Lewis Hamilton’s lock-up at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix was caused by accidentally hitting the “magic button” on his steering wheel, which alters brake balance. The magic button has been present in Mercedes F1 cars for a long time and is a button at the back of the steering wheel that warms up the brakes. It is a clever tool to help drivers generate heat quickly for the front tires.
The magic button has been around since the Minster years ago when Mr. Norrell did the magic at the Minster. Since then, the brake magic button on the back of the Mercedes steering wheel allows an instant switch to almost full front brake bias as an aid to heating up.
A conspiracy theory has been spread about the history of magic, with pro-Trump wellness influencer and suburban Democrat sharing a conspiracy theory. Magic has been used in various cultures and societies to interpret and influence forces of nature. In the case of Lewis Hamilton, the magic button was accidentally turned on during the warm-up lap, but it was later turned back on during an upshift after the start.
In conclusion, the magic button on the back of the Mercedes steering wheel is a crucial tool for drivers to generate heat quickly for their front tires. It has been a topic of discussion among experts and fans alike, with some suggesting that the magic button may have been knocked back on due to the accident.

I stood next to John Sebastian at Los Angeles International Airport just before he flew with The Lovin’ Spoonful were on the Ed Sullivan Show in New York. John wore some fairly high top boots with about six inches of fur at their tops and wearing those 60’s round glasses. I was just a young kid in elementary school but it left a memory in my mind I still have today. 🔥🎸🎸🎸🎶🎵🎶. Yes I Believe in Magic 😌
YES! I DO BELIEVE IN THE LORD OUR GOD AND HIS MAGIC WE CAN TOO. Everything We Have Asked him and The Eternal Life in Heaven and better life there He has planned and promised and will do for our better future and Everything we Pray to God and Ask For Will Come True!!! Oh Yes!!! Great Oldies Song Love it!!! 👍🙂🎶🎵
Maybe the most positive song that came out of the sixties. Pure Magic! Somehow I bought John Sebastian heavy metal guitar case. For his electric guitar at a music flee market up in the Woodstock N.Y. area. Any serious collectors? Has stickers on it. And John’s old address in Woodstock. Ps. GREAT PERSON!
GUIDE TO WEIRD COMMENTS: “One shudders to imagine what inhuman thoughts lie behind that mask” It’s about a article game called TF2, in one of the character trailers, it presented a mercenary named Pryo, which, hallucinates about shooting rainbows out of a magic gun and spreading joy, while not knowing that he’s really creating fire out of a flame thrower and commiting arson. And while he is in his happy land, this song plays. And even PYROS team is talking about him! “I fear no man, but that, thing, it scares me.” “LOOK, I AIN’T TALKIN’ ABOUT THAT FREAK, ALRIGHT! HE’S NOT HERE, IS HE!?” “One shudders to imagine what inhumane thoughts lie behind that mask, what chronic, sustained cruelty…” Comments that are referenced to fire are also related.
Do You Believe In Magic Lyrics by Lovin Spoonful Do you believe in magic in a young girl’s heart, How the music can free her whenever it starts And its magic, if the music is groovy’ It makes you feel happy like an old-time movie I’ll tell you ’bout the magic and it’ll free your soul, But it’s like tryin’ to tell a stranger about rock’n’roll, whoa If you believe in magic, Dont bother to choose If it’s a jug band music or rythem and blues Just go and listen and it’ll start with a smile It wont wipe off your face no matter how hard you try Your feet start tappin’ and you cant seem to find How you got there, so just blow your mind If you believe in magic, come along with me We’ll dance untill morning, till there’s just you and me, And maybe if the music is right, I’ll meet you tomorrow somewhere late at night And we’ll go dancin’, baby, then you’ll see How the magic’s in the music and the music’s in me, yeah Do you believe in magic, yeah Believe in the magic of the young girl’s soul, Believe in the magic of rock’n’roll Believe in the magic that can set you free Whhhooooooaaa (fade off) Talkin bout the magic Do you believe in magic Do you believe, believe Do you believe, believe
I meet the Spoonful through Steve Boone’s brother who was a school mate of mine at Westhampton Beach HS. My band and I actually helped to setup and break down the bands equipment when they played at Queens College in New York, on one occasion. I would once and awhile drive Mark Sebastian to school when John lived in an A frame home in East Quogue, Long Island, NY.
I throw the “Spoonful” in the same class as “The Animals”. Not because of the style of music they did, but because you could always depend on them constructing well crafted, well performed “pop” gems………..and they never quite made it to the pinnacle of popularity ( Beatles, Stones). But man, they sure made GREAT music.
this is such a good song! i hope its not the favorite song of an insane and blind pyromaniac, who sees the world as him bringing happiness to it, but in reality he brings the death of poor and innocent souls to it, as ashes fall upon his face, as he is really.. well, neurotypical, seeing the world as its filled with happiness, but its actually in fear.
Saw the Spoonful play at Newark State College, NJ in 1972, tickets were $3.00. Saw the Byrds at Middlesex County College in 1971 for $2.00. Back in the day a lot of famous talented bands played colleges, nowadays for talentless bands colleges can’t afford them because they want $800 – $1000 a ticket. Don’t hold your breath of ever seeing Taylor Swift play a college, without studio music she ain’t much except another pretty face..
I cannot decide what’s more magical: 1 -the awful “trickery” of the Sullivan show re-doing the set & performers numerous times to affect the lame “magic” tricks that actually required a numbing number of times the band had to mechanically re-enact their lip-synching thru the song 2 -getting away with both an autoharp AND those sideburns on their lead singer Or 3- actually having a lead guitarist named Zal Yanovsky who refused to change his name for the sake of show biz. I’d vote #3, but #2 is pretty impressive too, you must admit.
I was in line at a grocery in green hills Nashville 00s and thought it was john Sebastian in line in front of me….and sure enough it was….he was extremely genial….I rarely bug celebs here but you run into folks a lot especially Cali migrants although I think Sebastian was just hanging out here Chris Hillman…..JD Souther bought my wife and flirted with her…at a bar restaurant in Franklin a few years back….she’s a punk rock era bride…I had to explain who he was….he’s a handsome guy…smallish……Bret Michaels lives or lived near us out here…he has paved his way through much local fauna…Robert Plant too…..this ain’t 1960s Nashvegas…..it’s Kali refugees more than anything …
Do you believe in magic in a young girl’s heart? How the music can free her whenever it starts And it’s magic if the music is groovy It makes you feel happy like an old-time movie I’ll tell you about the magic, and it’ll free your soul But it’s like trying to tell a stranger ’bout a rock ‘n’ roll If you believe in magic don’t bother to choose If it’s jug band music or rhythm and blues Just go and listen it’ll start with a smile That won’t wipe off your face no matter how hard you try Your feet start tapping, and you can’t seem to find How you got there, so just blow your mind If you believe in magic come along with me We’ll dance until morning till there’s just you and me And maybe if the music is right I’ll meet you tomorrow sorta late at night And we’ll go dancing baby, then you’ll see How the magic’s in the music, and the music’s in me Yeah, do you believe in magic Yeah, believe in the magic of the young girl’s soul Believe in the magic of a rock ‘n’ roll Believe in the magic that can set you free Ahh, talking ’bout the magic Do you believe in magic? (Do you believe like I believe?) Do you believe, believer? (Do you believe like I believe?) Do you believe in magic? (Do you believe like I believe?) Do you believe in magic?
I remember when I first saw a picture of The Ramones, I thought to myself, ” Where have I seen that haircut before?” At 65 I had watched Ed Sullivan growing up, but didn’t remember till perusal this article where I had originally seen it – it was on the Lovin’ Spoonful’s guitarist, Zal! (Though Zal’s hair was real as opposed to the wigs the Ramones ultimately had to wear to replicate it.)

Romans 10 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”,//
This really reminds me of some friend of mine who was a chemist, he loved using fire mostly. He always wore his mask on to protect himself in his “experiments”. I believe he might have had schizo, he told me he saw babies and a sandwich. Furthermore, his fire experiments looked like bubble and magic to him. I could never really get to know him, though. He always sounded so… Muffled.
This brings back wonderful memories of me and my older sister perusal them and so many others on The Ed Sullivan show.. My sister harassed my dad endlessly until he gave in and took her to see the Beatles live. He served on a Cruiser in the Pacific in WWII and saw action and he said he had no clue of what these screaming girls could do to someone’s hearing. He thought the USS Vicksburg was loud. lol It was the best time to grow up..
This music was “old” when I started dating my wife back in 1992… Marriage, 3 kids and 32 years later, we still listen to it ! When all the people (including the musicians) can enjoy Gods given freedom, eternal pearls like this are composed. Humans need freedom in order to reflect the part of Gods character, in this case music creation, that they are allotted to…

America another song i grew up on when i was young everywhere i went that song was playing & there i was singing it like crazy a song of memories still enjoy listening to America the best song, off topic but i have been curious for a while, I intend retiring/working much less in 5 years and keen to know best, how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments?
Here it is almost August of 2024 and I’m still listening to this and remembering the words/chords just as if I heard them yesterday for the first time. 54 years old and you know what the magic is here? Remembering the first time I heard this as a kid, closing my eyes and seeing myself laying in bed with this playing on the radio on my bedside table; me being 12 years old again. How is THAT for magic?
I’m 27 and I went to see them live yesterday in Tunica, Mississippi. Man they’ve still got it. Opening it with “Tin Man” and closing it with “Horse with no name”. just wow!!!!!! We used to listen to them in a Radio speaker back in India with my brothers and seeing them live yesterday was just the dream man!!!. Probably me and my friend were the only one’s in our 20’s when the whole crowd was 50,60+ lol. The beer was good and so was the music!!!!!
Love this song so much. My ex husband sent me this link, reminding me that I used to sing it to my son when he was a baby on the changing table. When I used to say ‘You can do Magic” I used to say “Bing Bing,” in a high voice and he would giggle and giggle. A beautiful memory… unfortunately, he was killed in April 2002 at the age of 20. I always wanted to recreate this memory with my grandchildren. We’ll see…hopefully soon now that my daughter has found her forever love. ❤️
Late 1970’s at the town pool in a small midwest American town on a warm summer day, America playing on the pool speakers for the teenage lifeguards. I was around 10 years old and the summer seemed long – no school in sight, there was nothing but the pure freedom of childhood and summer play, tomorrow and the next days would be the same, as far as my youthful eyes could see. I can remember that feeling of blissful freedom, but I will never experience it again. This band and a few others are tangled up in those good memories.

Always reminds me of being homeless in Atlantic City and it would play through the speakers 🔊 on the boardwalk. I was a junkie at the time but still a good musician lol I could do magic 🪄 on my guitar 🎸 all day and make money 💰 to support my habit. I would sit there high as a kite 🪁 or sick 🤢 as a dog 🐶 and look up at the top of the big hotel casinos 🎰 and think wow some people really have money and possibly a good life. Way up in the top suite living their life while I’m just a drug addict starving artist who has a broken heart 💔. Thank God I’m clean 🧼 today. God Bless and don’t give up.

To the person that reads this, I ask the Lord to bless them and their family, to cure them of every sickness and pain, to fill their emptiness with love joy and peace, to rebuke the enemy from their lives. ” ASK JESUS TO COME INTO YOUR HEART AND SAVE YOU, AND TO FORGIVE YOU OF YOUR SINS, FOR WE GIVE THANKS AND GLORY TO THE LORD. IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AMEN!
