📹 Happily Ever After Fireworks Return Performance 2023 – Magic Kingdom
The Happily Ever After Fireworks return! After almost 2 years these beloved fireworks made their return to the Magic Kingdom.
When stars are born, they possess a gift or two. One of them is this: they have the power to make a wish come true. Star light, star bright, First star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might Have the wish I wish tonight. We’ll make a wish, and do as dreamers do. Do as dreamers do. And all our wishes… All our wishes… Will come true. When you wish upon a star, Makes no difference who you are! Anything your heart desires will come to you. Pretty, huh? I’ll bet a lot of you folks don’t believe that—about a wish coming true—do ya? We’ll I didn’t either. Course, I’m just a cricket, but let me tell you what made me change my mind. You see, the most fantastic, magical things can happen, and it all starts with a wish! If your heart is in your dreams… I wish I could go to the ball! I’m wishing… someday, my prince will come! No request is too extreme! I wish—Oh, I wish I could be part of that world! I wish we’d never have to grow up. Off to Neverland! Haha! When you wish upon a star, As dreamers do. Look Jiminy! Someday, I wish I could be a real boy! Genie, I wish for your freedom! Wishes! You know, any wish is possible. All it takes is a little courage to set it free! A wish is a powerful thing—especially when it comes from the heart. Fate is kind. She brings to those who love The sweet fulfilment of their secret longing. Like a bolt out of the blue, Fate steps in and sees you through. When you wish upon a star, Your dreams come true! Sometimes, wishes can be granted in the most unexpected ways.
I wish I could have seen it one more time before it got replaced. The last time I went to disney world was when I was in grade 9…. I’m in 2nd year postgrad now. It’s been 8 long years 😧… I was hoping to go again, but things happened and I just never had the time…. I hope to go again after my postgrad degree as a treat to myself. Or maybe if I get externships in florida, then i’ll go ^_^ In the meantime, I just listen to disney park music when I study 😏 not very effective because I end up being absorbed by the music instead 😅
You’ve only got to watch this article of wishes to realise why the new look, penny pinching, money grabbing, Disney organisation changed it. It used hundreds of expensive fireworks every night, the new show uses a fraction. Another VP gets a big bonus for yet another idea which makes Disney richer but chips away yet again at the magic. Used to go for two weeks every year, not any more!
If I’m being honest, I was really disappointed with Wishes when I went to Disney World. I’d seen the fireworks shows at Disneyland in Paris and California and the way they did the fireworks and projections was amazing but so I was shocked to find out that Paris, the one everyone calls the worst Disney Park actually did it better than Disney World. But the new one Happily Ever After seems a lot better is like a much better version of Disney Dreams from Paris.
I went to WDW this past January, and now I’m perusal this as people say it’s better. I prefer Happily Ever After. It’s more magical. They play songs from all your childhood musics, and not just the instrumental. I feel that having theme being Happily Ever After makes for more chances to include more material. Not just revolving around the wishes.
just going to say to anyone who might read the comment section and tries to reply to the one user named Selton K, please don’t waste your time talking with them. They’re a big troll and won’t stand to reason. I would say this on that comment thread but I don’t want to engage talking with them again. Thank you that is all
Don’t get me wrong, wishes is great but happily ever after is 🙌🙌🙌🙌. I think the nostalgic of wishes really gets to some people, but happily ever after I think is just the better show. The projection on the castle really makes a HUGE difference the only thing I’d maybe change in HEA is add the classic firework over the castle, jiminy cricket and the “when you wish upon a Star” and that’s from a woman who grew up on wishes.
I went to WDW for the first time a month ago. I have been going to Disneyland my whole life, and these fireworks dissapointed me so much. They took the beging and ending of the 50th Anniversery, scaled it down, and took out everything in the middle which was awesome. To me, these were just any old fireworks. I really enjoyed my trip to WDW, but I have to say our fireworks are so much better than just fireworks going off to music. Hopefully the new show will be better!
I have a poem to say Oh Wishes The fireworks that gleam… The one who used to be in the Disney team… Your splendid colors light up the night…. I get happy even if I’m in a fight. Your Beauty touched the sky Up high You did it 14 years… Out of love Your looks brought be to tears But now it’s time for you to go… Way past the stars and gold. You will never be forgotten I look past the clouds of Cotten to wait for your return. Wishes I love you R.I.P Wishes 2003- 2017 ☹️😢😭😭😣😭
