What Does An Astrologer’S Birth Time Mean?

A birth chart is a map of the sky, including the positions of the planets at the time of your birth. It indicates the exact moment your soul entered your body when you were born and helps determine your rising sign, which is considered the most “you” part of your birth chart in astrology. The exact time of your birth plays a pivotal role in your horoscope, providing valuable insights into your life path and purpose.

The time of birth determines the ascendant, or rising sign, which influences an individual’s appearance and personality traits. In astrology, the time of birth determines which zodiac sign was the most prominent in the sky, what house it governs, and which planetary energies play into the chart.

People born between midnight and 12:30 am have an inborn thirst for knowledge and want to be aware of everything that is happening around the world. Your birth time in astrology tells you which zodiac sign was the most prominent in the sky, what house it governs, and which planetary energies play into the chart.

In astrology, the strength of aspects that planets make to the rising or angles of the chart is determined by the time of birth. Knowing the exact time, date, and place of your birth is essential for an accurate chart reading. For example, the Moon changes sign every 2-3 days.

The Houses are not to be confused with the zodiac wheel, which is based on the sun’s annual rotation. Instead, the Houses are aligned with the Earth’s 24-hour rotation on its axis. A precise birth time is crucial for an accurate chart, as the Houses represent different facets of your life based on your time and location of birth.

How is time of birth determined?

The first babies born in 2008 will have the chance to win savings bonds and other goodies from local businesses. Doctors determine a baby’s official time of birth by waiting until the entire baby has completely exited the mother’s body. The newborn’s head usually emerges first, and the rest of the baby’s body can be delivered in a few seconds or even a minute. In a Caesarean section, the baby is born when it is lifted out of the mother’s body. The time is recorded in the mother’s and baby’s health records and on the baby’s birth certificate.

A minute after the official time of birth, nurses examine the baby to determine its “Apgar score”, a representation of a newborn’s health. They must check the baby’s pulse, breathing, facial and muscle responses, and skin color. The obstetrician coaches the new mom to deliver the placenta, which can happen shortly after birth or up to half an hour later.

There is no way to guarantee a birth at midnight, but doctors can try to speed up or slow down a delivery, usually without a medical reason. One way to make things happen sooner is to have an elective C-section, which takes about half an hour and is typically scheduled during the day.

How to rectify birth time in astrology?

The Tattwa Shodhan theory suggests that birth time can be corrected up to 12 seconds, which is part of Nadi Amsha. However, this method has limitations, as it cannot be cross-checked without event-based hindsight analysis. According to Shri K. N. Rao, the best method for birth time rectification is event-based correction of the horoscope. Astrologers need to focus on the 16 Vargas mentioned by the Sage Parashara and the time intervals during which the ascendant of these Vargas changes. After rectifying these Vargas, the degrees of the ascendant can be corrected within 2° to 3° marks. Then, finer Vargas like Dwadamsha and Shodamsha can be corrected.

Practicing event-based rectification requires a deep understanding of Hindu astrology’s classical principals and their practical application on divisional horoscopes. Practical examples of birth time rectification in Vedic astrology are presented, demonstrating the method’s practical application.

Early labor, which lasts 12-24 hours for a first birth, is typically shorter (8-10 hours) for other births. During this time, there are three stages: early labor, active labor, and afterbirth. Early labor involves dilating from 0 to 6 centimeters, while active labor involves dilating from 6 to 8 centimeters and dilatation from 8 to 10 centimeters. The second stage, pushing, is when the baby is delivered.

Afterbirth is the point where the placenta is delivered, also known as afterbirth. The contractions become stronger during active labor, and the cervix opens up quickly. The duration of labor varies depending on the type of birth.
