In the final battle against Naruto, Sasuke Uchiha uses Ninjutsu absorption to defeat Kinshiki and Taijutsu. He also possesses an uncommon skill in Naruto lore: the ability to use all five fundamental Nature Transformations. Sasuke masters fire jutsu, which is popular in the series.
Sage Mode is an empowered state that can be entered by blending natural energy with one’s chakra, creating senjutsu chakra. This ability allows users to tap into the natural force of the world, opening up new possibilities. Sasuke has used this ability sparingly due to its draining nature and the element of surprise.
Naruto and Sasuke used the chakra liquid that connected them to launch a statue at their enemy, essentially becoming a human slingshot. The technique was used to avoid being out of Chakra and make him more formidable to take down, potentially beating Momoshiki.
Sasuke had multiple opportunities to take Naruto out if he had used his jutsu with strategy. He had the Preta Path not Blocking Technique Absorption Seal, which shuts down ninjutsu. Sasuke was able to absorb the chakra of all bijuu’s to perform his PS, while Kaguya was able to absorb chakra from every shinobi to perform ETSB.
When Sasuke’s chakra reserves drop to extremely low levels, the Tomoe appears as a standard Rinnegan, but he cannot absorb the jutsu due to the time required for the absorption process. Although preta might be able to absorb chakra, it is not instant.
📹 Why Sasuke Never Uses His Rinnegan Abilities
Sasuke Uchiha awakened the Rinnegan during the Naruto War Arc, but unfortunately he never uses his Rinnegan abilities.
Why can’t Sasuke use 6 paths?
Sasuke’s success in the series is largely due to his proficiency in jutsu and visual prowess with the Mangekyo Sharingan. However, he could potentially save up some of the Six Paths for use when necessary, as he has effectively used the Deva and Preta Paths in relevant situations, rivaling even the Sage of Six Paths. Despite not fully utilizing the Rinnegan’s abilities in his main fighting style, Sasuke’s main fighting style does not fully utilize the Rinnegan’s abilities, and it is likely that the extent of his strength has not been revealed to fans. This could potentially slow down Sasuke’s progress and hinder his overall strategy.
Who has unlimited chakra in Naruto?
Kaguya, a Ten-Tails jinchuriki with considerable chakra, was the sole character in Naruto capable of creating a Truth-Seeking Ball of sufficient magnitude to annihilate the planet. This exemplified her proficiency in Kekkei Moro techniques and her capacity to utilize her substantial chakra.
Why does Sasuke have no chakra?
Sasuke Uchiha, a reincarnation of Indra Ōtsutsuki, was born with immense chakra reserves and strength. He later received half of Hagoromo’s power, acquiring the powerful Six Paths Chakra, which gave him immeasurable chakra reserves, potency, and great vitality. Urashiki Ōtsutsuki commented on the strength of the chakra he stole from Sasuke. However, if Sasuke uses demanding abilities too much, he can become low in chakra.
In this state, his Rinnegan’s tomoe vanishes, and he can still use Ninjutsu like Chidori, the Great Fireball Technique, Amaterasu, and Amenotejikara. Despite being low in chakra, Sasuke is at least Kage level, as he was almost able to one-shot Shin Uchiha.
What chakra type is Sasuke?
Shinobi, a type of martial art, learns to combine chakra natures to create elements as they age. However, only a few master the rare Wood Style, which allows for the combination of Water and Earth chakra types. Sasuke, an adult, can use Lightning, Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth chakra types, often using them alone or combining them. One example is combining Water and Wind Release to create his own form of ice.
The Peregrine Falcon Drop, a hand-to-hand combat move, resembles a wrestling move, where the user grabs a falling opponent’s ankles, wraps their legs around them, and immobilizes them. This move is one of the earliest hand-to-hand combat moves seen in the anime, indicating Sasuke’s dangerous nature. Fans often compare it to real-life pile drivers used in wrestling.
Is Sasuke weak without Rinnegan?
The Rinnegan endows Sasuke with augmented physical strength, though this capacity has been temporarily suspended, rather than entirely removed. This indicates that Sasuke retains the physical strength associated with the Rinnegan, but if this strength were to be removed, the Amplification of the Rinnegan would also be removed from him.
Why didn t Sasuke learn Sage Jutsu?
Sasuke, in contrast to the Uchiha Clan, lacks the elemental chakra and water and earth natures necessary for acquiring Hashirama’s Sage Mode, which necessitates the wood style justu and fire, the sole elements present within the Uchiha Clan.
Can Sasuke absorb Naruto chakra?
Sasuke is capable of absorbing chakra, though this process requires close proximity to Naruto, who must maintain a distance to avoid being affected. Even in the event of close-combat taijutsu, it is not feasible for Sasuke to absorb chakra within the limited time frame.
Is Sasuke immune to talk no jutsu?
The TnJ (Taijutsu-ji) is a powerful technique that can be passed down through generations, with descendants like Asura Hashirama and Naruto possessing natural TnJ talent, while Indra descendants Madara and Sasuke are mostly impervious. Boruto inherits his father’s ability. Asura Ōtsutsuki, son of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, is considered the inventor of TnJ. His friendly personality and mantra of relying on others for strength led to his success in developing TnJ, which set up the Naruto universe.
Asura’s success led to Hagoromo choosing him as his successor, leading to Indra’s jealousy and betrayal, leading to their continuous reincarnations as Hashirama, Madara, Naruto, and Sasuke. Asura’s failure in TnJ -ing Indra – was the first recorded failure of the technique. Naruto Uzumaki’s TnJ is considered the most successful in the Naruto universe, with a near 100 success rate, breaking Madara Uchiha and Noelle Holiday.
Itachi, the only known person to successfully use TnJ against Naruto, managed to convince him not to shoulder everything himself. This innate strength is likely due to Naruto being a descendant of Asura, the creator of the original TnJ thousands of years ago.
Does Naruto still have more chakra than Sasuke?
Naruto and Sasuke are equal in chakra control, but their reserves are not equal. Naruto, born into the Uzumaki Clan, has significantly more chakra reserves than an average shinobi and is the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails. Sasuke, on the other hand, has significantly more chakra reserves but still doesn’t compare to Naruto. Both Naruto and Sasuke started as ninjas, with Sasuke being a genius and Naruto being below average. However, through training, Naruto made Kurama’s power his own and reached Sasuke’s level.
By the Fourth Great Ninja War, both Naruto and Sasuke were strong enough to fight Kaguya Otsutsuki and Madara Uchiha. It is believed that in the Boruto era, they are equal in overall fighting ability. Sasuke’s true power lies in his visual prowess and the kekkei genkai of the Sharingan, which evolved into the Mangekyo Sharingan.
Why doesn t Boruto have Uzumaki chakra?
Boruto, a quarter Uzumaki, has above-average chakra reserves due to his ability to effortlessly generate three shadow clones, despite not possessing small chakra reserves.
Why can’t Kakashi use Sage mode?
Sage Mode, a rare yet powerful technique in the series, is a logical decision for only certain characters. Kakashi’s Chakra reserves are among the lowest in the series, primarily due to his active Sharingan. Madara could have acquired the sage arts, but his lack of summoning animals prevented him from learning it. Senjutsu, a rare yet powerful technique, is revered due to its rarity and power-scaling system. Other characters have unique techniques, such as Sasuke’s Mangekyo Sharingan and Sakura’s Hundred Healings Technique, while Naruto lacks such abilities.
Sage Mode is heavily attributed to Naruto and his arsenal, and giving it to every other character would take away its place as Naruto’s trump card. Therefore, granting Sage Mode to only certain characters is a logical decision to maintain the novelty surrounding the sage arts.
📹 How Ninjutsu Absorption Is Destroying The Naruto Franchise
Ninjutsu absorption is destroying the Naruto franchise. Absorbing chakra was establised early on in the Sasuke vs Yoroi fight, and …
To be fair, Sasuke could simply throw a shuriken or kunai right in front of him and make it switch places with the enemy for an ensured hit, or could simply fill a room with various items and make the enemy switch places with them at will to both confuse them and for them to not predict when the hit will land. Quite the OP technique
I think the easiest explanation is just that it does not fit his preferred fighting style. In real life, fighters also have their own style and way of fighting. They probably know how to do other techniques that are really good, but just choose not to use them. Sasuke prefers using his fire and lightning and getting in close with his sword. The base rinnegan abilities don’t fit with that, but his unique rinnegan ability does, which is why he uses that all the time.
An Uchiha having the Rinnegan, destroyed its unqiueness. It was supposed to be something known from the Sage of the Six Paths. It should have been connected with descendants of him without bringing in Uchiha since they were already wanked the whole series. Uzumaki or Senju having this ability, although very rarely, would’ve been better. Once they made Uchiha have the rinnegan too, they ruined it. Pain surprised so many at first because he had this mysterious powerful new eye, that was carried by the Sage, and it wasn’t even a Sharingan nor was he an Uchiha. It made him really seem like he was from a unique bloodline, directly from the Sage. Like there was a secret bloodline without having the Uchiha be the face of it. Something older and more legendary
I think the reason why Sasuke was willing to sacrifice an arm rather than spam Rinnegan abilities was out of respect for Naruto. To me, it seemed like he wanted to finish things the way they started, with his Chidori and Naruto’s Rasengan, at the Final Valley, in a test of one another’s primary jutsu. I find it kind of poetic actually, that they both lose an arm and in the same way. The blood stain on the rock underneath them was obviously to symbolize them doing the friendship sign, but also to show that they were both willing to go to great lengths for each other. Makes it that much better when Sasuke refuses to heal his arm because, he was admitting defeat to Naruto.
One reason that I can explain is that sasuke in boruto didn’t have enough chakra to pull any other rinegan abilities that require huge amounts of chakra I fell like he could have to be able to do almighty push or universal pull but probably it take too much chakra to use so maybe that why he never really use it and plus he don’t have the sage of six path chakra anymore so that another reason why also nagato being able to use the paths is because he in the uzumaki clan which give him a big advantage
I agree it was cool in the chunin exams because that guy could only do it with touch and it was cool with the 6 paths of pain because he could still be defeated by sage chakra and taijutsu. But now that it has no limits and is being wielded by alien gods? It just makes all the tension in these fights feel virtually nonexistent
In articlegames also where they make bosses super resistant to status effects, so if you have characters that are built for doing things like poison, paralysis, burning, etc., suddenly all the bosses are only vulnerable to brute force or some cheese strategy. Instead of making enemies immune to things, just give them more options to deal with them and that forces you to get more creative to do damage.
The absorb power could have worked if only a few of the aliens could use it and force the cast to switch around or bring in rock Lee who could do might guy’s style of youth shocking the aliens. That way we have to see the older cast make a lot of different groups that specialize in specific styles so the aliens have to team up to cover each other’s weaknesses and then the stakes works that way like pain where destroying preta makes it easier to spam jutsu
Actually, Shino’s fight with Kankuro the second time we learn about people with the ability to steal chakra. We learn there that his clan’s kikaichu can detect, measure, and feed off of an individuals chakra. It’s what makes them so hard to host. Its even how Shino beats Kankuro. Shino has his kikaichu follow Kanuro’s chakra strings back to his actual body where they drain him like a juice box.
he didn’t absorb naruto’s final rasengan in valley of the end because he states just after he absorbs narutos chakra that he has used too much to keep using his rinnegan abilities and closes his eye. (side note) just rewatched it and he actually says he can’t use his rinnegan anymore before he absorbs naruto’s chakra so idk, the inconsistency is crazy
absorption is one of those powers that just isn’t very interesting. it works the same pretty much anywhere regardless of whose using it, there’s like 3 ways to deal with it across any universe/ip and its hard to spice it up without making it either useless or straight up unbeatable. its often used as a crutch and given to villains ad nauseam to raise the stakes instead of actually giving them interesting abilities. why make the character strong or difficult to deal with mechanically when you can just make them outright immune to most forms of attack? absorption and negation abilities are, in my opinion, the anti-thesis to creativity and become exponentially more annoying and lame the more characters that have it.
Not sure if you’ve done a article on this before but this reminds me how healing in the Naruto verse has evolved. It went from slowly being able to stabilize or healing a person very slowly. A few Ninja like Tsunade or Kabuto were versed well enough to heal them selves at a cost. Later on medical ninja just become a back up battery to the main characters, especially starting in the 4th Great War, or more particularly Karin.
Hiruko, a villain from the Naruto movie “The Will of Fire”, can also absorbs ninjutsu and chakra as well and he can fire back the ninjutsus he absorbed back at his enemies. He was the first Naruto villain with this power since Momoshiki has the same attack in “Boruto the Movie”, the Boruto writers just lazily rehashed it as an Otsutsuki power.
My head Canon is that absorbing stuff with the preta path costs. So you begin with a deficit. So you ought to hope whatever you are absorbing makes up for that deficit and then some. Imagine it this way Preta path absorption: -35Chakra Healthy Rasengan: +40 Valley of the End Fatigued Rasengan: +20 Fresh batch Kurama Chakra: +40 Some things just aint with absorbin.
critique of your point about the preta path: Nagato was an expert at using the rinnegan and is the only human character in the entire verse who grew up with a rinnegan and had it for his entire life. Madara awakens it at the end of his life and sasuke awakens it during the war arc. Out of all human characters, Nagato is the most skilled at using the rinnegans abilities because of his time and training. When sasuke fights naruto, he has only figured out how to use a couple of its abilities and even in boruto it seems as if he still isn’t skilled at all the rinnegan;s powers, as he doesn’t use the vast majority of its arsenal ever. Sasuke was likely not skilled enough in the preta path to simultaneously use a jutsu and absorb ninjutsu. its honestly not fair to compare nagato to any other rinnegan user because of his natural chakra affinity from his Uzumaki heritage and the fact the he spent the most time with a rinnegan than any other character. he is a special case. The rinnegan has been shown to need training in order to be used effectively during the war arc after sasuke gets his rinnegan. throughout the fight he is experimenting with it and doesn’t seem to know its limitations yet. this is different from the mangekyo, which has been shown to be sort of instinctual, such as when sasuke activates the susanoo the first time or when obito awakens his mangekyo. They seemed to know exactly how to use it immediately, while the rinnegan has been shown to have a learning curve. Obito only had the rinnegan for a couple days, and only knew its abilities from perusal nagato, so of course he doesn’t use all its abilities.
While I agree on the whole, I hated absorption back with the Preta path. Like you mentioned, it’s like a super convenient bottomless pit and they don’t seem to bother using that chakra or noting any boost to their own chakra supply in general, not until near the end where Sasuke absorbs some chakra from Naruto to power up his last chidori which was the first time I cared about the Preta Path being used. Same with the damn absorbing ninja tools and karma, the absorption seemed limitless. I do have some exceptions and disagreeances, though; Getting around Madara’s preta path wasn’t good; it took like ALL of them making a multi-layered plan along with the susanoo excuse just to get around it! The plan was cool, but also showcases how utterly broken Preta path is. Kaguya was definitely worse than Momoshiki. I liked Momoshiki’s power in that he could absorb it, but could also fire it back amplified. And he had a weakness in destroying the eyes in his rinnegan hands, or simply catching him off guard, like striking him in the back or something. Meanwhile Kaguya was just treated as straight up jutsu-immune from any angle, no real weaknesses. I liked Delta’s absorption too because at least she showed a limit to the amount she can absorb and can also fire back the jutsu, it wasn’t like the chakra was being dumped into an empty void that may or may not be used later. Kawaki’s I’m okay with too because he at least also fires it back in the form of a blast. Boruto’s though, is just going into an empty void again, which makes jutsus feel hollow, without impact.
I’m assuming the boost of characters with chakra absorption is because they wanted to tone down the fights for Boruto and in Boruto “shippuden” the introduction of shinjutsu will be jutsus that can’t be absorbed and more sage users to combat them so that way the fights can be tuned up later in the series
Being honest, when we think about how ninjutsu works, and how it was worked exhaustively throughout the series, it makes a lot of sense that now, in the Boruto series that is a post-war era where they faced this type of techniques they ended up developing their own. It also marks the series on its unbalanced use of ninjutsu all the time with very little exceptions and the sporadic use of taijutsu and the almost non existing use of genjutsu. No wonder why they have to Amp up ninjutsu all the time and negate it all the time, because it’s everything there is now. It would be incredible if the series come back to the balance of nin/tai/genjutsu and how to counter each of them.
Well, if you look from the other point of view, all good fights were mostly taijutsu based, and kishimoto actually said, that he doesn’t like, that the end of naruto were just some guys spamming jutsus. So introducing lots of characters, that can somehow reduce the amount of jutsus main characters can use in a fight is an intentional thing
Take it from this perspective. The shinobi world may have come too reliant on do-, gen-, and ninjutsu. Everything has become an out of this world spectacle and become over powered “magic.” Even more so with ninja tools and chakra controlled “guns.” If you can absorb all of that, then really all that’s left that would be an effective fighting style is basic taijutsu and kenjutsu. We are seeing the literal rise of the Eight Gates and all of Might Guy’s and Rock Lee’s teachings and way of life. Things are on the path to possibly going back to the fundamentals, the way of life before there was even chakra.
