Danger Sense is a Barbarian passive feature that grants an advantage on Dexterity Saving Throws against traps, spells, and surfaces as long as the user isn’t blinded, deafened, or incapacitated. It does not change the spell/effect’s saving throw, but only gives an advantage if it is a Dex save. An example of where this would work is in Fireball, which is a Dexterity Saving Throw.
To gain this benefit, the user must not be blinded, deafened, or incapacitated. Danger Sense can be used against effects such as traps and spells, as well as objects or mechanisms created for the purpose of the spell. At 2nd level, the user gains an uncanny sense of when things nearby aren’t as they should be, giving them an edge when they dodge away from danger.
The Danger Sense feature is not a set-up effect for since it cannot test for conditions like traps and spells. However, the user can gain an advantage on a Dexterity saving throw against an effect that they can see, such as a trap or spell. To gain this benefit, the user must not be blinded, deafened, or incapacitated.
Danger Sense is not a psionic ability that can be set up for, as it is not a condition that can be tested. Instead, wizards can cast a spell to get it. The Danger Sense feature is a passive skill that does not change the spell/effect’s saving throw, but rather grants an advantage on Dex saves.

📹 Unbelievable Low Level Build: Deal over 121 damage using only DARTS!?!
In this video, I’ll go over a low-level multiclass build for DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) 5e using the Barbarian and Fighter classes.
I’ll might get a new barbarian slip into the group next week… A mother that might quit half way through the night (babies cry at night!). I also have to start thinking of “exit” scenarios for that player at random times. (So, i’m guessing a newly self-discovered female alcooholic barbarian that randomly leaves the group to go have a drink at the inn, spending her loot-money on beer, might be a weird but acceptable “excuse” for leaving the group at random times – if in the middle of a fight, i guess once she rages, i’ll just autopilot her into aggression, but hopefully the babies will sleep while we go on our adventures).
