Two things that I’ve started doing that helps me walk out ahead: 1) Stay close to my wife. She reigns me in if I start chasing losses, plus it’s just more fun to play side by side. 2) When I hit a bonus and get up $40 + I print the voucher and hold it until leaving the casino. Never seen anything like a winners bank. That’s a good idea for people who don’t have the will power to hold back your earnings. I’ve only gambled a few times, but I came out ahead 2 out of 3 times, just using a few bucks on slots machines. The key is definitely to make up your rules beforehand and stick to them. Decide on the dollar amount you are going to “invest” in the slot machines, don’t spend a penny more, and quit while you’re ahead. This was a fun article 😁
I like your strategy. I typically start with a couple of hundred in my left pocket. All winnings go into my right pocket. When the two hundred is spent I am done. Everytime I went to the casino, I always win before 30 minutes but since it’s too early to go home I keep on playing until I lost it and withdraw money at the ATM. I have a similar system that never fails me. If I play a machine and have a $100. I play at $5/spin, then I know to only spin20 times. How ever much is left, I cash out and I’m done. Neily, I have one of those Winners Banks. Works great! I move around machine to machine to find loose machines. Heres what I do. I do 5 spins and move on if it doesn’t pay much. If it pays $40 or more I’ll stay a few more spins. If you keep moving your bound to find some loose machines. I usually stack up my cash tickets then cash out and put most of it in the Winners Bank. How far ahead should I get before I cashout ?? Because rught now. With $150 going up and down last about 4 hours until its all gone. I always get the mini or rare occasion minor. This seems like an oh duh type of statement to cash out while ahead or only play it back down until your even again. Playing with smaller bills makes you think about your choices vs putting $100 in. Turn a wallet full of $5’s, 10’s, 20’s into a wallet full of Vouchers $10-200 each. Set cash out markers. You put a $10 in and it grows to $37, set a cash out point $30, if it goes down to $30 cash out but if it keeps going up set a new cash out point based on how high it goes.
Alots are just bad to make money on. House has 15% edge almost 5 times more than any table game. You spend almost zero time on them and fly through money. Black jack and craps are like 1% edge. This might work In Vegas but at the Indian Casinos where you use players cards everything is 100% tracked. They know how much you’ve spent/spun and they will always make sure you dont take home more than that. On the rare occasion, Maybe where it’s your first time at the casino they might let you win a little to entice you to return. Mistakes in article kept playing a cold game…literally perusal you nickle and dime it away….if a game is relatively cold leave it early and cut losses. The play style of low betting I don’t find to be a winning strategy either…some may offer some okay payouts on low bets but generally speaking you want to be betting high to incentivize machines to give bonus plays and when you win do you wanna win the max or minimum amount? What you fail to say is when you buy the winners Bank you leave your key at home that way once you put your winnings in the bank you won’t be able to open it up at the casino and spend it when you get home you get your key and open it you also failed to show them how to fold your money and put it in the winners Bank period when I first bought my winnings bank I bought it at the casino I shoved one of the keys inside the winners bank at the casino and put the other one in my car after that when I would go to the casino I would always leave my key at home and open up my oneaz bank when I get home and then I would have my winnings
I get the idea of paying for entertainment, but these computer games are rigged, you will lose more times then you win. Think of this way! Some of the those machines cost over 10-50k to make and casino makes enough to pay for the machine and run the entire place off gamblers money! Those odds suck, I only like to gamble when the odds are 50:50 or better.
I need to buy that winners bank, I made the mistake last time of bringing my debit card with me and ended up losing around $800. I normally leave it at home. After that I told myself I will always bring a winner’s bank with me and stick my card and winning money in there and leave the key home.
