What Is Scp And Is There A Conspiracy?

The SCP Foundation is a fictional secret organization that operates within the shared universe of the collaborative-writing wiki project. It is responsible for capturing, containing, and studying various paranormal, supernatural, and other mysterious objects and phenomena. The foundation’s main aims are to secure, contain, and protect people from strange monsters, with only a few exceptions. The SCP Foundation was created in 2007 by a 4chan user named Moto42 and USS Walrus, who wrote SCP-173 as a creepypasta on the paranormal-focused /x/ board.

The SCP Foundation is a shadowy secret society that operates worldwide, consisting of a scientific research institution and a paramilitary intelligence agency to support their goals. They are responsible for capturing, containing, and studying various anomalies, such as the Explained Class anomaly (also known as The Conspiracy) which killed US President John F. Kennedy. The SCP Foundation is also responsible for locating and containing individuals, aliens, places, objects, or even thoughts that break natural law.

One of the most notable anomalies in the SCP Foundation custody is SCP-001, an Explained Class anomaly, which was fired by an unidentifiable number of assailants acting simultaneously as part of one or more groups. The SCP Foundation’s main objectives are to protect people from strange monsters and to prevent the spread of dangerous and unusual events.

What is the SCP that no one knows what it is?

SCP-055’s physical appearance is unknown, and it is not indescribable or invisible. People can observe SCP-055’s container, take notes, sketch, take photographs, and record audio/video recordings. However, information about SCP-055’s appearance “leaks” out of a human mind soon after observation. Those tasked with describing SCP-055 lose interest, and researchers overseeing these tests struggle to remember the photograph. Security personnel who have observed SCP-055 via closed-circuit television cameras emerge exhausted and amnesiac.

The construction of SCP-055’s containment room and the purpose of the Containment Procedures are unknown. Despite SCP-055’s accessibility, all personnel at Site 19 claim no knowledge of its existence when challenged.

Is SCP based on a real thing?

The SCP is a fictional website, not a roleplaying site. The Foundation and its anomalies are fictional, and users are not asked to act in-character while conversing. The memetic hazards are random pictures, and the security warnings are to inform the reader that the Foundation believes these things are important and scary. Users are advised to read everything, including SCP-001 and SCP-2000, to understand the content and avoid potential dangers.

Is SCP good or bad?

The SCP Foundation, a commendable organization, strives to safeguard humanity from potential anomalies that could annihilate us. However, it has also engaged in some actions that are perceived as detrimental.

What is the story behind SCP?

The SCP Foundation is a fictional organization within the SCP Wiki, a collaborative writing project that focuses on capturing, containing, and studying paranormal and supernatural phenomena. The project includes elements of horror, science fiction, and urban fantasy, with most works consisting of thousands of mock confidential scientific reports documenting various SCPs and containment procedures. The SCP Wiki also contains “Foundation Tales”, short stories featuring characters and settings in the SCP universe.

The literary works on the Wiki have been praised for their ability to convey horror through a quasi-scientific and academic writing style, and for their high standards of quality. The SCP universe has inspired numerous fan-made adaptations in various media, including literature, music, short films, and video games.

What does SCP do to you?

The scp (secure copy) command in Linux is a secure method for transferring files between local and remote hosts. It uses the same authentication and security as the Secure Shell (SSH) protocol and is known for its simplicity, security, and pre-installed availability. The Basc syntax of the scp command in Linux includes options, which can modify the behavior of the command, such as specifying an identity file, limiting bandwidth, specifying SSH options, specifying a custom SSH port, and specifying a program for the encrypted connection. The source file or directory can be local or on a remote machine, and the destination can be local or on a remote machine.

What does SCP ● ● ● ● ● ● ● do?

SCP-2521, also known as ●●●●●●●●●●, is a Keter class entity in the SCP Foundation series. It steals information about its nature, primarily in textual or verbal form, registering everything about it through ideograms and pictures. SCP-2521 is a large creature, standing nearly twice the height of a normal human, covered in layers of sticky black tendrils. It despises any written or audible information about it and will do everything in its power to remove or render it unintelligible. If living organisms repeat information about it, SCP-2521 will aggressively attack and kill them.

What is the scariest SCP?

The Foundation contains several strange entities, including SCP-401, a eucalyptus tree made from human body parts, SCP-439, The Bone Hive, SCP-354, The Red Pool, SCP-1128, The Aquatic Horror, and SCP-049. The author is an enthusiast of fantasy and sci-fi, enjoying reading about video games and movies and writing on various subjects. A new Borat Rises is starting as an outlet for podcasts and news. Additionally, ten must-watch films for fall include anticipated dramas, comedies, and thrillers from acclaimed directors and rising talents.

Which theory is SCP based on?

The structure-conduct-performance (SCP) approach, based on neoclassical theory, is a crucial aspect of industrial economics. It postulates causal relationships between market structure, firm conduct, and economic performance. SCP is often used to justify industry policy, particularly in competition policy, which aims to modify or prevent market structures that may promote harmful behavior and performance.

Economics began by investigating local relations between economic quantities, but it eventually became apparent that all economic phenomena are interdependent and interconnected. This approach has been instrumental in understanding the interdependence of economic phenomena and their impact on public interest.

Is SCP 1 real?

There is no official SCP classified as SCP-001, except for SCPs proposed to have the title SCP-001, all listed on the foundation. Major organizations include the Church of the Second Hytoth, Dr. Wondertainment, Gamers Against Weed Global Occult Coalition, Horizon Initiative, Manna Charitable Foundation, Nobody Prometheus Labs, Inc., SCP Foundation (O5 Council), Serpent’s Hand, Three Moons Initiative, Unusual Incidents Unit, Safe SCPs, Euclid SCPs, and others. These SCPs have been listed on various foundations, including the O5 Council, Serpent’s Hand, Three Moons Initiative, and Unusual Incidents Unit.

What SCP is sexualized?

What SCP is sexualized?

SCP-4969-1 hosts experience a burning sensation during bonding, followed by a highly aphrodisiac effect from the bonded SCP-4969. High amounts of dopamine are infused into the host’s system to promote sexual activity, amplifying the pleasure of sexual intercourse. Hosts are prone to wearing SCP-4969 instances constantly due to the narcotic nature of the anomaly. If an SCP-4969-1 instance successfully engages in sexual activity with another human, an outer layer of cells from the bonded SCP-4969 instance will shed off and enter the partner’s bloodstream, initiating the organism’s breeding process.

After two weeks, the partner will show signs of abdominal swelling due to gestation of the shed cells. SCP-4969-2 partners spawn more instances of SCP-4969, with gestation lasting approximately two months per batch. Hosts are often confused, disturbed, and fearful of this process.

Is SCP 666 friendly?

Is SCP 666 friendly?

SCP-666-1 is a mysterious entity that can become increasingly hostile if a subject indulges in its temptations. If left unchecked, it can assault the subject, forcing them to overdose and die if not removed. The working hypothesis suggests that the individual’s willpower and conviction determine whether they will succumb to SCP-666-1. Attempts to interview SCP-666-1 have failed, with the entity either redirecting or refusing to answer. The only statement that reveals anything about its nature was a single instance of “We’re not important here, this is all about you”.

Investigation is ongoing to determine if there are multiple entities attached to SCP-666 or if there are additional instances of SCP-666 in the world. If another instance is discovered, it is to be transferred immediately to Site 73. Nearly identical stories have recently emerged in remote areas of northern Canada describing a “Wendigo Hut”, pointing to at least one additional instance of SCP-666 at large.

  • 5:56 I was happy when I found the “real” story of this SCP. For those who don’t know, she isn’t actually tortured in any way what do ever and it’s treated very very well. The organization needs its operatives to believe she is tortured. Those that are assigned to her “torture” are cycled out regularly and given amnistics at reassignment to continue the rouse. This is done to prevent word getting to the followers of the Scarlet King from finding out she has already given birth and the “child” is likely SCP-999, the Tickle Monster.

  • You missed 3 categories: Neutralized: scp’s that have been destroyed or have lost their anomalous abilities. (I forgot this one’s name): scp’s that are theoretically possible to contain but the foundation can’t do to limited supplies, ethical issues, etc. Appolyon (I’m not sure if I spelled that one right): scp’s that are impossible to contain.

  • My theory is that all scps are Trevor Henderson creatures. My first example is that Trevor as a young adult made hybrid and stuff, then he started making more dangerous for example, scp 682 is like a fusion between a dead body and a crocodile. The only reason why Trevor might know siren head than the others is because the foundation would use mind wipers, which would wipe his memory then he would make some kind of cure for this and would realise his mistakes and stop making horrid monsters that kill with no hesitation.

  • To further understand the containment levels (Which has nothing to do on how dangerous the anomaly is): SAFE = Put it inside the box, and we’re good EUCLID = Put it inside the box, but we’re not sure what will happen next KETER = Put it inside the box, but it keeps on escaping THAUMIEL = I am the box APPOLYON = Who needs the box? We’re already screwed, anyways

  • Thank you for classifying the scp classifications correctly. Many newcomers assume that safe, Euclid and keter classes relate to how dangerous they are. And while for the most part, this does reflect accurately, it doesnt hold up every time. My favorite example of a safe clas scp being extremely dangerous is known as SCP-498 “the 11 minute snooze” which is an alarm clock with only one functional button. The snooze button. Every 11 minutes, the alarm will sound, starting off at a standard 30 decibels of volume and increases gradually by 4 decibels every 10 seconds that pass. Essentially. It will get to a point where this alarm clock will literally shake the earth apart. But of course. Its safe because of how easy it is to contain. Just press the snooze button every 11 minutes. Simple as that.

  • To: SCP Foundation Txt: I had a book titled “Scary Stories to tell in the Dark” which it seem is SCP of some kind. The SCP I called “a Book” (book is black in cover and holds white letters). The stories of the book comes to life itself in reality when someone read them. Stories are scary and you must read all the stories and sell the book to other person to break the curse. The book was sold from me to my brother, but to who he sell the book is mistery for me. Probably ‘a book’ is somewhere in Poznań (Poland), cuz every item vanished from me appeared in there. In Gdańsk you will have another SCP – ‘a trashcan’, which is portal to “Shadow World”. I don’t know where it stands, SORRY, so you must find it. Good luck 😁D people

  • According to the story of the scp foundation, the pregnant woman was one of seven “brides of the scarlet king” and unlike the other 6 she was not fully ‘broken’ for the procedure and instead of giving birth to a “world ending anomaly, she actually gave birth to scp-999. But the story of her torture is maintained so the cult that follows the scarlet king aren’t tempted to try again. They suspect 999 is not fully grown and when it is it will take down the scarlet king…… I binge watch articles about the scp foundation….. it’s kinda sad

  • Man, I feel bad for 2662. It just wants to live like a human but it’s hard to do that when people develop cults simply by being near it for too long and it has no control over these actions. I’d be pretty appalled too if people suddenly made cults and sacrifices for me just because they were too close to me.

  • Death is a horseman of the apocalypse, normally shown as a plague doctor. it is also a primordial being and does not like other horsemen. The Pestilence is the name of another horseman. it particularly tries to kill other horsemen, too, so if it reanimates the dead to make an army, it may be trying to lure out War and Conquest, two other horsemen.

  • At this point which is scarier… Being stuck in a dimension for centuries completely severed from reality where age, hunger and natural requirements are completely disabled where there is no escape & no one knows you’re there, they just know you are gone and your body slowly decomposes from the inside out with your only physical contact being a red light, or an angy white dog And so begins the war between SCP-3001 & SCP-1111

  • Fact: The SCP Foundation is a fictional organization documented by the web-based collaborative-fiction project of the same name. Within the website’s fictional setting, the SCP Foundation is responsible for locating and containing individuals, entities, locations, and objects that violate natural law (referred to as SCPs). The real-world website is community-based and includes elements of many genres such as horror, science fiction, and urban fantasy. The SCP Meaning is Secure,Contain and Protect.

  • 999 is so cute! This article: sike, this is now poop Btw imma explain some of the scp they didn’t explain too well. Scp-3008 is a ikea that is infinite, once you get in and lost sight of the entrance, the entrance seemingly disappears. The ikea is infinite due to the fact that all testing of how long the ikea is has all failed. Also there is a civilization of humans trapped in the ikea. The faceless people will only turn violent and hostile when the stor closes. Scp-049 often experiment on “healing” his victim. All attempt have failed, often the victim which he experimented on will somehow turn into zombie called scp-049-2 which are extremely hostile. Scp-106 seems to have a pocket dimension in which he can travel from place to place.

  • The newest scp is a cute person who hides baby versions of himself, he is also known as kurt hummels brother aka Jordan cunningham ! He vlogs from his cell but is not dangerous enough to be contained fully so is allowed to leave at will, but returns onley to hide babies in the scps secret base, where they since Jordan capture, are cared for, grow up and eventually recruited in companies staff…, he forms the first new class of its kind : the cute class, because according to some he looks adorable Just today learned of this scp meme, so I thought I add a story! 😆

  • That explains something, on my way to drill back 6or 7 years ago. I was getting coffee before driving to my unit. And I saw some strange uniforms. The looks we gave each was priceless. I didn’t want to know what they were up too. And I was just a regular army reservist. Long story short I got my coffee and left. I seriously didn’t to know then or now. It was just funny, now thinking back.

  • When SCP-096 was transported to the Foundation it was tested on SCP-682 and SCP-096 is in fact scared of the rotten lizard even tough its stronger. His first encounter was painful but he survived it with ease. SCP-096 got killed by making the statue break a few of his bones to make it weak and then they injected acid into SCP-096 wich caused his body to get destroyed from inside.

  • How do you think SCP049 feels about not being able to touch anything without killing them? I think most of the scps who are more related to humans are just misunderstood to such a level that they’ve developed an undying rage towards us. Just because they look or act different, are we sure we are the good guys here? Do they have friends, a family?

  • I disagree with all the negative comments. I think it was a great article. I appreciate the fact that you didn’t come at us claiming it to be absolute truth. A lot of the scary stuff that we seek out online no matter how convincing it is is actually not true. We seek it out for the entertainment value for the most part. And in between there is some legitimate really creepy things going on in our world. This world is a lot stranger than we have been led to believe. Though I do not think this organization is real, I don’t dismiss anything anymore without proof one way or the other. Anything is possible in this weird world. Keep up the good work! I enjoy your articles, and I think people are forgetting about the entertainment value of these types of articles. It’s not much different than seeking out a horror movie.

  • I wonder what would happen if the entire of Site-19 was duplicated? As in, a second one appeared out of thin air, exactly the same as the original. Not an evil version, not a twisted version, just a second building with all the Staff, SCPs and equipment inside. SCP-049 meets SCP-049. Doctor Bright meets Doctor Bright. All the portals and suits and monsters and staff, and now there’s two of them. Is that a good idea?

  • Honestly… in a world as boring and depressing as this, it would be amazing if something like this was real. And to some extent I believe it is… emphasis on some extent. I’m namely looking at UFO sightings as well as bigfoot / dogman ones: They’re so commonplace that interviews about people who swear they’ve seen them and describe that in great detail are everywhere… I’ve listened to and analyzed several of them, too many people who can’t be all liars as well as such good actors at it. Obviously the government feigns ignorance, but we all know they’d be all too aware… especially with many of those stories involving soldiers approaching or trailing people who go looking for sightings and sometimes up encountering a military base.

  • There really is such an organization, but it’s not as exaggerated as this article. There are certain objects that have a paranormal presents too them and they are archived away in a government facility. Certain objects such as cursed dolls, ouiji boards, books, paintings etc. There are people who study such objects for a living.

  • dude!! After perusal a couple of these articles I can see the potential for a whole new generation of horror movies!! The monsters and entities are excellent!! Super scary, just like the monsters of those 80’s movies. The possibilites are endless!! Even with all those rumors this foundation exists and all, a little attempt at credibility at least. I love it!!!

  • good article but i found quite a few Major details that they either left out or did not know at the time as well as some false ish information, first of all scp 049 is mosty compliant, yes, but he has escaped containment multiple times to continue research about the “petulance” as the foundation often takes away his D-class privileges. Another less known fact is that SCP 682, SCP 999, and scp 231 are all connected with SCP 001 the scarlet king, scp 999 and scp 682 were both childeren of the Scarlet King who is an eternal being driven on the destruction of ALL life and the ending of its own life after that, much like SCP 682, and completely unlike both of them, the apple fell FAR FAR FAR away from the tree when the instance of SCP 231, known as 231-7(one of the 7 women empregnated by the Scarlet King via the cult known as the “Childeren of the Scarlet King”) gave birth to none other then SCP 999 when the o5 council decided to stop using the inhumane 110 Montauk procedures. Another thing which i CANNOT ignore is the restrictions supposedly placed on the Class A foundation members, as the O5 council can come into contact with ANY scp they please and Often have SCPs that them and only them can access. another thing is that they are Immoral due to multiple different SCP effects and sometimes the fact that every one of them IS an SCP themselves(except O5-13 in some accounts). another thing is that they left out the Administrator, kinda major but not much to be said about him so its kinda acceptable.

  • The SCP Foundation does what it must to protect humanity. Also you forgot the Apollyon class. It’s the one above Thaumiel. And you are wrong about the 05 Council being the highest ranking members of the foundation. The Administrator keeps the foundation running, has lived for thousands of years, founded the foundation, and prevents the foundation from being destroyed.

  • I will say this one time and one time only: Long Horse is not an scp. Trevor Henderson’s creations are specifically seperate to the scp foundation. I cannot believe how many people think just because they’re monsters they are scps. Siren head is not an scp. Cartoon cat and cartoon dog are not scps. Bridge worm is not an scp. Etc. I’m probably overreacting and it’s not a big problem, just something I noticed and wanted to make sure you knew.

  • An artist has no right to demand an individual with legitimately obtained copies (which is essentially what SCP is) to destroy those copies because the author is dissatisfied, either with the art or the individual. I think I know what’s going on behind the scenes, but that has no bearing on the continued existence of the art. What people somehow don’t realize in this day and age is that once your stuff is on the internet, it’s there. And there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it.

  • I think my only problem with this article is a statement at the end: “Necessarily there are friends of this person, and those friends should continue to try and get through to them.” Not to say this is an incorrect statement, but I’m putting this down here as someone who was friends with someone like this. Yes, if you believe someone can be convinced and pulled back from their harmful behaviors and thought processes, keep trying to get through to them. However, to anyone who’s reading this and going through this problem or one like it with a different person: please do not feel obligated to do so just because they are your friend. It is your decision who you remain friends with, and if someone’s harmful behaviors are harming you in any way, if anything, you have an obligation to yourself to defend yourself in the ways you see fit. That’s a scary situation to be in, but if you are dealing with someone who will not change regardless of how many times you ask them or what evidence you provide to contradict their theories about life and the world at large, I guarantee you that you will be harmed more by your attempts to convince them they are wrong than they or the people they are targeting will be when they continue to believe they are right. Some people can be changed, and some people can’t. I implore those who are friends of people like Harmony to take a step back from the situation and evaluate seriously whether or not their friend is one that can change or one that will not change.

  • Personally I can’t understand why they even considered deleting anything. Best thing in CC-licensed collaborative writing projects should be the trust that the creators can afford towards the already submitted material. Why would SCPWiki knowingly break that trust? There’s two ways this kind of collaborative project can work: 1) License is everything. Enforce the license without exceptions. 2) Adopt a release cycle that allows for breakage of canon, but otherwise treat every release in a “license is everything” -manner. Could you see Debian removing a package from their repos because the coder of the app is butthurt?

  • Little do we know, the second we delete those works, PixelatedHarmony will reupload them under her new account. It’s all part of keikaku. On a serious note, my actual opinion on this is that people should have control over their own content. If she wanted to nuke her shit, let her and then forget about it. It’s technically her loss. If the new shit she writes is bad, then just let her know as you would anyone. Keep chugging along and do regular procedures like nothing happened so neither she nor anyone would have a reason to be suspicious of you, because it’s not like either side tried to do anything wrong deliberately.

  • Your theoretical thoughts on fictional scp paradoxical logics intrigues me to the point of founding a creative branch of a wiki that gets to a theoretical concept of infinity. This could be a grand way of causing answers on these theoretic leaps on logic through creative concepts beyond the relm of real creations and the reason of it all???…

  • Ok let me see if I can understand this- 1. There is some conflict between Harmony and the SCP staff causing Harmony to leave the site. 2. Harmony requests that her articles/stories on the site be deleted. 3. The SCP staff puts the request up for a vote and it’s decided the articles would stay. 4. Harmony gets upset at this and claims there’s some sort of “shadow cabal” conspiracy involving the SCP staff. And I’m just sitting here going “Wait, what?”.

  • I mean, I don’t find her original comment all the objectionable to be honest. Scathing to be sure, but she has a VERY good point when it comes to the guide. It’s titled “how to use x” and boils down to “just don’t”. I read that guide myself and… While I may agree with many points about black boxing being pretty terrible for containment procedures, I also feel that it was too harsh. Black boxing should still be used for potentially sensitive information in appended materials, such as interviews, recordings, etc. Identifying personal information and restricted information should be omitted from the document itself entirely, but SHOULD be included in black box in interviews and recordings if for no other reason than for realism. I’ve transcribed audio before, and almost everything I’ve ever transcribed has had at least one redaction of personal information, generally a last name. The foundation may be morally grey, but there is plenty of evidence that they still value privacy. THAT BEING SAID. If there were so many problems with Harmony before hand, this shouldn’t have been the trigger for revocation. It’s too small an issue in my opinion. Action should have been taken before it got to the point where they needed a comment as an excuse to escalate the issue.

  • Well the statement Harmony said about “seek you out and hold you accountable” ( youtube.com/watch?v=NJavXCs4wGA&t=7m2s ) was at best questionable and in some part of the US could be viewed as a threat which could, depending on how the local legal authority viewed it, incur possible action.

  • You said that we shouldn’t speculate about another person’s mental health since most of us are in no way qualified to do so. You are not, and I am not, and even if I were, I couldn’t speculate considering that I have never personally spoken to Harmony and don’t know much about her. But let’s do it anyway. I personally was not aware that Roget – a name that I have seen on the wiki a lot – goes by the name Harmony now, I did not know that they changed their gender/gender identity et cetera. I only just found out that she wants to delete her articles and tales. Now there are of course multiple reasons for why. Maybe you want to distance yourself from the SCP franchise or concept because you are sick of it. Maybe you want to distance yourself from the wiki or its administration – like Fishmonger did. Both reasons can I think be ruled out here because the post where Harmony said that she wants to give her works “to the community” strongly imply that she still likes the wiki, especially because she still planned on beimg part of the wiki as pixelatedharmony, right? So the only reason I can think of is that Harmony kind of wanted to do a fresh restart after the “trans-thing” (is there a way of saying that without sounding transphobic?). I don’t know enough to be sure about this of course, and I feel horribly shallow saying that – but as far as I know, many trans people have to struggle with their “past lives” in the form of pronouns and first names. I can imagine that if you want to have a complete fresh start and cut ties to who you were forced to be in the past, then that tbis might also, for Harmony, include cutting ties to her “Roget”-persona.

  • Real quick can you talk about this tale? scp-wiki.wikidot.com/the-lizard-in-harmony because it’s… a pretty gross tale about Harmony (as visible from the title) that equates her to being a lizard from the inside for what she’s done. Though acknowledging that she’s not a good person by a long shot, “lizard person inside of someone bad” absolutely sounds transphobic considering how history portrayed trans people— and I scarce believe that this is not only actually on the site— but upvoted by the likes of Rounderhouse, ARD, and DJkaktus; who are all prolific authors and somehow still endorsed this hateboner-fic of a tale. Now anyone would hate Harmony right now (especially when I personally know who she’s been threatening behind the scenes) and anyone has the right to despise her at any given point, but this is taking a step way too far. I know we haven’t interacted for a year but if anyone can get the word out about this, it’s you.

  • So a certain someone went through with a certain ill-advised series of actions and their mental health proceeded to swirl around the drain, and they proceeded to try to leverage their state for social capital (in the form of victimhood points) in order to “pay off” the consequences. How entirely unsurprising. That being said, an author – no matter how mentally ill – has every right to delete their creations from a place they have put them, unless the ownership of these creations has been transferred. As far as I am concerned, the SCP wiki (corrupt den of scumsuckery that it is) has no legal ownership of its submissions. I also don’t think there’s any need for a shadow group or a conspiracy to take over or undermine SCP. The figureheads haven’t changed, but the figureheads have grown complacent, the community has grown bloated and rotten.

  • Why is it all the trans women of their generation I hear about or interact with seem to have such bad vibes? Obviously not all trans women are like this just the noticeable ones who make it obvious who they are for some reason vibe so badly and it bewilders me I wish I didn’t see this pattern can I get like a trans persons perspective if any are reading this?
