The University of Arkansas Razorbacks, founded in 1927 and located in Little Rock, Arkansas, has a tradition of having a live mascot, Tusk, at home football games. Tusk VI is the current mascot, representing Arkansas’ live mascot, Tusk. Each Tusk is a male Russian boar from the same bloodline and travels to every home football game from his home on the Stokes farm.
The tradition of having a live Razorback mascot attending football games and other events has been a fan favorite since the university’s first hooved beast made its debut in the 1960s. The Little Rock Trojans are the athletic teams representing the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a non-football member of the Ohio Valley. Tusk IV, the son of Tusk II, has been the live mascot since the 2011 season and currently resides at the Stokes Family Farm in Dardanelle.
