What Is The Astrology Of My Descent?

In astrology, the Descendant (DC) is an angular point located at the beginning of the 7th house in the birth chart. It is often believed to represent interpersonal style and the qualities that make someone fall in love with them. The descendant sign calculator can help identify your descendant sign using your birth details, providing a hassle-free experience.

The Descendant is on the opposite side of the zodiac wheel from your ascendant, at the top of the seventh house. It is the point in your natal chart that indicates partnership compatibility, including major soul mate energy. This may explain why your “relationship personality” feels different from your solo time personality.

The Descendant is on the cusp of the 7th astrological house, which represents others. The 7th House defines our relationship with others and is the point in your natal chart that indicates partnership compatibility. Beyond the moon and the moon, the Descendant is more reflected in our relationships with others or our “shadow self”, a side of us that comes out in our close interpersonal relationships.

A specific Descendant sign in your natal chart indicates the type of relationships and partnerships you are naturally inclined to attract and engage with. It is the “you” point in the horoscope, representing the qualities you seek in significant partnerships, including marriage, business partnerships, and other significant relationships.

Just as our ascendant sign marks the cusp of our first house of self, the descendant represents the cusp of our seventh house of partnerships. Your Descendant sign indicates the qualities that you’re attracted to in other people, often the exact opposite qualities that you yourself possess. By understanding your descendant sign, you can better understand your romantic, marriage, and professional relationships, as well as the qualities that you seek in significant partnerships.

Which house tells you who your soulmate is?

The perfect soul mate is someone who comes together in a significant relationship for each other’s growth and well-being, filled with light and love. These relationships grow physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mature minds, completing their life journey. Vedic Astrology helps find these soul mates by analyzing the 7th house, which is the house of partnership, whether life or business.

The presence of benefic planets like Jupiter or Venus can lead to more positive experiences in a relationship, while malefic planets like Saturn, Mars, or the Sun can result in negative experiences. Other houses and factors help determine ideal or spiritual experiences with partners. The 5th house, which represents past lines and romance, signifies love marriage and spiritual practices.

The 9th house, which is the house of good fortune, beliefs, and mysterious deeds, helps an astrologer find a soul mate. If the 7th house makes connection with the 9th house, it is considered auspicious and helps raise up the experience of partnership. The 12th house, which is the house of loss, spiritual, and meditation, can indicate ideal love in the long run.

To find a soul mate, astrologers use techniques such as Dasha System and Gochar to determine when the 7th house Karma will be activated. The dasha of the 7th lord or a planet sitting in the 7th house activates the timing with the partner, and Gochar rectifies it or gives perfection to the timing.

In terms of partnership, the horoscope of both partners is equally important to find the best results. The partner must have the desire and ability to surrender ego and unconditional love to ensure the relationship survives. Therefore, it is crucial to prepare for a “Soul Mate” to make each other’s life heaven rather than finding them outside the world.

Who are your Descendant?

A descendant is a member of an individual’s direct family line, either by blood or adoption. They can be an heir and receive money and property by default under Illinois law. To disinherit a descendant, their intent must be properly documented. Descendants are part of the direct bloodline, making it difficult to disinherit them.

A beneficiary is someone who is part of a stated plan and designated to receive money or property through written documents such as wills, trusts, retirement accounts, or insurance policy beneficiary designation forms. A valid legal document must be in place to communicate the intent.

A common question about beneficiaries is whether pets can be named as beneficiaries. Currently, the law does not allow pets to be named as beneficiaries, but Illinois allows a trust to be created to benefit a pet, with the trust named as the beneficiary of an account or property.

How do you find your Descendant in astrology?

Astrology determines the compatibility of a match based on the Ascendant and Descendant, which are opposite signs. The Ascendant is Virgo, the Descendant is Pisces, and vice versa. The Ascendant and Descendant mirror each other, meaning opposites attract. If you’re a Virgo Rising and your crush is a Pisces Rising, you’re compatible. If they’re in harmony, a strong connection can be formed, supporting each other regardless of their birth chart. For example, if you’re a Virgo Rising and your crush is a Taurus Rising, both earth signs, you’re compatible.

Is your Descendant sign your soulmate?

The descendant sign in astrology is a crucial point in a person’s natal chart, indicating partnership compatibility, including major soul mate energy. It is located on the opposite side of the zodiac wheel to the rising sign, and is considered the most important point in understanding relationship dynamics. The ascendant, the opposite sign, influences how one expresses or portrays their energy, while the descendant is what is drawn in terms of relationships.

Both the descendant and ascendant work together to discern a self/others dynamic, with the descendant ruling over the house of partnerships, committed relationships, and marriage. The ascendant may fundamentally value the same principles as the ascendant, but goes about it differently. This is why the descendant is considered the most important point in understanding our relationship dynamics.

Is your 7th house your Descendant?

The 7th house, located on the opposite side of the ascendant, is known as the descendant and is where we team up and get to know ourselves through interactions. Its goal is to create a balance of two forces. Marriage, as a concept, was not the ultimate way to combine and balance these forces until modern times. In the past, marriage was a contractual agreement that united two families. AstroTwins emphasize the importance of teamwork and mutual give-and-take in achieving this balance.

  • I find my descendant interesting and a bit confusing: it is in Leo, a few degrees from my moon (tension) – the moon is a couple of degrees under the desc, though, and my theory is this is actually quite nice – since the 6th house is still ruled by Cancer, the house ruler would be the moon I definitely give nurturing and need to be nurtured; something I didn’t get from my Leo mom or Leo moon dad, so I’m glad cancer ruling my 6th house is helping out there! And yes, absolutely, I tried to be the opposite of my parents and repressed my Leo qualities – they’re finally coming out! It’s a little scary LOL but it feels good

  • Great and informative article! I was brought to your article because I had a person very suddenly and strongly enter my life. I discovered my ascendant is conjunct their descendant and they are both being transited by Pluto right now in Capricorn. I’ve been trying to figure out how that’s gonna play out, because so far it’s been a roller coaster of a relationship.

  • Hey Tara, guess what? I am a scorpio rising with mars in my taurus descendant. Old astrology, I follow mars as my chart ruler and not pluto. Mars and Venus are both in my Taurus descendant and they are conjunction with each other in my taurus descendant. Yep, mars as scorpio rising is in my taurus descendant while venus is also in my taurus descendant where venus needs to be at but mars not so, however the two planets are in conjunction.

  • So if I take on these traits that I need will these people disappear from my life so that I will meet people I actually prefer? I am so sick and tired of running into user types. I have a Virgo rising, pisces descendant and it’s awful. I always end up doing everything for whomever comes into my life and I’m tired. They’re always irresponsible and unreliable and I end being so disappointed in having met them. I’m sick of it and sick of them. I need to know how I can get rid of these people and stop attracting them for good.
