Is There A Conspiracy By Right-Wingers Behind Q?

QAnon is an internet conspiracy theory that falsely claims the world is run by Satan-worshiping pedophiles. The theory, which originated in 2017, has gained increased awareness among Americans. An anonymous user, known as Q, wrote almost 5,000 messages over four years, forming the far-right conspiracy theory. QAnon is distinct from other right-wing conspiracy theories that flourished under a Republican president.

The theory began in October 2017 when an anonymous user posted on message board 4chan, signed off as “Q” and claimed to have US security approval. This led to the creation of two far-right messaging platforms, 4chan and 8chan, which became 8kun. Adherents of this conspiracy theory believed that former President Donald Trump was under assault by Satan worshipers.

The QAnon movement has gained support from various figures, including Tom Hanks and Hillary Clinton. The decentralized, far-right political movement is rooted in a baseless conspiracy theory that former President Donald Trump is waging a secret war against Satan. President Trump, who is seen as a hero by the movement, has not officially endowed the conspiracy theory but has described its activists as “…a far-right conspiracy theory forged in a dark corner of the internet is creeping into the mainstream political arena”.

In conclusion, QAnon is a growing conspiracy theory that has gained significant attention in the United States, with its origins traced back to anonymous messages on message boards 4chan and 8chan. The theory has gained popularity among supporters of the Republican party and has become a significant part of the political landscape.

  • We are used to seeing mentally ill people one at a time. We are used to thinking of them as lone problematic individuals. This is what happens when mentally ill people and socially maladapted and maladjusted people band together. They have become strong enough to recruit others into their world vision.

  • The Q-Anon believers, when caught in public, deny knowing about it. I had a row with a friend of a friend, who kept trying to do the “I’m not involved, i just pass along the information” dance. When i asked her if she would pass along passages from Mein Kampf, she sort of hesitated and said no…. After mentioning Q a few times, without response, she suddenly said: “I’ve never heard of Q-Anon…” It’s not the first time i’ve heard this kind of argumentation. People realize, after a while, that the whole thing is kook-ville.

  • 04:27 Gen. Michael Flynn: “He could take military capabilities and he could place them in those states.” WTF? This doesn’t even make logical sense. You can’t “place” a “capability”. It’s not a thing. Capability means “the power or ability to do something”. A general who does not know the difference between military units and military capabilities? How do these people get top level jobs when they haven’t even mastered their native language?

  • What did I do this weekend? Well, its been 2 years since I’ve applied for low income housing as I’m disabled. It has not come through in time and I can no longer pay my rent. This weekend, I was preparing a sight in the woods for my boy and I to set up a couple of tents to live in. We’re moving the day after tomorrow, when my rent is due. A fat lot of good Biden has done in this country. Its more of the same, keep making life better and better for the rich by taking more and more from the poor. Republicans, Democrats… You’re all exactly the same.

  • It would be interesting to know how many people were in attendance. Listening to the audience reactions I’d guess less than 250. Given the cited $500 ticket price, that would leave a gross of about $150K. I wonder if the top five headliners made more than $10K each as a speaker fee, which I imagine would seem like enough for them to spend ninety minutes .peddling political MLM style snake oil.
