Magic mouthwash is a prescription-only topical treatment that contains a combination of medications designed to soothe and heal oral irritations. It is often prescribed to help treat pain caused by mouth sores, which may develop from chemotherapy and radiation. However, studies have had conflicting results. Some have found no benefit, while one recent study found that it was better at relieving pain than a flavored mouthwash.
Magic mouthwash is a medicated mouthwash mixture made of different medications used to relieve pain from mouth and throat sores. It may help treat a sore mouth and ease mucositis symptoms. A doctor may also recommend it to help prevent mouth sores. It is difficult to know whether magic mouthwash is a bona fide treatment or a sleight of hand.
One of the oldest tooth pain-treating tricks is rinsing with salt water. Historical records indicate toothache victims in ancient China gargled with salt water. In another study, people who had head and neck radiation treatments found that magic mouthwash gave them better pain relief than a flavored mouthwash.
Magic mouthwash may also help alleviate pain and discomfort associated with canker sores, cold sores, oral thrush, or other types of mouth ulcers. Most mouth rinses can help relieve toothaches, but they cannot alleviate all types of toothaches. Magic mouthwash, also known as mixed medication mouthwash, is often prescribed to help ease the discomfort of certain mouth sores or ulcers.
📹 10 Toothache Home Remedies that ACTUALLY Work Fast 🦷
Let’s talk about ways to relieve tooth pain while waiting for an appointment with your dentist! Wondering how to stop tooth pain fast …
How do you calm down an infected tooth?
An abscessed tooth can be quickly relieved by applying cold compresses, salt water rinse, and over-the-counter pain relievers. However, a dental professional is needed to fully heal the abscess, which may take 1-2 weeks. Antibiotics, prescribed by a dentist, are the fastest and most effective way to eliminate pain and swelling. Home remedies like fenugreek tea, essential oils, and garlic can also help relieve discomfort and enhance healing.
Does magic mouthwash really work?
Magic mouthwash is a unique type of mouthwash that requires a prescription and may contain antibacterial, anesthetic, or antifungal ingredients. It differs from regular mouthwashes as they require a prescription and may be cheaper than custom mouthwashes. However, it is important to be aware of potential irritants in over-the-counter mouthwashes, such as alcohol, which can worsen pain, and sodium lauryl sulfate, which has been linked to canker sores. It is essential to consult a doctor before using any mouthwash to ensure it is suitable for your specific needs.
How do you flush out a tooth infection?
A saltwater rinse is a method of eliminating bacteria, irrigating the oral cavity, removing debris, and disintegrating pus in the vicinity of an abscess. A saline rinse can be prepared using regular table salt and warm tap water, and has been demonstrated to be effective in breaking up pus.
Can I swallow magic mouthwash?
Dr. Janet Morgan, MD, discusses the effectiveness of magic mouthwash, a prescription-only topical treatment designed to ward off mouth sores. The small dose of the mouthwash is safe for accidental swallowing, and it is advised to avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes after use to allow the treatment to work. Magic mouthwash comes in different formulas and is formulated to address mouth sores that may result from various factors. The treatment is a natural and effective way to alleviate mouth sores.
How many days can you use magic mouthwash?
Magic Mouthwash is a medication used to treat oral ulcerative diseases in dogs, such as feline oral stomatitis, painful caustic or chemical injuries, electrical burns, uremic ulcers, and infectious or autoimmune oral ulcerative diseases. It is equivalent to 23mL of lidocaine at 6. 67mg/mL and can be titrated as needed for individual case scenarios. The absolute expiration date is 21 days after mixing. Refills are not recommended, and owners should dispose of any remaining liquid.
The Magic Mouthwash may be better tolerated if kept cold in the refrigerator for dosing. It is not a specific treatment but a good option for adjunct pain management and control of inflammation and “itch” associated with loss of the oral mucosal layer and regrowth.
Is it okay to swallow magic mouthwash?
The dosage of the medication should be given every 3 hours for pain relief. Younger children can apply it using a syringe or cotton swab, while older children can swish, gargle, and swallow. It is advised to avoid eating or drinking anything for 20 minutes after treatment. For children over 3 years old, a children’s chloraseptic spray may be used 10 minutes before eating meals for pain relief.
Does Magic mouthwash prevent infection?
Magic mouthwash may help treat sore mouths and alleviate mucositis symptoms, but its effectiveness is uncertain. Oral cryotherapy, a non-invasive treatment, may be more effective for some people due to its lack of side effects. A 2015 study found that morphine mouthwash may be more effective than magic mouthwash in treating mouth sores in 30 adults with head and neck cancer. Further research is needed to confirm these findings.
Does Magic mouthwash help with pain?
Magic mouthwash is a combination of pharmaceutical agents that is used to alleviate discomfort associated with oral and pharyngeal lesions. There is no standardised recipe or set of instructions, and the most appropriate ingredients will be determined by the prescriber. The functionality of cookies is not supported by your browser.
What do you do for unbearable tooth pain?
Severe toothaches, along with fever and chills, indicate a dental emergency. A dentist conducts an examination and may take a dental X-ray to identify any issues beneath the gums. There are various toothache treatments available, depending on the severity of the situation. Antibiotics and pain relievers can temporarily ease toothache symptoms, but they are temporary and will return unless the underlying issue is addressed. It is crucial to call a dentist or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
How do you stop nerve pain in your tooth asap?
To manage tooth pain, use over-the-counter pain relievers and rinse with warm water. Avoid chewing on the sore tooth and stick to soft foods. Avoid hot, cold, or sweet foods and drinks. If you experience a toothache with a pounding head, throbbing gums, and tender mouth, see a dentist immediately. In the meantime, use home remedies like swishing warm, salty water around the mouth, flossing around the sore tooth, or using a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. Always rinse thoroughly and spit out the solution, not swallowing it. Remember to avoid using undiluted hydrogen peroxide.
Will mouthwash help tooth pain?
Toothaches frequently signify the presence of an infection, and the use of mouth rinses has been demonstrated to provide relief from certain categories of toothaches. Nevertheless, in instances of toothaches caused by infection, antiseptic mouthwashes may be a requisite intervention.
📹 How I Stopped My Painful Tooth Infection FOR PENNIES
Here is a simple video on how I stopped my tooth pain from a broken tooth infection. With simple household items – I’m not saying …
These are things that worked for me while I was in pain 1.warm saltwater 2. Ibuprofen (sometimes) 3. Orajel and other numbing ointments 4. Ice 5. Do not lay down flat sleep with your head elevated 6. Gargle the infected area with hydrogen peroxide as this will help with popping by the abscess after the tooth abscess has popped you will fill INSTANT RELIEF However none of these are permanent solutions you need antibiotics like amoxicillin and you must have the tooth pulled or a root canal or some form of dental work done if you are reading this and are in pain I wish you the best I know how much it hurts
I just woke up at 3:30 AM because of an damn toothache. It HURTS so bad I can punch someone. I tried toothbrushing it, didnt work. Thankgod for this article, the warm water with salt method eased it abit. Im having headaches now as I write this comment.😣 If I have time, I will go to the dentist. I need to get my teeth cleaned and checked out. STAY STRONG PEEPS THIS IRRITATING PAIN WILL EVENTUALLY GO AWAY
I had a toothache once and had to wait 3 days for an appointment. I had to sleep standing up against a wall for 3 nights as the pain was horrendous when lying down. I was so tired and also had to work. I was the happiest person around when I came out the dentist with the root canal done and no more pain. Thanks for another great article. My dental routine is so good now thanks to your articles.
I tried the warm salt water method, the pain ceased like it wasn’t even there. For that, thank you so much! Before that method, I was taking pain meds, cooling off my cheek and even shoving a medicine ball into the infected area (there’s a stomachache medicine in my country that also helps with toothaches when put into the infected tooth or gum region), which all worked for a few minutes but then the pain returned like a storm. Can’t wait for the appointment tomorrow to get the problem fixed, I miss getting decent sleep.
Some of these comments really made me laugh while I’m in agony here. The ones about sleeping standing upright had me in tears cause that’s how I feel I’m gonna sleep tonight cause I got no sleep last night. I’ve tried a lot of things but I’d like to add one to the list – Coconut Oil! Just take a teaspoon and swish it around the sore tooth, definitely gives me temporary relief. I had clove oil so I made a mixture of clove and coconut oil 2 weeks back and it killed the pain instantly and it was gone for 2 weeks. Now it’s back with revenge and I’m booked to get the tooth pulled tomorrow morning. What also worked for me strangely at times was just swishing room temp water in my mouth. It’s so random. Mouthwash rinse followed by normal water. Also if you have Sensodyne toothpaste, that is helping me get by too. What’s absolutely insane is how many Ibuprofen I’ve taken today and I can’t tell if they’re even helping one bit. I was taking Ibuprofen and chasing it with 1000mg Paracetamol too, bonkers. I’ve had Kidney Stones too before and I can tell you that it’s worse than toothache but toothache stands up in it’s own right for one of the most constant horrendous pains one can experience. Someone said they want to take pliers and pull there teeth out, well what did they do in the old days. I would do the same if we had no access to dentists lol
I had a toothache last night. Because I have a filling that came out. Dennis won’t do anything but pull it. So I clean the food out and I put raw garlic on it to kill bacteria and I put olive oil and switched it around for an hour. And I took chelated magnesium. The good quality stuff to get at the health food store. 80% of magnesium is stored in your bones/teeth. When I ate too much sugar and ice cream my body extracted the magnesium from my bone to process the sugar. giving me a toothache. As long as I don’t eat sugar and I eat good food with plenty of magnesium I don’t have a toothache. And it went away last night. It was throbbing and healing and tickling. this morning I have no pain after a good night’s sleep
Started first session of my root canal treatment last week. Had sleepless nights for two weeks because of throbbing pain, which felt like two years. The pulp was disinfected and then sealed with a temporary filling until the next session. I experienced relief for a whole week, but woke up with excruciating pain that has me wanna kill myself. My dentist says we need to expose the nerve more before cleaning the canals. All I can think of is : this pain will never go away, I am crippled and damned for life. Feeling extremely hopeless.
To anyone who may read this and is currently experiencing a horrible toothache, do not hesitate on calling your dentist to get a root canal or pulpotomy done. They don’t hurt and you’ll have instant relief. I had a horrible toothache that quite literally prevented from sleeping for 48 hours. I was in some of the worst pain I have ever been in and dreaded going to the dentist. I called my dentist, he got me in the next day and I was out of there in less than 45 mins and had a smile on my face. Dentist’s are superheroes and will help you so much. Don’t worry about it being painful, I assure you that you have nothing to worry about. You’re only going to worry about why you didn’t get in there quicker!
I ve been drinking ginger ale with ice, so it s really cold, takes my pain away, maybe the bubbles do something I don’t know, trying not to take too much Advil or Tylenol, have an appointment for extraction July 12, oral surgeon, already have taken antibiotics, so hoping I can keep it at bay until then 🙏🏻do salt water rinses too, and cold water rinses 😊
I currently have a very bad tooth ache ( a loose back molar with cavity ). I have 2 days before I have it pulled by a dental surgeon. It is a dull throbbing consistent pain !! I can not sleep and have not slept in 2 days. I tried salt water, clove oil, antiseptic mouth wash, and medications. I have never felt a pain so bad in my life.
IF YOU EVER HAVE TEETH PAIN!! Clove oil might help you. Especially in the mouth. My partner had a horrific dental surgery and was prescribed Vicodin and could feel the nerve pain through everything they took for it. Nothing helped and we thought it was hopeless. But we were recommended clove oil by a friend and it made the recovery process endlessly better. Please please if you have an inability to take the meds they prescribe, definitely look into it. It also helps with gums and lots of different mouth issues. I hope that this comment will save even just 1 person from that kind of pain especially when the medical systems fail us.
Hi guys from past 5 days i was in so much of pain as in my left side they extracted the molar teeth and wisdom then the day I got it removed my other side started paining intensely it started like a sensitivity issue but in the end it was a pricking sharp constant pain…..even pain killer didn’t work suddenly one day i tried clove oil and you can imagine that by that time 3 days went with that severe pain no sleep no food anything and the day I put clove oil it was the biggest relief I had as it numbs your area but do remember that clove oil is a raw substance so try to put it carefully otherwise it will damage your gums and soft tissue and today in the morning after so many calls and asking for the appointment they called me and gave me the morning appointment i cried for an hour in happiness when I went then he saw and said that some kind of artificial cavity is there and he did RCT which means root canal and and saw that on small tint nerve got inflated the moment he removed it all my pain went off and i am so happy 🥺🥺🥺but guys i can feel that pain no one can compare this pain with anyone as tooth pain is the worst pain …. Take care guys
Thanks girl! Hope u read this! I have an app on Thursday the 15th to get this dadgum tooth looked at. Ibuprofen works great for about 3-4 hrs. The salt water gargle was the ticket for me. All I had was some slap yo mama seasoning so I mixed that up in some warm water and wallah! Pain subsided so I could get back to sleep. Thanks again!
Another tip (I’m NOT A SPECIALIST, just saying what worked for me) * The CLASSIC BROWN LISTERINE – It’s going to burn like most mouth rinse with some alcohol already in it. – yet if you can make it through 30 to 60 seconds of rinse – you will feel some relief – I went from almost crying tooth pain & couldn’t sit/lay still….to finally being able to fall asleep with light tooth pain (Don’t worry I took care of it within the following week 😅) I kept a bottle of it everywhere I went even purchased a few travel sizes to keep in my pocket, SMH SAD but true 🤦🏽✌🏾 ~ 2023 July
ALWAYS dilute peroxide with water! Couple years ago i had a abscess burst (worst experience ever) cause I thought the pain was my wisdom teeth coming in. I rinsed with peroxide but wasn’t aware you need to dilute it, the next morning my mouth was raw. Ended up dealing with chemical burns all over my mouth, a severely infected tooth, and a blood infection from not knowing my tooth was abscessed.
I’ve been doing the garlic and the salt water and it’s really been helping. I like Garlic anyway but I don’t like eating it raw burns your mouth but it really does work. I can’t get into see the dentist for another week and a half. I’m on a cancellation list and finding them tomorrow and tell him I can’t take it anymore.
Ever since my filling on the left, my right side has been having shooting pain on and off. Went to dentist he said there’s nothing wrong, no cavities nothing. I’m loosing my mind. I’ve been taking Advil nightly just to sleep. I floss daily, I brush 3x a day. He said there’s nothing he can do for my bite which might be the culprit so what am I supposed to do, it’s taking over my life. I get a flare up in any tooth on the right every 5-10 mins. Someone help me, idk what’s causing this and what to do to find what’s causing this. This can’t be my life from now on 🥺
I wud luv to just share one of my friends bad near fatal experience after a simple dentistry procedure . This friend of mine went suddenly into a coma..thus confusing all the medical practitioners…No one wud have thawt of the reason behind his comatosed state for almost six months…Apparently just prior to this coma my friend had an tooth extraction performed…Unfortunately the dentist unknowingly left a piece of tooth fragments which was already decaying due to absis…this inturn got closed over by gum during healing …which inturn turned his blood into toxic and septic occurence…Luckily they thawt of his dental procedure and a day after they removed the foreign bodies my friend stepped out the coma…Thank God now he has a second chance in life…Just my info and insight whilst on the dental topic🤔😁😉
Ommmmmgggggg y’all just Don’t know how much this just seriously helped me…I only had minced garlic and when I say I was nervous because it was in the fridge but hunnyyyy I put 2 small scoops and rubbed it on the back by the wisdom teeth and I literally could feel it work ASAP baking soda and salt water had nothing on the garlic hands down and they were used first Seriously Thank you SOOOOOO MUCH 💕🙌🏾
If you have an abscessed tooth, please do not rinse with salt water. I did this and instantly regretted it. It will make your gum and infected area raw and throb.. I believe it made my toothache worse for about a week of excruciating pain. Be careful with some of these remedies they aren’t for everyone. I’m just telling from my experience only.
A few years ago I chipped a tooth eating m&ms and afterwards I had pain that was so bad I couldn’t sleep at night because the pain made me restless. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while and this pain was so intense that I finally looked into finding a dentist and I was able to find a dentist that accepted my insurance. When I went in and they did the exam, that tooth where I felt pain and the tooth next to it needed root canals. I had the root canals done and felt so much better.
Before treatment i rinse my mouth twice can i use one cinnamon stick and 4 cloves and pour hot water into bowl until it warm then gargle my mouth for 10 mins at night But i rinse again and using toothpaste mouthwash (colgate) for 1 – 2 mins after that rinse again and done for tonight i tried just now for my first time but i am not sure this remedy is work or not i have question abt the remedy is good for day or night how many times for a week because i have small 3 cavities in front of my teeth which is recently started… but i felt very little pain after treatment and does it mean treatment is fighting bacteria until there is no bacteria i khow cinnamon sticks amd cloves anti fungal and mircobal which kills bacteria on my teeth i need help for safely purpose and any good advice for this remedy like do or don’t in your article salt DIY – they used normal cooking salt or korea sea salt how many mins or seconds to gargle the mouth also how many teaspoon of salt required example half teaspoon plssssssss reply and thank you
I’m having the worst pain I’ve had in a long time, in a tooth on top AND a tooth on bottom 😖 and it’s only been two days since I had a root canal and a Molar extraction on the other side 💀 God Please Spare Me. Pain I can’t control really triggers my anxiety and so times forces me into a full blown panic attack. I HATE Tooth Pain 😖😖😖
I’ve been having some bad toothaches too, and right now at the moment I’m dealing with myself as well, fighting depression here and there sometimes, it’s so hard to even bring myself to the dentist because I’m scared and ashamed, its just a different feeling to deal with and its so hard when your alone. I don’t know what to do.
One of the best things I’ve ever used for a toothache and abscess is Turmeric combined with black pepper usually a tea spoon of both with a gulp of water and just rinse it around teeth for 20 minutes soon as I spat it out the toothache had gone and the abscess was diminished, the black pepper enhances Turmerics affect but just on its own it’s probably the best anti inflammatory and bacteria fighting agent of nature
I am not a dental or medical professional in any way. So obviously I can’t argue against her advice or advise you myself about dental and/or medical issues. But I can tell you what did and did not work for me when I had really bad tooth pain. The cold compress was a horrible idea at that time, it caused the pain to increase exponentially. I didn’t make it 2 minutes before I had to remove it, the pain was so unbearable. It caused non-stop, excruciating throbbing until the sensation of coldness completely subsided, immediately followed up by a rigorous swishing of lukewarm water in that area of my mouth. After that the pain came in waves. Some mild, others intense. Every time from that point on whenever I felt pain I would swish with room temp water and the pain would calm down for a few minutes until the next wave came along. Three miserable nights of that. Something that worked surprisingly well in relieving pain, however, was exercise. Physical activity in general, really. After a few minutes of throbbing at the start of an hour and a half workout the pain completely vanished, even when I would consciously think about it. It wasn’t even tender to the touch anymore. And the pain stayed away for hours afterward too. Something as simple as taking a shower or doing laundry kept the pain at bay while I was involved in the respective activity, for the most part. Again, I’m just a dude on the internet and not someone who should really be giving advice. Go to the dentist, perio is a horrible horrible diease.
The only thing that worked for me is two zapain and two iboprofen, we used nurofen. Zapain is essentially codeine and paracetamol and is stronger than paracetamol alone. If my tooth is bad in the middle of night, I can take them and it will get me back to sleep. I don’t take it in the day time as zapain can make you tired!!
It’s 4:00am in the morning I’ve tried everything cold compress, muscle relaxers, salt water, Colgate gel. Everything the only thing keeping me alive right now is vanilla extract wow it literally fixed me up I don’t want to jinx this but I’m typing this whole thing out with a q tip soaked in vanilla extract in my mouth
I brush my teeth with senodyne when it first started ;an Itty bitty sign of relief while brushing Put peroxide in my mouth and hold it until my mouth was full of foam. The pain stops, but will quickly come back. I read the comments, Don’t have vanilla extract, clove oil, none of it, so I pour roughly about 3 tablespoon of salt in a glass, hot water to dissolved it,stirred it vigorously because I am in severe pain. I put it in my mouth,More pain for about 20 seconds, I almost started crying until I realized it was working. My toothache is stabilized for now.cant tell how long right now because,I literally just did it. Salt water WORKS.THANK YOU ALL IN THE COMMENTS!
It’s a very bumpy ride if you’re like me that recently aged out of your parents health coverage. There are times I just can’t go to the dentist and just had to suffer for a couple weeks until I could. Only ice was helping but I had to have it literally 24/7. At one point it had gotten so bad no over the counter medication would work, maybe if I Overdosed but I’m not gonna risk my life over teeth pain obviously. What really helped was many factors, like my diet. Cutting out very sweet or hard foods helped. Sensodyne is a very great toothpaste to invest in, it’s a little more pricey but worth it.
1:24a.m…woke up around 11:45p.m.with pounding toothache 😭..just by seating up the pounding calm a bit..took the ibuprofen did the warm salt water & the vanilla extract 30min later the pain went down at least 80% Thank God & this informative article..started with sore toothache Friday..today Saturday the soreness turned into pounding..thanks to covid now we can do online “Doctors visit” did that..Dr. prescribed amoxicillion while a wait till Monday & get checked by the dentist….guess I’ll be sleeping in my recliner..which I’m fine with that..anything but the pounding pain..praying I can sleep now..Thank u again 😇🙏
I had fillings today as my tooth was really sore but afterwards it’s been absolutely killing I haven’t been able to eat and since then the pain is a lot worse now I’ve never had this before and I just can’t cope with it what should I do it’s absolute agony 😭😭😭 never been like this after a filling before please help
I’m on my second month of waiting to get seen to for a bad tooth. I’ve made three office visits, the last one to an endodontist, but my blood pressure was too high for them to proceed to treatment. The pain is intense, and relentless. Ibuprofen worked best, but I’ve had to switch to acetominophen as I’m taking a round of steroids. The pain relievers do absolutely nothing whatsoever. I’ve tried icing it, breathing exercises, meditation, none of it is any good. Any suggestions?
Tip: after getting your nerves removed from your tooth/teeth it will hurt for 1-2 days until ibuprofen works and stops the pain. (it might work sometimes but only for 30-45 minutes). If you can’t sleep just try to keep your head elevated like she said and if that doesn’t work get some sleep pills or your sleep schedule will get ruined. Trust me I’ve been there.
i have this weird pressure in my two front teeth when i lay on my side. I don’t know if it’s the gum or the tooth but it feels like a dull pain. Anyone know what this is? I don’t think i have any cracks in my teeth but i did accidentally slap my toothbrush against the bottom of the teeth a couple times.
I got toothache last night and couldn’t sleep. Had Clove Oil which helped for a bit but headache too started. SUCCESS – I tried to stop the flow of blood on my face to ease the pain temporarily. So, I started to stroke my penis, All blood went over there and immediately I was relieved of headache and tooth pain👌🏻.. but if you don’t keep your genitals stimulated less or more then blood goes back to face and pain starts again. I did this all night and morning 8am ran to doctor and fixed my teeth now. Just wanted to share with you guys in case of emergency 🤗
To everyone who cant sleep because of toothache: if you can grab whiskey or any drink with high alchool %. Take a little bit and let it sit on your mouth in that teeth for a while (as much time as the alchool lasts) it really helps to at least fall asleep by numbing the nerves. Let me know in the comments if it worked! 😊
Hello Whitney, I went to my dentist with a toothache a few months ago, and figured out it was my wisdom teeth but couldn’t get them out yet, because they are too close to the nerve so it’s high risk for nerve damage. I have to wait at least a year or even more, but the pain is really bad. Dentist told me there was no inflammation in the area. I take OTC meds, but they help only a tiny bit. I do some of the tricks you mentioned in this article as well. Clove oil is especially useful. Do you think I should go back/talk to my dentist about this, or should I just wait as instructed and take meds? Thanks in advance! Peace 🕊 love ❤️ and teeth 🦷
Im going on 5 months.. On a waiting list.. To have my tooth evaluated and extracted. I have always been able to tolerate pain… Surgeries, broken bones, puncture wounds, burns… Tattoos… You name it. This tooth pain, is the most painful, most god awful, most tearful pain I have ever experienced. I cant sleep at night, I have 3 forms of orajel, Ibuprofen, and antibiotics that I take now. I wish it would stop. My wife has spent every day for the last 2 weeks calling around, no dentist in the state of PA right now is even trying to help. My normal dentist referred me to a place that has me on a year plus long wait list, and when I asked for an urgent referral in person, he sucked his teeth, rolled his eyes and assured us that the referral would be sent.. That was 2 days ago and he never did. I dont want to say I wanna die, but literally this pain makes me wanna die. I am hoping that these methods work, I have never ever put ice to it, because I used to donate plasma religiously, but at the end when they give you IV… that chills your bones. That started hurting my sore tooth a few months ago and since then anything cold or cold air hurts my tooth so bad. This is probably a bad thing, but I find what relieves some pain is actually pressing against my cheek, temple, behind my ear, or under my throat, as hard as I can kinda rubbing my finger around it intensifies the pain for a second but then it feels relieved for a bit.. And biting down against it, the things she said not to do 🙁 only make it feel better.
Y’all go fill a cup of water with some salt and swish it around. Ts was pounding to the point I was literally panicking pulling my hair banging my face on the wall yes it’s that bad. If your a young person perusal this BRUSH YOUR FUCKING TEETH EVERYDAY. You do not want a toothache. Because toothache will put you in a horror movie except it’s real life. Anyways guys…I’ve been eating too many sweets hell i will admit it. Although all that around me that’s cheap is sweets im going to have to find better alternatives.
I get bouts of really really bad tooth pain and I rely on turmeric tablets. By far the best for the swelling which is what causes the pain. It swells along the nerve and the nerves from tour teeth all run to a whole in your skull right in front of your ear where your jaw hinges. The hole is only so big so the nerves get pinched and that’s why even tho your bad tooth is in one area a whole nother area can be in pain. Also this is where you should be putting your ice pack. If you feel around right where your jaw hinges you will feel it’s slightly swollen. Just some things I wish I would have known a lot of sleepless nights ago.
It’s 6:30 am and I haven’t slept. I’ve already been to the dentist after waiting 3 weeks. They couldn’t numb me and said I needed to go to a oral surgeon and have it drilled out. Well the only oral surgeon that is close and will take my insurance has a waiting list of 6 months. WTH!!! Everyone else is 2 hours or more away. What has happened to dentists and vets. No one works past 5 or weekends and can see you when you have a dire need. I don’t know what to do. My ritual included taking night time cold pills to dampen the pain and knock me out. Brushed with baking soda, rinsed with warm salt water, put clove oil on q tip on tooth, brushed with sensodyne, rinsed with warm salt water again. Put some arnica cream on cheek. Now I’ve propped myself up in bed and put Vicks on my jaw. It still hurts just not as bad. I may try the vanilla if I can’t get any sleep then if that doesn’t work maybe eye of newt.😳😬 Good Luck everyone.
My government dental insurance is gonna be up this month and I can’t renew it because of my income issues and I’ve already maxed the little coverage they provide each year and now I’ve got 2 teeth next to each other with holes in them that food gets in so I used the tooth sealant to protect them from the food but the pain is unbearable now. It’s down in my jaw and deep in my ear and my gums r extremely sore and I’ve been having to pop ibuprofen everyday almost going through a full bottle in less then a week. 😭😭 I need help so bad but I can’t afford to pay out of pocket for the work I need done 😭
Thank you so much it was 1 in the am I couldn’t sleep the pain was so bad I even took a shot of vodka trying to get rid of the pain I held vanilla extract on the whole left side of my mouth didn’t have any ice so I held an almost frozen water bottle on the area the pain is gone for now since I’m up I guess I start my kids food and laundry for the day thank you so much🎉🎉❤
This worked for me, AND FAST. I had severe pulsing pain with a molar and slept poorly, waking up continually. Crushed a clove of garlic and placed a small amount on problem gums/tooth. Kept adding fresh garlic about every hour. Severe pulsing pain was gone in 20-30 minutes. Also used ice pack on cheek. (Suggested by a Dentist in another article, to take 3 Advil capsules (600mg) three times a day for 3 days.) Will sleep with my head elevated tonight and see what happens, but the fast garlic relief was a blessing. Hope this works for you.
i’ve literally TRIED going to the dentist but they’ve all been CLOSED i’ve been having toothache pain for about 4 days straight and it’s been getting worser and worser . now i have to wait till monday November 28th. 2022 to get my tooth pulled… i’ve also been doing everything possible. i even used a whole tube of Orajel 😭 and it’s not working anymore … then i used The peroxide, orajel, salt & water rinse, Mouthwash for toothaches .. i even BRUSHED the tooth SOFTLY.. nothing is helping anymore. and i just wake up from my naps in PAIN. and i cry and cry and do everything possible to stop the pain nothing is working
I feel pain too, I know everyone else is as well. I hope every feels better after taking these remedies. I have to remove 2 of my upper Wisdom that are broken. My lower wisdoms are healthy. I have no pain eating. it seems to be…. in the gums? Dentist recommends its the wisdoms? But the oral surgeon says it looks to be just the uppers. I don’t know. I might see another dentist as see why my lower left gums seem discomfort, while the wisdoms look health there.
3AM TOOTH WAKE UP! Chewed 4 cloves and rubbed it on to the area, spat out the excess cloves, usually grind it up then apply but can’t be bothered, brought immediate relief. And a couple of asprin going back to bed, I ate too much chocolate and sweets the day before, now I’m paying for it sugar is such a addiction. ⛏️⛏️
I’ve been suffering for a few years with a wisdom tooth that’s slowly rotted. Last year I had my 2nd infection and it lasted 10 days! The pain was indescribable 😢😱 Just HELL Youd think I’d learn, NOPE! Infection came back again. So this time I got straight on the ball, Everytime I washed my mouth in peroxide it would send the pain crazy for ages! I’d fall asleep with a long hot water bottle on my neck as the infection was in my tooth & in my neck I know pain, I’ve never been a cry baby. Been walking around with a badly broken finger for 6 years I just get on with it but NOTHINGhas brought me to my knees more than this bloody tooth! Or lack of 1, A rotten wisdom tooth, half is missing, the other half still imbedded in my gums, My mental health has been poor so haven’t been looking after my teeth properly. So I decided to order all diff products to clean my teeth up. I used HIS SMILE to try and whiten them and then a week later I get this infection again so be careful people not to irritate your teeth if they haven’t had much products on them. So back to my infection, I find it so hard perusal articles on toothache when I actually have one! … I was thinking how can I relief this pain, No tablets was touching it so I didn’t have much hope! So I was Googling and then I sat up in bed and took the hot water bottle off my neck and just sobbed, My late grandmother isn’t here anymore & all I could picture was her and grandad and hearing her voice, I went into the kitchen and grabbed a teabag, no fancy ones!
Reasons people do not go to the dentist: 1: It costs a lot, even if you have a good income. If you’re disabled, and don’t have a good income, you may not have any choice but to wait. That was my situation for years. Luckily, now it is covered for me. 2: Some dentists will recuse to do work when there is an infection. I have been throigh this, many times, with a cheonic dry mouth condition, it is unavoidable. Going ti the ER after so many times for antibiotics, they will stop prescribing it to you. 3: Many health conditions may make it difficult. Nervousness is also a big factor, and if you have high abxiety with having dental work, having a sedative helps dramatically. But if you cannot get one, if the dentist does not provide nitrous gas, it can be a huge hump to get over. For those who do have these issues, may I suggest some things? 1: Garlic, ginger, bee propolis, apple cider vinegar, and fenugreek, fresh, or in supplements, can help with reducing infections, however, you will need antibiotics to completely rid it. Probiotics will also help reduce them. 2: Check with your doctor to see if they can provide a short prescription for a sedative, if you have high anxiety. It is a TREMENDOUS help, because I know how a dental appointment van induce high anxiety. 3: If you have a dry mouth condition, I suggest trying elderberry supplements. They help you “sweat”, but can also help yoxir salivary glands when you sleep. 4: If you are in Canada, funding for dental work is now available if you are in a household that earns under $90k a year.
thank goodness i saw this. I have a toothache ryt now and i cant sleep bc of it. so the reason it wont go away is bcz im laying down. i’ll be sleeping in the chair tonight, idk what time I”ll be able to sleep bc im literally in torture ryt now. I think all I did was cry in hours until my brain decided to search on yt. Im now trying Cold compress, been holding it cuz if I remove it, the pain will come back immediately. as soon as morning comes, i’ll buy some Advil. sigh. TOOTACHES ARE THE WORST PAIN EVER.

HALL’S THROAT LOZENGES………I found out by accident. I was coughing bad while using anbesol. I notice that I didn’t need the anbesol that morning because the ingredients in hall’s to stop throat pain WORKED ON MY TOOTH…it takes only a minute….. I’m telling y’all I haVE a BADDDD TOOTHACHE as I type but the hall’s tamed it…..crazy I know
My tooth aches when I bite down, or even when the other tooth touches the tooth with cavity, it’s so painful it’s like stabbing me again and again, it is also pulsating and has a throbbing pain, I have to be careful when biting because it’s so painful when it is touched. It is bothering me for 3 days now, I’ve taken pain relievers and now my last straw is these remedies. If this ache persists I might have to go to the dentist
I’m disabled and can’t find a single dentist in my state who’s willing to deal with me. I also don’t qualify for CareCredit because I don’t have a credit score, so even if I could find one out of state and magically appear there somehow, I can’t afford it anyway. I’ve lost 12lb and some vision in my eye from this. Nothing OTC is helping anymore, the pain has spread to my ear and collarbone and it’s increased my number of stress-induced seizures from 3-10 a week to 3+ a day. I don’t understand why dental emergencies aren’t treated like actual emergencies. This infection is going to kill me and the ER won’t give me any more antibiotics. At this point I just hope it happens soon….I’m literally about to attempt.
Never get a cavity again and how to stop a toothache and decay in its tracks. I had the worst pain I have ever felt in my 65 years. I tried everything that was on YouTube. Then I discovered that cavities are caused by acids that transform from sugars. Well being a little intelligent I thought to myself what neutralizes acid, the awnser is baking soda. Brush with baking soda and what do you know the toothache went away after two days and has not come back. So I would think that if you neutralized the acid on your teeth on a regular basis you would never get cavities. It would put dentists around the world out of business other than a cleaning or wisdom tooth extraction. It worked for me. I let it go too long so it took two days. So if you feel a cavity coming on, brush with baking soda for a few days and it will not only stop the pain but will prevent future cavities. Your welcome.
One word…BENADRYL… You may be sleepy for a few hours after you take it, but it WILL get rid of the swelling, pain, and infection. The pus from the infection is nothing more than poisonous mucus. The benadryl is made to help sinuses (a lot of it is controlling mucus). It worked for me within 20 minutes. Knocked the pain out QUICK, took down the swelling, and after 2-3 days passed, the abcess was still gone.
I did this method on my infected tooth and took a tylenol and went to sleep. Woke up with my sleep schedule fixed, the pain and inflammation had gone from an 8 to a 1.5, did it again that night and the next morning, and the pain/inflammation went to about 0.5. 3 days later and its completely gone. I think the infection has literally healed from this, Imma keep doing it just in case and try to completely heal it naturally. Thanks alot, this is just proof the medical/pharmaceutical industry are shams to bleed peoples banks dry
Hi I want to thank you for posting this vidoeo. I was in so much pain for I had a abscess in my tooth and gum. I was schedule to see the dentist next week. I did your remedy and it work for me. i did it around 5 am and it’s now 2:38 pm central time which my time in Chicago. My swelling went down so much that i can touch my face and move my mouth better then I could a few days ago and as of today. I was in prayer all day today which is May 23,2015. I will still need the tooth taken out but at least my swelling and painful gum has stopped. I did to treatments and I won’t stop until I get to see my dentist on May29,2015.Thank you and thank god for guiding me to your article post. It was blessing for me
Omg I am so thankful for this post! I am pregnant and been back and forth with my dentist because of my wisdom tooth pain. I was not supposed to be seen because I’m so early in my pregnancy and my doctor wanted me to wait until I was 15 weeks (I’m 6 weeks right now) so then when I cried to my doctor he prescribed amoxicillin (but I’m allergic to penicillin) so I couldn’t take that so while I was in pain i tried the salt water rinse which failed, I tried the garlic clove which failed, I even tried this mouthwash that was prescribed at the pharmacy and also failed. I was desperate and then God showed me this article. I was so skeptical but I’m so much pain that I just did it. First day I was brushing my mouth while bleeding and In pain but you really want that baking soda to get in the infected areas to kill it. Then I did 1 tbs of water to 1/2 tbs of hydrogen and it worked with mild pain but i felt the best that I have felt all week the next day I tried it again and I can open my mouth and tell you that the pain is gone . This really works you guys don’t knock it until you try it. Thank you Jesus and thank you for making this article It really helped me
Sir, I can’t thank you enough for this. I’ve been in agony for days with a broken tooth that has abscessed and looks like I have a huge gumball inside my jaw. Absolutely NOTHING has helped the pain – no pain medication, no topical analgesics (Orajel), not heat or cold packs on my jaw, not even the strong antibiotic the dentist prescribed. I just did this, and wow. I can’t believe how quickly I got relief. I’m not down to a zero in pain (probably down to about a 3), but I’m not in a 10+ like I’ve been in for days straight. The tears have stopped streaming down my face. God bless you, I believe He led me to find your article. I didn’t how how I was going to make it through another night, and all the dentist offices were closed today for Labor Day. Hopefully can get a root canal this week.
Garlic capsules are also amazing at killing bacteria. It is a natural antibiotic and anti-viral, I buy them at Walmart for around $5 and I always get the liquid (transparent) capsules as I feel they work better. I take 6 capsules every 5-6 hours (you can’t overdose on garlic) and could tell a difference after about 8-10 hours. Hope this helps, and I plan to try the baking soda/hydrogen peroxide as well. 👌🏼
I find myself here like everybody else. Broken tooth, no insurance and a infection. Been dealing with it for days now and it’s slowly getting worst. Ibuprofen helps but only so much. Ran across your article and I was already using the peroxide which helped a little but not the baking soda. I did it and it actually made the tooth hurt more at first in a weird way. I assume it was attacking the infection and that’s what I was feeling. Never the less after a few rinses with the peroxide and water. I feel so much better. I’ll keep this routine up until I can actually get to a dentist. Thanks a million for posting!
DUDE…my tooth is chipped badly. It’s Sunday night. I was breathing heavy and crying I was in so much pain!!! I tried clove oil, 600 mg Ibuprofen…I even begged God, the Universe and my dead mother to help me!! I was about to go to the ER but was too embarrassed to go for a toothache when people are dying there. I found your article FIRST ONE THAT POPPED UP!!! I swished with the hydrogen peroxide for 2 min and the pain was 90% gone!!!!! It foamed up so much it filled my mouth and I had to spit it out. Twice!! I then brushed with baking soda like you said. The pain was 100% gone. But then 15 minutes later the pain came back. So I held some hydrogen peroxide just over the one chipped tooth by tilting my head. (Why you ask? Because the hydrogen peroxide had eaten my tongue and all along my gums where my teeth came out and it was a bit raw.) It worked again! But it came back in 15 min. Redid the peroxide and baking soda a 3x. This time the pain staid away. Yes, the inside of my mouth is eaten up but I don’t care! Oh and the Nurseline told me to lay down with my head propped up and not flat so blood doesn’t rush to my toothache. The blood flow increases inflammation and then the pain so PROP YOUR HEAD ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE! Thank you a 1,000,000 times!
This really works! 1 tooth stopped hurting completely and the other down 80%. I take a swig of peroxide straight, swish for 3 minutes, spit, brush with baking soda, spit and then dampen your finger, dip in soda and spread over tooth and gum. Leave 2 mins. Then rinse. Your mouth will feel like its been sanitized.
I’ve had an abcess tooth for the last 5 days and antibiotics aren’t touching it. My whole jaw and cheek are swollen. I’ve taken strong pain killers that do nothing and couldn’t get an oral surgeon appt until tomorrow. I just watched your article an hour ago and only had peroxide to swish and within 5 minutes my pain was gone! And now I have a big lump on my gum and some pus started coming out from the side of my tooth! Within an hour the peroxide drew out the infection! I’m super grateful for this article! So good to know! Tomorrow this bad boy comes out thank god!
10/27/21. It really really works. Did this for 3 days. Prior to my appointment. It worked immediately with 2 to 3 minutes from 10 to 0 pain. Zero pain lasted for approximately 4 to 5 hours. Resume the same o procedure as soon as I felt it coming back then zero pain within minutes. I did this until the 3rd day when I went to dentist and it was pulled out. Thank you, thank You.
Thank you for sharing this article. 9 years later and this still works. It’s August 2024, and I woke up to a horrendous toothache. The timing couldn’t be worse as I had to be at work by 7 AM. I tried various remedies like gargling salt water and making a ginger paste, but nothing seemed to alleviate the pain. Desperate for relief, I decided to call off work and continue my search for a solution. That’s when I stumbled upon your article. With only baking soda on hand, I followed your instructions and brushed my teeth as how you said. As the lump in my gum worsened, making it difficult to swallow and speak, I knew I needed hydrogen peroxide. Thankfully, a nearby 24/7 gas station had some, and I rushed to get it around 2:30 AM. After gargling with the diluted hydrogen peroxide, the pain significantly decreased from a 10 to a 4, allowing me to finally get some much-needed sleep. Upon waking up, the lump in my gum had burst, and the pain was down to a 1. I repeated the process, and now I am completely pain-free. Your article truly worked wonders, and I cannot thank you enough.
God bless you man. I know this article is old. I’ve fought a tooth infection in my gums for about 10 years. Attacks a tooth and then the pain is awful and they do a root canal and then it jumps to another tooth. Antibiotics never worked. I thought I had tried everything. The feeling of that peroxide attacking that infection and pulling the pressure out of my gum was the most painful relief I’ve ever felt. It’s been maybe 30 minutes and I already have very little pain left. God bless you man. Truly. Dentist have NEVER told me to try this. You changed my life today. Thank you!
sir, thank you so much! You’ve literally made me so grateful to be walking pain free. I had been getting out of bed because of this pain at 2 am. And nothing I do was making it better. The pain went from my teeth to my jaw line. I was afraid the infection might be spreading way before I could see my dentist 4 days from now. There was no way of stopping this pain until i came to your article. I applied a few shakes of the baking soda and added water. but you’re right, if it’s too pasty it would be too abrasive on the gums. So just a little is right. Yea I was bleeding from it but that mean it took care of it. half an hour later to an hr it was gone and I was able to sleep. I applied it again and now the swelling went away. My gums feel weird but who cares, the pain went away like a miracle! Maybe I’ll take it easy on it and let my gums heel. Not sure if this happened to you too but let me know if you experience the same thing and what you did to take care of it. Thanks again!
Baybeeeee It’s 2:12am in NY. I strolled across this article around 2:05am. I marched in there and gave this remedy a try. Thus far, it’s helping! Haven’t got 100% pain free like a lot of the other comments read, but at least it’s more bearable. My teeth extraction is not until Tuesday. I thought I was gonna be able to make it, but tonight was just uncanny and disrespectful! I was moaning aloud, something I don’t even do during intercourse! Glad that my mind doesn’t have to remain on the pain as much as it was before!
The nurse at the dentist I went to look at me and said,” hydrogen peroxide” she was telling me this because it was suppose to be good for mouth problems. I was told by someone else that baking soda and H.P. was good at making your teeth white. The dental nurse didn’t say anything to me about the combo, but B.P. can’t hurt, it’s good for so many things.
WOW!…I just came across your article after suffering all week with a bad Wisdom Tooth abscess! I have also been taking Antibiotics and the pain started returning and the gum felt really sore!…I just used the baking soda on the infected tooth and around the gum line, and I felt almost instant relief! After just a few minutes, my gum and tooth reduced in pain! It has really worked amazing for me! THANK YOU Sir for posting this article so much! <3 You have helped me so much! <3
Thank you for this. My infection went from jaw to throat rapidly. Dentist said wisdom tooth is very low so it’s a gum issue but still wants me to see the surgeon if they should remove the tooth surgically anyway. I can’t even swallow on one side and the antibiotics aren’t working fast enough. Only one dose so far. So I watch this article at midnight. 20 hrs into infection and within an hour of trying this, the pain is cut in half. Wake up 6 hours later and pain is reduced further and a tiny piece of popcorn shell has been forced up from deep in my gum. I floss it out and do the rinse again. Going back to bed now hoping we no longer need to consider a risky surgery at my appointment tomorrow as it was more likely the popcorn shell and not the wisdom tooth that is so low that is too close to the nerve. Thanks again going back to bed as it’s 7am… 27 hrs into infection..
Mashaa Allaah! It really worked for me. I can’t stop imagining. Over the years I have been battling with extreme teeth pain. I have consulted many Dental Specialist but still no positive results until today when I searched on youtube then I found out this your article and its really worked for me . In fact I tried eating meat 🍖 and chewing gum with the affected area and there was no pain anymore. May Almighty Allaah recompense you with greatness. Aamiin🤲🙏
I’ve been awake since 3:40am. it’s is now 6:18am EST. I have been managing my pain until my dentist appointment. however today my pain said, “let me give you all I got before you kill me.” Agony!!!! Throbbing!!! I did this….wish I tried this hours ago. I’m so sleep deprived and angry but I’ll be okay until my noon appointment. p.s. nasty as hell but it’s always the nasty stuff that works.
I just use the peroxide and it got rid of my infection…but I have to do it once or twice a week. And PLEASE MAKE SURE NOT TO SWALLOW THE PEROXIDE. Spit it and the infection out and rinse really really well. I works GREAT! I’ve put off going to the doctor for months until I had the money to pay for it and it saved me a lot of pain!
What a shame that in USA so called worlds leading “top” nation we (ordinary people) can’t go to see a doctor right away, and even if you have medical insurance you’ll have to wait and suffer for a long time, that’s not progressive way of life, you’ll hardly find this kind of situation in most countries. And we have to resort for some primitive home remedies and experiments. Even if you’ll finally visit a doctor there is too much bureaucracy and it’s hard to find a good professional doctor, it is not a guarantee that they’ll fix the issue, they’ll see you as source of income instead of patient that needs urgent help. What a shame!
Tried clove oil and some turmeric powder. Both helped with the pain, but only temporarily. The baking soda brought the pain nearly all the way down within seconds after application. Using a small swab of cotton, pulled from the end of a clean Q-tip, I applied a small amount of baking soda (with added drops of water to hold it together) into the affected area exposed by a broken crown. This kept the baking soda packed on the affected tooth the rest of the night. It kept the pain way down, so far that I was finally able to fall asleep and stay asleep until my alarm went off. This is a great article. Many thanks for posting. I used to brush with baking soda. I’ll need to make a habit out of that again. I had some hydrogen peroxide on hand so I have added that to my routine until I can get to a dentist.
OMG! Thank you, thank you. I tried your remedy just now,and my pain just went away just like that. I have a broken tooth and can’t see my dr til 2 weeks from now. I WAS in crucial pain til I find you on YouTube. Even tho my pain is gone, I’m still doing it again before I go to bed. Thank you again. You are definitely a lifesaver.
Thank you! This technique has saved me a few times! I tried this a while ago which worked pretty fast. This time I must have been starting to have an issue with my tooth because I had to use this technique several times through the day. However, the pain is now mostly gone. My pain was really bad so actually I brushed rinsed then brushed again and left the baking soda water mixture in without rinsing again. I also dipped my dental floss into the baking soda paste and flossed which seemed to help. Glad I could do something since I couldn’t find a dental office that is open Sunday.
I just went through dealing with a surprise tooth issue, it wasn’t swollen around the gums, but the root base of the tooth going up into the bone was swelled and the pressure even made the tooth a little loose. It was the first molar on top right side. I tried the salt water gargle and baking soda and peroxide, and in the end there was only one thing that I found to penetrate the issue and sterilize the infection out in just 1 day!!! Believe it or not… WHISKEY!!!! And I do not like hard alcohol!! I’m more of a few beers on a Friday night kind of guy! But I did find a strong tolerable tasting whiskey called Maker’s Mark, and all I did was do a cap full little taster, hold in my mouth around the sore area for at least 3 minutes and I could feel the alcohol being absorbed in and literally burning out the soreness and infection, and it left a slight numbness for a bit. The burning sensation was like a burning relief compared to the infection soreness!! I did that 3 times in the first evening and the next day I woke up to just the slightest bit of feeling to know it had been there, but was now over 90% gone!! I kept doing little bits, holding it in my mouth for a few minutes over the next couple days and now it is gone and its been about a week now and NO ISSUES!!!
My broken tooths infected & has gotten completely out of control! Last week the dentist wrote a script for amoxicillin & that didn’t help, then on to clandamiacin (another antibiotic). Now three days into the 2nd antibiotic, I woke up @ 3:45am after rinsing w/salt water before bed & antiseptic mouthwash before bed to find my face looked like a chipmunks🐿Its now about the size of a baseball & I’m still taking the antibiotic to no avail! I’m about to try this, I did read online that the two together can really help an abscessed tooth but haven’t tried it yet! At this point I’ll go into someone’s dark basement if they offered to get rid of this shit🤦♀️
Thank you so much. I been in pain for weeks. Last night I was browsing through you tube for a fast remedy. Wow I jumped out of my bed and follow your instructions and my God withing minutes I had no pain and the swelling went down. God bless you and all this time I had all the remedies at home. Nothing over the counter was helping. You are a genius 👏
I had a tooth infection last year. Doctor gave antibiotics. They cleared it up but I didn’t get a root canal. Too expensive and I heard root canals are dangerous. Fast forward last week, I developed a tooth infection in the same tooth. I did not want those antibiotics again and I don’t want it pulled. The tooth is still strong. So I prayed. Then I decided to replicate the antibiotics by taking natural antibiotics. Tons of garlic (6-7 cloves) blended with lemons with peel also raw ginger juiced with one carrot. I added a teaspoon of turmeric and a teaspoon of dry ginger to these concoctions. Added some honey too. A week later, my tooth pain I gone and swelling is gone. I’m thankful to God. He helped me through this and He had created so many natural things we can take for our health. Now my goal is to take vitamin k2, try to master making natto and cod liver oil.
Over the Christmas holidays, what appears to be an abscessed tooth appeared. Hurt hurt and hurt. Headache. Jaw hurt. All my teeth hurt. Watched your article and followed through. Maybe it’s psychological, I don’t know, I don’t care – my headache…gone. Jaw pain… gone. Mouth pain where abscess is… gone. Thank you so much!
I just happened to end up with the worst toothache ever this morning, Christmas Eve. Called every single dentist with extra bucks in my wallet for holiday pay. No one answered except the only one with an emergency pager. He said, “Sorry, if you’re not a regular patient of mine, I can’t see you until Monday.” Legal reasons, he says. I call bullshit. Dentists, in general, are JACKASSES. I was so ready to pay double even for that wonderful shot of Novacain. Anyway, I’m going to try this method today. I’ll report in later.
my Brother thank you, i saw your article last night. iv been in agony pain infection gum, for 1 whole week i did the rinsing . last night & this morning . all pain is Gone Gone Gone, Jesus is my personal Savior… thanks Brother. ( Dentist was hiting me up for a $ 4,000 treatment to cure the Infection )

What the hell why not just try this anyways immediately I felt the pain just died down so much I started spitting out blood and infection started to come out of my tooth !!Nasty!I KNOW!anyhow thank you so much I thought it was going to be a little too late since I was in so much pain by the time i trird it..but this actually worked!! im going to repeat this as least twice a day until i see my Dentist.. 👄💗👯👯
