I think it was stated somewhere that their clan was raided by multiple nations who joined together to take them out. I read a short paragraph about what happened to the Uzumaki clan but I don’t remember where I found it. The fact that it took multiple nations to wipe them just proves how powerful the uzumakis were. It would have been nice if more had been known about them since it is the clan that our mc belongs too but them no longer existing kind makes sense bc all of the overly powerful clans were all completely wiped out for one reason or another (example: Otsutsuki and Uchiha).
It’s stated that the Uzumaki clan are relatives to the Senju clan that’s why they kept up ties. Hashirama was dead by the time the Uzumaki got wiped out though & If he was alive I don’t think he would’ve let them die. It’s already been answered. Their was no civil war. The other Hidden Villages banded together out of fear of the Uzumaki Clan and their abilities with seals. Despite how strong the Uzumaki were, they couldn’t withstand the might of the joint forces of the other hidden villages. As for the Hidden Leaf, they did send out reinforcements to aid the Uzumaki, but they arrived too late.
It seems that Orochimaru did plenty of research on the Uzumaki Clan so the fact that he was able to find the masked Shrine and was able to call upon the death seal shows that some people still new Uzumaki secrets so it’s sad that Naruto wasn’t gifted the sealing Jutsu that his father had but that’s the story so unfortunately unless they write some more books I guess we’ll never know.
I think it was more that Hashirama didn’t want to be (seen as) too powerful, so didn’t want to seal the Kyuubi in himself. Having his wife be that powerful by his side though, means she could serve as both a continued bridge between the Uzumaki, as well as a deterrent against other foes, because she would back up her husband and new village. It’s a savvy move; as long as she was alive and in such a prominent position as the First’s wife, it assured reason for the two to continue to serve as strong allies. 💪🏾
My guess is that the Leaf Village decided to turn a blind eye to the Uzumaki’s destruction and only had great relations with the clan because they were incredibly strong. Their relation was more of a business one. Kushina described her clan to Naruto as having a savage side, which means even she understands her clan had a dark side. They very easily gave up Kushina to the Leaf to become a Jinchuriki without her agreeing to do so. I don’t think the Uzumaki were very wholesome, hence the “savage” line from Kushina. The other villages saw them as a very obvious threat. They had the power to casually summon the a god of death and seal even the strongest tailed beasts. The villages (not including the Leaf) put their own conflict aside to team up against the Uzumaki. Maybe the Leaf understood of this team up plan and stayed out of it because they low key saw the clan as volatile and didn’t care if they got eliminated. Hashirama was most likely already dead by the time of their downfall and knowing him he would definitely back them up and try to argue for peace. He was the same guy who tried to gift the other Nations all his tailed beasts.
They can summon a shinigami. 💀 In theory that should be more terrifying than a Susanoo, as reaper is death itself. I think they’re more badazz than Uchiha and Senju. They have so much potential, just look at Nagato alone wielding Rinnegan. Their chakra can compete with tailed beasts, their body is strong to contain Kyubi. They’re expert fuinjutsu users. Fuinjutsu is the most overpowered technique, it can seal movements as seen on Danzo paralyzing Sasuke. It also can create cursed seal and turn you into sage chakra sucking machine, can make teleportation, can seal chakra especially Tailed beasts, can seal Otsutsuki, can create Barriers, can create traps, can seal Amaterasu like Jiraya did, make Byakugo seal, and also seal edo tensei, and summon a Shinigami. It probably can seal Susanoo and eye jutsu as well. In theory you can also program a seal to react to genjutsu to disrupt it and be immune to it. And that’s why they had to be dead.
Honestly. Their Hot Tempers definitely makes sense. However, I think like the Uchiha clan, they also feel incredibly deeply than others possibly on par with the Uchiha and thats what drives them. Because of this, it makes even more sense why Naruto was so driven to prove himself and save Sasuke from the darkness in his heart.
My theory was that a young Danzo was involved in the destruction of the Uzumaki Clan(i left my comment on a previous article). Kushina said they were a roudy bunch I speculate it’s more of a vindictive streak against most of the Shinobi world,since Hashirama put them on the map after using their sealing arts to capture the tailed beasts & giving them to the other villages to promote peace. So the only known weakness to the tailed beasts would be the Senju brothers & the Uzumaki ( putting a target on the back of every Uzumaki hence forth)

Bro thats why Himawari’s personality flips like that when she is angry. I have alway hoped that they make an arc where Naruto goes on a journey with Himawari to the Uzumaki village. I also believe that Himawari has great potential to be jinchuriki, primarily of the 2 tailed beast since she did tame and helped that wolf, she definitely has what it takes. Not only that but it would pair nicely with her making a journey with Naruto where she learns sealing jutsu and how to control her tailed beast. Its just she is so much untapped potential for great story telling imo.
To answer some questions and I know this will sound cruel. Jinchuriki are never loved, but instead hated and feared. They have a beast inside them that could break free if the seal is ever broken. The Senju Clan might have liked the idea of it being an Uzumaki who was hated and feared instead of them.
I never thought I would say something like this after 2 years of dropping Naruto but I think I wanna rewatch it all over again because there’re things like this that makes me even more interested in the story and the secrets behind it. Like I always watch any anime for the first time because it got my interest or it just look cool so I give it a chance but always for the second time I’m seeing things that I didn’t in the past and it’s making it even more enjoyable then before.. sorry I got carried away a little. I’m pretty sure that Mito becoming a jinchuriki was completely unplanned. Their marriage was purely political between their clans. She and Hashirama needed to deal with Kurama after Madara’s defeat at the Valley of the End. They just had very limited choices and just as little time to do it. And I’m not sure if it was canon or not, but I read somewhere that they were wiped out by a coalition of enemy villages around the end of the Second War and Konoha was just unable to help them in time, but don’t quote me on that. Could’ve just been Danzo sabotaging any attempt to help them. Seems like the sort of thing he’d do.
As you said the sealing techniques were and still greatly feared. The Uzumaki clan excelled at that. Hell orochimaru was trying his hardest to prevent the reaper death seal because he knew what it did and was scared of it. Karin also excelled at being a sensory type of ninja. So maybe other Uzumaki members excelled at it to. But that’s a theory. Civil War is a great explanation and the damage of the Uzumaki village shows how powerful (badass) that clan was. Nagato was powerful because of the rinnegan implanted into him by Madara. That is how he had all those cool unique abilities he used. Kuchina helped with controling nine tails which alone makes us realize how powerful she is. Naruto carried on the legacy and trained as hard as he could and I think he deserves the name Uzumaki.

So I think one issue with this explanation is that you think the first or second hokage could been jinchuriki, they could not. Uzumaki inherited the “Soul” and the Senju inherited the “body”. This is the reason Uzumaki have such high chakra but do not have naturally more durable bodies like the Senju and vice versa. Naurto was a half breed Uzumaki he naturally had about half the gift of chakra compared to other members of his clan. The Jinchuriki has so suppress the 9 tails with their own chakra. Naurto can only function like a normal person because of his bloodline limit a normal person would not be able to resist the 9 tails. Making them into a Jinchuriki would best case scenario make them immobile and in most cases result in death.
it makes so much sense, now that we know about their nature of their hungers for battles or their savagery. Because all of these characteristics appeared to be mixed in Naruto’s personality such as being savage; letting attacks land on him or even said to break Sasuke’s bones to bring him back, doesn’t give up and etc. So maybe the kind and reasonable personalities of Naruto is from his dad instead.
I believe that one of the causes of the outbreak of World War I shinobi could be vandalism, and later the destruction of the Uzumaki clan by neighboring countries (countries like Hidden Water or Hidden Cloud). Thus, Konoha, then led by Tobirama Senju, felt responsible for aiding Uzuzioshikagure military forces. Thus, probably 2 camps were formed in this war: Konoha and Uzuzioshikagure and other clans or smaller allied countries, respectively the rest of the great Shinobi countries (Cloud, Water, maybe Stone), which sought at all costs to weaken the military power of Konoha by eliminating their most important ally (Uzuzioshigakure), which probably happened in World War I. It is possible that the same Kinkaku and Ginkaku fighting unit, which contributed to the elimination of the Uzumaki clan and the death of Tobirama Senju, the second Hokage, were to blame again.
It makes sense to have the Hokage and Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi be seperate though. As you said, Hashirama could beat the 9 tails, so this way, they always had both the 9 tails as a weapon, and someone who could defeat it. In the event that something happened, a senju could stop the Kyuubi. But if a Senju was the jinchuuriki. Then an enemy could take 2 important pieces off the board in one move.
It all comes down to being seen as a Potential Threat. Having the hidden Leaf fully integrate the uzumakis would have made them the most powerful clan in the world bar none. That would have led to the other clans creating an alliance to destroy them out of fear that the hidden Leaf might turn towards world domination or something equally as undesirable. Thr Uzumaki clan was powerful enough by themselves that they were already seen as a threat so at the first available opportunity they were removed from the equation. Pretty much what was going to happen to the uchihas no matter what because even if Madara hadn’t had his revenge plan the hidden leaf saw them as a threat and was planning on wiping them out themselves. Basically the whole show was about Clans constantly warring to maintain the balance of power. Anyone who became too powerful was a Target and everyone was trying to become too powerful.
I wish they spent more time with Naruto exploring his roots. I think him being born an orphan would make him dig up about his parents, try to contact close relatives, uncover Uzumaki and Namikaze clans etc. It would make an epic arc since he still has room for improvement and would be a better alternative of going strong instead of the lazy writing of just giving him more chakra with kurama with every jutsu is just a different color and bigger. So much untap potential for this anime and instead they made Boruto and now every villain is a god and we don’t know how much worst the power scaling would be.

This was despite them never using their powers for evil. To this end, the other villages secretly planned to annihilate what they perceived as a latent threat to their existence, leading to the clan and its village to be destroyed before Konoha could come to their rescue.
I heard they were the exact opposite of the Uchiha when I comes to relationships. They would Mary outside the clan. After many generations of this would cause less full blooded uzumakis and more hybrids. After all the full uzumakis are gone. The only ones to breed are half blood uzumakis. After more generations of this the uzumaki clan faded away.
Naruto Shippuden plot truly is interesting. Aside from characters, clans and villages, looking back to Shinobi history truly is fascinating. Knowing how the world was cruel, came to the control of kaguya, her kids sealing her, and a so ongoing war between nations and clans, then again, coming towards naruto and other characters’ stories. It’s obviously a beautiful and unique anime, and when ending it is just quite sad revolving and having emotions towards it. Naruto truly is my top 3 favorite anime and might also be my number 1.
Have you noticed that all the extremely powerful clans have only one or two members by the time of the start of Naruto? Uzumaki, Uchiha, Senju, and so on only have one know member at the time. Naruto, Sasuke, Tsunade, yes two more Uzumaki, and one more Uchiha was brought into the anime but still the most powerful clans always seem to be the first ones to be totally killed off or only a couple members left. To me this is why the older generations seem to be much more stronger then the current ones, with exceptional notes on a couple of characters…. Naruto and Sasuke, though their power comes more from outside influences then innate power. Naruto had Kurama so his already impressive Chakra pool was enhanced, then he gained Sage mode, tailed beast mode, Six paths Sage mode, Yin release. Sasuke gained the cursed mark, Yang release, not going to go on about his eyes as the only way for him to gain new and better ones is through taking others eyes.
It might be good that the uzumaki weren’t around for the show because they were basically used as the ex Machina of the show. I’m not saying anything bad about the show, just point out that they had uber strong bodies to host kuruma, were part of the reason naruto was alone his whole life, had seals for everything and summons for some crazy shit. Having the clan extinct gives a good excuse as to why certain jutsu only popped up at a certain time in the show, because there was no one to pass down these legendary techniques. Think about if the izanami was around from the beginning of the show. Everyone would be saying, “why not just use that on sauske to bring him back”. Itachi was the only one who knew the ability and never had the chance to use it on sauske and probably was trying to maintain deep cover.
Uzumaki Mito was not sold to Konoha to contain thr Kyuubi. That happened when Hashirama was fighting Madara. She was already married to Hashirama by then. Typically when a king or a leader has their daughter marry another king or leader it’s a sign of trust. i disagree with you on couple things. 1. just from a single word savage and kushina said a bit and nothing was mentioned about battle hungry you pained this whole narrative about the entire clan when nothing really was shown unlike the kaguya clan. 2. because they were described as a bit savage you misconstrued the comic relief moments of kushina and karin and as far as nagato again the bit savage narrative doesn’t apply to the clan either nagato showed his strong emotions in response to trauma aka his parents or his friend death. every single character in the show showed the same emotional response to trauma with different level of intensity. i apporactied the other good inforamtion you provided with pointing out the masks and the civil war very interesting.
Even without kurama naruto could’ve been a super good ninja, also because of him being uzumaki. He had a big chakra pool, and while he was always bad at learning jutsus, it was because he had two chakra’s in him, one was his own, and the other was kurama’s, so if he didn’t have kurama’s, he might just have learned way faster than sasuke.
They were killed for the same reason the Senju’s got killed way back then (probably) and the Uchihas. All 3 clans are descendants from the Sage of Six Paths making them automatically the most powerful clans in the Story outside of the Otsutsuki. Uzumaki’s were born with a strong life force, a strong body and abnormal physical strenght. As Kushina explained this is the reason why no other clan is as good as being a Jinchuriki. Kurama also mentioned in the war that “Naruto is the ONLY one who can achieve proper resonance with his Chakra “since he’s been a Jinchuriki his whole life” and MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY “and because he has Uzumaki blood”. Kurama added that it’s frightnening how many links he can sustain and the sheer volume of chakra he can funnel. Sasuke was also shocked at how much Chakra Naruto can control so easily even further proves this point. Naruto perfecting his Sage Mode left a strong impression on many characters but most importantly Tobirama and Minato. He was the only one with Hashirama (not a coincidence) and Kabuto (who cheated his way to achieve this) who mastered Sage Mode Fully making it one of the strongest powert up’s ever. Fukasaku mentioned that in order to master it you need “extreme amounts of chakra” and a strong enough body to support the increased power which Uzumaki’s and Senju’s both possess naturally which explains why only Naruto and Hashirama mastered it due to their heritage. Uzumaki’s also have an absurd amount of chakra reserves surpassing literally everyone outside of Senju’s which should be the same since they are related.
Yo…they had to let them die. There would’ve been a ton of people with Rinnegan…as Psycho as Madara, and as powerful as Hashirama 😆😆. Basically near Ootsutsuki level power and abilities. They had to die, so even Madara Uchiha,and the rest of the villages, nations and the plot regarding others would’ve been irrelevant😆😆😆
just looking at the ruins of the Uzumaki clan you can tell they were a force to be reconed with. they had skyscrapers in their village which is something we dont see in konoha untill the brouto arc and other villages that have similar building structures are more along the lines of towers than skyscrapers.
The only way enemies could infiltrate Uzumaki safety system is either by the traitor within a clan or Konoha sought them out. Uzumaki’s sealing jutsu were perfected that other nations didn’t even dare to look at their island. I don’t think Senju brothers are so ungrateful, so the only answer is Danzo with his goons and those 2 elder geezers.
I think the Leaf and Eddy are far away and the Leaf was at war with at least three Great Nations (and Rain) at the time. Village destructions also tend to be very fast in Naruto. It is very unlikely that it was a willing sacrifice on the Leaf’s part. Hashirama didn’t become the jinchuiriki because they knew he was dying (as we know because they named someone the same age as him as his successor). Hashirama probably trusted his wife more than anyone else.
If there is good possibility in making Boruto interesting…it is by including more Fuinjutsu…Uzumaki fought the Otsutsuki clan..all the masks were created by sacrifice of Uzumaki members…Masks provide abilities similar to Otsutsuki’s…Many Otsutsuki came but all were defeated by Uzumaki..but they sacrificed themselves…😁
People are saying that Konoha chose not to help Uzushio and the Uzumaki, forgetting that this happened during one of the major shinobi wars and Konoha wouldn’t have had enough ninja to fight that many enemies at once. They were fighting to defend their own borders against Kumo and Iwa (if this was during the third war. idk about if it was the second war) Not to mention that they might not have known about the attack at the time. Uzushio would have been hit in a surprise attack that left them no time to call for help from Konoha. Also, even if they did manage to send for help, Danzo would have probably killed the messenger and NOT delivered the message to Hiruzen because he would have definitely seen the Uzumaki as a threat to his vision of a perfect Konoha. Like how he orchestrated the Uchiha Massacre and I think even had a hand in the fate of the original Akatsuki being targeted as they were…. Do we know for sure that Kushina meant they were savage like that, or did she mean their techniques were ‘savage’ in how brutally effective they are? She could have also been indoctrinated to believe that by Konoha, again like how the public were being manipulated to mistrust the Uchiha..
So for those who don’t remember. Neji curse seal is a sealed Genjustu deeply woven into his subconscious to give his life for the main branch. It’s given to any Hyuga that awakens Byakugan outside the main branch which is said to be more difficult. The crest weaves that order, which is why Neji felt utter despair so young. As he can’t escape. Naruto talk no jutsu, was that Neji should try to live up to that point. That if your future is sealed, then make the most of your present. Remember upon Naruto 18th birthday the seal was going to be released and the Nine tails set free. Its why Kurama was just sitting back patiently. Tailed beast were Alive since the Sage of Six paths era hundreds of not a thousand years ago. As such what’s 18 years. Naruto believed he was going to die, then why not have fun and prove everyone wrong. This is why Neji said he understood what his father experienced. Yeah the curse mark forces you, but if you also mean it
the senju did not need an Uzumaki clan member to seal the nine tails but Uzumaki clan members were the better choice for it. especially ones with chakra like kushinas which forms a natural sealing jutsu to amplify the sealing jutsus used to seal the nine tails. nine tails is alot more powerful than other tailed beast so you want the most assurances possible that nine tails wont break out. even the reaper death seal would weaken over time when sealing nine tails and needed to be tightened in order to contain it. presumably this issue disappeared due to kushinas and possibly even mitos special chakra. hashirama likely could have also been a candidate for sealing due to his wood style being able to control tailed beast but if i had to guese they wanted him as insurance incase the tailed beast ever got out. if he was the jinchurike and the tailed beast managed to get out he would be heavily weakened as a result and unable to stop its rampage.
Naruto was given a Uzumaki name assuming that they won’t notice him as the son of the hokage, but I wonder if other nations was baffled because an Uzumaki existed when they knew the clan was extinct. I think that would be more dangerous to Konoha knowing that other nations can attack the village for hiding an Uzumaki (a clan known for their Chakra power). Also, I noticed that every surviving Uzumaki clan members pre 4th Ninja World War discarded their clan name except Naruto.
Writer DEFINITELY should’ve gave the slow witted naruto some genuine connection to his clan and had him present some talent SOMEWHERE, SOMEHOW. Rewatching the entire series for the 4th time is so painful because of his weakness and shitty disposition that the 3rd hokage didnt give shits about. And the fact that he was labeled as a monster when he never even did anything bad at first. He is the legacy of one of the greatest shinobi and blood of one of the strongest clan. But he gets a shitty flat, with no food or guidance, or privilege, or anything useful. He had the worst possible backstory that any MC could have. Yet all the room for an amazing backstory. So frustrating. I cant believe the series was considered as amazing at it was back in the day.
I don’t know if it’s become fan Canon or it is actual canon, but I distinctly remember reading somewhere that Kumo, Kiri, and Iwa banded together at the start of the Second Shinobi war, and that is when they wiped out Uzu. The remnants of the clan then supposedly were spread out amongst the various villages, with most of then going to Konoha, but some when to Kusa (Grass village), some when to Ame (rain), and some were captured and brought to Kiri.
If there was more need for them to show up, Kishimoto could always just pull out the Deus Ex Machina: A large fraction of the Uzumaki clan saw the inevitable end and used a powerful sealing technique to seal themselves away in stasis in hopes of being recovered. Bam Boruto finds a hint at that and helps in restoring the Uzumaki remnant. They would not know the developments of the past what? 60+ years sooo they would have to get used to a life in peaceful times. That’s the beauty of having a race/clan/faction with something as arbitrary as “sealing”. It is a nonsense word and can be anything from “preventing something from coming out” up to “keeping something in stasis” heck you coul even stretch and say with a powerful sealing jutsu you can undo the walls of the multiverse or travel between dimensions you could even “unseal” the walls to the afterlife 😀
It was said that they were betrayed by leaf village. Not that they couldn’t help, but they decided to not do it. The army that were attacking Uzumaki’s village were relativelly small. Konoha could crush them just by sheer numbers. Also you said about the most powerfull ones, but 3 People doesn’t win wars. Konoha stil had great Jonins on their hands. And, maybe Uzumakis were overaggresive, but they were also very Loyal. They were very similiar to Uchihas.
Well its different from what i remember, as far i remember kushina said their clan was attached by unknown nation or clan bcoz their was afraid of their sealing jutsu like unable to move or use chakra and even sealing a soul. Negatos character isnt possible without being an Uzumaki when you consider the numerous high level jutsus he pulled off invading konoha. No one else in the entire series pulls off THAT many powerful jutsu back to back in a singular fight and some simultaneously with other jutsus he was controlling – controlling the pains in their fights – the summons – the reincarnation- absorbing chakra attacks – fighting kakashi then naruto 🤣🤣🤣 bro was OP af naruto couldn’t beat him without hinata gettin her ass half killed n naruto losing control n karama takin over. Huh…this makes me wonder. Could Sakura (or her clan) be a distant off shoot of the Uzumaki clan? Going off your points about sudden anger/violence. Also there’s a scene near the end where Minato says “she reminds me a bit of Kushina” (referring Sakura). Perhaps the pink hair is diluted red hair from being split off long ago?
We could say under the influence of the Nine tails, Naruto was savage to, tbf I think it was mostly the Nine tails otherwise he would’ve lashed out against people of Konohagakure, buuut a few times he did let the Nine tails chakra come out whenever he was angry. Most likely Uzumaki clan got wiped when one of their sealing techniques failed on a weak recipient that made a beast or more errupt from users that weren’t properly taken care of and create a chain reaction of reckless possesed vessels to fight other based and tempered monsters users but eventually resulted in a tie of destruction. A help would have turned the tides but abstaining from helping is also a worrying fact of the results given.
Or their clan is just simply so overpowered that it was meaningless for the writers to show us their true potential. So to make things a bit more balanced instead of bringing back into the screen the whole uzumaki clan they just brought back some of their techniques which were pretty crucial. The big question is how interesting would it be if Naruto after the loss of Kurama would turn deeper (maybe ask Orochimaru) into his Uzumaki bloodline and actually master their techniques. The fun fact about Naruto is that we have never seen him using neither his namikaze nor his uzumaki techniques unlike Sasuke who is acting like a pure Uchiha. Imagine him being flashy like Minato and also having tons of sealing techniques.
I don’t agree with this. If the Uzumaki clan was that strong, if the Hidden leaf joined forces nobody could have stopped them from other villages. Uzumaki, Senju, Uchiha formed the Hidden leaf. Their combined forces would have been too strong for the other clans to attack. So not sure why the Uchiha and Senju stayed out of that war. And I really wish to know who killed Hashirama and Tobirama 🤣
The Uzumaki are choosen as the Nine-Tails Host, because they have so strong Sealing Techniques and such a Big Life Force, which even surpassed the Life Force of the Senju, they basicly where the Perfect “Host” because there Bodys were so strong, compared to everyone else, a Bijuu couldnt bring its host near Death or into other Problems(like seen with Gaara or a lot of other Jinchu) to take over. Not a single Uzumaki (from which we know) died throuch losing Controll and its Bijuu taking over, the only Way we see a Bijuu became able to take over was, when the Jinchuriki got weakend through Outside means, for example throuch Illness, Psychological instability(in which they manipulate its user to use theire Chakra) and through massive Wounds and exhaustion from Battles. Which btw alone is more than enought reason to wipe them out.
They were probably the strongest clan and village because if you look at the ruins of the Uzumaki village they look so advance and have massive buildings plus they have sealed many monsters and also they have a probability of having a rinnegan just like nagato so im kinda curious if they were the strongest clan of all
One of the most important question is why didn’t the Uzumaki clan join konoha since they were close allies of the senju and had several marriage alliances. If they did maybe Naruto would have been cared for better and Nagato would not have been orphaned later to be used by Madara. Also why did they choose female uzumaki members instead of male when the seal weakens during pregnancy and almost undone during birth.
They should have done something like a trilogy similar to LotR. Expanding the war lore and more ceased to exist clans, previous and current jinchurikis, legendary items/ weapons, minato spin off, kagami uchiha, all the kages. There’s so much content to cover. Well thats explains why the villiagers treated naruto with such distain they knew not only was he was the host of the nine tails but that his anger would release it at any given time 🤌🏾but he didnt kno cuz he was so young so his anger turned into resentment until he considered Sasuke he equal/ his brother
When i think of clans that went extinct and lost their special bloodline or jutsu or techniques it makes me sad. All the potential gone. I feel it would have been better for the 5 nations to be conquered by by one of the other, or joined together that way they could all flourish. And any clans that have enmity would be separated to oposite sides of the kingdom. And the rules henceforth would be strict for individuals that break them for the benefit of each clan individually so their are no clan wipeouts.
I am very eager to see previous hokage s Life and the legendry clan cheifs strengths such as white fang of the leaf 🍃, fugaku of the saringan and also sisuli the telepoerter…..in a futher series on noruto or atleast as a movie…or I wish they could make some of influences of that legends in boruto also…….
Didn’t Mito marry before the Kyubi became a problem? I don’t think they sold her to be a Jinchuriki, though I do think it might have been a marriage that would have been wanted, it’s not known if Uzoshigakure was a village before Konoha was, so it might have been a love match. I do wonder though if the Uzumaki were the only clan in Uzoshi though, the village doesn’t look that small to only have one clan there, so the civil war could have been between different clans. Personally, I don’t think they were battle hungry like you say, Kushina never attacked anyone that didn’t try and hurt her (apart from comedic moments, but Sakura also had those) and Karin and Nagato were the same, with the latter having watched his best friend kill himself and the other held hostage as a teenager, all because Hanzo felt they were a threat to his power by way of Danzo whispering in his ear. I wonder if Danzo had any involvement in the Uzoshigakure’s destruction, I could imagine that a close village with long life, huge chakra reserves and a polished fighting style would be seen as a major threat to him.
They should have made origin arcs on all the villages and clans instead of all the childish filler episodes which had little relevance to the main arc. I still don’t know how the other villages, the Sand, Earth, Cloud, etc came into existence..if it all started with Sage of the 6 Paths and then into Indra and Ashura, then how did these other villages get such powerful beings, I do know about the Ninja creed(ninshu), but getting to know how they attained their characterstic abilities(like the super speed for Raikage, particle style for Tsuchikage, Lava style for Mizukage,, Sand and Iron bending for Kazekage) and how animosity developed between them..

My theory is that Konoha decided to destroy the Uzumaki Clan, after the Senju Clan disappeared and Konoha became weaker (with Hiruzen as the Hokage) Since the Uzumaki Clan became too strong for Konoha. My reasons for that are the elders, Danzo and what Konoha did everything in the shadows (Uchiha massacre, sacrifice of its own people)
Well, I have to disagree to the point that Uzumaki are battlehungry as the kaguya clan, if we delve deeper to Canon, kaguya clan and Uzumaki clan are the exact opposite like day and night. Uzumaki fuinjutsu is upon another level, also it was said in Canon that someone can do anything with fuinjutsu alone, example Chakra restore /absorb seals, resistance seals (better than Lee’s weights) or seals that make a jutsus like transformation or kage bunshin to last longer that it would due to a seal that make the Chakra flow of the user more stabilized and provide more Chakra to the teqnique, that alone is a reason that others look in fear to the Uzumaki. As for jinchuriki, it would be the Uzumaki lifespan an answer. Also, in the Konoha forest outskirts, there is not only a ruin Uzumaki temple, BUT there is an abandoned cave called “Senju cave” in that is said that konoha contained scrolls from jutsus from tobirama and Hashirama ALONG with scrolls contained UZUMAKIS KENJUTSY STYLES AND TAIJUTSU STYLE AND OF COURSE THEIR SEALING TECHNIQUES.
The Uzumaki clan was never part of the hidden leaf. They were a part of a whole other village. Naruto was born at the hidden leaf, thats why hes a leaf ninja. His mom became a leaf ninja after coming to the leaf village. She was the only Uzumaki clan member that went to the village. The clan was never destroyed. Most of them didn’t live in the leaf, thats all
Not only that, nagato was able to connect his chakra to raindrops and use that to sense chakra over a wide range, my dude infused chakra into millons of droplets of water from the sky for hours to sense intruders, he was also an uzumaki clan prodigy as at a young age he mastered all 5 nature transformation, nagato could even sense kabuto through a sage enhance barrier meant to protect his location, that’s how itachi found kabuto in the first place, same Karin whose anamantine chains that were destroying the several hundred hands of guru guru, kushinas chains were stated casually above that, then you have kushina being very powerful in physical combat, taijutsu, we don’t need to get into Naruto and how good his clone game is even as a child or the fact that at 16 he mastered sage mode, or mito who was stated to have a similar ability to Naruto in kcm where she can sense negative intent and emotion, then on top of that, she has a diamond on her forehead similar to tsunade her granddaughters, so she might have a physical stat boost, listen man the senju gets the creativity of ashura you know and Ashura’s body, but ashura’s life force and his chakra and stamina, that’s the uzumaki got all of that.
Karin’s healing abilities is also part sealing jutsu.. she uses her uzumaki huge energy to heal people. But in order to keep enough energy for herself she needs to seal an amount that can be used for recovery. This sealing jutsu was known by mito and is probably the origin of the 1000 healing justsu seal technique from tsunade

Also, don’t forget that the scroll Jiraiya carried with him everywhere had a bunch of Uzamaki seals on them which is how he sealed away Itachi’s Amataratsu. ALSO, a lot of people don’t know the Uzumaki and the Senju are related but something else is that Jugo’s clan is related to both of them. Asura was the body of the sage and all of his clan was naturally attuned to sage energy which later Orochimaru uses for his curse marks. If you bite and Uzumaki, you will be healed but if you bite someone from Jugo’s clan or vice versa you’ll become a monster if you don’t have the kind of fortitude a Uzumaki or Senju have.
Some times I find it interesting how far fans will take a story of an author. I know kishimoto had a plan but I always wonder if all the inferences and assumptions fans make are on track. Or if he never really thought that far. I mean Naruto as a whole took a lot of work but I wonder did he just get tired of world building haha
im guessing mito was special even amongs the uzumaki probably had massive amounts of chakra reserve thats why her hair didint go white as she aged, considering she lived 10 years even after kurama split from her, this makes more since then all of the uzumakis being able to survive a jinjurichi split naturally due too lineage since naruto was about to die when kurama split from him in the war. And nagatos hair went white when he used the last of his energy to revive everyone he killed.

The Uzumakis would have been singularly terrifying, as a clan. I think it may not be out of the realm of possibility that a handful of them would have been enough to destroy an entire Shinobi village if they were so inclined. I mean, Naruto was pretty bad with ninjutsu overall, but imagine if he had been trained in sealing jutsu. “Oh what’s that? The ten tails? That’s cute.”
Wait I’m lost here Minato told Naruto that if his enemies found out if Naruto was his son, his life would be in danger, but if Naruto’s maternal clan was destroyed because of their potential power and they gave Naruto his mothers last name knowing the history as to why it was destroyed in the first place, wouldn’t it be foolish to go let him be a ninja especially his last name alone could get him killed?
Maybe his hair is white for a similar reason to nagato where he used up a ton of chakra. Possibly by sealing the 9 tails? Or maybe he fought with hashirama over their alliance or having Mito being taken to the leaf. Something that’d drain all his chakra Nagato’s hair turned white after he used the rebirth jutsu which we can assume exhausted all of his chakra. Also maybe kushina was some sort of relation to Mito uzumaki. Both being chosen to be jinchuriki. Both brought from the whirlpool village. Both are married to the hokage’s of their time. Plus they had a heart to heart right before kushina becomes a jinchuriki to make sure she finds happiness. Sitting there brushing her red hair, almost like a parent or grandparent.
Wow it took four huge village nation states to gain the upper hand on this clan. And even then they still do not destroy the clan keep in mind there’s Naruto and his family and other members of the clan who survived. So despite the fact they had so much manpower they still did not destroy the entire clan like they hoped

The real question is how tf did the nations even wipe them out ? And if every nation wiped them out why isn’t this huge event more shown in the show ? And how did a such powerful clan who had super healing, Immense chakra reserves and life force and unstoppable sealing Justus unique to them. How did they get wiped out ? And only and handful survived.
Binge perusal all these articles and love these, but I needed help understanding a topic: Nagato is a Uzumaki by way of his mother, but why was she in Ame? The manga clearly states that Kushina was sent from Uzushio to be the new host for Kurama, and Nagato was Jiraiya’s 1st student, as in before Minato, meaning that the clan was still active, so is this like a plot hole or is there a reason why Nagato’s parents were in a war torn land
That would be amazing, if naruto goes on a journey outside konoha to learn about his ancestors. If I could write that arc, i would send naruto to the Uzumaki Ruins, then he get attacked, by an Uzumaki Guardian who defend the remainings ruins from outsiders. Naruto will almost lost his life in that fight due to sealing techniques performed by the guardian. And then in the last seconds, that guardian will ask for his full name then naruto will scream :” NARUTO UZUMAKI ! Then get released . Then that guard will be a guide for naruto and help to learn new powers and history of Uzumakis ect, 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
My question that arose from this is: how did Hashirama “give” the tailed beasts to other village? As in how did they transport them? Is there a chance that the Uzumaki clan sacrificed clan members for the beasts to be sealed in and then essentially other villages bought the Jinchuriki? This would essentially spread the uzumaki genetics if those people were to have children and would explain some of the similar clans and people we have come to know.
