Sadima’s Touch gloves are a unique item that adds 1 to 13 lightning damage to attacks and increases the maximum energy shield by 18 seconds. It also has a targeted AoE damage effect with a 1-minute cooldown, 30-yard range, and an 8-yard radius. The Touch of the Magi is a relatively short cooldown spell that accumulates 20 of the damage done to the target for 10 seconds.
Ranged attacks from spells are typically considered “weapon-like”, as they deal Holy damage to targets hit and apply a debuff that increases. The gloves have legacy variants, and their name is derived from “Midas”, a king in Greek Mythology who is said to have a touch that turns things into gold.
Spell Sniper doesn’t interact with touch spells in RAW, so weapon finesse could only affect melee touch attack spells which use str for attack rolls. Sadima’s Touch has legacy variants, and its IQ nerf (5-10 down from 12-16) may be a challenge for casual players trying to get into Magic Find builds.
The gloves also have an aura that adds fire damage to attacks and spells. They require Level 11 and can add 4 to 8 fire damage to attacks. The gloves also have an increased level of socketed skill gems per 25 player levels. Fire damage is mitigated by fire resistance and reduction to fire damage taken, and skills dealing or affecting fire damage have the Fire gem tag.
