A Magic Trick On How To Make Your Finger Disappear?

This video tutorial teaches you how to make your finger disappear and vanish any small object using the retention vanish technique. The trick involves using a “magic thumb”, a special gimmick for magic tricks, to hide any small object inside. The five techniques to make something disappear rely heavily on misdirection and sleight of hand.

One of the techniques is palming, which can make your finger disappear but will kill your card trick. The positions in the 7 Points ensure the deck looks the same regardless of whether you’re holding a break or not. Another technique is the timeless thumb magic trick, which makes it look like you can pull apart your thumb at the knuckle.

To perform this trick, bend your left thumb back toward your body at a 90° angle, with only the bottom half visible. Use a rubber band on your index and middle finger, stretch it with your thumb, press it with your index finger, and touch a ring.

In summary, this video tutorial provides a fun and easy-to-learn finger tricks, including the “Remove your Thumb” illusion, which can be used to vanish small objects or make objects appear to disappear.

  • Thanks to seeing this thumb trick as a small child (~6 yrs old) I tried to cut my thumb off with scissors in the classroom at school. They were kids safety scissors, so no real damage nothing more than what you would get from a few paper cuts. This little episode freaked out the teacher prompting her to ban me from using sharp implements for a while until she realised I was only trying to do the trick and not into self harm.

  • my friends did not fall for this trick and laugh. instead they kicked me to the curb and called me various slurs… now i have server trauma. thanks a lot glam, inc…:face-red-droopy-eyes::face-red-droopy-eyes::face-red-droopy-eyes::face-red-droopy-eyes::face-red-droopy-eyes::face-red-droopy-eyes::face-red-droopy-eyes:

  • When i was a kid my late uncle used to play this trick wid me & my brother and everytime he did it- we both used to be soo amazed dat we made him do it multiple times and he used to get tired with us bt tbh we nvr were able to figure out how he did it- until i saw this vdo today, it just reminded me of those old gud days we spent wid our dear uncle….

  • i donno why every person here feels like they are qualified to break this down.. especially when you’s sound like you’ve never even seen a card trick live.. because this is a real stage trick. not cgi or article editing.. or paint(that was my favourite). you can watch a few different magicians do this as a part of their main act. if it were some cheat, they wouldn’t be able to do it live.

  • He takes his finger and puts it behind his pointer and middle finger. You can see as both times he tries to push it up towards those fingers, and how he puts those two fingers together to hid the fact that it is there. What I don’t get is why we can’t see the bottom of his finger, but still, cool trick
