The Skyrim Spell Assignment System?

To use magic in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, follow these steps:

1. Go to your inventory and press F for favorite for the item you want to assign.
2. Press Q for the quick selection menu.
3. Press 1/2/3/4/etc while a quick selection item is highlighted.
4. Press 1/2/3/4/etc while running around to instantly switch between items/spells.
5. For example, to use two swords, a shield, fire, and heal for items/spells, press F in the items/spells menus.
6. Equip spells like weapons by pressing Q in the items/spells menus.
7. Use the mouse button to switch between spells for your right hand by assigning the spell to the hotkey (e.g., Fireball to 1) and pressing XX.

Magic in Skyrim comprises various skills, spells, shouts, and powers. Casting conventional spells (Destruction, Alteration, Illusion, etc.) expends Magicka.

To equip a spell, open the Magic Menu and find the spell you want to equip. Use or to assign a spell to a specific hand. You can equip a spell in one hand or both hands, or both.

Spells require Magicka to be cast and are frequently used by mages both inside and out of combat. To change a spell or weapon, press L1 or R and go into items > weapons.

On PC, press tab> magic> assign the spell for right or left hand by pressing RMB or LMB. You can assign these spells to your left and right-hand buttons.

Casting magic consumes Magicka, and your capacity for Magicka depends on your character’s level. To switch between items/spells, use the mouse buttons as usual.
