Which House In Astrology Represents Wealth?

Wealth is influenced by several planets and houses, with Jupiter and Pluto being the most significant indicators. The combination of planets ruling the 2nd, 11th, 5th, and 9th houses in a horoscope can grant a significant amount of wealth. Money houses and their rulers provide insight into wealth, earned success, and more. Jupiter, often associated with growth and abundance, is considered significant for wealth.

The money areas of a natal chart are the 2nd and 8th houses. The 2nd house governs one’s own money and resources, while the 8th house governs money that is invested. Aries, the sign on the cusp of the second house, is ruled by Mars, meaning Mars rules the second house.

In financial astrology, certain planets and houses in a natal chart are considered significant for wealth. Jupiter, often associated with growth and abundance, is often associated with wealth. Astrology houses are explained by following the planetary rulers and associations with each zodiac sign. Understanding the innate signs of these houses can help relate to their meaning.

Hindu astrology considers the 2nd house as the house of accumulated wealth, while the 11th house is associated with gains in speculations and sudden gains. The essential houses in astrology to judge an individual’s riches include the second, sixth, and tenth houses. The second house delineates self-worth and material matters.

Which planet position gives wealth?

Astrology plays a significant role in understanding the impact of Jupiter, Venus, and the Houses of Finance on financial success. Jupiter, the planet of expansion and abundance, is associated with luck, growth, and prosperity. Its placement in the second house of personal wealth indicates a natural ability to attract money and resources, suggesting successful financial ventures if one maintains a positive outlook and takes calculated risks. If Jupiter is in the eighth house, which governs shared resources and investments, joint ventures or inheritances may play a significant role in financial growth.

Venus, the planet of beauty, harmony, and luxury, has a strong influence on wealth, particularly in relation to personal values and material comforts. When Venus is well-placed in the second house, it suggests a talent for attracting money through artistic endeavors, partnerships, or activities that bring pleasure and enjoyment. In the seventh house of partnerships, business collaborations or romantic relationships could significantly boost financial standing. Understanding the astrological houses related to finance is crucial for a comprehensive view of wealth in one’s birth chart.

  • Mars in 6th, Saturn in 10th, Jupiter in 4th, Sun & Venus in 12, moon in 2 I am American who recently got interested in Vedic astrology because of this website. You are a great teacher & excellent speaker In my case I have been very successful in life so far – good education, hard work and love life I have no planets in 3rd house and 11th. Jupiter mahadasa till 2025 Saturn mahadasa starting in 2025

  • you are 100% right. I have Mars Saturn conjunction in 3rd house Gemini, Aries Ascendant with Sun on the ascendant. Mercury in 12th house and 12th house ruller Jupiter conunct Venus in 11th house. And Saturn Mahadasha started two years ago. Not so easy but i’m used to this energy through the whole my life and even need it to stay on track. i never settle for less…

  • Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us the explanation is always straight to the point and easy to grasp. Sir why do people say Mercury is bad for Cancer Ascendant’s if it rules the 3rd and the 12th. In my chart I have Mercury and Sun in the 7th and aspects by Saturn in the 1st. So marriage is always going to be an issue….but in this day and age as you say without the Financial stability you can’t be at ease. So in a tough decision wouldn’t Mercury at least be Benefic if let’s say someone is Divorced or single for at least the Financial support?

  • First of all I love how you explain vedic astrology I’ve discovered your website recently. I have mars and venus sitting together with jupiter in my 7th house Gemini I am married for 37 yrs and two beautiful children. even that I am a born leo here in the western world and my sun is in the 9th house with mercury in vedic astrology calculation my leo sun is sitting with mercury in the 8th house in Pushya Nakshatra also I am in my Rahu mahadasha with mercury antardasha and rahu is in my 5th house and my moon is in the first house my beautiful saturn is in pisces in uttara bhadrapada 4th house gave me 8 points in my ashtakvarga chart, they form an adhi yoga but still no money yet.😔

  • Just curious if you could help. Just now learning about astrology, and I have struggled with maintaining faith in myself to make large amounts of (some is rooted in childhood experiences which I am working on separately.) I have Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter in third house. Sun conjunct Mercury and Venus, Mercury conjunct Jupiter, Jupiter opposite Midheaven. I have the vision and ideas to make money, but always self sabotage, or get overwhelmed with too many ideas and become indecisive to the point of paralysis. Is there a way for me to work better with these energies? Thanks. PS – Mars is in Gemini

  • Libra ascendant……sun mercury venus in 3rd house…..1st, 8th, 9th, 11th,12th lords are in 3rd house….. And 3rd lord is in 10th house….. 2nd lord mars is aspecting the 3rd house by sitting in 8th house…. 3rd lord in 10th house and 10th lord in 5th house…. All the yogas are fulfilled in my chart…when will I become rich

  • I am 41 started Saturn mahadasha in 2020. I have Saturn 21′ Mercury 24′ Moon 27′ Jupiter 29’degrees in 3rd house In Virgo sign in Cancer ascendant. Switched from banking to technical (IT consultant) job in 2021 and continue to learn and earn. Learning has become part of everyday life now. Worked abroad 2005 to 2012 in UAE in banking. Then 2012 to 2019 banking in India. Now remote job from India. But I feel that wfh not conducive for me as I was habitual of moving in my job. I love to travel whenever get opportunity due to work or personal visit. Travelled 11 countries so far. Speak less and only to the point. (saturn restricts the communication). But risk taker and believe in efforts. Got IELTS band 8777 (overall 8 band) after many efforts but never stopped until got it. So keep marching ahead.

  • I am Aquarius ascendant. My 3rd house has Mercury conjunct Saturn (lord of 12th and 1st) while Mars (lord of 3rd house) is in 10th house Scorpio. I am at end of Saturn Mahadasha and next year into Mercury Mahadasha. I have Rahu, Venus, Sun in my 2nd house. I have Jupiter(lord of 2nd and 11th) in my 8th house conjunct Ketu. I would love to read your comment on that. Thank you.

  • I have seen many articles previously. Why does he mainly focus on negatives ? If I compare my chart according to his sayings, my life is doomed. Eg. Saturn in 1st house Aries. -> bad Rahul in 5th house leo -> bad Mars in 6th house virgo -> doomed according to his article Mercury in 8th house -> bad again Moon, Jupiter, ketu in 11th house Aquarius -> bad Is my whole life doomed? Every article he says marriage difficulties…etc. I suggest to please focus on positive side also. If anyone really finds my chart is bad, please let me know so, I better prepare for worse.

  • Leo Assendant, 2nd and 11th lord Mercury in 1st house, conjunction with sun(1st house lord) and Venus (3rd and 10th house lord) and moon (12th lord) sitting in 7th house, aspecting sun, mercury and Venus and vise versa, 9th lord mars aspecting lagna while sitting in 10th house. All good this far, problem Saturn siting in 5th looking at 7th,11th,2nd, going through Saturn mahadasha and sade sati, Saturn mahadasha started at the age of 19 and will be completed at the age of 38 and then Mercury mahadasha will start and mercury is retrograde and combust so 😂sometimes one planet ruins everything

  • In kark lagna, moon in ashlesha, 3rd house empty, 3rd and 12th lord mercury is combust with 2nd lord sun in 5th house, 5th lord mars in 9th house, 6th&9th lord Jupiter is retrograde in 11th house, Venus in 4th house, ketu-rahu in 2-8 axis and Saturn in 6th house.. so basically 3rd house is empty but has drushti of Saturn-mars-jupiter 😂😂 Career wise I’m fucked up 😜
