  • Had mine for a 6 months now. My buddy had it for about a year and a half to 2 years before that when he gave it to me. Works like a charm. I have heard some people getting bad ones with a bunch of problems. Not this one. Been dropped many times, still works amazing with my Fireluke mesh. Would love to have the hit strength option (Soft, med, hard) like in the newer mods but that’s only a small downside since it is now considered an older mod in the grand scheme.

  • hey Josh I think it’s actually only running off a Normal micro coil at .2 on a normal round wire(not an exotic coil) you would vape that at 50 watts but once you start putting more exotic coils in it doesn’t compensate for all the extra wire that’s being used to push more wsttage to the exotic coil but it’s actually pretty accurate if your just doing normal single and duel coil builds if that makes sense. cause there’s no way you going to be vaping 100 watts comfortably with a normal duel micro build at .2 ohms like you could with an exotic coil at .2 ohms

  • I continue to watch your great articles Josh because I like your style, amigo. Your green screen stuff has been superb and your coil wars series has been a great learning experience for me. I have been looking foe a new mod and this Tarot Pro looks like areal good one to consider. I think the ccw feature would be interesting to explore in TC mode. (that I personally enjoy w/ss) Keep on vaping.

  • Personally i think it is good that it is conservative when it comes to the wattage when initialising a coil, because they should take heat flux into consideration too. I could build 0.2 ohm dual coil using 26 gauge kanthal, which will burn with way too high heat flux at only 40 watt. Optimal wattage is a complicated calculation to have done automatically, because it depends so much on the wire type used and what kind of build is made. I know that you are very much aware of this, but that makes it make sense for me why they would be as conservative as they are with the calculation. I often talk with new builders who end up making a 0.2 ohms dual coil build from 26 gauge kanthal giving it 3 wraps, and because they are used to vape their prebuild or commercial coils at 60 watt or even more, they end up burning the shit and vape burned cotton. So for the sake of newcomers to vaping, companies should go for the lowest common denominator, instead of ending up delivering some features that would just damage the reputation of vaping.

  • I got my Tarot Pro for Christmas and its been really good. But every so often I look down and its not on the wattage I set it on and I believe that’s due to me not having my tank on tight so the MOD resets back to the recommended wattage. I have also notice the recommended wattage is a bit low for me as well when I put my tank on it starts at 42W and I vape at 48-50W. But all in all its a really good MOD and I would buy it again if something happened to it.

  • I got my Tarot today and got to say – It a good MOD, the smart chip works really well, don’t have to adjust it much at all? The device can be mod’d and display what you want and has an app at the Vaporesso site, BUT you will have trouble on Win 10.Best thing is to install it and run in win7 compatibility mode – you can also change the coil advanced settings and temp lines etc. link – vaporesso.com/download-manuals-for-vapes and go to the firmware tab (bottom right). ps have bats OUT and hold fire button for the pc to recognize the mod.. I got to say it’s a great mod, shame that only 22mm’s tanks fit perfect, others will, but slight overhang.. Nice review Josh..

  • Dude I love your reviews on stuff, thought you would be the person to ask. I use a CF MAXX with a Atlantis Mega, reason being Im disabled and that fits in my ‘partial hand’ good and a box mod is out of the question really. Could you suggest a tube/ cylinder mod to use the Atlantis Mega on? Or is it tough shit for me dude. Is there any Meck side button mods that you know of that will work? Cheers bud and keep on vaping….

  • id say 50 is actually pretty good at .2(at least as a start point, i have a .2 in my griffin that i typically run at 55-60. maybe bc its just a 2.5mm ID. sure a 3mm coil would probably want 80-90, so i wouldnt say either is right or wrong necessarily, but at least a good starting point. itd be REALLY nice if you could go in with some software and set different resistances to different wattages.

  • if smart mode is a bother if you set it to what you like turn it off at your set watt then turn it back on chose old load. then it won’t smart you back to its smart watt so if you go away from its smart watt and it takes a time out after you change it will go back to smart .. do what I said and it stays . whoo .. hope that was a help if I was understood.. happy with mine!
