What is the gender of the good omens?
Neil Gaiman posited that angels and demons lack sexual dimorphism and that their gender is a subjective construct. While Aziraphale and Crowley do not identify as male, they do, nevertheless, present themselves as such. Crowley is a gender-fluid queer character from the novel Good Omens. This article is a preliminary draft that requires further development and refinement. Your assistance is kindly requested in expanding the LGBT+ Characters Wiki.
Is Bad Omens metal?
Bad Omens is an American metal band from Richmond, Virginia, formed in 2015 by vocalist and producer Noah Sebastian, guitarist Nicholas Ruffilo, and bassist Vincent Riquier. The band later joined by guitarist Joakim “Jolly” Karlsson and drummer Nick Folio. They released their debut album in 2016 under Sumerian Records. Good Omens season two is a refreshing departure from the usual LGBTQ+ show, with the cast’s support for the LGBTQ+ community. Tennant, Sheen, and Gaiman have all shown their commitment to queer characters and actors, not only in Good Omens but also in other shows like The Sandman and American Gods. This allyship is heartwarming and necessary, especially in light of JK Rowling’s hateful comments towards the trans community. Gaiman has never tried to retcon queerness into his work, unlike Rowling who admitted to thinking of Dumbledore as gay in Harry Potter books.
The show’s second season is praised for its increased queerness, and if Prime Video orders a third season, fans can expect more queerness and joy for the protagonists. Gaiman has promised to write another Good Omens novel if the show isn’t renewed, but the lesson is to avoid ending a beloved queer show on a cliffhanger before it’s confirmed for another season.

Is Bad Omens tour cancelled for 2024?
Bad Omens have announced the cancellation of all scheduled performances in Europe and the United Kingdom for the summer of 2024. This decision was made in light of vocalist Noah Sebastian’s ongoing health and well-being concerns. The US metalcore band was scheduled to perform at esteemed festivals such as Download and Tuska Open Air, as well as collaborate with Bring Me the Horizon. In a statement released on social media, Sebastian revealed that he was experiencing a profound state of mental exhaustion.
What does Deftones mean?
Deftones, a band from the late 80s, is known for their unique blend of African American slang “def” meaning outstanding and “tones” meaning “surf” or “doo wop”. The name was a play on the phrase “tone deaf” and was used by DJ Shadow when they wanted to remix their album White Pony. Despite the name being misleading, the ‘Def’ part has weathered the years well, with Def Jam being an American institution synonymous with the foundational years of rap.
Deftones’ music evokes images of the sea, an implacable oceanic body, and the duality of ugly fury and sublime beauty. Deftones’ music is a sonic representation of the weft and warp of emotional fibers that combine to create the unique tapestry of what we are. Their songs are at their best a proxy for raw human emotion, in all its unexpected and conflicting complexity, which rarely gets adequate representation anywhere, especially in the febrile world of heavy metal.

Both of you are like my two top bands now. What a killer concert that would be to see you guys together. I wouldn’t think Chris would copy Ronnie purposly. Maybe Ronnie did the lasers first the werewolf whatever. It’s not the first time we’ve seen them but both bands do them well. Everything starts with an idea which evolves to other ideas. You guys should hook up and collaborate some ideas together for some serious s..t. Papa Roach seemed to like your remake of Last Resort,I mean??. Both bands kick ass and know it so keep up the work cause I don’t want to have to choose who I like better like some Coke Pepsi challenge s..t., thanks
What about Voices by MIW in 2017 and Voices in my head by FIR in 2022? The world of music is very wide and there may be similarities in the works of each musical groups. If this is the case, no one should sing in the world because others think they are copying lol However I listen to the songs of both bands every day and I don’t care about such marginal comments.
European fan of both bands: it is so hard for us, in Europe, to see those guys play live. And making music &playing live, that’s the point of what thery’re doing: music. So, seriously, it’s sad to hear about those small, pardon my french, stupid fights. Yes, Ronnie, you are completely right, you are quite a character, love you or hate you! Sometimes definitely insane words coming out from your mouth, but you just say what you think. Respect you for that. And respect Chris for his music. But we need support between rock musicians &fans. Anyway we got so much s*** from people around us. Those 2 last phrases are for MIW, nice to stop uncalled criticism towards fellow artists.
I like both bands but everyone is using a specific vfx artist after Falling in Reverse, Motionless is the most prelific, but also BMTH, I Prevail, as a vfx artist my self I have to say he’s making you all look awesome ha good job and shout out to Alex Verenchyck your an unseen legend but I see you!!!!
Gonna go out on a “wild” limb here but honestly nothing is original. It’s all been done before again and again. I get what he’s saying but at the same time it’s kind of a mute point. It’s about the person/people behind the gig that gets interest. Lots of people like Ronnie and lots of people like Chris. Some like both. Just depends of what you’re into. It is probably the record label that pushes a lot of this stuff sometimes like he mentioned. The industry is a surprisingly small space
Ronnie radke like dude you need to chill out!😅 Pretty sure it’s not that serious!😂 And I’m pretty sure other bands and musicians have been doing the same thing as well long before you did and it’s really not new! And yeah bullet for My Valentine did this werewolf thing before! And they’ve been have been doing the whole world wolf concept before you guys even thought of it so!
I see similarities in the articles, but there are other articles before both of them with similarities. Imitation is a sign of someone liking you and what you do. I am constantly being influenced by others, but also come up with things by myself. I do subconsciously copy elements from others. For example if you revisit old pinterest boards years later you often find you bought similar stuff without the realisation of it. However I understand how annoying it is when others take credit for something you did first.
I love both bands. I lean a little more towards Ronnie and FIR, just because I’ve been a fan of his since ETF. Motionless is a DOPE band, for sure. The copying might just be a factor of what’s “hot” right now. Ronnie and FIR are the trend setters. So I’m cool with both bands doing these similar themes and shit. KEEP PUMPING OUT BANGERS, BOTH OF YA!
Motionless in white clearly took inspiration from the game Cyberpunk 2077, like with that exact jacket that chris was wearing that you see more or less exclusively in that game. Also so many bands do that poster type thing. Also that werewolf thing, chris clearly explained his inspirations for it in interviews saying he wanted to a michael jackson thriller type article.
Forreal its just nicecto hear when u inpired by someone to hear year i did this because i was stocked seeing this on him so i did it is it so hard to give credit pls everyone is inspired by something especially as an artist it becomes worse when you try to adopt the exact same thing hopping you end up making it better at the end you do you get inspired but dont steal at least leave credit to the ppl who work their as of creating your next big miracle 😅
Well I can’t say I know the truth, but in my eyes it’s just you have to be inspired by something, sometimes it’s your stuff, sometimes it’s stuff of your neighbours. I think that’s all the matter of inspiration and timing because there are only a few things undiscovered. But I can’t say where the truth really is, mostly something between two different opinions
I like Ronnie’s music, but his whole “I was doing this when no one else in the world was” is petty. A lot of the times the band’s P&R team is responsible for the advertising and the band will approve of it, so I really think Ronnie boy is giving himself too much credit. (Btw, I’m not a MiW fan) Cheers! 🥂
Hot take.. actually no its not even that: Nobody ripped off anyone and I have no idea why they would think that.. none of these bands invented the werewolf and I love all those bands, so it makes no sense to say “its a ripoff”. Motionless in Whites song doesn’t even resemble Popular Monster in the slightest. The only thing that I would agree on, is that both songs put more emphasis on trying something different out for the bands, even though Falling in Reverse already did rap stuff for a long time at that point. I think Ronnie is a smart and talented dude, but him calling people out on “ripping off” stuff just makes him look bad, its stupid. It was the same with the word “Reimagined” when he had that dispute with I Prevail. Why even start this? I mean I am only now seeing this, but I hope he saw that its a little ridiculous and that he at least took back the statement, Ronnie is better than this. Also the “movie poster thing” is literally something INK did before all those bands, so it might be more inspired by them, especially because Motionless in White’s thing looks more like INKs, than anything else, but what do I know.
My band did a music article in a jail house. Was friends with the owner, rented it, made an amazing first music article considering it was self-funded and had a small production crew (Shout out to StageCast 360! look them up, great live 4K footage).. anyway, there’s a bigger band in the area, like a knock off wannabe 70’s southern rock. They’ve shared their stuff with us asking us to share and we did, so we thought we’d do the same, ya know, local support. We sent the article asking pretty much in the same format as they’ve sent to us, they view it and don’t say anything. Ok, whatever. Later, I see the owner of the jail and he said this band “BTM” called him up asking how much to rent the jail for a music article, saying they saw our article and liked the scene. These MF’s.. that’s why they didn’t want to share it. I told the owner to get his money and thank you for keeping me in the loop, that was the stand-up thing to do. He ended up telling them no because he didn’t like the dishonesty. Everyone has similar ideas and are inspired, but give props where they’re due. Just say “I saw him do this and I wanted to create my own version”… It’s not that hard and people will appreciate it because when fans like this alternate world artists create, it’s fun when that world can go on longer.
yes that person is right bfmv did werewolf (metal) article before both of these guys CM has rights do whatever he like to do like FIR if this guy say he never saw bullet maybe MIW never saw Popular Monster article right? 😂 ha make no sense, waking the demon is a popular song and i think millions of fans know about that song
Literally just searched for “Motionless sucks”, just because I’m so annoyed with them popping up in anything that has to do with metal. I have to skip Slaughter House 2 on the new Knocked Loose album, because I just cringe at Chris’s voice. I can’t be the only one lol, I don’t see anything original in them. That’s just my 2 cents. It felt good to comment.
I’ll always b a fan of FIR but not Ronnie since he started all this nonsense against MIW. There both great bands but Ronnie always has to start something n complain about every single thing. MIW not even copying, they don’t have the same sound, don’t have same music article, don’t have same werewolves, everyone loves werewolves n it’s cool seeing em in music vids n hearing it. Alot of songs have werewolf or few bands even have the name werewolf or Werewolves. They sound good too. Ughhhh wish Ronnie would just grow up n quite thinking Everyone trying to copy or rip em off. Cmon Ronnie MIW is not trying to rip u off or anything that offends u. There the type of band that gives off Halloween vibes n werewolves r appart of it n they really made a great song n vid. But just hope all this nonsense will stop tho
My mouth has always gotten me in trouble… I dig Motionless. But it looks weirddddddd….too much evidence, right? I love Ronnie’s creative mind, not fair to copy, without permission. He mighta said yes…Falling in Reverse, I think, is really open to collaboration, evidenced with Jacoby….just ask dudes…😊
I’m a fan of falling in reverse as well as motionless in white but I have to point out that this isn’t the first time Ronnie has done this. He also did the same type of thing to the band I prevail. Also if you watch either of the motionless in white articles mentioned it becomes quite clear where their inspiration comes from. Werewolves as well as the cyberpunk genre have been around far longer than Ronnie has So I don’t see how this is copying Ronnie. seems like a bit of a reach.
I’ve been to many MANY motionless in White concerts and they’ve always used lasers in the shows. I’m not a fan of Ronnie and I’m not to stir things. But all through the decades, this has been a thing. He didn’t come up with it, and I read that MiW was inspired by Micheal Jacksons thriller. So where is this whole MIW “ripped” him off. I’m confused. Lol I hope they work this out. I’m a fan of MIW.
I love both bands man. I love to see them tour together but it is what it is I guess. I dont know if they drew inspiration or copied Ronnie but I never connected the 2 until I seen this rant. The music is very different in my opinion so I dont care about posters. I love Ronnie and what he’s doing but he sometimes acts like he’s the first person to do anything. Where have we seen a werewolf before… thriller anyone? Did everyone call him out for copying michael Jackson?… no. Should they? Debatable but in my opinion, no. He’s doing great stuff but he’s not the savior of all music.
Love Falling in Reverse. I listen to all kinds of music however, I have never heard of Motionless in White. 🤔🤷🏼♀️ I totally get what he’s saying, if you’re going to do something just be honest. I mean its like people saying they go to Hooters for the wings… No you go to Hooters for the breast and thighs🤣🤣🤣
I quit listening to the radio no shit like 10-12 years ago. And I cannot believe I have never seen R.R. before. I mean this guy is funnier than absolute shit, an amazing rock star, ripping on these nothing losers that talk shit online. I cannot stop laughing. And not just talking shit, shredding them lmfao 🤣
MIW is about Halloween all year long. I truly believe this. But I did see similar crap with holding on to smoke that sounds kinda like BB but not really. I think you are a cat that expects challenges or loss. You need to find a way to repel these thoughts for peace. And my lord, I’m waiting for your major peace albums. God bless you in this.
I love you and i disagree with you on this subject. Im not saying your opinion is wrong i am saying mine is different and neither of them are facts. Just opinions Songs with same name and album covers that are similar. are not, in my option is relevant. But if the lyrics or melody sounded like you i would be so on board with your opinion. Any 80’s metal band like Iron Maiden had Eddie the skull mascot I believe the cover of most good metal albums had the skull son the cover. We didn’t care back then. Just loved the music. Not hair metal. Real metal lol I love your band. You speak to me in your lyrics as i feel the same way you do. I love MIW and they are also i band i can relate to. I find alot of their music is about healing from these struggles things. The album with werewolf is a concept album Your single lyrics you present are what you are feeling the struggle, the reality .the anger they stuff you deal daily, your past, and your still standing Anyway. Just my opinion. Not fact. Hope you see the intelligence in this and don’t just think I’m an idiot. Because i am intelligent. And i have an opinion that just as valid as yours If you disagree with me. Im open to hear why Ronnie you are one of the best artists out there.
RONNIE Your Right and You think They would Look at There Stuff before it Gets Put out and say Nah that looks to much like F I R WE want are Own Thing, but Yeah Unfortunately people don’t CARE AnyMore and Don’t Want To Do There own Work, But Your The Greatest Man And You Just Keep ON Doing What Your Doing Sweetheart, and maybe I’ll ask to borrow a few hundred dollars for a Ticket and backstage pass before I GO!!!!! Love You, YOUR F I R FAN FOREVER, Laura ❤😊🤗😇🥰❤️❤️🔥🤟🫶🤟🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶
I like Motionless in White, I didn’t see it before but I do now. But Falling in Reverse is the biggest best band out today. Hell I think Watch the World Burn is so original and so well done, “it’s a mindblower the first time you hear it,” it should be one of the top songs of all time. So naturally people are going to try to feed off of your success. Like you said, mini me’s. I wish they would find there own groove, they are a really good band. But when your practically a freaking GOD everyone will try to copy you. But I don’t think anyone has your range of talent. And you have the Goddess Page for a girlfriend. Man, You Freaking ROCK.
Look, this is the thing. Ronnie is absolutely correct, to say the least. Can we not continue to just appreciate and RESPECT the joyous things we see from our GREATEST ARTISTS?? Why can’t it be a positive situation where someone says, “Hey that was pretty fckn cool!! I wonder if I can be just as cool??” And then everyone just positively supports each other LIKE WE SHOULD?? LOOK, Ronnie is a friggin genius writer, producer, director, whatever he wants to do guys!! Just accept it as it is lol
To Ronnie Radke if you ever see this but im sure you won’t. I’m more of a falling in Reverse song. A fan since Popular Monster. Ilisten to Motionless in White also but I agree. They got that shit from you. Chris Motionless has admitted to making songs based on other artists. I’ve heard plenty of familiar lyrics in their songs from Nirvana and other bands. Also Chris is woke and not an individual. I have lost so much respect for him. I like a lot of his music but he’s not an individual like you. He’s a whore for the Industry and loves to make just LGBTQ fans feel like he agrees with everything they do sn the rest of us are suppised to feel like shit. Especially when he tell us to open up our minds instead of our mouths. I think he needs to take jis own advice. He’s going with the trend and he’s doing the same when it comes to plagiarizing. An individual doesn’t plagiarize. I was telling my bf the other day how you are the only one standing up for what’s right. You do your own thing and speak about how you feel whether it’s popular or not. You are real. You don’t buy in to this woke bull shit, you speak your mind and once again I have to say you are an Individual. I respect that. Excuse my punctuation……
MIW’s whole schitick is coping other artists then putting their sound on top of the original content. I think the only album that was more of an original sound was Creatures, everyone after that you could literally hear in each song exactly who they copied because they ripped the entire formula that artists use for that song. So i dont think RR should feel like this is personal, MIW sold out to labels a long time ago to turn into the biggest money generator that they possibly can by piggybacking on others, exactly like what the rapper Logic does.
Like many have said here before, this is a very weak argument to claim someone is copying an idea/concept/aesthetic that has been around for literally years. It may or may not have been the label, but to just say that something that had been done constantly over the years is being copied is ridiculous. Also I know Chris himself is a workaholic and needs to put himself in control of every faucet of the band. He’d not take pride in just simply copying another artist or band! There’s simply too many other perfect explanations for why the Cyberpunk/retro wave, such as ohhh 🤔 idk 🤷♂️ the actual fucking Cyberpunk 2077 game that just game out in between his album and your single. It was one of the most hugely anticipated games of all time that imploded into the then biggest debacle in gaming history and one of the biggest redemptions!! As a sometimes twitch streamer there’s no way you don’t know about it, Chris has the litteral jacket in article. Werewolf has so much retro synthwave to it.. just like the 80’s and Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Chris and the band said in numerous interviews they’re heavily inspired by old retro/synth bands of the 80’s & 90’s!
Ooohhhh. Yeah. I totally see what Ronnie is talking about. Okay so, I also have listened to a handful of Motionless In White. Not a super lot, like Falling In Reverse, but enough to get an impression. Sometimes Chris Motionless references being narcissistic or feeling narcissistic in his music. In his song Headache, he said, “some days I feel narcissistic.” I was really hoping he is Not Literally a narcissist, but this does remind me of narcissistic mirroring a little bit. And narcissists are usually the type to copy (aka mirror), and not give credit to the people who insired them. Usually they won’t give credit due to envy or jealousy… Again though! I really hope I am wrong! I mean, they could be both influenced by something. Like cyberpunk zombies reminds me of something from COD. We all know Ronnie is heavily influenced by article games. And Chris Motionless has also said he likes article games. But I will say that is a huge coincidence, still; cyberpunk x zombies as a combo. I feel bad for Ronnie. He seems frustrated about feeling ripped off.
