📹 How to Buy Disney World Tickets (And Get Them CHEAP as Possible)
Many people wonder how to buy tickets to Walt Disney World, and how to get those tickets as cheap as possible. Today, Jacob …
One of my best Disney memories is when I went with my family for the 50th. We were perusal “You Are the Magic” next to a mom and her daughter, she was maybe 7. After the fireworks finished she said, “Mom? Am I the magic?” And her mom said “Yes, you are.” My whole family started crying and we ended up chatting with them. ✨💞
Was there too and had so much fun! Wanted to share my ride tally in case anyone was wondering about the value of the event. Keep in mind I got there right at 7 and was pretty ride-focused, but still got to have multiple snacks and watch Enchantment. Big Thunder: III Seven Dwarves: II Space Mountain: II Pirates: I Peoplemover: I Haunted Mansion: I Tron: III Jungle Cruise: I Peter Pan: I Longest wait was 25 minutes for Haunted, walked on to 7DMT twice and Tron was less than 15 all three times. Happy riding!
I just have to ask, when are we going to get the “poor Nana, Poor Father” MamFam merch t-shirt? We NEED it Molly!!!! Poor Nana on the front, Poor Father on the back!!! Loved this article. There are a million opportunities for “empty park” night pics. We literally spend as much time taking photos during after hours as we do riding and they are the best pics. Thanks for another amazing article Molly and Alan!!!
We did this last year the day after we got married and met Molly and Alan on the ferry out at the end of the night. We loved it and decided it’s the only way we want to visit a Disney park. Getting there at 7 we were able to do everything we wanted and then some, it was probably the best time we have had in Disney in a long time, plus meeting your guys – special bonus!! Now we want to do the other parks that offer this.
Love love love the giggles and zaniness at the outset…..more please, no need to edit out. Love seeing you two so happy.Husband and I heading down there to celebrate his retirement…already have our after hours tickets for MK one of our nights. Have discovered that WDW is possibly MORE fun without young kids. Big fan of your website, as always, many thanks for your time, effort and content.
I saw they’re having a HS and MK after hours events while we’re there in June. We’re a family of 4, with 2 spectrum kids, and Inhave long covid. Decided to reduce our park tickets and use these 2 days to sleep late, enjoy the resort, and go to the park when it’s much cooler. We aren’t morning people after all. We are night owls
I absolutely adore Happily Ever After, but wow, I just loved Enchantment too and I’m so thankful they brought it back!! The music and that show just speak to my heart and bring me to tears every time!! Thank you so much for bringing us with you Molly & Alan! You guys just help keep the Disney Magic alive in our daily lifves when we are in between trips!
Oh yay! We are going to WDW next week (from the UK) and I was so hoping you would do one of these before we go! We are going to After Hours in Epcot and MK, haven’t done them before and I can’t wait! I have been binge perusal your articles to be as prepared as possible for Genie + as it wasn’t a thing when we last went to WDW ❤
Hi Molly. Laughed at your hips don’t lie comment about the ride seat. lol We watch your articles every Sunday and love them. My family has been going to Disney since 72. We’re all getting older now and all that comes with it so I’d like to make a request. It’d be wonderful if you could film some content on how to navigate the parks if you have elderly folks with bad knees and others who aren’t a size 2 in your travel party. I would like to hear your perspective on which rides are more manageable than others for people who struggle a bit. It would be a great inclusive article. Thank you for all that Mammoth Club does! Truly informative as well as entertaining.
Love after hours and especially in The Magic Kingdom!! Thanks for sharing your time there. Molly, loved seeing you do a little dance in Adventure Land! One of my favorite things to do during one of these events n the lands or on Main Street, because no one is around !!! Good time to have fun and be silly! Loll!
The first time I got to go to WDW was during the 50th so the first fireworks show I ever saw there was Enchantment, it holds a special place in my heart lol honestly when that fireball looking one shot across and the audio hit with “Make a wish upon a star” I instantly started crying lol took me right back to the moment I was in person seeing it for the first time
You all laugh…but my young boys LOVED Magic Carpets when we went in 2021. They were 3 and 1. After fire works one night, we went back to ride it again and wait for crowds to exit before we went home. We DID ride Magic Carpets two, if not three, times in a row because no one was there. The Cast Member let us stay on and ride. My boys loved it. Haha.
Great meeting you guys at this event, even though it was super awkward with my wife taking forever to come out of the bathroom! This event was definitely worth it. We didn’t arrive until 9:45 because of little ones but still accomplished a lot. BTMRR x2 Haunted Mansion x1 7 Dwarfs x3 Tron x2 Space x1 Buzz x2
Love your articles!! WoW so magical!!! We will be doing Epcot for the late night edition. Forgive me if you already answered this question in a article but what walking shoes are recommended to do the parks?! I heard that ones with mesh are ideal because your feet won’t sweat!! So excited we are going end of April. 💕💕
Oh my goodness Molly, what you said regarding the 7 dwarves mine train seats being snug, I couldn’t agree more! Last year when we rode, I sat with my 15 year old who is huge and happens to be on the spectrum. While keeping his arms up he knocked me so many times on the head, lol. I may have had a concussion but, we did have a blast. lol!
Molly/Alan i love your articles!!! I’m doing MK after hours Feb 12. I’m so looking forward to it!!! Now I just wish they’d bring back “Wishes” for these events. OMG I’d love to see Ariel in her human form again!! Edit rewatching this article negate I miss WDW. loved the after hours I went to. Rode Tron 3 times in a row!!! Loved seeing Enchantment again.
Great article. Looking forward to attending the after-hours event this week. We were at Magic Kingdom today. The day was going great, getting a lot done, but we ended on a sour note. I love the PSAs in your articles. We need you to do a couple of PSAs related to fireworks viewing. Why do parents have to put their kids on their shoulders? It completely blocks everyone’s view. And why do people think it’s acceptable to record the entire fireworks show with their phone up in the air, blocking the view of the castle for the people behind them. My daughter was in tears. I asked a cast member about both of these issues, and she said that they ask people not to do it, and they actually get mad at the cast members. She said they try, but there’s nothing they can do. I feel sorry for the cast members having to deal with all of this. We’re hoping for a better experience at the after-hours event with respect to the fireworks show, but I’m keeping my expectations low so as not to be disappointed again. Love your articles – informative and professional as always.
I usually stay deluxe so have access to the Extra hours for those but it might be worth it for the FWs. I have never been able to see the castle head on with projections since they started them, and I go to WDW sometimes 4 times a year. I have done all the things, even gotten there a hour early to get a good spot only to have a tall man (sometimes added bonus with a child on his shoulders) get in front of me at the last moment. I even paid for the dessert party once, got a great table close to the front only to have people come stand in front of us and added bonus, there was a tree there as well. So, to be able to just once see the FWs from the front and see the projections might be worth it. I do have a good spot I watch them from that I can sort of see part of the castle and can see TB fly.
15:50 I mean, with all the FNAF content I’ve seen in my life I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if that happened in Small World. Very creepy and scary to think about but not totally unimaginable. I can see why people weren’t fans of this Disney Enchantment show. Just felt like something was off, I couldn’t follow or get into the show like I’ve done before perusal them here. I liked the ending and the rainbow (of course). Maybe if I watch the whole entire thing I might have a different opinion. I should do that after perusal this version. The portraits of all the Princesses in Princess Fairytale Hall look amazing! I love them! What I would love to know is why Tron LightCycle Run is so short! I’ve heard that it’s not even a minute long! And if you’re waiting for hours during the day in the heat for a very short ride, I would be very cross indeed. Mollys view about the orange runner was very…..interesting to say the least. Thank you for all of these articles! Makes my day (or night depending on when I watch) better seeing how much fun you guys are having.
WORD OF ADVICE: after having done Disney After Hours at HS last year and having a great time, we did the event at MK last night. I don’t want to say it was ruined, because it wasn’t (we rode 15 rides from 8PM to 12:45). But it did end on a sour note. It should NOT take 55 minutes to get from MK to your car at the TTC. No monorail and only one ferry running? 0:04 Ridiculous. My tip? Only do this event at MK if you’re staying at a Disney resort with direct bus access from the front of MK.
Country Bear Jamboree has closed for refurbishing the new show late in the summer. If was at After Hours, I’ll still avoid HEA due to heavy crowds and Fisher’s lyric arrangement which is my least favwhich I’ll never want to hear live whatsoever. I’d lvoe to see Disney Enchantment; they figured out abot putting teh 4 samples of rids in the balcony since the 50 sign’s gone. could meet other surprise princesses like they met Ariel. The downside is that even the young kids of Mickey Mouse fans will miss seeing that firework show, and the crowd’s reacation to Tink flying in Enchantment wer way too low. HEA’s way too much you can’t move an inch. Wishes (from the past may still be missed) and Enchantmet can be emotional, but not HEA to me.
just wasted 4 days, such a waste, this is justyo make money for them, nothing to entertain. go if you want to waste money on this. basically some shops and constructions which are basically crap. food is super expensive tickets arr super expensive. they have lot of ways that we just waste our time just waiting. dont go if you want to save some precious time of your life
