Thank you for bringing attention to this dungeon! As someone who has farmed this place on 4 wizards now for the good amulets, athames, rings, and decks for the level, it is REALLY hard to find team ups for Hollow Mountain. I don’t understand why this dungeon gets so overlooked when it gives the best accessories available at that level. While Zeus gear is better in most ways for most schools, Olympus only gives hats, robes, boots, and wands. The athames that drop from Tonkatsu give 8 or 9 power pip, the rings give decent power pip plus set resist for the opposite school (except balance which gets universal resist), the decks give a small amount of health on top of a good number of card copies, and even if you aren’t balance, the amulets still give a good school trap item card (stackable with other traps) and a decent amount of health which is better than pretty much any other amulet at that level. The only downside is that the dungeon is long, kinda hard, and has a relatively low drop rate. I only get a top-tier item maybe one every 2 or 3 runs which is not a lot for a dungeon that takes 25-30 minutes to complete with a competent team.
Thank you! Balance is the only school that can use this besides life for the simple reason that it can sustain itself just fine with availing hands. Don’t forget learned feint, treasure card, potent, pet, and gear cards are all classified as separate and can ALL be stacked. My balance mostly focuses on tc, potent, and learned feint. But it still takes Judgement about 8-10 pips to one shot whatever it needs to. With this amulet, now I can just use Nova. 4 feints on boss and nova should do roughly 20k at level 120 (where my balance is). Remember this, balance wizards. Throw on Dworgyn’s mass feint hat, a feint + resist pet, this amulet, and have a deck full of feints and potents and tc fients. Along with balance blades and sharpen and availing hands. Maybe bladestorm if there are 2 hitters. The absolute ultimate support school and I love it Side note – Feathered Tabby’s cat nap spell is the only other heal that balance gets. Use a stun shield on yourself and you have 2 upgraded pixies with no detriments. Also comes with dragonlance. More outgoing healing the better, which is super easy to get since athames often come with 20 or 30+ outgoing around level 60ish. Stone of the other side is a great ring for this sustain build, I will often do 1k+ with only having one outgoing healing focused item. It lets you use this feint/balanceblade amulet perfectly instead of running life mastery amulet
Thank youuuuuuuuu!! I’ve been using my balance wizard a lot lately and the damage is just a little too low for my liking. This will be a HUGE help, and shouldn’t be too hard to farm since my balance is already in the high 40s 😁 I only did the mountain once with friends back at level 25, guess I didn’t realize how good the drops are for such a low level!
This is only worth farming if you are planning to solo as a balance all game. If you at all are planning to quest with friends or your second account, don’t waste your time farming this. The only reason this amulet is good is because it gives you a second stronger balanceblade to stack ontop of a 35% balanceblade with your enchanted armament to kill mobs faster with sandstorm. And the front for bosses Otherwise as a support, amulet is useless. You get way more by simply using an enchanted arnament pet and blading someone with a 35 and 45 blade
