The Boruto sequel series reveals Naruto’s unique Nine-Tails form, which he gains after the war. Kurama, also known as the Nine-Tails, was one of the nine tailed beasts created by the Sage of Six Paths. The Nine-Tails Chakra Mode is a unique transformation granted to the Jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails, and it allows them to absorb nature. Naruto Uzumaki, the perfect Jinchuriki of Kurama, can use several forms of the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, making him the strongest human and Hokage to ever live.
However, Naruto does not have much more than the average amount of chakra. He is seen as having more because he is using Kurama’s chakra for the entirety. The tailed beasts, sometimes referred to as “Chakra Monsters”, are the nine titanic living forms of chakra created by the Sage of Six Paths out of the chakra from. Their chakra network is so one in the same that in part 1, the Byakugan saw his chakra network as blue (like regular shinobi), but in Boruto the Byakugan views it as orange (Kurama mixing overtime has altered its color).
In Boruto, Naruto retains most of his human form, but some of Kurama’s chakra is lost due to the recent chapter. Naruto’s whiskers appear over his face because his parent, Naruto, had kyuubi inside him. In Boruto, he still has the full Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, but with added dad jokes.
