I do agree about the mirrors being connected because I was speaking affirmations in the bathroom mirror a while back and one affirmation I would say I love you(myself) and after maybe a month or maybe two I was walking past another mirror in my home and heard I love you. My family is Christian and when I used to sleep with The lights off I will see shadows of a person and had nightmares. I used to get so scared and at church a pastor prayed for me and told me to read Psalm 91. I happened to read it in the mirror and it helped me sleep better. True story. Years ago I smoked weed heavy . One night I smoked and i was super drunk. I came home and used the bathroom. When I was done I was so high that I was stuck. I stood in front of the mirror and could not move. I Found myself standing for so long to when I heard myself say wake up! Only then I was able to move.

Yep I saw that shadow, I thought I was tripping and watched that part like 5 times. This is making so much sense to me. I feel and so does my family the energies of people who use to live in this house. There are three mirrors plus the bathroom mirror. Plus there where two dressers with mirrors. My grandparent in laws own this house and I believe her mother passed away up here (up here meaning this is a duplex and they live downstairs). i noticed in dreams i look i the mirror ALOT. its kinda of an impulse thing i grew up doing, my mom especially instilled it in into me to make sure i look presentable, that my makeups still good etc. so there have been a few times where ill look for a mirror to see myself, some times ill see a completely different person, like its me in spirit but my appearence is different within this setting. it doesnt freak me out, ive never seen anything TRAUMATIZING, never changing the dream or tone, its just something thats the most consistent habit of mine within my dream world at least
I just found this article. I bought a mirror @ an antique store, Pismo California It has shutters and they were all waxed shut. I loved it anyway and bought it. When I cleaned it up, all hell broke loose. I had put it i storage and when I moved just a couple of years ago I brought it inside my home. (Bad idea) That night I heard a loud noise and came out to find things on a shelf thrown to the floor and my dogs cowering in the kitchen. I have this mirror on my patio. When I was having panic attack or crying bc I felt hurt sometime I will go in the mirror and tell myself, u are enough, u are beautiful, capable, kind, loving and loved, and I will slowly calm down as I keep saying it and looking at myself in which always feel hard to keep looking and say kind thing, thank you, this just help me clarify many good habit I have build without even knowing, 🥹 sometime I will look at that same mirror and think of those days and smile bc It feel like a relief to see how far I have came .

If you hang a mirror on the wall but tilted over so you can see yourself laying down then you can use your reflection as a reference point when youre learning to astrally project. They can also confound spirits who lack dimensionality and trap/misdirect others. I was gonna say I dont do much with mirrors til I noticed the charm I made from a broken piece just.. I love mirror magick and for a long time had to avoid the mirror when I was being really depressive because I didn’t want to see myself and by extension curse myself with my negative thoughts. Love how simple you explain thing, the production value and you look beautiful 🥰. lil mirror story time I believe what you say when you mention that “mirrors carry the energy of the people that may have been in it before you” because I have had a used mirrors myself and seen and experienced things with it that hadn’t happened before hand. The best example that sticks out to me is the time where I was in middle school and my dad purchased a golden vanity for me. it had two glass shelves with gold and trim and there was a mirror right in the middle above the two shelves that you could tilt to your liking. I had this mirror up against the window in my bedroom and the mirror was actually facing towards the doorway of my bedroom. (Picture you sitting at a vanity and the doorway being right over your shoulder) To the left of the doorway was the head of my bed so when laying down I could see into the mirror and whatever / whoever was on the hall outside of my bedroom. One night I happened to look into the mirror and saw someone with a red and white striped shirt. This really stuck out to me bc I knew no one in my home owned that top AT ALL. I stared at the figure for a while in a curious manor…only the shirt was showing no arms, face, pants just a portion of a red and white stripped shirt btw… normally it’s a closest door right there which was dark brown so I know I wasn’t mistaking what I saw.
I have a experience. I had a very old mirror in my house and felt I should get rid of it one day but got busy and forgot months later something feel from a high shelve and shattered the mirror as soon as that happened I felt like a heavy weight lifted off me and my house . I’ve always had an intuition about mirrors and just knew not to face two towards each other cuz it always felt like a portal. I have seen my face and eyes change in the mirror. I don’t like them in my bedroom but if it’s the only place I’ll face it away from the bed at night. I have intuitively cleared and cleansed my mirrors cuz I just knew they held memories etc..I have done spells using mirrors, revocation etc…
I’ve done mirror magic bot for affirmations. When I’m doing my hair or skin care i affirm myself. Also I dance in the mirror to affirm myself! I do keep my mirrors covered at night . My toddler was sleeping in my room and anytime the mirror wasn’t covered he couldn’t sleep. Once I covered it he had no issues. I’ve since saged and cleaned It! You look gorgeous per usual!!

I walked past a mirror in my bathroom one day and i looked at it while passing by and my face had a white powder covering my face(like in African rituals, is the brst way i can describe it) I thought it was a smudge, although it did scare me. I had my bd come stand where i was standing in the mirror to see if his face did it to, it didn’t and he freaked out when he saw my face in the mirror in the same spot, i had the white substance on my face. Even checked the mirror for a smudge. None. Same mirror, I also saw i had 2 shadows in this mirror. I have no idea what any of this means.
Random but when I was in middle school I use to go to the bathroom & when I got to the sink I wouldn’t look directly into the mirror. I would squint my eyes really tightly because I didn’t want to see what I looked like. I thought I look bad that’s why😭mind u I was far from it! I just had a slight acne/ pimple problem😭😭🤦🏿♀️
At some point I had really bad nightmares night after night I knew I was dreaming but I couldn’t wake-up I kept asking myself what changed in my life to have these nightmares?! That’s when I noticed the mirror I changed the furniture in my room and put the mirror right in front of my bed big mistake never do that, I cover the mirror that night no nightmares I removed the cover nightmares again so I just changed its placement. In my culture my mom told me that she knew the sister of one of her friends who was possessed, she would wake-up at night, light a candle and start putting makeup on, brushing her hair and putting perfume on and stay on bed all night like that and before dawn she would wash everything out and go to sleep, we say that she is possessed by a jinn who is in love with her and it’s a pain to get rid of them. Since a very young age my mother always warned me about looking in the mirror at night.

I especially never have them hung up in my room, because whatever which way it faces directly at the bed and that is the worse place to have it… something about bad energies and entities being able to get you. mirror magic…i crafted mirror boxes for someone who was definitely out to get me. a week later he was in the hospital for emergency surgery. another man, an ex, was stalking my social media. put em in a box. long story but he was busted cheating on his gf who lived across the country (women talk, guys!). mirrors are so powerful
Ive had a vanity set that was my mom’s before she passed, that she got from my granny.. just saying all that to explain my love for it, but through a couple moves, the main mirror has broken at the top. I want to get rid of it because i felt like it was interrupting good energies, but are there any protection procedures i need to do before throwing it away.
I feel so bad that people of color had to watch movies (like snow white) and play with toys (like Barbies or dolls) of all WHITE characters! Even tarot decks, most of them are white based. I think that is awful that you had to go through that and I am sorry. I think about it and I wonder how you guys got along with all that, especially growing up seeing that white people were more recognized than black people and that must still have lingering trauma in some of you – or maybe many of you. U got some good points but anyone who thinks crystal are magic other then the properties about it and calls them self a witch is lost. You are not a witch and those crystals do not protect u from anything especially when u call urself a witch. You need crystals and sages and candles all I need is the armour of God, the armor u or any witch, warlock, demon etc can’t break through and I can bet that even in the spiritual.
