To level up skills in League of Legends, hold down Ctrl while hitting the hotkey for the skill you want to level up. If you have a targetted ability that can target yourself, you can hold down Alt when hitting the hotkey to automatically target yourself. If you have a regular keyboard with sticks out keys, press Ctrl with the base.
Smartcast is a method of casting without a mouse click, casting non-targeted spells at the mouse location and targeted spells on the target directly under the mouse. Pressing (Ctrl) + Spell Key will automatically level up that ability, which can be helpful in tense situations. Hotkeys can be changed in the game client and within the League Client Update.
To turn on shortcuts, go into the game, press ESC, and go into the key bindings. For example, to level up spells bound to =,-,0,9 on your Naga, hold down Ctrl while hitting the hotkey for that skill. The level up spell hotkey has been changed to holding down Ctrl while pressing the spell hotkey (Q, W, E, R), not Alt.
In League of Legends, it is crucial to remove all slow actions, such as clicking with the mouse to level up spells. This will make it easier to level up skills without having to move your mouse and click on the + buttons.

Use your ultimate when needed and remember to put a skill point in your Ultimate when possible.
Passive abilites are abilities that cannot be manually leveled. Some abilities, like Sions or Nasus, cannot level up at all. For example, the Jax ultimate will always work unless the passive part specifically states otherwise.

Does League use anti-cheat?
The Vanguard client contacts the driver when launching League to ensure the environment is trustworthy. If successful, a valid anti-cheat session is provided, allowing players to connect to the game server. The driver then activates features to monitor potential tampering with the signed League process. Users can disable the driver at any time, but a fresh reboot is required to recertify the trust chain.
The current Lutris-based implementation for League does not meet the Vanguard driver requirements, as Linux does not have sufficient ability to attest boot state or kernel modules. Emulation is dangerous, as cheats can manipulate or analyze the VM without Vanguard’s visibility.
Vanguard’s job is to prevent tampering with the environment, which is difficult on Linux by design. Developers can leverage any backdoors left open for cheats. Riot Games decided this risk was not worth the payoff, and League of Legends will permanently prevent Linux users from playing the game.
How many minions to level 2?
In order to advance to the second level, it is necessary to achieve a total of seven minions in both the top and mid lanes. In addition to the initial wave, one melee minion from the second wave must also be secured.

Is Aram good for XP?
Aram and URF game modes have shorter matches than Summoner’s Rift, but the average XP per won match is around 175 and can reach up to 300 if the game is prolonged. Playing short games of Aram or URF can be a useful way to grind XP, especially if you don’t have time for a 45-minute match. Leveling from 0-30 takes 7 to 10 days, depending on factors like winning 40-60 games with an XP boost and not winning every game.
How much EXP do minions give?
Minion types provide a set amount of experience, which is influenced by the number of players who gain it. If only one player receives experience, the yield decreases to 95 of its initial value. If two or more players receive experience, the yield increases to 124 of its initial value. Champion experience is a game mechanic that allows champions to level up after reaching certain experience points (EXP) in Summoner’s Rift and ARAM matches. Leveling unlocks new abilities or higher ranks of existing abilities. All champions start at level 1 with zero experience, and each new level requires more experience than the previous level.

WoW I was probably on my 5th FAILED Attempt at Dialing in my settings 100% and was SO LUCKY I just happened to do that right after you made this. I searched for probably an hour finding all these BEST GUIDE’S FOR LOL SETTINGS and not a single one went beyond the basics or random info like mouse speed or they explained everything in terms only a Veteran would understand. (which makes no sense since a Vet wouldn’t need a guide). Your Settings Guide is by far the best explained settings walkthrough for LOL I’ve ever seen. Thanks for taking the time. Also Loved that you got right to it and didn’t do some 10 minute intro and Self-Promoting like a lot of ppl do. The only Suggestion I have is to maybe explain the Acronyms a little bit, because id consider myself an Intermediate player and I didn’t always know what you were referring to because I play almost entirely solo, so I don’t really ever hear the acronyms and slang for LOL gameplay..It would be nice to have all those explained. :goodvibes:
I personally have it also off but Auto attack on is not terrible, it’s preference. You only need to get used to using S with it. I’d argue it’s even more beneficial than auto attack off if you are splitpusher with tp or support because as splitpusher you then can shove waves faster and have a better info for the most optimal tp opportunity since you are are not invested into having to perma click on wave while scouting for info which can make you a bit tunel visisioned especially when it comes to best tp timers and position while support can see if the bush is warded without sweeper or control ward. Obviously the later is more nice and more of a at least mid to high elo thing but everyone can benefit from auto attacks on when split pushing.
Once I looked what he said about how you don’t need shortcuts for pings I just left, not even being able to update the article when so much changed, if you are looking for a guide this is not it. Take my advice and once you start a game block all communications except for pings, have a notepad text document that tells other players how to contact your champion and ask what they need. After that focus on your game and never ever go back to textual communication with these toxic solo players.
game such that can’t use left click for anything else than clicking in menus. At least for me i just can’t rebind the LMB to whatever, Just wanna bind LMB to move, that would be perfect. That is so stupid and silly, as the function of the LMB to select character and see the info could be easily achieved by using a button to hold with LMB so you would do that without sacrificing the LMB that is usually use for movement in most game. The option to tune all those conditions is just stupid and make the setting up controls such a nightmare. There are ways to make much easier for playing this game, but Riot just think what they have is best and is not. Also the option to turn LMB on to move attack is gone. Any way it really makes me mad how inconsiderate game’s developer can be.
Hello all, i use Player atack move click, and now i add the Target champions only with the toogle, all works well,i can cs with the Atack move click but when im going to any jungle camp drake/nashor/crab etc, i cant atack the creeps with the Atack move click, and have to disable the atack champions only to atack those mosnters, why?
What you explained was explained good but you misses a lot of setting, I think its good for someone that its just getting to know the game but for someone that already knows about the game its repetitive, you explained what everyone has knowledge about the game knows, I would’ve like to know about how some of the setting actually work. Missed some settings on game, interface and article. and although you said some setting are preference or that you didn’t need to review them understanding how they work is what the article should focus on, because of that you missed some important settings like player hold and player stop position. And you should also add timestamps to easier navigation throughout the article
