Do Mystics And Monks Help Me Convert In Secret?

In the game, players can secretly convert to a religion, such as Zoroastrianism, by practicing another religion. This is possible through the Monks and Mystics DLC, which allows players to join monastic orders, secret cults, and Gnostic heresies. The main feature of Monks and Mystics is the addition of Societies, which allow characters to join monastic orders, secret cults, and Gnostic heresies.

Monks and Mystics has given more power to heretical groups like the Lollard heresy, allowing players to secretly support a heretical Catholic group. The demon child event chain is linked to Secret Societies, allowing players to secretly convert to their spouse religion. This is useful when Heir 2 inherits and wants to stop being secretly Orthodox.

The “Secretly convert to holy site religion” requires patch 2.7 but does not require the Monks and Mystics DLC. Players can evoke sympathy, convince them to secretly convert, and eventually join the secret society. At the highest rank, rulers can overtly embrace the religion and convert, leading to powerful religious revolts.

Monastic Orders are about learning and teaching virtues, removing wicked traits, and converting realm religion. It is common practice to have tutors of these orders. In CK2, there was no way to convert faiths outside your realm. However, players can take a Catholic county as part of their demesne and right-click the title shield to secretly convert to Catholic. This allows players to secretly support a heresy and officially convert it into their nation’s religion.

In conclusion, secret conversion to a religion is possible through various methods, including secret cults, secret societies, and converting to a different religion.

How do you secretly convert in ck2?

To secretly convert to another religion, you can own a holy site of another religion, like Jerusalem, and make your secret religion public by right-clicking your portrait. If you achieve the highest rank in the cult corresponding to your secret religion, all members in your top realm can announce their true faith in unison. You can spend 250 piety to secretly convert to the religion of your choice, but most holy sites are temples.

This decision requires holding the county, and you cannot secretly convert to a heresy via holy sites. If you don’t see options, reload the saved game. If you’re playing as a nomad, you can only convert to religions you have the DLC for.

What is the legal age in CK2?

The game follows a character’s childhood up until the age of 16, during which they are educated in various ways of life and gain traits and attributes. Education occurs in three stages: the primary parent, who is determined by the type of marriage, takes over until the child reaches age 16, and an education trait is assigned based on the final guardian’s education trait. Each adult can have up to two wards at a time, with guards having increased plot power against their wards for assassination purposes.

Why can’t i seduce CK2?

If the seduce action is not available in the target’s diplomacy screen, you may already be seducing someone else. You can wait for the previous seduction event to resolve or right-click your portrait to stop seducing. With personal opinion below 0, the seducer will always attempt to woo, with a 61 chance to woo and 39 chance to bed, and with a personal opinion of 40+, the seducer will always attempt to bed.

What religions don’t accept converts?

Religions that do not accept converts are often small, ethnically based minority groups like the Yazidis, Druze, and Mandaeans. The Parsis, a Zoroastrianism group in India, does not accept converts but became controversial in the 20th century due to a decline in membership. Chinese traditional religions lack clear criteria for membership and conversion, but Taoism has its own religious conversion ceremony. Shakers and some Indian eunuch brotherhoods do not allow procreation, making every member a convert.

Various factors and circumstances can influence individuals to convert and adopt new religious doctrines and habits. Religious enthusiasm for proselytism can play a role, as seen in the New Testament, Irish and Anglo-Saxon priests, and 19th-century missions against North Atlantic revivalism. These examples demonstrate the diverse ways in which religions can influence conversions and adoption of new beliefs.

Do Hindus accept converts?

Hinduism, a non-proselytizing religion, accepts those who adhere to its tenets but does not actively seek converts. However, some Hindu leaders are reluctant to accept those who wish to become Hindus themselves.

What age can you get pregnant in Crusader Kings 2?

A female in a marriage under 45 with no Celibate trait can potentially get pregnant, influenced by traits like Chaste and Lustful. Pregnant women can also be pregnant through events like anger towards the death of their first-born son. Couples typically have two children, but traits increasing fertility can produce more. As long as no fertility reducing traits are present, a couple can have enough children to continue their dynasty. The child’s stats and traits are influenced by both parents’ stats and traits, so it’s wise to marry someone with good stats and traits.

However, a mother will have good relations with her own children, not those from a previous pairing. Remarrying and having more children may risk the new wife assassinating the original children to pave the way for her own.

What is the easiest country to play CK2 in?

The most straightforward method for acquiring a fundamental understanding of the principles of conquest is to commence the game as King Murchad of Mumu in 1066 in Ireland. This approach allows the player to observe how other smaller realms and nearby kingdoms respond to the initial incursion. For those new to the game, it is advisable to begin as an independent king, such as Boleslaw “the Bold” of Poland or King Svend of Denmark. This approach offers a relatively secure starting point.

How many concubines can you have in CK2?

Concubinage is a practice where pagans, Zoroastrians, Eastern religions, and tribal and nomadic rulers can take up to three concubines instead of marrying multiple wives. Muslim rulers cannot request concubines from iqta realms and must invite them to their court first. A character can take a concubine without being married, setting aside a concubine with a -20 opinion penalty. Children of concubines have the Child of Consort trait, giving -1 Diplomacy, similar to bastards but taking their place in the line of succession. Rulers get a bonus to monthly prestige for having “nubile concubines” of childbearing age. Taking a concubine of high status gives +25 prestige per rank. Concubinage does not lead to alliances.

Can you have multiple wives in CK2?

Polygamy is a Muslim-exclusive marriage mechanic that allows Muslim men to marry up to four wives. It disallows women from taking consorts, even if other traits unlock it. This doctrine also forces male rulers to marry extra wives or suffer prestige loss, similar to Islamic rulers. Concubinage is a distinct system used by Pagans, Zoroastrians, Eastern religion followers, and tribal and nomadic rulers. Help verify or update older sections of this article.

Is changing religion a sin?

Brother Bob emphasizes that God’s law prohibits bowing down or serving carved images, making any religion that includes such practices untrue according to the Bible. He believes that staying in a false religion, even after hearing God’s law, is a sin. He asks for a biblical example of someone who made such a change in religion and what the true religion should be. Apostle Paul is a prime example of someone who made such a change, as he grew up in a religion that did not bow down to or serve carved images. This biblical example serves as a reminder to seek the right religion and follow God’s law.

  • Honestly, I prefer your nonchalant, non-scripted self. This was very informative. However, There are dozens of other websites that do things like this. Your sense of humor is your own. It’s unique, and absolutely hilarious. Jokes are only funny if they are said with spontaneousness. You don’t have that in scripted articles.

  • I played as Latin Empire‘a first emperor Baudouin. I connected Monothelitism during crusade. Because I have big religion score I found Monothelitism faithful. I used devotion points convert most of my realm to Monothelitism. Then when I playing as Baudouin the second, I beat the shit out of orthodox. Their moral authority is 1.2 now. Monothelitism is 70. I also use holy war convert great-grandson of Saladin to Monothelitism

  • In my game I’ve been playing whack-a-mole with the Jesuits (Society of Jesus/Secret Catholics) who have been trying to turn my ruler Catholic through his wife and his children. I’m playing as a Waldensian who conquered Persia in the Crusades then openly converted once I wasn’t bordering any Catholic nations.

  • Nice guide. I actually started one while I was the emperor of a sort of Balkan (Wallachia+Bulgaria+Hungary more or less) federation (tried for Bogomilist from orthodox). I think in a couple of years I managed to induct about 40 kids from my realm and ~ 20 adults. I think the key is to have the new kids educated either openly in the new religion or (more safely) as as secret cultists. It helps to have an courtier with high (18 or above) diplo and use only that person on all kids once you circled through all (if possible, though it involves a bit of micro) – also place them as court educator. Also, you can periodically check with your main character if that kid was approached (by you or other roaming cults). Actually I had to contend with a pagan cult who was giving sympathy to almost anyone, was quite fun 🙂

  • Here is the question though. What religion Court Caplain will spread? I am currently began playing as Phug Zazu ith Bon religion, adobted (falsely) Buddism and stuck at this moment. My court caplain can protestylize my own terrytory (there is written “current religion: Bon”) so i guess he will convert to Buddism, burn those who spread Bon. Does it mean he become useless (except option “Build Zeal”) ?

  • Question: I don’t have the sword of Islam dlc, yet my ruler’s heir became secretly Sunni (no idea how) and started a secret society and invited me (ruler was Christian) into it. If the secret society grows powerful enough and manages to convert my kingdom. Will I play as a Sunni or will the game pull some bs and it will cause my instant game over?
