Two-handed weapons only require two hands when attacking, meaning that you can let go with one hand during casting. If the weapon forms part of the material cost, such as the Improved Pact Weapon feat, you need a free hand to cast spells with somatic components. However, martials catch up at 4 when they get access to striking and then 5 when they get increased.
You can still cast spells while holding a two-handed weapon without any special feats or abilities. Versatile/two-handed weapons can always free a hand, and the dual wielder feat can give you 2 interactions per turn. The war caster feat allows you to make somatic. It is commonly accepted that you can free one of your hands and cast a spell with it, while using the other to hold the weapon.
In combat, 90 of spells can be cast two-handing a weapon. You can perform the somatic components of spells even when you have weapons or a shield in one or both hands. When a hostile creature’s movement occurs, you can use one hand to make the somatic component of a spell while holding a two-handed weapon in the other hand.
By RAW, a player cannot use spell combat with a two-handed weapon despite the free vestigial arm. You only need two hands on the weapon when you are only carrying the 2H weapon, not wielding it. Additionally, you cannot use two-handed weapons, such as bows or greatswords.
You may cast all of your oracle spells as if they were modified by the Still Spell. The Horn of the Criosphinx (Combat Feat) 2x STR to damage with a charge attack with a 2H weapon (note: monks can also use this with both hands free).
