My late Aunt worked at Wright-Patterson during the Roswell incident and told me that she knew that there were alien bodies and wreckage being examined there at W-P. There was an older lady, a nurse I believe, who saw one of the poor creatures and the story got out a little until Aunty’s office was “debriefed” (read: THREATENED.) I hate when people use “conspiracy theorist” as an insult when Nazi Germany, MK ultra, water gate, Thomas Edison and electricity companies, and the trail of tears, all go on under our noses. People think that because this stuff happens in movies that it’s unlikely to happen in reality. Which is not the case.
Give some folks the right amount of money and we could probably prove/disprove a lot of conspiracies faster. The problem with proving some of them true means that people would have to take the proverbial rose-colored glasses off regarding their governing bodies, the political parties and the politicians that they believe in and accept that they’ve been lied to. Some people refuse to accept the truth even when it’s slapping them in the face…repeatedly.

There is fun ones and ones that really raise eye brows which is why I love the Tin Foil Hat podcast with Sam Tripoli. Being a conspiracy theorist is like living in a horror movie where you constantly try to warn the people around you but it’s like they’re trapped by the script that they’re in so that they continually make the worst decisions possible. It’s like they’re non-player characters who are just…. controlled.
To the willfully ignorant a “conspiracy theorist” is deliberately misused as a synonym to “someone who doesn’t blindly and completely believe the ruling class/government like I/we do”. And a “conspiracy theory” is, to them, a synonym of “any idea that portrays the ruling class/state in a bad light”. But because neither of those aren’t exactly illogical, especially when looking at history, they use words like “conspiracy” as a euphemism. The ironic thing is is that a conspiracy/people conspiring, especially people in power, isn’t illogical either. Conspiracy literally means a group of people (con-) working together to achieve/make real a commonly shared goal/aspiration (-spiracy/aspire) and history is full of them, of both the clandestine type and mundane type.

@WatchMojo I was shocked to come to this conclusion, it was always a conspiracy in my eyes until surviving through a nightmare I never EVER thought would or could happen to me or my family, but it would seem in Maine, specifically, that “family courts” are being used to traffic children stolen from vulnerable parents who are being led through the system blindly by state funded agencies, who rush hearings coercing waivers of rights and many more illegalities, all accomplished under the guise of child protection…. Maine is widely considered the most rural state in the US, and from personal experience corruption runs rampant here, but only those who challenge that are ending up affected by it, anyone I’ve known to challenge the views or thoughts of others especially authorities, has ended up with criminal records! So the alien crash thing…My gram worked at the pentagon after WW2, she said not the famous crash but a few years later, closer to 1950 there was an actual crash in the area and she was in a room and the machine went crazy, it was written in code and she started translating it and then it went off and the room next to her she could hear the machine go off in there. She had pretty high clearance but not enough to get more details other than an alien space ship crashed, 2 aliens died on impact and another got out, wandered around and collapsed to the ground. She said the description was very stereotypical, the were about 5ft tall and green, no outward genitalia and they had big eyes and long fingers, she said they had suction cup like finger tips. whatever else happened she didn’t get to read it but that was a lot. she knew a lot of things that she said she couldn’t talk about as it was classified but that was something where she was like, people talk about it enough I don’t care at this point. I also pointed out that she was in her 70’s what were they going to do, throw her in jail? she still didn’t want to tell me other things…so I think the story is another cover up to keep people from freaking out. she said, a person is intelligent but people are stupid. One person can handle the truth but humans en mass can’t. They freak out too much…so they keep things from us.
Roswell was NOT a balloon. The guy who was first on the scene was a highly decorated US Army officer who was trained to release Mogul balloons. If that’s what it was, he would have just said nothing and carted the pieces away. As it happens, he took samples home to his children because they were like nothing he’d ever seen before. The balloon story was the cover story. What crashed there has been definitively proven to have been a craft, not a balloon.
The reality is that every ‘conspiracy theory’ has its adherents, advocates and investigators. And, when we look back after finding that one of the six, half dozen or hundred unique theories was in some measure based upon a fact now established beyond the shadow of a doubt (with the exceptions, of course, of those believing and asserting the contrary) we are able to put a YouTube article together declaring “we knew it all along!”

The US blamed the Spanish forces stationed in Havana, and the American-Spanish war then began. It turns out the ship was sabotaged by US Navy personnel as a pretext for the US to go to war with Spain, allowing the US to take territory in Cuba, Phillipines, and other locations in the Pacific. 1915, British passenger liner RMS Lucitania was sunk off the coast of Ireland by a German U-boat (submarine). Many American passengers were on board, and it became a rallying cry for the US to enter WW1. Although it was indeed sunk by a German U-boat, the blame is purely on the shoulders of Winston Churchill, who was First Lord of the Admiralty at the time. Churchill gave the order for protective escort ships to leave the Lucitania unescorted, knowing it ran the risk of being sunk by German U-boats. The purpose was for the Lucitania to be sunk, which would draw the US into the war. And it worked. December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, was attacked by Japanese planes, bringing the US into WW2. We now know US spies encouraged Japan to launch the attack (Japan did not realize they were American spies). Once the plan was drawn and the details worked-out, the agents notified their contacts in the White House. On December 7, 1941, the day selected for the attack, an order was given to stand-down the operators of a key look-out station near Pearl Harbor. The most important look-out post was vacant at the time the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, allowing the US to enter the war under false pretence.

I have to disagree with the conspiracy arguments around the two Gulf Wars with Iraq. They really did invade a country that we have a mutual defense treaty with (Kuwait). And under the terms of Iraq’s surrender treaty, it was the presumption of international law that Iraq had WMDs until/unless they (Iraq) proved otherwise to the satisfaction of the UN inspectors. You can think the wars were wrong, but you can’t call them a conspiracy.
The Roswell incident was absolutely a cover-up. On the other hand, the rest of this stuff is not conspiracy theories merely secrets that we found out. I knew in the late ’60s but the government was perusal. In 1970. I did a march on Washington and some crew cut kept jumping around and taking photos of me. About the Roswell crash, it was never plausible that the wreckage of a weather balloon was mistaken for flying saucer wreckage, nor that Mogul balloon wreckage was mistaken for saucer. But it doesn’t follow from these two official lies that what came down was an extraterrestrial space craft. More likely, the initial announcement to the press that a flying saucer had been recovered was itself a deliberate lie, intended to be retracted. In this way, two layers of cover could be created created for a classified Mogul balloon whatever it was. (Some other classified, non-exotic object?) Cover story layer 1: flying saucer. Cover story layer 2: ordinary weather balloon apparatus mistaken for a flying saucer. (The crashed saucer story could have been intended to have long-term propaganda value, too.) The clever trick is to make people think that a sexy, fascinating cover story is actually the thing you’re trying to cover up. If the first layer cover story is wild enough, most people will blow off the entire event as something unimportant after the second layer cover story comes out. If this is correct, then what our government still won’t come clean about regarding Roswell is really this counterintelligence method of multi-layered cover stories. Even though all the major intelligence agencies of other countries probably know this tactic. That’s my theory, and I’m no traitor for saying so.

I feel like a lot of people here think we should take conspiracy theorists for granted. To be fair they get a lot of theories right, just like how journalists at times can post accurate stories in the news. However, we should remember about evidence and providing proof. We’ve been talking about scrutinizing journalists and mainstream media lately due to the bias that can be found in the industry. Words can be a powerful weapon for both those who tell the truth and those who lie. While getting proof for conspiracy theorists is bound to be as hard as it is for journalists, they still have to be scrutinized so we accept the truth and not lies.

“Balloons were used to detect sound waves” Project Mogul is strange because sound travels slow and distorts over distances, and in the vacuum of space the sound would be impossible, however the alleged purpose of the balloon is to detect long-distance sound waves from low earth orbit. For a nuclear blast visible from low earth orbit, I wonder why they wouldn’t try to detect light instead of sound, the way we look for impacts on the moon.

My father was stationed on that base when that incident occurred and he said it wasn’t a weather balloon. Tobacco is just another way to poison and kill off the American people. As an equestrian this horrifies me. Having your horse bolt on the road is my worst nightmare. I’ve seen my friend’s horse go through the windshield of a car (car had no way to know the horse was going to bolt out of a side road in front of it; driver and passenger survived, the horse had to be euthanised. I had to crawl into the wrecked car to hold his head and keep him calm under the vet arrived). The grey horse covered in blood – I know it looks white but it’s actually classed as grey as it has grey skin; white horses have pink skin – was limping but like most prey animals it’ll keep moving in its panic. It seems like it was the one that slipped over, hopefully it’s just superficial injuries and a twisted ankle that’ll need rest. Well done to the man who caught that horse; he seemed to know what he was doing.
All five horses involved in the incident are now captured, safe and being given the best possible vetinary treatment. According to Radio 2 earlier today, the horses were spooked by workmen this morning, laying cement in the road. Two of the horses (probably the injured grey and the black horse) were able to gallop a distance of 5 miles from the scene of the accident in Buckingham Palace road. 4 people have been injured as a result of the incident. No further details given.
After the white horse slams into the parked double decker bus at the 00:10 time code mark, the beautiful horse appears to have blood in it’s nostrils, an open chest wound; or wounds, and blood on the front side of both rear legs. The blood on it’s body was probably caused by glass shards from the parked bus’s smashed windshield (seen at 00:15) that it slammed into at a 3/4 gallop.
Apparently, the horses were startled by noises from a building site. Seems strange to me given that these horses are trained to not react to loud noises, but they are still animals. I understand people are concerned for the horses. There were clearly terrified and at least one of them hurt (But the fact they were still running indicates that it’s not too bad, thankfully), but why are so few people concerned for the five people that have been hurt? Getting thrown off, kicked by or mowed down by a lean, half ton animal is no joke.
Oh..what a shocking and scary scene. So upsetting, thanks to that guy getting the reigns.. heard in an update they threw their riders and took off after building rubbish going through a chute near their training ground – which can be very loud and unexpected. Horses will always ‘spook’ at the unknown…. however trained they are…. Sometimes….this ‘training’ designed for conformity per se…. actually restricts the true life for the horse…. This in turn….like any animal…. (and we can never ever truly know how they feel or think…) will take flight (like anyone)….when a threatened unknown to them is actual or perceived…. 😕 I hope the horses and people are ok…. 😢

Vida, the white horse seen drenched in blood as it galloped down Aldwych in between London’s historic financial center and the busy West End theater district, was the most visibly injured and was treated for lacerations after a collision with a taxi car. Quaker, the other horse to be operated on, was transferred to an equine hospital for specialist care after a collision with a bus.
This could have ended much more tragically! It’s worth mentioning though that it’s an equestrian fact that horses really don’t like sudden change and can be easily spooked even from something as small as a field mouse aswell as a sudden change in their daily routine and diet. It’s believed that one or more of these horses involved got spooked during Royal parade processions although what exactly happened in detail isn’t exactly clear at this stage but as mentioned previously horses don’t like sudden change which this alone can spook them. Whatever the exact case in this event over this incident then am sure a full investigation as to what exactly happened will be prompt and thorough in full for all parties involved and concerned to help prevent that something like this never happens again!

Army horses spooked during a military extended exercise sparked ‘total mayhem’ as they tore through central London pursued by police, smashing into cars, a taxi and a tourist bus. The army horses were reportedly scared when building materials were dropped from height at a construction site right next to them in Belgravia during the routine exercise. Chaos then erupted when four soldiers got thrown off and seven of the animals ran off.
The Militrary need to urgently review how they manage equines within the context of modern day challenges. The events earlier this week could have been avoided if a pre-ride reconesance excercise had taken place. This is a must in today’s London. The Militrary need to work with the mounted police regarding safety in preparing horses for public duty and roadwork. Hi VIS(ability) PPE was missing from both horses and riders. This may have caught the eye of the construction workers prompting them to stop work whilst the troop past by. The police use PPE effectively for horse and rider. The army needs to realise that safety comes before traditional exercise dress. Following the British Horse Society Riding and Road Safety Guidelines for a start. An outcome from these events must be that Hi VIS PPE is mandatory for roadwork.
This stupid practice of making horses stand outside palaces should be stopped. It’s dumb and unnecessary. There is zero reason for a soldier to sit on a horse all dressed up in ceremonial gear for tourists to take pictures with. Just use statues. It’s too much to ask for soldiers and horses to stand there for Charles and Camilla. It’s actually so grotesque and insulting to both the horse and the soldier.

I’m guess the white horse was the one that hit a stationary double decker as it looks so bloody and awful. Poor thing. They said the horses ( five in all ) got spooked while doing their routine exercise at Belgrave Square and bolted after a load bang by a workmen delivering concrete. I hope their all alright 😢

I still have a really hard time understanding the UK’s laws surrounding horse riding and equestrian activities in public spaces… (I’m from North America where riding laws tend to be more restrictive, even for cavalry enforcement). Often times I see articles of horses in places that I would NEVER think to take mine. I hope these guys were ok
Omg poor horses due to someone who didnt keep up with their animals better. No ones gonna talk about the people who were injured and not always about some poor animal or why it took police so long to get ahold of them before people got injured or lowered the number on how many were hurt. Some people may never be able to live the same due to injuries from stupid 💩 like this.
