How To Slay Osrs Using Ancient Magic?

In OSRS, Ancient Magicks are a series of powerful spells that can be unlocked by completing the quest “Desert Treasure”. These spells were commonly used in the Second Age by followers of Zaros, who ruled a large empire. To train magic to 99 Slayer, players must speak to a slayer master and obtain a slayer task. They then have to complete the task in order to get the next one.

Training to 99 Slayer gives access to monsters and bosses that you normally wouldn’t be able to access without the skill. Bosses like Dust Devils, Nechreayls, Abby demons (shadow burst), and Dagganoths can be barraged using darts. To use Lunar Diplomacy, you must complete Desert Treasure I for Ancient Magicks.

An efficient way to train Ancient Magicks is on Slayer tasks, as certain Slayer monsters can be bursted or barraged for fast experience. Ancient Magicks spells require multiples of expensive runes, such as death and blood runes, and require a minimum of 50 Magic to access them. Barrage spells are the only auto-attack spells that are AoE, making ancient magic the fastest for any sort of slayer.

At higher levels, Magic can be trained faster through casting multi-target burst or barrage spells on Ancient Magicks. Slayer tasks are a good way to do this. Players can switch to Ancient Magicks at the altar inside the Jaldraocht Pyramid in the Kharidian Desert.
