At level 70, 12. 615 hit rating is equivalent to 1 hit, while at level 80, 26. 232 hit rating is equivalent to 1 hit. 📹 Classic WoW Mage Leveling Exploit
This video is about a way to exploit the mage talent “magic absorption” to gain infinite mana/mana shield, become invincible and …
It’s an interesting idea in theory, and I have no doubt that people can find good uses for it, but, idk. Is it just me, or does it seem a little…”tedious?” Like idk, I don’t play mage on Classic so maybe I’m misinformed, but it seems like it’d be “faster” to just kill stuff normally, especially since you can eat/drink between pulls if you need to (out of combat). And if you have a level 1 player following you around, they’re going to be aggroing mobs that are farther away than you are, and all it takes is one mistake, just one hit, and that player would have to run all the way back from the starting area.
Cool find, but it seems like you would need at least 3 to 4 mobs with spels hiting you, for this to be effective. Since you are consuming more mana than will be provided from just 1 mob. And you are in combat, so you can never really drink either. Or am i seeing things wrong? At least it looked like this was the case, in the article.
