Unable To Combine Magic Band Plus?

To pair your MagicBand+ with your Disney account, follow these steps:

1. Power on the MagicBand+ by pressing the button on the back.
2. Download the My Disney Experience app and follow the instructions to link the MagicBand+ to your Disney account. Assign the MagicBand to a Guest and pair it to your mobile device.
3. If the MagicBand+ still doesn’t pair properly, call a helpful Cast Member at 939-4357.
4. Press and hold the button on the back of the MagicBand+ for 3-4 seconds until the blue LEDs come on signaling it is in pairing mode.
5. Open MDE, go into the MagicBand+ section, and follow the instructions in the app to link the MagicBand+ to your account, assign it to a Guest, and pair it to your mobile device.
6. Use the app to make sure your band is charged and the software is up to date.
7. Factory reset your MagicBand+ by pressing and holding down on the button on the back of the band for 15 seconds.
8. Make sure your My Disney Experience app is updated to the latest and follow the instructions to link the MagicBand+ to your Disney account, assign it to a Guest, and pair it to your mobile device.
9. If your MagicBand+ won’t pair, ensure that your Bluetooth is toggled on within the settings of your smart device.
10. Turn your MagicBand+ back and open the MyDisneyExperience or Disneyland app.

If you’re having trouble pairing your MagicBand+, follow the instructions on a PlanDisney Q and A but nothing worked. With new MagicBand+ bands, always charge and Bluetooth pair with your phone, and use the My Disney app to update the band’s firmware. If your MagicBand+ doesn’t pair, set it up so that their tickets are on their phones and have them download the app.
