Deregistering An Lg Magic Remote?

The LG Smart TV Magic Remote Control can be registered and deregistered by pressing the (BACK) and (Home) buttons simultaneously for five seconds. This will unpair the remote with your TV. If you receive a message that says registration failed, or other remote issues, try again after turning the TV off and back on.

To register the Magic Remote, first put batteries into the remote and turn the TV on. Point the remote at your TV and press the Wheel (OK) button on the remote control. If the TV fails to register the Magic Remote, try again after turning the TV off and back on.

To deregister the Magic Remote, press and hold the (HOME) and BACK buttons together for more than 5 seconds. If previously paired with the TV, deregister the Magic Remote by pressing and holding down the HOME and BACK buttons together for 5 seconds. Turn on the TV and press the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for five seconds until you receive a message.
