Their is a verse 2-285 in Quran that says and I Quote : ” The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, as did the believers. I am a practicing Roman Catholic Christian, but I respect the fact that it rooted from Judaism, and Islam has a lot of attributes which stem from the eastern Jewish Christian tradition. I saw their similarities and links more after studying tenets of Islam and Judaism, then reexamining Christianity not from the purely Western / Roman Catholic lens, but from the its Eastern viewpoint and its Jewish root.
The one big and most important difference between these three religions is one has a savior and the other two do not. So people in the other two have to save themselves; Something that is impossible to do. Once you have sinned, and we all have, there is no possible way we can erase that sin. Because God is Holy and cannot except a sinner into heaven (in His presence) there is no hope for the sinner apart from having someone else save him. And this was accomplished by the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the only way to the Father.

There are some similarities, but the only difference that matters is that they claim Jesus is not God. Believing differently is one thing, but their basis for this claim is that the Bible never shows Jesus to be God and that He never claims to be. This shows a gross lack of knowledge of the Bible. At 05:33 the notable woman for Islam should have been Maryam (Mother of Isa pbuh). She is literally the only woman mentioned in Qur’an by name and there is a whole chapter named Maryam (chapter no. 19). Khadija was Muhammad’s pbuh wife and there’s no doubt she played important role in our beloved Prophet’s life and therefore in Islam Everything else is pretty much on point. As a muslim this is giving me new insight toward my brothers and sisters who identifies as jews and christians, but i have an opinion about the biggest celebrated in islam is actually the eid al fitr rather than eid al adha because eid al fitr is a celebration after did a one month fasting during the ramadhan month and it is also when families come together and celebrate the moment, and in my country we usually get 2 weeks of day off from works and school. Just a note, Hanukkah might be the most visible Jewish celebration on the outside, but it’s nowhere near the second most important holiday, in fact it’s among the least important from a purely religious standpoint. This sin is unforgivable and automatically sends someone into hell. – Constantine was an emperor, not a king. This is just a very minor detail though.

I have a few concerns on the narrowness and oversimplification of these representations. As a Christian I have more specified concerns on the depiction of hell (it is not necessarily a place of fire).; Satan is also a common belief we have in Christianity, in hebrew it simply means the “adversary” which is anything that goes against; Easter being shown with a bunny and eggs and not by the tomb’s stone being rolled away or some accurate depiction; We worship God, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit—–> three in one. The issue with this is that this oversimplification may extend to all of the depicted Theologies and harm secular or other external perspectives on our Faith.

As a Muslim, I would like to make a few corrections based on my knowledge so far. Jannah is not just a garden, it is Heaven filled with beautiful gardens, palaces, infinite rewards, etc. Jahannam is not just a dark place, it is Hell filled with blazing fire, beyond harsh punishments, etc. Dajjal won’t really be classified as a false prophet, but a false god. I am a Christian and love my Jewish and Muslim siblings all around the world. In my opinion, we all worship the same God in our own ways. Regardless of if we say Adonai, the Father, or Allah; it refers to same being who gave us life and meaning and it is our job to have faith in Him, undying loyalty to Him, and live in the way He wants for His people. As an Indonesian citizen mentioned in the article, I would like to inform you that the major holiday in Indonesia is Eid al-Fitr, not Eid al-Adha. The celebration of Eid al-Fitr in Indonesia usually starts from the beginning of Ramadan, where shopping centers, markets, mosques, and even the streets become very crowded. As Eid al-Fitr approaches, hundreds of thousands, even millions of people flock back to their hometowns to celebrate with their families or where they grew up. The Indonesian government also provides additional public holidays, known as collective leave, for 3-5 days in celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
An interesting presentation. As a Christian, Easter Sunday is the most important religious event for Christians, second only to Good Friday. Good Friday is when Jesus, the Son of God, gave his life to wipe the slate clean of human sins, both then and from then on. Easter Sunday is what proved that He was the Son of God, as unlike a completely human person, he rose from the dead. Also, whilst Pastor is commonly used in the USA, elsewhere, Priest is far more often utilised in Christian worship as the spiritual leader of a Church (although a Pastor is also used, it is much less often used than Priest). From a Jewish perspective (I make a career out of this), pretty much everything you said is legitimate from a certain point of view, but in reality, it’s far more complicated. If you said some of this stuff to certain active Jews, they would either tell you they disagree, or in some cases, they might actually not have heard of these things. Judaism may be small, but like all religious umbrellas, there are some major internal differences of opinion. Interestingly, the information you presented isn’t consistent with any one denomination of Judaism, but seems to represent different movements for each “question.” The following information is a bit nit-picky, but if anyone’s curious how some Jews (on various sides) might object to some of this stuff: While the Amidah is technically the central prayer in Judaism, it’s long, often done in partial silence, and its full content isn’t actually well known by a lot of Jews compared to other prayers. Chanukah isn’t really seen as an important holiday in Judaism traditionally. However, it’s still most people’s favorite holiday, mainly because of the innovations we added to it in order to compete with the commercial-ness of modern-day Christmas. The Western Wall is the holiest structure in Judaism that is still standing, but the holiest location of all is the Temple Mount, where Jews cannot currently pray because of the major complications of it also being a holy site to the Muslims who control it.
I thought some of the comparisons didn’t make much sense for the Jewish ones. Chanukah, while still important, isn’t nearly as significant as Easter is to Christians. I would put Rosh Hashanah with Easter in terms of significance. Also, Maror and Charoset are two of many things that we eat on Pesach (Passover). However, we eat Challah (the special braided bread) and drink wine every Shabbat.

I would also say that Passover is the biggest, but its hard to quantify them. Also, the symbols under yom kippur are all for Rosh Hashana. Gehennom is with an “m” A mashiach sheker is a title placed on people who thought themselves (or other people thought) that they were the messiah, but ended up being false. Its not one person/being. Also the greatest deed being timun olam is debatable, though it is important! As well as Idolatry being the worst sin. Also, in Judaism there exists the idea not to portray the matriarchs and patriarchs, though not always followed. Maror and charoset are really random foods to put lol, if were talking pesach, matza is really prevelent, and challah and wine are consumed every shabbos, and they have really significant meaning.

Channukah (Hannukah) is actually not that big of a holiday in Judaism. A lot of noise is made about it in the non-Jewish world only because of its proximity to Christmas. The second biggest holiday is Rosh Hashana, only 10 days before Yom Kippur.
