📹 How to Find Your Talent & Discover What You’re Meant to Do in This World
Struggling to figure out how to find your talent and discover what you’re meant to do in this world? In this episode, Marie answers …
Why is it hard to read my own tarot cards?
Reading your own tarot deck can be challenging for beginners due to the time required to interpret and understand 78 cards. Being objective is also challenging, especially for beginners. While finding subjective meanings in each card is essential, it’s also crucial to form an objective view of what they might mean for you at the time of the reading. Confirmation bias, where people interpret information to confirm their beliefs, can also affect tarot reading accuracy. Therefore, it’s essential to be objective and not rely on confirmation bias when reading tarot cards.
How do I pull my tarot cards?
Tarot card pulls are a popular practice among those who enjoy the energy and power of the cards. Some prefer to spread the cards out after shuffling, while others feel drawn to them. Once a card radiates with energy, it can be pulled one or three at a time. All products are independently selected by editors, and if purchased, the company may earn an affiliate commission. Lisa Stardust, in her Practical Magic column, explains how to conduct daily tarot card pulls for oneself, focusing on getting in touch with oneself, whether magically or not. With the increasing popularity of collective daily tarot pulls on Instagram and TikTok, this guide aims to help users get the most out of their pulls.
Where is the strength Tarot card?
The Rider-Waite-Smith deck traditionally placed Strength as the eleventh card and Justice as the eighth, but this was changed to align with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn’s astrological correspondences. The eighth card is associated with Leo, while the eleventh is with Libra. This change was suggested in the Cipher Manuscripts, which influenced the Golden Dawn’s teachings on tarot. Today, many divinatory tarot decks use this numbering, especially in the English-speaking world. The Strength card carries several divinatory associations, including power, energy, action, courage, magnanimity, success, and honors, and despotism, abuse of power, weakness, discord, and disgrace.
How to find out which tarot card represents you?
Tarot cards can be used to divine your personality, power, and zodiac cards. To determine your personality card, add the numbers of your birthday and the Major Arcana card that corresponds to the sum. For example, if your birthday is September 25, 1985, you can find your personality card by adding 9+2+5+1+9+8+9 = 43. If the sum is greater than 22, calculate the sum of the two digits.
To level up with your power card, pull the Major Arcana card with the same number as your day of birth. For example, if you were born on days 23 to 31, use the sum of those two digits to figure out your power card.
To set an intention with a “know thyself” tarot spread, clear your mind and ensure you are in a balanced, centered state before consulting the deck. Light a candle, incense, smudge your space, or grab your favorite crystal, then take a few deep breaths and set the intention to get accurate information for your highest good.
What is the Strength card in Tarot energy?
The Strength Tarot Card highlights the importance of self-discipline, compassion, and inner strength in promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. It encourages a proactive approach to health and wellbeing, promoting a positive lifestyle. In health contexts, it suggests recognizing and controlling unhealthy habits to improve overall well-being. The reversed Strength Tarot Card suggests that financial or professional challenges may test resilience, but with patience and determination, one can overcome them. It provides guidance on harnessing inner strength and achieving personal growth in various life challenges.
Can you read your own tarot cards for yourself?
Reading your own tarot cards is possible, but it’s important to do so with caution and not to harm yourself. Many people seek solace in tarot cards due to various reasons, such as feeling lost, seeking guidance, or trying to pick up a new hobby. Mariana Louis, a tarot teacher and practitioner of archetypal tarot, advises that learning tarot is a journey that takes time and patience.
Meg Jones Wall, author of Finding the Fool and founder of 3am. tarot, initially found reading the cards confusing but eventually returned to it. They recommend taking the process slow, paying attention to what you’re observing in the cards, and listening to the meanings instead of comparing keywords.
Juan Francisco, a psychic medium, believes that we all have the ability to be psychic and that tarot is a means of expressing that intuition. He believes that the cards speak to themes that have come up in human life and the life’s journey, making them an excellent tool for tapping into one’s intuitive side.
In conclusion, reading tarot cards is a valuable tool for those seeking guidance, direction, or to explore their intuitive side. However, it’s essential to approach the process with patience and curiosity, as it can change the way you approach life.
What is the luckiest card in the tarot?
The Wheel of Fortune card, part of the Major Arcana, is a symbol of destiny, fortune, success, elevation, luck, and felicity. It is often depicted in a six- or eight-spoked wheel, often attended by an individual dressed in an Egyptian-style headdress. In some decks, such as the AG Müller, the wheel is also attended by an individual wearing a blindfold. The wheel is not always inscribed with any lettering, but the letters T-A-R-O (clockwise) or T-O-R-A (counter clockwise) can be found aligned against four of the spokes, which can also be interpreted as R-O-T-A, the Latin word meaning “wheel”.
In some decks, such as the Waite, the wheel is inscribed with additional alchemical symbols representing the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. These emblems can also be seen on the Magician’s table in the Magician card (Card I).
Which is the strongest tarot card?
The Fool is a card in tarot games, not part of the Major Arcana. In most games, the Fool is independent of both plain suit cards and trump cards, and does not belong to either category. Tarot decks originally made for game playing do not assign a number to the Fool indicating its rank in the suit of trumps. The Fool is one of the most valuable cards in almost all tarot games.
In tarot games originating from Italy and France, the Fool has a unique role, sometimes called “the Excuse”. In these games, the player excuses the player from following suit or playing a trump. At the end of the trick, the player takes back the Fool and adds it to their trick pile, giving the trick’s winner the least valuable card from that same pile. If there are no cards to give in exchange, the Fool is worth one point less and an extra point is given to the trick-taker.
In a minor variant option of French tarot, a player dealt trump 1 but with no other trumps or the Fool can make trump 1 behave the same as the Fool. In official tournament rules, a player in this situation must declare their hand and force a redeal.
What is the traditional Strength card in tarot?
The Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck features the Strength card, which depicts a woman in a white dress leaning over a lion with its tail between its legs. The card’s divinatory meaning is “power, energy, action, courage, and magnanimity”. The card’s reversed appearance suggests “abuse of power, despotism, weakness, and discord”. The image suggests a serene and unafraid woman, displaying gentle pressure to calm the lion’s mouth. The divinatory meaning is “power, energy, action, courage, and magnanimity”. However, most tarot readers believe the card’s imagery suggests a more expansive interpretation.
How do I find my personal Tarot card?
To find your birth card, add the digits of your full birthdate together to find your first card number. For example, if you were born on June 26, 1996, you would have 39 digits. Then, add the digits of your first birth card together to reveal your second card number. Compare your card numbers with a list of major arcana tarot cards to find your birth cards. Tarot birth cards are a combo of 2 or 3 major arcana tarot cards that reveal special insights and truths about your personality and life journey.
There are 12 sets of 2-3 card sets in total, similar to 12 different star signs in astrology. Each set highlights unchanging elements of your personality and how you journey through life. Tarot birth cards are calculated using numerology rather than a range of dates.
How often should you do a tarot reading on yourself?
Tarot cards can be used as a daily guide for meditation, self-improvement, and growth. To build a routine, read one card a day for 5-10 minutes each evening, depending on your mood. You can choose from the Major Cards or use all 78 cards depending on your topic. For specific topics, use one court, such as Coins/Pentacles for money, Wands for work or social life, Cups for love, and Swords for decisions and philosophical questionings.
Follow your intuition and connect with your deck better. 2 Cards readings are ideal for answering simple questions, such as whether to continue putting effort into a relationship or if there will be positive outcomes.

Finding your passion as an introvert is different. You can’t just go there and do things. When I was first starting in my business and came to face this problem I figured out very quickly that the majority of advice are made for people who have no objections talking to the camera and love selling or those who will put profits above anything else. You see I am not them. I am an introvert and activist who runs a non-profit and coaching business where people come always first. That’s why I made a website where I show my fellow introverts, activists, and non-profits how I do it without selling soul and compromising on our values and our true self. But I encourage you to watch this article. Some good gems inside.
I loved how you used the word “Strengths” to not make the idea of gifts overwhelming. This perspective helped me a lot. I realized why I was not enjoying a particular position and it was because I did not get an opportunity to use my core strengths at all and that’s why it didn’t feel aligned. I learn the job responsibilities pretty quickly so I perform well, but does that really bring me satisfaction? Seeing this article, I feel that making use of my strengths majorly is very important, because that’s natural and that’s what helps us nurture our joy within. Thank you, beautiful Marie! ♥
I think my gift is planning, organizing and facilitating but doing all that behind the scenes. I discovered this when I was part of a group that was in charge of a special project and a number of people pointed out that this role in the group really suited me. I had the opportunity to plan and organize things for a dance team when I was the captain and I have to admit I wasn’t the best captain in terms of building a good relationship amongst the team but I was good at creative direction. So I found a strength and a weakness. And as a matter of fact, when I joined the group I spoke of previously, before we started working on the project, I actually told one of my peers that I didn’t think there was anything special about me or my life. I didn’t feel like I had a particular gift that no one else had or that I was the best at. But I learned that no one is the best at everything, there’s always somebody better, there is only one you, and that you is always interesting because there is nothing else in this world like it, nor has there ever been, and nor will there ever be.
Lovely! Marie, I used to say ‘I don’t have a creative bone in my body’, my younger sister was the artist in the family, I was a linguist. However, back in 1993 I encountered the Aura-Soma colour system and over a number of years I noticed that the colour associated with creativity and creative communication kept coming up as my unsuspected gift and talent. When one has an Aura-Soma consultation there is an actual ‘Gifts and Talents’ indication!! Eventually I was drawn to silk painting, became an Aura-Soma teacher, and since about 2007 I have been making wonderful gemstone and pearl jewellery and rosary beads!! Currently I have just built a studio in my back garden and my project for this year is to realize a dream of creating colourful handpainted silk ties and matching silver and enamel cufflinks and tie clips… go Aura-Soma colour!!
Thank you for your article and explaining that gifts are strengths which makes it easier for me to figure out mine. What I actually don’t agree with is the phrase “gifts that ONLY YOU have”, which makes it impossible for me to figure out bc many of my strengths or gifts many people also have, therefore leads me to dismiss mine. I believe none of us have that 1 thing that only we individually have, but we all share strengths and gifts that we were gifted with, some have it stronger than others and some have nurtured it more. But this article really helped me in figuring out my gifts or strengths, so thank you. Been on this journey of reflection and changing my career but can’t decide what I would be good at doing.
Gday Maria, great article. My A to your Q is: 12 months ago I just knew I had to find clarity to my own purpose or calling. I was really good at lots of things and helped my clients achieve massive measurable results, but I really lacked a focus and had no ability to be centered. I was questioning myself “What am I doing here?” So I looked back at all the work I had done with my clients over the past 15 years. What got me most jazzed and where I helped my clients achieve their biggest “AHA” moment came down to the same common denominator, the cross-road of what I loved doing and what the world needs. It came down to one single thing…purpose. So 12 months ago I started my crystalised journey as the Prophet for Purpose. I truly believe, I have witnessed it and it is proven in companies doing good all over the world that “if you become the prophet of you purpose, you will profit from your purpose”. Keep up the awesome work…on purpose
Thank you for this information. It is very helpful. My takeaway is to: Recognize that I have strengths. Asking myself what are my strengths make more sense. Growing up and attending school we are often taught that gifted people are the really smart ones who make A’s all the time. Everyone with lower grades are not gifted. This is probably one of the reasons why so many of us think we do not have a gift. Not to forget how often people are told that they did things the wrong way; no you can not do this or that ; and on and on and on.
I’m a guitarist and I started playing after perusal Sungha Jung’s article that poped up infornt of me out of nowhere, his guitar playing skills inspired me to pick up a guitar and give it a go, I picked it up and actually excelled in it… XD I think your gift is really a thing that is unexpected but is there somewhere inside you, you just need to stop comparing yourself with others and explore yourself, BE YOU!! that is NO. 1 GIFT, “No transparency”, look for inspiration, that inspiration would lead u to your passion/gift/hidden talent, the thing you would love to do most. that’s my story
Thank you Marie- so well thought out and simply shared! Loved the quote at the end:) My strengths are: Curiousity, I always ask such unique and insightful questions. Positivity- I uplift everyone around me so effortlessly Therefore- I am going to be a TV host and have my own talk show focusing on health and happiness:) see you there:)

i think my gift is my spirituality and my mind, sounds stupid and childish, but i’d have to go in depth 2 explain. I guess ima creative mind also, really good ideas n I can see sum out of nothing, but i’m not an artist, drawing or singing. I can see things, read people and am intuitive. Rn i’m 17, been evolving consistently since 11/6/18. ya don’t care but this is a note 4 me. have a feeling a couple years from now, people will be seeing this n be like “OH MA GAHTTT”
i just discovered my strength ^^ i think my strenghts are my body are flexible (however not as flexible as other ballerina but i can say that im better than other people and if i train myself more i think i can be more flexible like ballerina), my another strenght are i dont easily give up on my dream (i have failed so many times but i still showing up)
This question is kind of tied to the manufacturer. Some peoples gifts is easier to monetize. Take a pen and paper, and write down all the strengths you think you have. Then find the one you feel God destined for you. Also seek opportunities to utilise any of the giftings you might possess. Give it out for free and if they like it, they will pay you for it next time.
I come from the communication tree🌳 I learned that about myself from people telling me I’m a good writing lyricist, good story writer, a good salesman, good debater, good conversationalist, giving good inspirational advice, good listener, good reporter and a good teacher. But the string that pull me the most is the lyrical writing which I have a tub of lyrics that I’ve created over a two decade span something like 23 years on the side of working in retail. I truly believe that’s the best to use my communication gift whether I make a living off it or not I just know that string sing to me different than the other ones for some reason.
Some of the people can easily know their strength such as thos who can sing or dance or dribble a ball, because we are more likely to do them in our everyday life, where is justice when someone has a strength that they never faced a situation to ise those strengths, this is unfair, and your advice doesnt make any sense
