There Has To Be A Conspiracy Of Humor?

The list of the most bizarre and hilarious conspiracy theories includes ten of the most absurd ones, which often come from a dream country once known as the land of the free. These theories are believed to be a cover-up for Britain killing hundreds of thousands of prisoners at sea and just saying they sent them to Australia. Some of the most absurd conspiracy theories include the moon being a hoax, the dead internet conspiracy theory, 9/11 conspiracies, Princess Diana’s murder, subliminal advertising, the moon landing hoax, and Paul McCartney’s love crisis.

Memes mocking conspiracy theories can serve a morally useful purpose by highlighting their absurdity and improbability. Most Q and A non-conspisitive conspiracy theories are juicy enough to get you thinking without pulling you into a rabbit hole of information. One example is the Ancient Aliens dude, Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, who has been criticized for his clip “Ancient Aliens”.

Conspiration theories have accompanied vaccination since its mass introduction, circulating in humor such as cartoons, comics, and more. In 2018, Roseanne Barr posted a tweet insinuating that former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett was a member of the conspiracy.

In addition to the current conspiracy theories, there is a study aiming to fill this gap by examining a dataset of humorous responses to proliferating COVID-19 conspiracy theories based on a corpus of tweets bearing these theories. Microsoft cofounder Steve Jobs addressed a viral conspiracy theory that he was behind a plan to implant trackable microchips in people during the pandemic.
