I was able to visit Barcelona around this time last year. I was also able to visit the Montjuic Magic Fountain during the day. I was a bit sad because the fountain wasn’t spouting water. My sister and I went last year. The articles are great but it’s so much more beautiful in person. Our dad was stationed in Barcelona in the 60’s and we were born in Spain. We always said we were going to see where we were born so we went last year and the Magic Fountain was a must stop for us. Our parents had pictures of it and I knew I just had to see it. Among European cities, Barcelona is one of the best cities to visit. However the magic fountain is super overrated just like Park Guell is overrated. I think Hospital Sant Pau and Poble Espanyol were more worth visiting.
