality, life path, and soul’s purpose. It involves creating a birth chart online using the date, time, and place of birth, using Lahiri Ayanamsa. This tool helps astrologers deduce the personality and character of the native, along with what’s in store for them in the future.

Kundli is an astrological chart based on birth details, planetary positions, and other factors. Vedic Rishi offers a free kundli calculator and a premium 365-day report to help individuals understand their destiny, strengths, and potential future.

To create a personalized Vedic birth chart or horoscope, enter your birth date, time, and location. The chart will show your Sun, Moon, Ascendant, and nakshatras, which reveal your personality, emotions, and future plans.

To draw a natal chart manually, calculate local mean time at the time of birth, final sidereal time, cuspal positions, planetory positions, dasa, bhukhi, and antara. The Vedic birth chart calculator uses Lahiri Ayanamsa and can be used to generate a Vedic birth chart.

The birth chart helps astrologers deduce the personality and character of the native, as well as what’s in store for them in the future. Even the best Vedic astrologer is rarely more than 70 percent accurate because their horoscope is often less than 70 percent accurate.

In summary, Vedic astrology offers a unique way to understand one’s personality, life path, and soul’s purpose. By entering your date, time, and place of birth, you can create a personalized Vedic birth chart or horoscope that reveals your Sun, Moon, Ascendant, and nakshatras.

Which chart is used in Vedic astrology?

Hindu astrology divides the zodiac into various segments called Vargas, which are micro-zodiacs created within the natural macro-zodiac, the Horoscope. The location of planets in the Varga charts significantly influences the results of yoga. Two commonly used sets of vargas are the Shadvarga, which is the six-fold division of sign, and the Saptavarga, which is the seven-fold division. Some follow the Dasavargas or ten-fold division, and Parasara discusses the Shodasvarga, the sixteen-fold division of a rasi.

Planets become more auspicious if they are in the same zodiac sign in the Shodasa varga or 16 divisional charts. The status acquired by planets is graded for easy identification. When a planet acquires two out of sixteen vargas, it is known to have gained the status called the Parijatamsa or Bhedakamsa. When three vargas are gained, the planet is known to have gained the Uttamamsa or Kusumamsa or Vyanjanamsa, Gopuramsa or Naagpushpamsa or Kimshukamsa or Chaamaramsa, Simhasanamsa or Kundakamsa or Chhatramsa, Parvatamsa or Keralamsa or Kundalamsa, Devalokamsa or Kalpavrkshamsa or Mukatamsa, Kumkumamsa or Brahmalokamsa or Chandanvanamsa, Iravatamsa or Poornachandramsa, Vyshnavamsa or Shridham or Ucchaishrvamsa, Saivamsa Dhanvantriamsa, Bhaswadamsa or Suryakantamsa, Vaisheshikamsa or Vidrumamsa, Indrasanamsa, Golokamsa, and Shrivallabhamsa.

The Bṛhat Parāśara Horāśāstra defines sixteen divisional schemes, each named according to the denominator of the fraction specific to the division. The integral fraction is divided by 1, yielding 12 regions of the zodiac corresponding to the 12 signs.

How real is Vedic astrology?

Astrology has been criticized by the scientific community for lacking explanatory power for describing the universe. Scientific testing has been conducted, but no evidence has been found to support the premises or purported effects outlined in astrological traditions. Despite its status as a pseudoscience, astrology retains a position among the sciences in modern India. In 2001, India’s University Grants Commission and Ministry of Human Resource Development introduced “Jyotir Vigyan” or “Vedic astrology” as a discipline of study in Indian universities, stating that it allows for accurate predictions on time scale. This decision was backed by a 2001 judgement of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Despite widespread protests from the scientific community and Indian scientists working abroad, the Supreme Court dismissed a petition in 2004 that astrology was not a promotion of religion. In 2011, the Bombay High Court referred to the 2004 ruling when it dismissed a case challenging astrology’s status as a science. As of 2014, astrology continues to be taught at various universities in India, and there is a movement to establish a national Vedic University to teach astrology alongside the study of tantra, mantra, and yoga.

Jupiter is a celestial body associated with growth, expansion, adventures, healing, prosperity, good fortune, and miracles. It governs long distance travel, business, wealth, higher education, religion, and the law. In medicine, it governs the liver, pituitary gland, and fat disposition, and governs the sanguine humor. In modern astrology, Jupiter is the primary native ruler of the ninth house, but traditionally, it was assigned to both the second and ninth houses.

In Romance languages, the name for Thursday often comes from Jupiter. In Chinese astrology, Jupiter is ruled by the element wood, which is patient, hard-working, and reliable. In Indian astrology, it is known as Guru or Brihaspati and is known as the “great teacher”.

How is a birth chart made?

The “natal chart”, also known as the “natal chart”, is a map of the stars created using the exact date, time, and location of your birth to recreate a snapshot of the sky at your exact moment of arrival. This map is hyperspecific to you and provides personalized insight into your career, love life, friendships, and more. Astrology is more complex and can be more personal than horoscopes. Within the folds of this circular map, you’ll find all the planets and celestial objects tracked in astrology, along with the zodiac signs they were occupying. If you’re overwhelmed, it’s essential to learn about your astrological birth chart to gain a deeper understanding of your life and career.

How to interpret birth chart Vedic astrology?

How to interpret birth chart Vedic astrology?

The Vedic birth chart consists of twelve houses, representing various aspects of life, such as career, relationships, health, and spirituality. Planets symbolize cosmic energies that influence these aspects, with each planet having its own characteristics. Understanding the significance of each house and planet is crucial for accurate interpretation.

Planetary aspects and yogas are specific combinations of planetary placements that can bestow unique qualities or challenges upon an individual. Positive yogas, like Raj Yoga, indicate auspicious conditions for success, while doshas, like Kaal Sarpa Dosha or Mangal Dosha, highlight potential challenges in various areas. Identifying these yogas and doshas adds depth to the analysis and enables astrologers to offer targeted guidance for personal growth and well-being.

The final step involves making predictions based on the analysis of the janam kundali. Astrologers use techniques like dashas and transits to forecast significant events in a person’s life. Remedial measures include gemstone recommendations, mantra chanting, and specific rituals to mitigate challenges and enhance positive influences. However, it is essential to approach predictions and remedies with an open mind, as astrology is a means of guidance rather than a path of absolute certainty.

Is Vedic astrology accurate?

In this article, Won, an astrologer, addresses the ongoing debate surrounding the precision of Vedic astrology in comparison to Western astrology. She asserts that Vedic astrology’s time calculations are more precise than those of Western astrology, and that the use of divisional charts and timing analysis is more detailed and accurate. Additionally, Won underscores the precision of the dasha timing system as a means of discerning personal timing and predictions.

Can you trust Vedic astrology?

Astrology is considered pseudoscience due to its lack of scientific validity and effectiveness in controlled studies. There is no proposed mechanism for how stars and planets affect people and events on Earth, which contradicts well-understood aspects of biology and physics. Modern scientific inquiry focuses on the correlation between astrological traditions and seasonal birth in humans. Most professional astrologers rely on astrology-based personality tests and make predictions about the remunerator’s future.

Those who continue to believe in astrology are characterized as doing so despite the lack of verified scientific basis and strong evidence to the contrary. Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson emphasized the importance of understanding how nature shapes the world around us, as without this knowledge, individuals can easily become victims of those seeking to take advantage of them.

Is Vedic astrology more accurate for birth chart?

Vedic astrology is considered more accurate due to its consideration of planets and their movements. Unlike western astrology, which uses a fixed tropical reading, Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac to calculate horoscopes. This approach takes into account the changing patterns and universe as a whole, making it more detailed and accurate. The twelve astrological signs include Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. While both Vedic and western astrology have similar planets and interpretations, Vedic calculations are more detailed and potentially more reliable.

  • GEM. I cannot believe how detailed and accessible this has made reading my chart feel! I’ve always been overwhelmed by it and thought finding someone to read it for me was going to be the only way to understand it, but I was literally taking notes on my printed out chart during the article. I’m very excited to dive deeper! Thank you!!

  • I enjoyed perusal your article. You explained it very well.I’m so grateful that I’ve come across your article cause I’m really struggling to read natal chart using astro gold. Please do more tutorial articles about Astrology, waiting for your composite articles and more. You’re a real blessing from God. . again, thank you so much. Love and light. 😍🙏

  • Good starter article on the natal chart. While I believe anyone has the potential to be a healer, I find this especially true for water signs. Their deep emotional connection and intuitive nature aligns beautifully with healing. Although Virgos excel in their analytical approach and practical service to others, I don’t necessarily see them fitting the same healing archetype as water signs. xo

  • Independent self contained since i was little .just did every thing for my self didnt rely on any one now i feel good as im older now im more ballanced about life 😊 but i worked hard to get what i wanted as a tradesman. Its great what your showing me im on the left side a sun sign 4 is my favourite number and my birthday always look for it to show up then i know im on track . I’m having a lot of trouble trying to understand this…

  • Hey girli, thank you soooo much! You are incredibly wise and so beautiful. ❤️ I truly appreciate all the valuable information you share. I have a quick question: I tried to download the PDF you mentioned earlier in the article, which you said would be available “below.” However, I couldn’t find anything besides the transcript 🤷‍♀️. Is there another way to access that PDF? Thank you!

  • I may not be able to do a complete natal chart as I do not know my time of birth. Or even a time frame of what part of day (I guess it was at night) to even guess. I have gotten farther than I ever have after reading a very knowledgeable book I recently purchased called Moon Signs by Marion Williamson. So I’m happy about that. I’ll try to keep working on it though. Thanks for the information and free PDF’s !!!
