A Warlock casting a spell with an attack roll using their Pact Blade (Dagger) as a spell focus for the spell is considered making an attack “with” the dagger. Artificer spells, such as Firebolt and Ray of Frost, can be used to sneak attack with any spell requiring an attack roll. Classes that qualify for this include Warlocks, College of Swords Bards, Artificers, and anyone with the uncommon Ruby of the War Mage.
Warlocks can use any weapon summoned with their Pact of the Blade feature as a spellcasting focus for their spells. The weapon gains a +1 bonus to take both actions on your turn. However, a spell with an attack roll cannot be used as the attack in the Attack action or as part of the Extra Attack feature.
Etherealness (PHB) is too situational for the Warlock to handle challenges addressed by Etherealness. In general, any spell that requires an attack roll can be used to sneak attack. The Arcane Trickster ability allows for sneak attack with fireball, which normally requires a save.
The Wiki needs an overhaul to clarify that Sneak Attack with Ranged Spell Attacks requiring an Attack Roll can be used. Eldritch Blast can be combined with Sneak Attack, but the spell does not directly affect the attack. Eldritch Smite requires expendment of a warlock spell slot to trigger it, unlike Divine Smite which allows the use of any spell slot. Rogues can sneak attack as long as the target has an enemy within 5 feet of it. From the Rogue’s Sneak attack, you don’t need advantage on the attack roll.
