What Is Situated Above The Chakra Of The Throat?

The throat chakra, also known as Vishuddha or the fifth chakra, is the fifth energy center in the body and is associated with the color blue. It is located above the Heart Chakra and below the Third Eye Chakra and is connected to communication and speaking one’s inner truth. The Vishuddha chakra is situated at the base of the throat, at the center of the larynx. It is responsible for governing the anatomical regions of the thyroid, parathyroid, jaw, neck, mouth, and the larynx.

The throat chakra is our Will center, both personal and divine will, and is responsible for making choices that lead us on our spiritual journey. It is also associated with the function of the lungs, thyroid, throat, voice box, and inferior cervical ganglion. The Vishuddha chakra, meaning “to purify”, is the fifth chakra in the body, located on the neck at the throat.

To heal or open the throat chakra, it is essential to practice meditation, practice deep breathing exercises, and practice meditation techniques. Additionally, it is important to consult a healthcare professional if you experience any symptoms of a blocked Throat Chakra.

What is the higher throat chakra?

The fifth chakra in the system, the throat, is responsible for communication and creativity. It represents the symbolic world of the mind and is the starting point of the “upper chakras” which focus on manifestation. The throat chakra creates unique sound and is essential for voicing individual needs and truth. Without it, a person’s needs might not be met or they may have bottled up feelings. The throat chakra creates a sense of community through sound and communication, and is active in all aspects of life.

When balanced and open, individuals experience clear communication, a resonant voice, good listening skills, creativity, and a good sense of timing and rhythm. They are confident speakers and creative in their words. Conversely, when the throat chakra is closed off, individuals may struggle to express their needs and desires, leading to feelings of bottled up feelings and a lack of fulfillment.

How to calm an overactive throat chakra?

To facilitate the cleansing and balancing of the throat chakra, it is recommended to close the eyes, visualize a blue light enveloping the chakra, and engage in deep breathing. Inhale and exhale in a slow and controlled manner, allowing any negative impurities to be released. Repeating the throat chakra affirmations serves to disrupt existing patterns and facilitate the formation of new, more beneficial ones. This practice encourages equilibrium and reprograms negative beliefs, thereby promoting a healthier and more effective lifestyle.

What emotions block the throat chakra?

Unbalanced throat chakras can lead to emotional issues such as depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem, which can be worsened by unable to express these feelings. This imbalance is often associated with the inability to speak, with feelings of lumps in the throat or a catch in the voice. Fear of speaking in public or speaking in low voices can also manifest. A blocked vishuddha chakra may make it difficult to defend oneself, express opinions, or state choices.

In contrast, an imbalance in the opposite direction may be indicated by excessive talking or rambling without a clear point, inappropriate language, or misstatements. If you find yourself interrupting or dominating conversations, it may be necessary to tone down the vishuddha energy. To address these issues, it is essential to seek ways to balance the throat chakra and improve communication skills.

What is the rarest chakra release?

Wind Release is a rare nature transformation that allows users to cut through anything. It can be channeled into Chakra Blades, exhaled from the user’s mouth, or generated with the user’s hands for precision strikes. It can be further enhanced by compressing or layering different wind streams together. Wind Release can launch particles into the air, creating dust clouds or sand storms. Naruto Uzumaki adds Wind Release to the Rasengan for throwing it.

Temari generates wind by waving her Giant Folding Fan, which Kamatari rides towards opponents. Wind Release is naturally strong against Lightning Release and weak against Fire Release. When combined with Water Release, it increases the damage and coverage area of the water. When combined with other natures, certain kekkei genkai are produced, such as Ice Release, Scorch Release, Magnet Release, and Dust Release. Despite its rarity, the wind nature is common in Sunagakure ninja forces, with fans being a common trait among their forces.

  • Nice article. I have a really overactive throat chakra: really loud voice that I’ve been using to get attention for many years…I also talk over others, because what I have to say is the truth. I can be really mean verbally, I’m not afraid to offend people if I find them stupid or something. In these situations it all just flows out of me, I have no control: I say everything, stuff other people never dare to say. Now I think the situation has culminated to disease: my whole throat area suffers chronic inflammation. I can barely eat some porridge. But still I’m happy to find all these problems I have may be related to throat chakra, now I know how to target my practices to heal the vishuddhi. I really need to soften, many people say that to me, but I feel as if it’s impossible, there is so much resentment inside of me. I hope to get results from meditation on the heart.

  • Since two days ago after listening to an arcturian throat chakra activation article my lips have been spasming. They started spasming immediately upon hearing the article’s sounds and now they spasm sporadically. Did I overstimulate it? Can you help me to rebalance it? Or recommend a article to balance it again? I do grind my teeth at night, have been having jaw pain and eat pain, and a sore throat, but I have hypothyroidism. (I think it is well – managed, though, because I am thin) Thank you for your very informative article!

  • Hello Vicki! I love your articles, they are really helpful. All my life I’ve been having problems with my throat. First it was my cervical, then tonsillitis which I had to get a surgery for. Then hypothyroidism, which developed in an autoimmune disease called Hashimoto. I have been on medication for over five years now but my doctors have discovered that I have a tumor which they cannot know if it is bening or cancer, so perhaps I will have to have another surgery. I have never thought that all of this could be because of my fifth chakra. I thank you for sharing your knowledge. And I would like to ask you for advice for my situation. Thanks again and sorry for my English. A big hug from Argentina!

  • Vicki, I just got a job and we are training in customer service calls the manager asked a other trainee if she wants her to move my area because she can hear me all the way across the room. I’ve always had a loud voice. I thought mine was balanced why do I feel like a odd ball for having a voice that carries. Do you think mine is overactive? You talked to me on the phone before I don’t know if you remember.

  • Thank you so much for this article! I was really looking forward to hearing these cuz i know i talk way too much. Its interesting with the tonsillitis. I have always had tonsillitis problems as a child & teen. Its only since I’ve been housebound that i haven’t had tonsillitis… Now its ear infections i get constantly. I have a theory.. I don’t know this is right so if you could help me out if im wrong i would really appreciate it. Im finding I’m over active in 2rd, 4th,5th & 6th & i have the majority of the signs in those for all of them. My 7th is average but my 1st & 3rd is in the – 50s range. Would that mean im actually a higher vibration in energy overall & i have 2 chakras to really work on? Or is everything out of whack & i need to work on all of them? I also have fibromyalgia & I’d love to find someone who understand that illness with the chakras because i am convinced that isn’t a coincidence. I feel everything on a physical level & i also feel the energy in a physical feeling around those chakras. It would help if you could advice me on this. Thank you again for sharing all of this with us. You’re helping me so much on so many levels & i imagine its the same for so many of us.
